Tommy had been giving Jerus a well earned congratulations for defeating another Dragon type when the Excadrill burst in just after the gruff voice echoed through the tunnel. Narrowing his eyes, Tommy stood and recalled the Ralts, pulling Amica's pokeball free of it's place on my belt. "Looks like we found the guy who's been antagonizing Entei. Of course, if the legends are to be believed, we're lucky that that's the ONLY one he's disturbed." Throwing the ball, the Froakie emerged from her ball and stood tall and defiant in the face of her easily and accurately perceived opponent, the Excadrill. It's trainer came up behind it shortly after, but didn't say a word, watching the three budding trainers to see what they'd do first.

"Froakie!" Amica said, ready and willing to kick some tail if it meant calming Entei.

@Holy Soldier I'm enjoying it. I also find that fighting other characters besides those already player controlled is a good idea, as we don't stagnate for fight creativity too quickly.

Even as the wave came at him, the Nightstalker waited, knowing that he really only had one or two tricks up his sleeve, and even then, he wasn't sure if that would be enough to make a difference. Still, he had to try, and as the force carried him up as intended, James waited, watching his opponent for his follow up that he'd come to expect from the brawling gentleman. As fate would have it, the Hunter didn't have to wait long before the gentleman spoke.
“I shall sever! Dead On Time!” Slayer cannoned forward fist-first, his speed and power igniting the very air around him, and his fist bore down on James like a crashing wave, but the Nightstalker could only grin beneath his helmet as he approached.

"And here I thought you were holding out on me." The blow would connect as intended, but James would also squeeze off two center mass aimed shots just before impact, his shields shattering once more as he sailed into the protective side walling. Coughing, he struggled a moment to stand up, using the wall for support. If he was honest, he felt like he'd just been struck by Alicia's Storm Fist, though without the jolts of lightning that came with it.

@Caits Do keep in mind there are other things that need to move forward as well.

The blow connected with James's helmet, just like he knew it would, and his shield had something of a shattering effect as it went down. However, what he hadn't expected was that the blow would manage to send him sliding back several feet despite the interference of the shielding, causing him to completely stop the follow up slash with his knife and dive to the right, firing three shots from the Imago Loop to force the gentleman, who was now confirmably something more than human, to reconsider a direct follow up.

While he was moving and reloading, Charger was figuring out what had happened. "That was rather out of character for our shielding. Usually we don't get knocked around like that unless it's already dropped. Perhaps we should spend more time looking at interactions between universes when we're done here." James grunted an affirmative, keeping both knife and hand cannon at the ready as the Night Stalker fired a burst of six shots at the gentleman, testing his reflexes and his ability to close the gap.
Jack waited to respond, firing a leading burst of shots to force the GN drive Gundam to back off a little before taking some cover himself. "Try not to trash that suit too badly, we've got a couple on the Sundown that could use any parts we can keep in one piece assuming we don't give it a new pilot." That said, Jack began making shots and attacks that were subtle baits to follow him, moving into the city to provide additional cover when he couldn't keep his shield between himself and the enemy.

This whole thing had been a mess. The group in the city had been waiting, but not for the Sundown and their allies, it was for this other group, who were definitely mostly ZAFT supporters, which made killing the SOBs all the easier at the end of the day. However, that didn't explain how the city group had know ANYONE was coming, and resolved to speak with the Captain about possibilities when this whole thing was over.
Journey through the Lush Dark-A Skittering Foe

Wrath's eyes narrowed dangerously at the word lapdog. "Lapdog? I answer to Uriel and the Charred Council alone. Where I go, I go with their authority. If I say to leave this quadrant of the jungle be, it will be left alone. At least by the Army of Light. I would almost implore you feast on or kill every Laguna angel you see." Wrath fell silent after that, contemplating his answer to the second, though technically third, question. It was true he couldn't give a valid reason other than...him. And if this thing could benefit Sevrin, Wrath knew he'd be down to retrieve it himself.

"As for why you should relinquish it, there is a person here in this jungle that poses a threat much greater than stray angels and demons; someone with the power to best the strongest of Humanity's, Heaven's and Hell's champions without hardly a second thought. This source of power may very well be something he needs or wants and you wouldn't be able to stop him if you wanted to. He'd wipe you and your whole brood out just for being there, nevermind trying to stop him from getting to it. You let me have it, you and your brood survive." Wrath granted a mental smile to himself. At least until I can come back and spare the time to kill you. Can't risk another Silitha. Fainting a lowered guard, Rage Bringer came down a bit. "So I say once more, what say you?"
Corporal James Hunt|Vacation with Strings

As each person loaded up on the truck to the train, James did a head count of each person who got on, making sure everyone who was supposed to be there was there, and then doing another after Carn, who would need a reminder that showing up late all the time was not an acceptable thing, Darcsen NCO or no. Once that was done, he climbed in next to the driver and told him to get going. After a decent drive, made longer by the necessity of allowing real military convoys by, they managed to catch the train.

Hunt rushed everyone on, making sure they all presented their tickets as they raced aboard and making sure the more packed squad members got their packs stowed properly. Once that was all done, he set to find a seat of his own, spotting Lily with one of the squad's new members. Approaching, the new member, Reinhardt if his memory served, since he made a point of avoiding looking at her name tag due to it's placement on the chest, excused herself and headed off to get beverages. Holding up his flask, James took a seat across from Lily and waited until the door was closed to look at her. She was even cuter when she was-Cut that out, you. You're her superior officer. At least wait until you're out of uniform. Deciding to distract himself, he struck up conversation. "So, crazy luck getting a trip to the capitol after Vasel, huh?"

Alicia had ben one of the first to show up at the war room, taking a standing position close to the central table and waiting patiently. As a Titan, and the only one there, she was responsible for representing the Vanguard as only one of the more militant members of it could. If she had to guess, James had already placed himself on someone's bad side and so it would be her job to make sure that bad taste would disappear as quickly as possible. Not that she didn't respect the Hunter greatly, the crazy bastard had gone toe to toe with Hive Knights more times than The Stalwart could remember and won, but he also had a penchant for doing the job his way, not necessarily the right way.

When the others arrived and Guile gave his briefing, Alicia wasted no time in stepping forward. "If you need another team member for the Dreamland mission, I'll volunteer, sir." She often addressed Zavala the same way, which he didn't mind as he always felt the Hunters and Warlocks weren't militant and formal enough, though it was to be expected when Hunters spent months in the wilds of the Earth and other various planets and Warlocks were essentially dedicated to their research to better understand the Light for the betterment of all. She still had her helmet free, so her blue skin, glowing blue eyes, and bright purple hair in it's strange hairdo still hanging about, the purple of her lips and white paint on her nose, cheeks and chin complementing each other surprisingly well.
Eh not wanting to be that guy but when should I be expecting a response for Nicodemus?

A number of us are waiting on responses from others so...yeah.
