Would you look at that! Two people from my first ever attempt at running a Pokemon RP: @Zarkun@LuckyBlackCat. I'm honored to have you both on board. I look forward to seeing your character sheets. :)

Hey Balth, would just a written appearance for Jason be OK? I can't find a picture that works for him.

I think I get what you mean. However, once we get past the bootcamp phase, she will most likely be the leader of a team with two new graduate trainers. (I don't see her being one of the antagonistic solo characters).

If anything, I see @Zarkun's character going solo before yours. He seems like the type that might not want to lead a team, because they would slow him down or something.

Well, it is a possibility.
<Snipped quote by Zarkun>

To be clear, the only thing I've approved of is the transfer of these six Pokemon:
Gallade
Absol
Garchomp
Kabuto
Skarmory
Lucario

I only saw Latios in your biography, which is a neat touch, but does not apply to this RP. As for your character's own special abilitity. It's going to have to fit in the relm of human possibility. So magically seeing other people's chi is going to have to be dropped or at least changed into something more realistic.

As for Pseudo-Legendaries, I'm using this standard: bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pseud…
Lucario and Absol are not on that list. I wasn't worried about them. Your Garchomp was the one I was debating on.

Right, right, I know. Latias was in the bio. I'll look into what Chi sight normally means in a similar Sci-Fi setting and also, don't blame you on Garchomp. He's a powerhouse.
@Cerces22@Zarkun

Okay, final rulings. LOL

First off, just to make sure @Cerces22, Smeargle isn't in your area. Only these Pokemon are:

  • Caterpie [common]
  • Pidgey [common]
  • Psyduck [rare]

I have no problem with the Smeargle in your character sheet, because you didn't say HOW you saw it. You could have saw it on TV.

As for Pokemon transfers for outside characters. My final ruling is this:
Up to six Pokemon can be transferred, two of which may be Pseudo Legendary. Still no Legendary or Mythical. Transfered Pokemon will be put at Lvl 30.

All this said, @Zarkun your character is approved with all his Pokemon being transfered (minus the Darkrai at the bottom). They will all be level 30, which is possible given their evolutionary requirements.

As for @Cerces22, you can still choose more Pokemon to bring over if you wish, though I know you said you didn't want to do that. Just let me know. Regardless, the Pokemon you transfer over will be at level 30 and be evolved acordingly.

Does all that sound fair? :)

Sounds good. I'm still unclear of the standing of Absol and Lucario as pseudo-legendaries, because Absol can be caught a dozen times in Ruby/Saphire and Lucario has an egg form and can also be caught. So yeah, just confusion you can't really help since it's not your fault XD

I'll be honest though, surprised you didn't ask for more info, like why Latias and why he has a special ability.
<Snipped quote by Zarkun>

As long as your character isn't bringing over any Legendary, Mythical, or Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon, I'm good with it. Also, you have to be okay with the three Pokemon that you do transfer over being downgraded to Lv20.

As far as "What's in Idaho?", here's the current list...
  • Paras [common]
  • Shinx [rare]

Again, this is poor reflection of what will be in that area once I'm done adding all the Pokemon to the Map. I'd say I've only placed about 15% of Pokemon so far.

Oh and @Cerces22, I really hate to do this to you, but you accidently recieved a list that had multiple locations worth of Pokemon... my bad. LOL

Now that I'm done building the RP, my main focus will be to place Pokemon on the map. My goal is to have every Pokemon placed on the map before everyone graduates from the bootcamp.

Well, the primary issue is this character was part of a Story RP, where level wasn't so much the point as skill in writing and just making a good story. Here's the link to the CS:

Read him over, read over his team, THEN tell me what you think.

I also REALLY need a complete list for Idaho. Cause my "Normal World" character is from there.

EDIT: Ignore the alternate for Gaia, again, story over competitive edge.
If I were to join, I has a couple of questions, cause I actually have a Pokemon character, highly experienced trainer, but with some high end Pokemon. I would also like to inquire as to the nature of regions and what has what Pokemon. Of course, I assume you have that handled, but let's say...Idaho. What would I find there?
Damian Gerard|Repairing the Rifts

Damian listened to both his fellow S-Class speak, looking between the two as they made their points. Penny was concerned about how her magic would react to dragons and the islands protections while Mayt was simply concerned about how strong he was against foes like that. Still, he didn't respond to the pair immediately, instead standing and resting a hand of the giant dragon's fang blade as he moves to a window, and if the pair watched it's blade, they would see a purple glow spring up ever so briefly at his touch.

"I understand your concerns and objections. Hell, I'm honestly in agreement that we don't know what could happen when we go there. But if you're wanting to use those as a reason to not go, your excuses need work. I went toe-to-toe with Hyun without magic, sure, but I was raised a soldier, weapon's play and hand-to-hand combat is what I was taught growing up. I spend hours training, practicing, studying just to understand my magic, and that leads to being stronger, sure, but I don't have any answers."

He turned to face the pair, sighing as he did so. "I'm not able to go either, there's a city who's women are being stolen no matter what preventive measures they take. I've put helping them off for far too long. Unless you can give me more reason than 'I don't know what will happen when I go', one of you is going."

Releasing the hilt, he sat down again. "As for the guild, Nolan's the heir to a company who hates mage guilds, Ariel's identity confused, Karn's facing some kind of identity crisis that I can't help him solve because it's stupid complicated in ways I didn't think were possible, you're scared that you're not doing enough, Mayt's hiding something, and Amelia's terrified of what the world will think of her if they knew what she had." He met Penny's gaze evenly. "That knowing what's happening in the guild enough for you Penny?"

James Hunt|A Test of Honor

James followed Cody's finger to the scrap of cloth and looked it over as he approached it, kneeling and pulling it off. "Yeah, it is rather coincidental, but as I've said, no guild has come in months. These jokers pretending to be mages have been operating without fear of being caught." The cloth was blue with black trimming, with part of an insignia on it. The colors caused a brief flash of recognition to pass through the Paladin's eyes, but it vanished as quickly as it came.

It couldn't possibly be them. This is far too small scale, although it is possible that's the point... Still, he wouldn't bring it up without confirmation. As it stood, the tear in the fabric indicated they had gone north, further into the forest and he beckoned Cody to follow him. "Come, let's get this dealt with so that the bridge may finally be finished."
Man, that keeps happening to people.

Tatooine System- Orbit around unnamed planet
1500 shipboard time
Prepping for Combat

The three Venator-Class sat in a geosynchronous orbit over the planet below, fighter wings making their patrols as the insides of the ships were a flurry of activity. Aboard the Resurgence specifically, things were hectic. The infiltration of Jacsen Orro’s prison to retrieve Livanni’s daughter had occurred almost two weeks ago by the shipboard clocks and it had been nothing but preparations since. During the infiltration, the scanners had detected a prison ship en route to a rendezvous and, after sending one of the enlisted women to Paradise to confirm, watched a deal go down between the owners of the prison ship, slavers based on their choice of ship, and the Golden Exchange. They’d been tracking the prison ship since and had confirmed that they had hit two more targets, of some sort at least.

Supreme Commander Jason, however, wasn’t in his office waiting for the latest report on the slaver’s location or their crew strength, or the location of their base. No, he was in the training room, putting their newest squad leader through her paces, Moff Livani’s daughter, now renamed Natasha Giovon, having quite the skill for hand-to-hand combat, bladed weaponry, and blaster pistols, and was a quick study. However, she still wasn’t a match for older and more experienced soldier and, after a three minute bout, found herself pinned for the fifth time. After a moment of struggle, she double tapped the mat to admit defeat. As she picked herself up after Jason had stood, he moved to the sidelines, getting a drink of water. Turning the moff’s daughter against both Jacsen Orro and the Empire hadn’t been hard once he’d shown her both sides of the Empire.

She had admitted to being aware of the bulk of the information the public had access to and knew that a lot of it was...well, false, but she’d had no idea the degree to which their atrocities had gone. For some reason, the mistreatment of the Wookies had angered her the most, though she refused to disclose why. She proceeded to confront her lovetoy about, who swore up and down he’d known nothing right up until she put a blaster bolt through his knee, at which point he admitted to helping keep Wookie Slaves in line when the two of them weren’t together, among other malignant actions. Disgusted, she’d personally sent him out the airlock before her training really began.

“Remind me again what purpose these exercises have? We should be bashing in the doors to the Imperial strongholds, not chasing backwater slavers.” Of course, for all the fire that burned in her, all the hate, she didn’t quite have a deeper understanding of the tactics the Republic Remnant were employing, and so Jason explained it with a sigh.

”Many of the remaining Imperial Moffs, primarily those outside of Orro’s influence, still use slavery as a way to keep their worlds in check, along with surprise raids, inspections, heavy handed policing tactics, the usual. GORT, as we’ve learned they’re called, is a primary supplier of slave labor and slaves to several of these Moffs. You take away the supplier
” The change in Natalie’s expression, while subtle, was there.

“You force them to pull more on local peoples, further destabilizing the region of Hutt Space they control. Eventually the populace will riot, including the conscripts that litter most of the personal armies of these Moffs.” Jason nodded as the pair left the training room and headed for his office.

”Exactly. Eventually, the chaos will grow so badly they will seek help, and either the number of conscripts overruns the Imperial regulars, which would allow us to bait out Orro by their call for help, or the rebelling locals call for help, letting us be heroes. It’s a win-win either way.”

Natasha was silent as the two walked, seeming to ponder his answer. She knew that Supreme Commander Je’and would step in and help if the need arose, but she also knew that he wanted the return of the Republic far too much to risk too many soldiers. “You know, there’s the Star Destroyers the Moffs will have in orbit, along with their TIE squadrons.” Jason nodded thoughtfully.

”True, but you have to remember that they don’t want to risk harm to the citizens loyal to the remains of the Empire. While the majority live in upper class areas patrolled by loyal Stormtroopers, there are enough in the...less prosperous sectors of their cities that they would be forced to fight a ground war against the locals and the conscripts.” The entrance to the War Room appeared, which the door was open and revealed that several squads of Clone Special Forces, Republic Special Forces and Engineering Corps squads, with Commander Hammer briefing them, a schematic for the ship that GORT had been using to transport their prisoners on the holodisplay.

“Think that means we’re ready?” Jason smiled as the two entered and moved to take seats at the front off to the side.

”I do.”
Jason Tiberius Stark

His conversation with his father had been brief and, after he'd assured his dad that he wasn't going to give Barca a free trip into the Exosphere without a space suit, he'd gone off to a relatively secluded area of the main area and, after marking off a blood circle, or area of danger for the uneducated, he drew his sword from it's sheathe and began to work through various forms, starting with some bushido, though the longsword wasn't technically meant for it and slowly moving into more longsword traditional forms of sword forms, including many that the Knights of the medieval era used. He'd been doing so for about ten minutes when he heard the announcement. Bruce Wayne, formerly the Batman of Gotham City... The news had left the Stark Industries heir with lots of things to ponder about the things he'd thought he'd known about Gotham's beloved Dark Knight, starting with why he had used non-lethal takedowns. Granted, the Avengers usually did as well, but when it matter most, the loss of a villain's life wasn't something that weighed particularly heavily on anyone's mind.

Still, as he finished his overhead slash and then sheathed the sword in his hands, turning to join the other students as Smalls finally gave up on getting the Wakandan Princess' attention and ran to his owner, he decided that he wouldn't dwell on it again and simply waited, picking his calico cat up and stroking his ears while he waited. He noticed a man with Naevia when she came over to the group and, without thinking about it, approached the pair. "Who's the...wait a minute. Naevia, is this..." As he'd closed the distance with the pair, the young protégé had been going over who he knew the Wakandan Princess, and the only girl he'd ever had eyes for, would allow to stand close to her like that. There was himself, there was likely to be Barca, if only because she'd want to see if he'd risk his arm and life again, and...her father. Of course, he had only been going over living people, the fact that her brother might not be dead, well, that hadn't occurred to him. "You're Agron, right? Naevia's older brother?"
