@The Omnipotent Sphere, that's a pretty cool map. You may wanna stick to black text only, though. Legibility is more important than aesthetics when it comes to text :P


Did you see the fullsized version? Legibility isn't so much of a problem when it's 6,500 pixels wide (and it's harder to read straight black than white with black borders, so aesthetics weren't my concern at all.)

Why not an orange, then? Pick a color that can stand out among most any other color or shade.

Don't worry, if the full size wasn't super huge I wouldn't have left it like that. To illustrate my point, if you view this zoomed out http://i.imgur.com/OEBuT0t.png the black text would be more legible, but when you magnify over the shattered plains they're both so large that legibility isn't an issue. I appreciate the concern though, I don't have a lot of graphic experience.

Edit: @Kangutso White text with a strong black border is, in my opinion, the most legible on any given background. No solid color would work for every single background, orange would be fine over the Fractal Sea, but would disappear in the Shattered Plains, etc.

Ey guys, so I know everyone is super hype to make Demi-Gods n such, and it's really not within my boundaries to ask this: but could everyone wait until Lifprasil is born? I was expecting his CS authorization and all the posts that need to add up before he's created to be faster; so being the first Demi is kind of imbued into his character. Everything is just being slow about him right now.

If not that's fine tho and I totally understand <3


I don't think you will have too much trouble becoming the first Demigod.

I know all these text-heavy posts feel like they're leaving you behind and adding to the stress, but the post I just kicked in has been in the works since before this message was up, and I feel like I've spent so much time on the ugly bastard that I can't bear to keep it to myself any more. Hope you don't mind? It doesn't interact very closely with Lifprasil's parents.

If I have to lay my eyes upon this awful word dump, so does everyone else, damnit, if only for long enough to skim the thing and find any relevant details.

On another note, I've been thinking for a while now to give Ull the gender change ticket. Will even out the male-female gender ratio a little and won't be so awkward when creating demigods XD

Right now it's 14-6 in favour of male gods :)

I don't see why that's necessary. There is no 'reproduction' or 'fertility' domain, so gods can basically do what they want when it comes to procreating. A bunch of the character sheets state that gender is merely aesthetic or for the sake of better comprehension anyway.

I hope you're not counting Slough as an eligible female god. I mean, there's precedence for male gods and horses, but getting flirty with Slough would be like a 2-for-1 bestiality and necrophilia. Yeesh. I regret writing that, but I might as well post it.

@VecYour god, so feel free to go ahead if you want to. But don't do it because you want to aid with demigods -- as Lugubrious said, we're gods. Sex doesn't matter for sex, if you understand me.

@Lugubrious2-for-1 bestiality and necrophilia sounds like your standard god's idea of a good time, to be fair.

Plus, when you compare it to something like Jvan...
