So... As far as I can see, the only way for the Machina to beat Lethe is with artillery level alpha strike saturation "we-can't-be-fooled-by-illusions-if-we-hit-everything" or with an angel (which they have one, conveniently!), without losing warriors to "forget yourself magic".

Torag would probably destroy whatever prison he ends up in, or choke out Victoire when she gets kinky. Marquis' certainly valid, robot needs social interaction.

You guys think harpies as a whole align with Heaven? I've seen merfolk and dwarves assist them, so an air-based race would fit well.
