There is no limit. The only limit is the finite number of swords.

@TheWindel
My input - My favorite anime is Cory in the House Ouran High School Host Club. I feel so bad watching it but it's great.

Come on now. You are truly a tiny whelping if you aren't even briefly aware of a common technique to rectify that so called "Limit" regarding swords. Must I remind you of it's hymn?

That's a bit much, even for this setting.

Why not just cause a rain of swords at that point.

Because that's Henry's shtick you copycat.

That's a text-to-speech reference, isn't it?

@Banana
If you want powerful uses of plants, I have a couple of suggestions.

Airborn moss spores which rapidly grow when inhaled, filling up the lungs and internal organs of the victims while draining them of blood and power.

Trees that naturally produce nitroglycerine berries, and are capable of launching dozens of those berries by shaking their branches.

Mushrooms that explode into a cloud of acidic gas when anyone gets too close, dotted around the battlefield like mines.

You don't need to control the powers of others when you can make up your own. With something as general as 'control over plants' you can take any ability any real-life plant has, and then exaggerate it immensely, with the excuse that Hell Magic or Machina Tech made it extra-badass. And with real life plants like the Doki Doki tree there's plenty of stuff to draw on.

Oh and if Victoire's roses are annoying just create a grapevine-like plant that latches onto the flowers and drains them of blood. As they require blood to function this would cause them to rapidly wither. Pretty sure the same trick would work on Helena.

After this battle, there will be botany done.

@Lucius Cypher
There's an infinite number in the nexus, especially with Silver Eyes, so you could rain swords.

Coincidentally everyone's getting an upgrade after this battle. So go nuts with botany.

I HAVE GM PERMISSION, SO ITS TIME TO REALLY TAKE THINGS UP A NOTCH.

Opening the notepad so I can think of some ideas.

edit: It's only been about 13 minutes and I already have like 8 plants.

By the way, I've finally reached a decision about what Eos will do with this influx of people into her faction. I hope you like what I have planned, I'll reveal it as soon as this battle ends.

Now, go "kill" Helena. I really don't want this to last more than a week, at most two. There's no need to over extend this much.

Alright, my turn to ask these questions. How effective will Wolf's abilities be here? Obviously he's going to try Disruption on Helena, but he may also try to dispell the room entirely to try and wipe away whatever crazy nothing magic she's got going on. Would any of these do much or does Helena fall into the category of "too power for that shit"?

Hmm, now that Helena is toning down her power to slightly above the level everyone else is, he can counter some of her moves. However, he can't dispel the arena's effect, that would make the fight pointless. But if she uses any other attacks besides that, and she'll, you can feel free to dispel them.

The DoT effect remains, anything else (except for the effect of the clock finishing its countdown) is ok to dispel. Is that alright?

PS: I hope that you guys are aware that I'm replying to this OOC to avoid confusion and more pointless arguments. This is by no means a green light for you all to behave metagame-y and have your characters know what will happen when they interact with Helena.

Remember this.

That works. I assumed he wouldn't be able to wipe the room but figured I'd ask now instead of find out after the battle it was an option. Now what about using disruption on her? Someone with her power level probably couldn't be cut off fully from her magic, but it might reduce what she can do?

That's ok. Likely the best way to end this battle faster.

I hate asking questions.

Can BS stick a sword in Helena? She did just teleport behind him and announce her presence.

He can attack her, yes. But she didn't teleport, read the post.

Also, I'm not saying you can auto hit her, mind you.

Listen. I know she didn't teleport now that you've reminded me.

But that doesn't mean that she pretty much didn't.

Also, terrain manipulation will be fun.

PS: I've edited a bit on my post since I noticed I did a slight mistake there at the end. I changed Helena's attack's description so that she didn't autohit the trees.

Just making it clear now.

It's pretty much teleportation. I'm 90% sure that "abusing the minds of the enemy to move around" isn't, but since I already know all of my attacks will never land and do anything, I'm just going for broke.

There is a clear distinction being made for the purpose of deducing a method to overcome Helena's defense. By stating what it is not is meant to make matters easier for RPers to deduce by eliminating false leads. However, what you choose to consider it as in practice is ultimately your decision and if Brute Force is what you desire, have at it.
