-Thalen Cairn-

The old smuggler ship "The Krayt Mother" got out of hyperspace in the pirate infested sector of space. It would´ve been easier to just go around it but the client wanted his case on Felucia as soon as possible.

With the ship out of hyperspace and its stealth module activated so it wouldn’t be seen by any less advanced radar. The crew would now have to navigate through the sector of space without relying on the hyperdrive or risk getting snared up by the pirates that ruled this sector of space. What would be ideal would be to catch a lone pirate ship and hijack it, grabbing any maps, coordinates and co frequencies so they’d be able to get through the sector without having to run into any pirates…or use the opportunity to catch the leader of this army of pirates. It was said that he held quite the bounty on his villainous head.
Thalen was sitting in his captain’s chair, watching the stars pass by as the Krayt Mother flew across the empty void of space. The red zabrak watched the consoles on the ship and especially the radar. He had set it to detect any energy source from a ship or something similar and from what he could see; there was a single blimp on the screen not too far. Not within eyesight but it was there. It wasn’t moving at the moment but it was operational by the readings.
“Crew of the Krayt Mother, Welcome to one of the most pirate infested sector in the known galaxy. We here at Krayt mother express wish you all a nice trip. In fact, not too far we have a corvette sized ship in range of our radar” Thalen said in the ship’s com system which sent his voice through each of the three floors of the ship, making sure that everyone on it would hear what the captain said from the cockpit. “The captain thinks that they might need some help relieving some of their data from their systems. Shall we go and help them?” He asked everyone in the ship.

-Haklo Varien-

It was a dark dawn for the Jedi on Coruscant. The last of the flames were doused from the sudden Sith attack that has so devastated the temple. They had come in a lightning like flash and deafening boom and the next thing the Jedi knew was that instead of just one sith infiltrator there were over two dozen and all of them had ignited lightsabers. The battle was quick and brutal with the favor being with the Sith. They were strong in the force, very strong. The Jedi suspected that the Sith might have been powered up by Sith Alchemy. By the time the Sith had drawn back from the attack, vanishing as fast as they had appeared, they had slain about twenty Jedi and injured many more. Worst of all, they had abducted three key members of the Jedi council, including the Grand Master. They were master Veerla, Kel’dor male who was known for his expertise with a Lightsaber, Kor’Dun the Twi’lek master who is known for his calm and strategic mind and then the grand master, Master Skara, a venerable little green man who is said to be a Master’s master. And the Sith had abducted them all. Despite the Jedi’s best efforts, they have still not found their locations through the force.

A meeting was then called and every Jedi with the rank of Knight or higher was to be to be in the main hall. There, the rest of the Jedi council was gathered before a small round table with pieces of a strange device that had been discovered by investigators.

“We have called you here because we have gotten a lead on the Sith attack” Said Master Chuun, a Cathar male of impressive build and had an air of authorotiy. “We believe that the device here is the thing that gave the Sith the means to invade with such ease, a teleporter beacon. This proves that the Sith have gotten developed a secret weapon and this was their demonstration of this device. We have determined that this device was developed by kaminoan scientists. Currently, Kamino states it’s neutrality though we believe that it might not be the case. Either Kamino is now under Empire control or this was the creation of just a group of renegades. Either way, we cannot let this go unanswered. A team of Jedi shall be chosen to go to Kamino and find out the true events of this device and where to strike the Sith” The master said, looking over at all the Jedi. One of which was Jedi Knight Haklo Varien, an ambitious but kind hearted man very skilled in the ways of the force and lightsaber combat. He, among many others of the Jedi, was angry and afraid of the Sith after the attack. One of the Council members was also his own master which he had viewed as a sort of surrogate uncle at times. He wished to be among those who were to take part of this mission and find out where the Sith were located.

-Traya Kree-

Traya Kree walked through the halls of Naboo with an air of confidence and mischief. She was one of Darth Scorn’s personal spies and guard and she had her own estate in the beautiful planet of Naboo. She was practically royalty there. Now though, she was to lay off her easy living and come to the main hangar in the royal palace. Despite that, she insisted on wearing her best, a velvet dress with a deep V neck and a split all the way up to her thigh; integrate patterns of a rare flower native to Naboo. The Sith from Operation Harbinger were returning from dealing a fatal blow to the Jedi. She thought to herself how many of their puny Council the Sith had abducted.

Servants went out of their way to get out her way as she approached the hangar blast doors. They opened as she approached and she was greeted with the sight of nearly two platoons of red plated imperial troopers, all standing in formation as two Sith transports landed. She also saw Darth Scorn with his two personal guards, each a Sith and each despicable creep, but deadly. Traya made her way to a good spot it he hangar and watched as the transports landed and the Sith heroes depart from it.

as the Krayt Mother flew through the dark of space a lone corvette sized ship lay adrift, it's exterior was severely damaged and debris floated around it their was no power to the ship, all lights were off which would make it hard to spot, and so were life support systems, the hanger doors to the ship were blown open, and inside the hanger was a fighter, brightly coloured and damaged with burn marks from laser fire, but still operational, the inside of the ship was littered with bodies that floated in the air, for the artificial gravity was off, as well as the environmental controls, there was no air on the ship except in one room, the bridge where the captain and a few crew members remained in silence with the doors closed and locked with blasters aimed at it, down the hall from the bridge was a large mechanical figure which was limping it's was to the door, it it's right hand it held a weapon that glowed orange, the figure was badly damaged, it's body was full of burn marks and sparks flickered every now and then as it made it's was to the bridge

Kassad Ordo, aka Havok
Kassad Ordo, or better known as Havok to anyone who came into contact with him, suited up in his room, pulling on his not so standard commando armor. The armor was bulky especially on his towering frame, it added an extra six inches to him and an extra three hundred pounds, almost literally making him a walking tank. the armor, some of the best made for republic officers, was given a bountiful amount of upgrades to minimize dexterity loss. He pulled the gloves, pauldrons, boots and chestplate onto his body, hiking up the armored pants and pulling his trusty rifle, survival pistol, combat knife, and vibrosword onto him. He looked every bit the prverbial tank his clientele wished for...or his Captain at this point, with one last weapons check, and systems check he walks out of his room and onto the bridge. "Aye, captain." He says through his comm, "We should get what we can and fast." He says He didn't like these parts, too many corvettes like this one were also brimming with pirates and weaponry....nomrally enough of either to either swarm or obliterate a ship this size.
Xavier Dimitriaski
The Miraluka was still groggy from the battle, he was used to vigorous combat, got by the force were those sith powerful, the remaining masters were no doubt right, some form of sith alchemy must have been used on them to bolster their strength and power. He looked around, the shimmering forms of many jedi around him, but to all of their dismay the grandmaster and so many others were captured in the battle. Xavier felt it was his fault, despite not having any need to if he had only looked up to see the dark vortex that was the "harbinger" of these sith he could've stopped this. He, like all miraluka, can see force energies, the energy surrounding a jedi or sith was powerful, extremely so. Either as bright as the sun or as dark as the midnight sky. He remembered the first time he looked upon the temple now, and remembered the glow from so many jedi, some of them now dead, or injured due to these Sith...and it was his fault. He was their combat instructor, one of the best despite his younger age, and even he had been pushed back by the sith attack. He waited patiently for Master Chuun to finish his speech, he then rose to his feet, standing proud and ready "Master Chuun I shall go as well." He says his voice firm his hands on his lightsaber hilts, he wanted these Sith to pay for their crimes, and learning about this device was the first step. He stood waiting for the master's reply.

Nihlus Dragamoor
Nihlus was one of the many who had gone to the jedi temple to torment those weak pacifists, he had a smile on underneath his deathly skeletal mask, he was also one of the few...if maybe even the only true sith in this empire. He didn't mind, his past prejudices were laid aside, afterall apparently it was a human four hundred years ago that gave birth to the greatest empire this system ever knew. He looked to the others, they either stared or turned their heads, he however always stood proud, his deep crimson skin a mark of pride, his almost glowing yellow eyes and his regal demeanor all due t his superior upbringing, some of these sith around him would easily have been slaveborn...some not even worthy to be called sith, and this darth he sneered inside his helmet at the thought of the man, how he wished to show the man the true power of one who would have held the title if not for two upstarts. His sneer turned to a scowl he should not remember those two, they are but distant memories of his long forgotten past, of a forgotten cold war that easily spiraled out of control of the two governments at it's helm. He was woozy from the alchemy, and when they finally touched down on Naboo he was unsteay but walked with pride towards the sith and soldiers waiting for their triumphant return.

Antak stood in his room on the ship staring out a window on the side. His eyes scanning the exterior, the dark corners of space that flew by as the ship cruised through the void of space. This was pirate territory, dangerous space indeed. He wasn't afraid of what might lay among the stars in this sector, he was more anxious. Partly due to what battles would lay ahead, the other part was just that he didn't like working with other bounty hunters. If he learned anything from his years of bounty hunting, it's that they all put money ahead of everything else and wouldn't hesitant to put themselves ahead of another hunter He would work with the others, just he would pay attention to his own back.

He closed his eyes as he heard the captain of the vessel speak on the intercom, trying to 'rally the troops' like the bounty hunters on this ship were an army. Antak himself didn't need to be rallied, he was fully prepared for whatever they would face. He turned away from the window as he opened his eyes, walking towards the door out of his room. Before he exited, he grabbed his weaponry, and slid it into the appropriate places on his armor. He opened the door and exited the room, heading towards the bridge of the Krayt Mother.

Serana grinned at the message Thalen spoke through the intercom. "Aw yeah! Let's get this party started!" She exclaimed happily, then took over the intercom.

"Dear passengers, this is your co-pilot. For 'helping' out this other ship, let me remind you to take along the basic things everyone needs in a situation like this.
Here goes: Armor, weapons, It's the best thing for both of us if you take both a melee weapon and a long range weapon with you, it gives us more chance to eat cake afterwards.
Perhaps a bit of spare food, an oxygen mask, or a whatever-the-hell-you-breathe-mask. Furthermore you will need your instincts, a bit of fighting technique, brains or whatever-you-have-in-your-body-that-acts-as-brains, most likely a bit of smarts, which is included in the brains part though not all brains include that, confetti, a piece of cake which will be available in the galley.
Also, it would be advised that you protect any loose hanging genitals with armor or take them off and leave them here. Just to be on the safe side, I'm not gonna take care of that stuff."
Serana said.

"Oh, don't forget the confetti and make sure you all have some pink dye and a paintbrush on you for if I run out." She added as an afterthought, then sat back and gave Thalen an innocent, happy smile.
I underlined words that are of any importance other than randomness in this post :)

onboard the drifting corvette in the bridge the captain and his remaining crew held their aim at the door, a few minutes passed by
"c....captain, ya sure it's still here?, maybe it was scrapped..." one suggested, right before there was a loud bang on the door, followed by another, with each one that followed the door became dented, the captain looked to the one who made the suggestion
.
Does that sound Scrapped to ya!? keep yer yap shut and mask on, it's about to get a lot less airy in here.." the captain said as he looked at the door
.
"that was an awful pun..." one said to the captain
.
"ya I know..." the captain said before the door was kicked in, the remaining air in the room was sucked out, one of the crew members was as well, he got his head smashed against the door of the way out, killing him, after the air had been vented, a large robotic figure stepped into the room
.
"YOU HAVE ENGAGED IN HOSTILE ACTIONS TOWARDS ME, YOU HAVE NO REASON BEHIND IT, YOU HAVE BEEN DEEMED AS A THREAT, YOU SHALL BE TERMINATED" the being said as it raised it's weapon and opened fire, the pirates fired back, but with the fear inside them their aim was poor, the being was barely hit as it systematically took down each target before aiming at the captain, the captain took out a blaster pistol and fired at the beings head, the shot just missed and the being shot the captain in the chest, killing him
"I CLAIM THIS VESSEL AND IT'S CONTENTS" the being said as it began to make it's way to the repair bay to fix itself

The Pirate Vessel, A Little Earlier
As the alarms sounded, announcing the damage to the vessel and loss of air to the void of space, one individual didn't head immediately towards the commotion. Clad in an outfit mostly of midnight blue and with a deep hood shadowing her face, Talia Wei'Liret (or Twilight as she had let herself be known to the crew) maintained a purposeful stride, though quickened her pace, as she made her way to the cargo hold, careful to lock the door after her. She'd been assigned to taking inventory of the haul gained from a successful raid some hours prior, an opportunity she had long been waiting for. It was the ideal moment to complete her mission, and she wasn't about to let an unexpected attack ruin it! The tranquil disposition native to her race served her well as the first thing she was careful to acquire upon making it to the hold was one of the space-suits stored in lockers scattered strategically throughout the vessel, should a hull breach or some similar misfortune befall it. Donning the suit, she opened the comm to the frequencies used by these particular pirates, to keep an ear open to events as they progressed, conducting a careful inspection of the contents of the hold at the same time and recollecting the events that led her to be here now...

Almost two months prior, Talia had been contacted in her capacity as an Information Hound by a wealthy businessman in a considerable state of anxiety. One of his cargo vessels had been raided by pirates, incurring considerable damage. That though was a secondary issue next to his primary concern: The vessel had contained documents pertaining to several other branches of his business, the ships they used and the nature of the cargoes they commonly transported. Further, the documents had contained the blueprints for several new experimental weapons systems that his business was developing. Since those documents were not to be found anywhere aboard the vessel after the raid, they must now be in the hands of those pirates. The notion of the pirates using those documents and the harm they could potentially become capable of as a result was unthinkable- the documents had to be recovered. Talia had needed little persuasion to accept the job- the tension between Jedi and Sith was bad enough, with the conflict allowing the practices of piracy and smuggling to flourish. The last thing they needed was one group of pirates acquring deadly new weapons and becoming the next major threat to be added to an already bloody war. It had taken considerable research, involving interviewing the crew of the ship, reviewing the shipping schedule and the route taken and visits to several knowledgeable individuals in places of ill-repute to piece together precisely which pirate vessel and crew had been behind the attack. It had been even more challenging to find a suitable crew-member to persuade the others to take her on as one of their number, but Talia liked to think she'd played the part very convincingly... well, that and a little mind-tricking of course. From then until the present time, she'd been doing the grunt-work expected of a rookie, but it had given her an opportunity to observe the way the pirates worked, allowing her to learn one very useful piece of information about them: This particular crew tended to dump all their plunder in the hold and inventory it at a later date. The odds were, therefore, that they didn't know or didn't realise the nature of the documents they'd siezed, and so hadn't put them to use yet. Her musings were interrupted as a voice came over her comm.

"Twilight, report!" She recognised the voice as the captain's. He sounded a deal less confident than usual as he barked orders to her. "We've a- well dammned if I know what- rampaging through the ship and I need all hands on deck! Where the hell are you?" Talia took a moment, weighing her words, before answering. "Cargo hold captain," she answered, "when we lost the integrity of the ship's atmosphere I got a suit from the lockers, but one of the doors has malfunctioned," she was careful to scramble the circuits of the door even as she said the words, "so I'll have to detour and back-track before I can join you on the bridge. I'm on open comm though, so I can hear everything that's going on". There was sound on the other end that could have been static or blaster-fire, before the captain spoke again. "Try not to be all year about it," he said in clipped tones, "you're dammned good with blaster or vibro-blades and I'd prefer I had as many as can shoot straight up here". Talia swept her gaze over the cargo hold even as she made her reply, "understood captain- I'll be there a soon as I can," she assured him. That done she made her way through the hold, scrutinising everything. A lot of droid replacement parts, weapons crates, something that looked suspiciously like a shipment of spice... ah. There. An unobtrusive looking little data-file, but one with company's distinctive logo emblazoned upon it. Talia picked it up and inspected it meticulously. It showed no signs of damage, nor of recent handling. Apparently it had just been shelved for use whenever the pirates remembered they had it or realised what it was. Talia discreetly stored the device in a pocket on the suit, before giving consideration to her next steps.

She had what she'd come for now, and with the ship under attack, now might be a good time to leave. On the other hand, if she attempted to use an escape pod, she would not only be seen by the rest of the crew to be jumping ship, whoever their assailant was might notice as well and come after her. Even if that didn't happen, there was the potential threat of other pirates in the area to consider. Immediate evacuation was not a positive prospect. Perhaps though, if she were to take the maps showing locations where the pirates had ambushes ready and waiting and a list of all the communication frequencies they used, maybe that would give her a bargaining-chip, something to buy her way off this vessel with? If she wasn't shot on sight by the invader, or couldn't reason with them, it was something worth considering. This decided upon, she made her way back to the bridge.

Bridge of the Pirate Vessel, Present Time
Talia warily looked up from her hiding-place, presenting a minimal taget, as the droid- for so it seemed to be- began to make its way elsewhere. She wasn't certain whether, in its damaged condition, its sensors had failed to detect her, or if it simply considered her no threat. If the latter she was in luck; she had no argument with it, and would be happy to insure the feeling was mutual. If not... Talia ran the past few minutes through her head again. When she'd arrived on the bridge, the droid had already been making its approach. Under the pretence of making sure the invader at least couldn't catch others of their number at unawares Talia had- with the captain's wholehearted approval- wiped every trace of the maps and communications frequencies from the ship's memory-banks; after taking a copy for herself. Now she simply needed to abandon the vessel. She rolled her eyes at that though; there was likely to be nothing simple about it. After the droid exited the bridge Talia waited a few moments, before starting to cross the room to the door, when a beeping from one of the instruments panels attracted her attention. A proximity warning: There was another vessel approaching and, from what she could tell, not another pirate vessel. Her face took on a contemplative expression. Well, this development could be interesting...

as the large being made it's way down the hall, a sound silently echoed down it towards it, the being stopped and turned to look back, with a droning sound it tried to decide what would be more important, to repair itself, or check to see if there was a threat heading towards it, the being stood there for a few seconds, if it was a threat, it would be a waste of time to go see if it was, so it would be better to repair itself then check it out, with this in mind the being made another droning sound before it returned it's view down the corridor that led to the repair bay, when it got there the doors were jammed, the being reeled back it's right arm and punched a hole in the middle of the door, it then pried the door open before heading to a repair droid that was still operational
"I REQUIRE REPAIRS IMMEDIATELY" the being droned out to the repair droid, it's response was nothing more the a few bleeps and bloops, the large being then climbed up onto a table and lied down, the repair droid then began fixing it

The captain’s voice echoing through Cargo Bay A brought a cloaked figure out of his deep slumber and back to life. The man had set up a makeshift hammock out of cargo netting between two massive crates in the bay, for there was little room elsewhere in the ship that allowed some sense of privacy. The rugged warrior stood from his bed and carefully slipped into his form-fitting bodyglove, fused to which was a mismatched set of rusted durasteel armor. One shoulder pauldron, two scarred vambraces, a chest plate cracked in half at a 45-degree angle, ragged greaves all gave the set an extremely makeshift and worn appearance. He then covered the unoccupied slots between armor plates with tan rags, ensuring none of the scarred tan skin beneath was exposed, before finally strapping his bandolier on. The luxury of privacy was one the tusken missed. In his tribe, each member was assigned their own tent to live in with their mate, and the punishment for seeing anyone else unrobed was death. Strangely, on this ship the crew were herded together like bantha in the same confined rooms. Even now, the raider had difficulties exposing his face to others, the old habits and rituals refusing to die within him. He did miss the desert planet and all its harshness. The two burning suns drilling into his robes, banthas trotting through the sweeping sands and dunes. Even the constant threat of krayt dragons would be welcome over the cold vacuum of space. Mrak couldn’t help but ask himself why he was in this cramped, alien ship.

Sre'vkk'lak heard another voice over the intercom as he checked his weapons, a feminine one he knew all too well that reminded him of why he was aboard the Krayt Mother. Her name was Serana, a zeltron who saved his life in quite possibly the most embarrassing manner possibly, especially for a warrior such as Mrak. The tusken had just arrived in the lower, very undesirable levels of Coruscant searching for work, but instead stumbled upon a crew of Chiss eying what few possessions he had and speaking in a language foreign to him. The ignorant raider believed them to be asking for a worker right up to the point where they pressed a blaster to his forehead. In a flash of pink, the Chiss were blinded by what looked to be glittering confetti. Mrak’s new scantily-clad companion managed to ward off his assailants, and if he were not demanded to repay the woman by Tusken law with a life debt, he surely would have killed himself in shame. Now, indebted to this zeltron, Mrak was obligated to pledge his life to protecting and looking after his savior, even if it meant sacrificing his own life. The tusken’s quest to find his place in the universe was momentarily on hold, to say the least.

At the mere mention of confetti, the warrior cringed. He finished gathering his belongings and tied a slender tan cloth over his ruined right eye that was permanently shut. Mrak ran a gloved hand across the wound and asked himself whether the prize was worth it, but feeling the Krayt pearl in his pocket, he knew it was. Mrak left Cargo Hold A and walked down the stairwell to the center deck, where the bridge was located. Passing a few bounty hunters, the raider made his way to the cockpit, where Captain Thalen Carin stood, along with Serana. Despite their label as smugglers, bounty hunters, or whatever other unsavory name bestowed upon them, Mrak knew they were not bad people. While his Force capabilities weren’t the greatest, he was capable of reaching out and sensing other’s intentions, and he could tell that neither of them were inherently evil, but simply people trying to get by. If he sensed otherwise, Mrak would have refused to serve aboard the ship. While he stopped between the two crew members, the raider almost protectively stood closer to Serana similar to how a bodyguard would behave. “I don’t see why not,” he replied roughly to the captain’s question, though it was asked quite awhile ago. The tusken shivered and crossed his arms, his body still not acclimated to the cool temperature of the ship. He was never one for words, even by silent tusken standards.

Serana had put on her armor except for the helmet which she held under her arm. The Zeltron had her usual happy grin on her face which widened when she saw Mrak. She had named him Scruffy after managing to nag enough for him to show his face. She shifted her weight a couple times as if impatient, pushing Thalen and 'Scruffy' around a bit as she did by bumping into them.

"Where the heck is the rest?" She asked Thalen. "Is your authority level so bad that no one deems you worth enough to actually get off their lazy asses and get said asses over here?" She then grinned widely and hid behind her buddy, hoping to get a reaction out of Thalen though at the same time just wanting a piggyback ride. She climbed onto Mrak whether he wanted it or not.

She then seemingly pulled cake out of nowhere though it had just been on a shelf above them since she baked cake way too often to Thalen's liking and put those cakes all over the place along with the pink dye she kept buying in places. "Hey Scruffy, would you like some cake?" She asked in what she deemed a cute way.

Captain Thalen Cairn got his gear ready. His armor, his blaster rifle, his pistol that he slipped into a shoulder rig. After slipping into a trench coat and placing his helmet on he was ready to face the crew. His pet, a large but sleek vornskr patted around the mid level of the Krayt Mother, growling at those who were seemingly force-sensitive but did not do anything about it.

"I am fine. And you should stop baking cakes. You'll exhaust our supplies within a week if this escalates." He said to Serana and went to approach the other crewmembers.

"As I said before, there is a pirate corvette not too far. The scanners say that they have yet to see us. What we need to do is to..." he started but was suddenly inturrupted by the frantic beeps and boops of the Krayt Mother's astromech which Thalen had simply named Rusty due to the rust colored exterior. He listened to the frantic beeping and then turned to face the crew again. "Well...nevermind then. Further scans show that they corvette is severly damaged so I highly doubt that we'll need to disable any systems so far and just have to board them. You all get ready. Arm yourself with any close range weapons and stun grenades if you got them" He said to them and went back to the cockpit to pilot the ship to the corvette.

The corvette did not respond to the approaching transport so boarding the pirate vessel. Once the Krayt mother was secure to the pirate vessel, Thalen got at the blast doors that linked the two ships and placed a powerpack into his rifle, hearing a satisfied hum of power for a moment. "Alright, here's the plan. The data is the priority. No unnecessary lethal force. Once we get the data we take a detour to their cargo hold for any loot that they possess that we might make a profit out of. Now activate your rebreathers and let's go" He said to the crew and opened up the blast doors and walked across the small insulated ramp that connected the two ships and boarded the pirate corvette. Rusty was coming with as well as he would be the one hacking and storing the data. He wasn't defenseless either. one of his compartments was armed with a heavy blaster pistol with a stun function as well.

havok, un-slung his rifle from his shoulder and stood by the airlock he was ready for anything, why he didn't know. There was no one aboard anymore, the damage was visible as they got closer, he noticed a lot of the blasted open hull, the weapons used were high end, the corvette had decent armor and shields, breaking through would've been a hard task, and the crew itself, even surprised would've put up a fight even mandos would be proud of. He commed Thalen "Sir I would exercise caution when we get aboard, despite the damage and everything we may still have pockets of pirate resistance in certain areas. I will head on in first when we board as my armor can take the most hits from anything one would use aboard a vessel." He says, still feeling uneasy, but he didn't say anything, the haul was too good to let his instincts tell him to persuade Thalen to leave...hell his instincts may just be telling him that they're going to have to work for their loot, something that made the young mandalorian smile with delight.

as the repair droid finished, the large beings eye's turned on in a flash of orange, It got of the table and it's feet magnetised to the floor, it looked to the repair drone with a nod before leaving the room, it equipped it orange glowing weapon and pushed a button that made the gun let lout a low hum, the large being made it's way down the hall way when it heard the sound the sound of something latching onto the ship, he felt it to, he looked towards the hall that led to the bridge then to the one that led to the direction the sound came from, the being made a mechanical his before if decided to go to the bridge, it would check out the sound later, loud thudding metal foot steps could be hear closing in on the bridge

Bridge of the Pirate Vessel, Present time
Talia watched the instrument panels- those that still functioned- as the new arrival made its approach. It wasn't a vessel that she recognised as belonging to any of the pirates in this sector of space; a fact confirmed by virtue of their not hailing a companion vessel on the necessary frequencies- or indeed, at all. Given the type of vessel and the actions of those aboard it, Talia guessed they were smugglers exploiting a golden opportunity: A pirate ship this heavily damaged would likely have no-one aboard who could offer resistance; making now an ideal time to take some loot for themselves- and to take the maps and codes needed for safe passafge through the area. Talia smiled a small smile to herself; this might be a golden opportunity for her as well. It might come as a surprise to the smugglers to find no trace of maps or communication frequencies aboard, but once they learned that she knew them, she'd become an individual of surprising value to them. Talia turned her head as she abruptly heard thudding, mechanical footsteps in the hallway. Speaking of surprising...

She rose from her seat, taking a quick peek down the hallway before just as quickly pulling her head back. The droid had evidently used the repair bay. It was fully functional again and headed this way. It had openly announced an intention to claim both vessel and cargo. Looked like she wasn't the only surprise the smugglers would encounter. She thought for a moment. There was little point in attempting to hide on the bridge. The droid seemed to be a cutting-edge military model; it was only a matter of time until it found her. Fightining it was pointless; even though she had blasters at her belt and vibro-blades too, with a space-suit on, she couldn't bring her tail or wings into play, and her lightsaber was tucked inside her tunic, under the space-suit. Even if the droid weren't formidable, even if she weren't able to bring all her abilities to bear, there was no essential argument between her and the droid, whether the droid shared that opinion or not. It was the pirates who had attacked it; not her. On the heels of that thought came another. A droid as sophisticated as this one more than likely had a memory-playback system, in order to review previous battles, analyse the attack-patterns of opponents and adapt and learn accordingly. If so, it could determine from those memories, that footage, that she was no threat. The best course of action then, might be to remain in the open and let it find her, not hiding, but not attacking or threatening either. It was risky, but it might be worth it.

Her decision made, Talia took another seat, not the captain's chair but one where, nevertheless, the droid would be certain to see her, even before it arrived on the bridge. she kept her hands in plain view, away from the weapons at her belt and waited for the droid to arrive, to see what action it would take when met with a non-threatening life-form.

the thudding got louder as the large being got closer, something caught it's attention as it closed it's distance to the door to the bridge, it was picking up a heat signature from inside. The being readied its weapon and aimed it at the door as it got closer, it moved with upmost caution as it rounded the corner, even before it seen the being inside it knew where it was. The large being slowly stepped into the doorway looking into the room, it's eye's landing on Talia, the machine aimed its weapon at her, it made a charging sound but it didn't fire.

The machine stood still, not doing anything for a few seconds, it took note of her weapons, she could have grabbed them and opened fire the second she seen him, but she didn't, the machine still held still, then it took a single step forward, its foot making a thud on the metal floor before it spoke in an intimidating, loud droning tone
"RELINQUISH YOUR WEAPONS"
it demanded as it motioned towards them with it's weapon before aiming back at her middle
"IF YOU SHOW ANY SIGHS OF HOSTILITY YOU WILL BE FIRED UPON"
it warned her as it slightly adjusted it's stance, its glowing orange eye's staring into her own

OOC: Apologies for late response; uni work is picking up the pace again ^^;!

Bridge of the Pirate Vessel:
Talia kept her eyes on the droid as it aimed the weapon it held at her and heard the hum as it charged up. Perhaps she'd miscalculated with regard to the nature of the droid? Perhaps it was programmed for indiscriminate slaughter, regardless of threat presented? That line of thought however, was soon disproven as the droid held still, not firing upon her but not relaxing its guard an inch either. Talia estimated that it was likely running differening scenarios, calculating the probability of each possible outcome, to determine its next course of action. It had clearly seen that she was armed, yet it also just as clearly had realised that she hadn't drawn her weapons when she had the opportunity and that she was seated in a position that made her an easy target for it. Her musings as to what the outcome of that might be were ended when the droid took a single step forwards and spoke.

"RELINQUISH YOUR WEAPONS," it demanded as it motioned towards them with it's weapon before aiming back at her middle. "IF YOU SHOW ANY SIGNS OF HOSTILITY YOU WILL BE FIRED UPON," it warned her as it slightly adjusted it's stance, its glowing orange eye's staring into her own. Talia kept her golden eyes locked to the droid's orange ones, before slowly moving her hands, making sure that the droid could easily keep track of her movements, as she unfastened the weapons from the belt of the space-suit and dropped them at her feet.

"I have not, in the entire time you have been aboard this vessel, shown you any hostility whatsover," she replied in tranquil tones, "or even before that, for that matter. It was the crew of this vessel- a group of pirates- who made the ill advised decision to fire upon you. However, you need not take my word for it. I don't doubt that you're perfectly capable of playing back the memories you have of the battles aboard this ship and keeping me in your sights. Take a look and see if I ever once made any hostile move towards you". Having said that, Talia watched the droid carefully. Though neither of them broke eye contact as an instrument panel beeped again, the sound did remind Talia that there were others aboard the vessel and she addressed the droid again.

"Whatever your estimation of me," she said, still keeping her voice calm and even, "you should know that there are now others besides us aboard this ship. Given the sector of space we are in, the type of ship they arrived in and the manner of their approach, I would say that they are smugglers. They aren't here to help any survivors aboard this vessel, but to help themselves; primarily to information such as star-charts and communication frequencies, and also to anything in the ship's hold that catches their eye. Again, you need not take my word for it," she added as she slowly, clearly gestured in the direction of the instrument panel, "the instruments that will tell you what you need to know- the ones that are still functional- are over there. As you can see for yourself, you can easily move to check those instruments and keep me in your sights. If anything I have said proves false you are, of course, entirely at liberty to shoot me whenever you will. If all I have said bears out however, you might wish to consider that I am presently the one life-form aboard this vessel you know for certain poses you no threat and wishes you no harm".
