It seemed that there was no reason not to accept... and in all honesty, being supported by the government like this was a step up from having to start over from scratch again. Not that she particularly cared what happened to this world or the people in it, but if helping out with any further invaders was the price to pay for getting room and board, then the vampire would contribute--or at least go let the burdensome knight contribute to make up for the drain of keeping her summoned.

If the government was paying, then she could even try and work on a way to get around that limitation... or at least recuperate magic faster in this environment. Having to mix catalysts just to cast spells would be a problem, particularly when it came to trying to find a way to get home from this place; with magic she at least had a starting point from the villa and castle.

As part of her acceptance, the blonde made certain to hand over an existing ID card--one from her first time going through Mahora. They might want to take photos now, but she looked the exact same as fifteen years ago and had no desire to be lumped in with the other child that they'd somehow picked up and treated as her apparent age. Or for someone to assume that she might need to go to school again...

The demon had accepted as well. Not that she was sure why, but looking at the apartments raised an important point... small. Too small, in her opinion; students that were used to shared dorms might have been happy with the apartments, but her smallest residence was a cottage and she'd grown up in a castle. This was just cramped.

Though she had a question for Mordred: "You won't disappear if I'm one apartment over, will you?"

Hibiki nodded firmly, looking around a few times as if to get her bearings--though she knew roughly where they were anywhere--and set off, takoyaki in hand but rapidly disappearing. Fortunately, it wasn't as if she'd woken up on the complete opposite side of the city, so it was still going to be walking distance rather than trying to squeeze onto a train when she didn't have any way to pay for it and relying on Ben's generosity could only get so far.

"Ah... the ground's so hard."

Despite her complaint, the girl showed no sign of slowing as she took Ben on a short trip through Tokyo, unaware of the blonde stalking them. A few times, Hibiki stopped with a slightly puzzled expression, only to recognise where she was just in time to continue onwards. Except, of course, the building at their destination didn't match in the slightest.

"This is... but... Miku?"

Mordred

By this point, Mordred had dispelled her armor entirely, leaving her in nothing but the tube top and shorts that she had made her casual wear. These rooms weren't exactly terrible, on one hand, but on the other she definitely liked her place back in Chaldea better. They all got to customize their rooms however they liked, after all. But this was only temporary, right? This wasn't where they were going to be stuck. She wasn't going to let this be permanent. Not when her Master needed her.

"Ehhh? Yeah yeah, you don't need to babysit me or something," Mordred replied, leaning against the wall and shoved her hands into her pockets as she did. At least the floor felt kind of comfortable on her bare feet. She didn't like the boots in the armor. Or her armor in general, for that matter, if she could help it she preferred not to wear it. But she wasn't an idiot who would try to fight without it entirely either. Sure, she was confident in her abilities, but a knight wore armor to do battle and all, right?

"As long as we've got a contract-ah..." For a moment the blonde knight trailed off, cheeks coloring at the memory of the... process of contracting with the vampiric little girl. "... A-as long as we've got a contract you'll keep supplying me with mana, so it doesn't matter if we're together or not."

Emilio

"I see." He placed his hand under his chin in a ponderous pose and listened to Fukuchi.

"Return home huh? This place seems fun. why leave?" Emilio shrugged and held out one of his hands with the palm facing the ceiling as he did.

"Let's go then shall we? To the others..." He was eager to move. Lingering too long in this building made him remember the room that Wong had prepared for him. He prefered to be outside on missions.

Alberich

Narrowing his eyes slightly he sighted the bowl on top of a small dresser in the room. It had a couple of fruits in it, some apples, pear and bananas. He pondered for a moment and remembered how many figures in old stories ended up being poisoned by fruit, most commonly the apple. With this in the back of his head he chose the pear.

Alberich took a bite out of it to still the hunger. It annoyed him. He had other things to do than eat. But right now he knew that he had to. He sighed and his armorparts began to dismantle and fly off him, assembling themselves in a statue-esque form on the floor, and from nowhere his sword would pop up and attach itself to it aswell.

The return of his sword caused Alberich to smirk. Those fools have underestimate me. Alberich. Now how to solve matters here? He threw away the remaining part of the pear into a trashcan.

How many have truly been called to this place? There was himself and the four others. Then there was some other person the winged guy talked about. A teleporting guy? There was also someone speaking with the... chibi. Alberich furrowed his eyebrows and frowned.

Perhaps one of the remaining ones would be more likely to work alongside him. The plan was still ofcourse to return to Asgard if possible, but if that was not a possibility then doing the best of the situation would have to do. He stretched his arms abit. "Hm?" Alberich sniffed himself. "What's this? I reek." He stood surprised for a moment.

Alberich now when he thought about it he had never ever had any of his senses this strong for either taste or scent. Pondering on it he decided that it was best to go for a bath. Had he ever bathed before? The thought came to him as a face-slap. He couldn't remember when last he bathed.

He opened a couple of dresser boxes and found a towel and some plain clothes. What looked like a white t-shirt and some blue jeans, alongside other clothing items. Alberich explored the place further and found the bathroom which had a shower.

He wrinkled his nose and looked it over. It would have to do. It was not a bath tub or a spring in Asgard. Then he proceeded to undress and got into the shower and began to wash himself. Those clothes will serve to draw attention away from me. The people seems to have easy access to knowledge about all of us. If I somehow could gain access to information about the others, I could twist them to do my bidding.

Perhaps confronting them with their own hypocracies?
He smirked.

Menomaru

The heavily armored woman had elbowed him. He felt the impact and gasped, but it was not a fatal blow. The girl was indeed hotheaded. Having listened to Nanoha talking, Menomaru realized what he has to do. They all had to disappear. In order for all memories to vanish. All the humans of this world have to die. Then the worlds of these others will also go under.

It wasn't about self-preservation or ruling anymore. It was revenge. It was personal. They would not stop him. He'll accept their foolish terms and break them when he has the moment. Take as many humans down as possible. Perhaps keep a few alive as repellant against this girl. This Mordred.

She won't be able to use her sword too well amidst all these humans. Menomaru looked up from his position at the floor which he sat.
A murderous lust brewing inside of him. If the people of this world somehow came to learn of their existance at a larger scale it would spread panic.

Oh and these humans are prone to make foolish decisions when they are afraid. If he could somehow find an announcement platform where he could make his existance known to the world then it would trigger a massive war for certain.

The more he pondered on the idea of everyone getting what they so rightly deserved, in his opinion, the more he had an urge to laugh.
But for now he have to play it cool. "Fine. I shall go along with your play. Not like I have any other choice anyways."

He threw a glance to the side towards Mordred. I am a great demon. They dare to put me on the same level as themselves. I'll show them. With new feeling of purpose he slowly rose to his feet.

Stark

@KoLStark was surprised that the woman wasn't obsessing over him like the others, so it took him a second to realize what she had asked. "Oh, I built it myself." he replied. "It's not a costume. It's an actual armored exoskeleton. See, I'm not from this universe, where I'm a fictional being. In my universe, technology is a bit more advanced, and there are people with magic, powers, spider wall climbing hairs growing out of their fingers, and other things that don't exist here." Jarvis notified him of a potential mutant and he stood up. "Well, it was nice to meet you. My name's Tony Stark, by the way." he offered her a handshake. "Maybe we can talk again some time." He didn't wait long for a reply before donning the armor and heading to meet someone he believed to be from his world.

Tony Stark & Tyr Anasazi

As Tyr neared a hotel Tony radioed him. "Pull into the garage at the Super 8 up ahead."

Tyr accepted, as Stark likely knew more about this world than him, and parked the car when he got there, Stark flying in behind him, astonishing the driver of a leaving car. Stark landed and took off the suit. As Jarvis connected to the hotel's WIFI to get them a room, Tony went through the rear bag on the motorcycle and, after a bit of convincing of Tyr and rearranging of the contents of the bag, Tyr managed to get his Gauss rifle into it and close it. He also hid the pistol in his jacket. "If this is anything like my Bronx." said Stark, "They won't like people openly carrying guns. Make sure you keep them hidden in public. The same goes for those bone things on your forearms if you don't want to draw attention. They won't be used to seeing people with 'extra features'."

Tyr smirked and rearranged the sleeves of his leather jacket to cover them up, making sure that it wouldn't be difficult to use the blades if he got in a fight where he needed them.

"Jarvis, stay with the motorcycle." Stark said, pulling out the keys and handing Tyr the bag and keys to carry.

"Very well, sir. I have also booked you a room, though you will have to pay cash. Two queen beds and a kitchenette for $130 per night."

"That means I can only afford two nights." said Stark, then sighed. "Well, if we need short term cash, I guess there's always criminals to beat up."

"Bounty hunting?" asked Tyr, "don't you think that with our equipment that's a bit beneath us?"

"True, but it would be the fastest way to turn a profit. I'll think about it, though."

They got in the elevator and went to the lobby to check in, but when Stark mentioned his name the manager giggled. "You really should come up with a better alias if you are going to be traveling in cognito Mr. Downy." He handed them both keys.

Stark shook his head. "I'm not Robert Downy Junior. I'm Tony Stark. Somehow, I've traveled from my world to this one, where I am a fictional character and am played by that actor."

The man giggled again. "Whatever you say, Mr. Downy."

"Fine, I'll prove it to you." said Stark, and tapped a blue-tooth looking device in his ear. "Jarvis, please come up here."

"On my way, sir." Jarvis responded, and less than a minute later the Iron Man suit stepped out of the elevator.

"Nice, you brought the costume with you, and had one of your assistants wear it to play Jarvis."

"Jarvis, turn around and open the suit." said Stark.

Jarvis did and the manager looked at the empty suit with amazement. "How did you remote control it?" he asked.

By this time several people had gathered in the lobby and started taking pictures of Stark and the suit. Being used to publicity, he was a superhero after all, Stark ignored them. "Fine, I'll prove it's the real deal." He walked over and entered the suit, which then closed and powered up. "Can a remote controlled costume do this?" asked Stark as he took off gently, as to not damage anything, and made a few lazy loops around the foyer.

He landed and the people cheered. "I-I guess you really are Iron Man after all." said the manager. Stark nodded and entered the elevator with Tyr, still wearing the suit.

They entered their room and put down their suitcase, Tyr immediately opening it and removing the rifle and half a bottle of scotch that the biker had left in there. "So, now what?" Tyr asked.

"Well, I need to study this world." Stark said, turning on the TV and changing the channel to CNN. There he was surprised to see that he was today's top story.

"Are these "Iron Man" sighting a hoax, a PR stunt, or, as some believe, a fan's dream come true?" the news woman said, as poor quality footage from a cell phone was shown in the corner of the screen. "Has fiction become reality?" She paused and put her hand to her ear. "I am now receiving reports that Iron Man has just checked into the Super 8 in New York's Bronx district, with a story of inter-dimensional travel and a demonstration for the gathered crowd." This time they played a much better cell phone video of him in the Hotel lobby.

"Well, so much for laying low." said Tyr.

Inuyasha

Inuyasha wondered the streets of Tokyo for almost half an hour before realizing that he wasn't getting anywhere, so he walked up to a man in a nice suit. If he was going to be in this strange land, he would need to earn money and gain favor with the locals and their rulers. This man was obviously a rich merchant or minor ruler to afford such clothes. "I need to speak with your Shogun. Can you tell me where he is, so that he I can seek an audience?"

"Shogun?" the man asked, before noticing his Cosplay outfit and assuming that he was just in character. "We don't have a Shogun any more, but the National Diet Building is the seat of the government for Japan, and it is here in Tokyo."

"Could you tell me where this building is?" he asked.

"Sure." the man replied, then gave him directions.

Inuyasha thanked him, then, to avoid the crowded streets, wall jumped onto the roof of a nearby building and ran in that direction. Ten minutes later he ran up to a strange looking build with a sign out front labeling it as the building he was looking for. As soon as he caught the scent of something familiar, he stopped, however. Moths. Not just any moths but demon moths, as he could feel a demonic wind here as well. He then remembered the source of this familiar smell, a problem he thought he had dealt with years ago and in his homeland.

New York, New York; Manhattan Area; Starbucks

One moment she had been sitting down on her throne, Sigrun and Tanith in attendance with her by each side of the throne, to begin the usual day's business of handling the matters of the Begnion Empire's administration and similar things. The Senate, or rather the new Senate she had helped form in the rebuilding of her nation, had been sitting in their chairs, the old men glancing over to her waiting for permission to begin the meeting proper. Ever since the goddess had been defeated, a battle she had personally joined alongside the others to decide the fate of the world, it had been a lot of busywork to ensure peace on the continent. Many treaties had been signed to ensure the nations were not at war with each other, though even these legal measures only went so far. Remnants of the Laguz slave trade to continue to battle, anger from those who had been encase in stone but supported the Senate, and other issues that attempting to push their world to true peace would indeed have in the process.

Just the previous day news of an attack by laguz bandits on the Western side of the empire near the border, remnants of the slave trade who still held hostile feelings in all likeliness, and border forces had been taking care of this since a good portion of the proper Begnion army had been killed after serving Ashera and the corrupt former Senate members. All in all, a troublesome thing that needed to be dealt with decisively, but hopefully peacefully if she could get Gallian support in approaching these bandits.

But as she had closed her eyes for a moment to think, to take in the silence of the grand room she had become more than accustomed to since she had been 5 years old, something happened. It had felt like she was falling, dropped off of a cliff, and before she knew it the feeling was gone, the air felt different, and as she had opened up her eyes suddenly again a far, far different scene had opened up in front of her vision that was a far call from her home nation....or anywhere in Tellius for that matter.

She was sitting flat on her butt in an alley, the building in front of her alone scraping up at the sky and being of an utterly foreign style. A nasty mix of smells was in the air, originating from some metallic bin sitting to her left, likely a thing filled with refuse and horrid garbage of many sorts if she were correct about the matter. As she slowly stood and cautiously looked about, the purple-haired empress glanced down either side of the eerily empty alley. At least the daylight rung in to light up things beyond the skulking shadows of the alley....but even that sight was strange, enough to make her walk towards it. Curiosity or a cautious attempt to learn just where she was, it didn't matter. As she moved onto the sidewalk of what seemed to be a road paved with strange stone, she saw an innumerable array of metal carriages of some sort moving with people inside, honking at each other like some strange bird, coming in all sorts of shapes and color, and putting out a noxious air that made her cough several times after getting a lungful of it.

To boot, beorc of varying heights, wearing clothing far flung from anything she wore or knew in her life, walked by, some looking down at small objects that glowed in their hands, some dressed seemingly for formally than others, some giving her odd looks, and some...well, not giving a damn about her presence at all and just ignoring her outright. In part the overall scene felt...claustrophobic, There was not a single laguz anywhere, though....well, she definitely wasn't in her home nation.....or potentially the same world anymore. This entire place was so alien to her senses, however, she hadn't the slightest clue as to even the most minuscule of guesses as to what had happened.

Some fell magic used to try to kidnap her? One of the mages in her palace having miscast a new spell of some sort for moving about? Some force from another unknown realm reaching into the world of the goddess and happening to pick her up like some child's plaything? As much as it all worried her and raced within her mind, the empress' composure remained well enough to keep a straight face. Without even a single person recognizing her, bluntly shouting aloud or demanding things might not go so well. Not at all, even she knew that well enough. Further, without a sign of Sigrun, Tanith, or any of her subjects or troops or familiar faces about her when she had opened her eyes, it seemed as if she was alone as well perhaps.

Grimacing to herself, Sanaki looked about for a place nearby, somewhere she could in fact perhaps look for information. A library would be stupendous to access, and yet....did these people or her speak the same language?

"Yo, little girl, there ain't no cosplaying convention here, ya might wanna get back home before ya' parents get worried or someone snatches ya up," a passerby said to her, pausing for a moment to meet her eyes before walking off again.

Well, she could understand what that person had said at least, so perhaps there was some hope in things. Glancing to each side after she had observed the opposite side of the street for a few minutes, a green sign with what looked like a two-tailed mermaid with a crown seemed to stand out to her. A lot of people seemed to be talking whilst walking in and out of it, so perhaps here, amongst a lot of these people, she could find something of use to her. Somewhat awkwardly, despite her stoic expression she held for her own sake at the moment, Sanaki walked down this...well, walking space on the side of the street as it were, until coming to the door.

Gritting her teeth at having to move through a crowd of people like this, Sanaki did her best to push back the rest of the initial shock as she moved through the door past a couple of others who regarded her oddly. Upon entering, however, the sight of table, people seeming to be making drinks behind a counter, and the like met her along with a rich, aromatic smell that seemed to somewhat put her at ease even if it wasn't tea. Though in this more closed space, the looks she gained began to increase, the eyes feeling as if they were boring into her skull and body like they could see through her. It was...unnerving, and this feeling worked its way a little bit into her face as she moved forwards to try to find a better space to stand in, or at least see if she could find what looked like an intellectual of this...strange foreign place.

However, this would not be as simple as she thought, as promptly the Empress ran straight into a woman with short, white hair and blue eyes who seemed to be near the door chowing down on some sort of food. A small yelp came from Sanaki's lips as she did so, slightly taken aback by her own vulnerability coming to the forefront and mental irritation at having run into someone so rudely like these other beorc here seemed to be willing to do to others without blinking an eye.

"Yes, this world is totally suspicious. I never thought that something like this was even possible," Nanoha replied to Vita over telepathy, while she joined the others on her way to their temporary residence. "Actually, I think it's more than creepy... the way their media seem to represent us. Anyway, I'm going to the same place you are now, we can talk later. Especially because I think that the two of us will have a lot of work to piece together a way to fine tune the Dimensional Transfer before we can go back to our world. I've been running simulations with Raising Heart for a while, but I'll need your travel experience to help me fix the coordinates before we can give it a test."

Nanoha's telepathic spiel, and the complex calculations that she was running together with Raising Heart didn't take all of her attention. The auburn-haired grade schooler made sure to keep a sizeable portion of her focus in the surrounding ambient, including keeping tabs on Menomaru's whereabouts at all times. He was too dangerous to let go unwatched, which is why Nanoha made sure to do one of her specialties (placing stealth spells) to plant a tracking spell on him.

When they arrived at the apartment building, Nanoha was almost taken aback by the luxury if their accommodations. She was quick to cast away her clothes, leaving Raising Heart on the bed beside her backpack, and dive into the bathroom. A bath, even if quick, would certainly help her organize her thoughts, especially with the whole lot of simulations she had running at the moment.
Meteora Österreich

"Mhmm, mhmm, I would never have guessed it on my own..." Even Meteora's thoughts oozed with snark as she finished her last order without much hurry. It would be highly detrimental to be caught close to Mister Bolt Head, especially since this wasn't nearly half as close to the last time she was caught in such an incident. That said, Meteora was shocked how someone could be that careless, or selfish. But again, what she learned about this Iron Man from a few quick web searches made it clear that selfishness was just the tip of the iceberg.

In fact, Twitter was beginning to go crazy just right now, it wasn't just Bolt Head's fault, but he was by far and large the most careless creation to appear right now. The only advantage this gave is that Meteora didn't even need to use her magic to track him, just a few swipes through any social media were enough to do the job. Technology was a frightening thing, indeed.

Meteora's focus shifted completely when she was bumped into by someone. The pale-haired girl turned around to see a distraught person, another woman wearing clothes that looked very similar to Meteora's own Sage outfit, looking towards her. Not only the look of amazement in the girl's eyes, but the aura that she emanated were unmistakable: she was another creation, one that looked freshly manifested. A proverbial fish out of the waters of a fantasy world.

"What took you so long? I was waiting for you for a long while," Meteora said out blue, calling the other woman's attention, with a typical cliche line, before she started another uproar, following the steps of Mister Bolt Head. "Come on, take a seat. We can talk better about 'that' while eating something," she added, taking the Book of a Thousand Miles from her bag and placing it on the table, hoping that the other woman would recognize a magic book without the need for words and roll with Meteora's scheme without creating many problems.

Of course, the worst case scenario was that the mage would think that Meteora was the one behind this incident and attack her, in which case her attempt to keep a low profile would be blown to bits. But, one has to take some risks, and this girl looked like a heroine or royalty of some sort; attacking, at first sight, was likely to be something she wouldn't consider. Or at least Meteora hoped that her creator followed standard fantasy protocols.

— NYC Subway —

Ennis woke with a gasp as if startled out of a dream or nightmare. The gentle swaying of a traincar was familiar but this particular one wasn't. It wasn't even a proper train like those of the thirties but just a subway train, closer in function to the streetcars she had seen in San Francisco. Regardless of how confused she was by where she had woken up, Ennis did recognize the names of the stops as being from New York.

As it slowed to its next stop, just a handful of blocks away from Rikers island. The stations was surprisingly empty and she emerged onto the street into a scene of chaos with people running in different directions.

Suddenly addressed by the woman she had run into, the purple-haired empress eyed her with a matured caution for a moment as she was addressed by this other person as if being expected, a suspicious thing. However, it could also be considered a move of subtlety to avoid making a scene, as when the white-haired person pulled out a tome and placed it on the table it did not take long at all for Sanaki herself to get the idea. She could tell that was no normal book, but rather a magical tome of some sort. Not the same as she had or had seen in Tellius, but the aura about it was something she as a magic user could easily pick up on. Further, if the woman had been the one to bring her here, this would seem to be far from the optimal place to do it and manner of doing it at that. Then....hmmm, could this person potentially be in the same sort of situation?

Pulling herself up onto the strange "seat" next to this white-haired person, albeit with slight struggle due to being dressed in her own empress robes, the young ruler then looked over at this person, her face going into a more stoic "empress" mode as she used her experience to keep tabs on this other person's potential intent. However, this was more a move to be "better safe than sorry" than anything else right now, especially in a completely head-turning situation such as this where she had no troops, no familiar grounds or faces, or the like on her side. Though it was perhaps this falling into he instinctual mannerisms in this manner that helped her keep her head for the moment being as well.

Though as to how this compared to fighting a goddess and being attacked by her former subjects-turned-fanatics was up for debate still.

"You possess a tome, i see. A mage. Are you the one whom has pulled me here into this...other world, or are you in a similar position as myself in this debacle?" the Empress said to the white-haired woman in a subtle manner, not raising her voice enough to draw attention, but keeping it loud enough for this other woman she was sitting with to hear her clearly. All in all, a manner of speaking she was well-versed in as it were.

To attack a potential ally in this situation would be....mmm, ludicrous and overly-hasty for her. Though this being a mage with a tome, there was also the chance this was the one who had pulled her into this place far from her home. In the case of the former, then this was perhaps someone who had been around here long than she who might be of use, though if the latter was the case then swift action would be required. At the moment, however, she was gauging the situation properly in order to determine her next actions with care.

Shokuhou Misaki

Having found the paper money she was looking for (only a few thousand yen bills, sadly enough), the young blonde quickly readjusted her bag and placed the money in an easier-to-access location within before quietly following the other two, taking care to attempt to blend in as easily as she could. The streets were becoming less populated as time went on, likely as a partial result of the night growing deeper, but in the end the two remained on streets with enough people to warrant no issue.

Misaki stopped, of course, as the other girl seemed to have some sort of mental freakout upon reaching her "intended" destination. By this point, the amount of people in the area had thinned out, oddly enough; the only ones left on the street at this point were those two... And herself.

"Well, I guess I could've kept the charade up a bit longer, but micromanaging random people at this time of night seems fairly rude. Even for me," she sighed, brushing the dust off her skirt before taking a few steps forward. "I had figured you'd do something shady, but going after another young woman? Honestly, I'm not sure what I should make of you any more."

The silence of the road only made Misaki's statement all the more awkward, but seeing that the young woman beside the creepy old man was still staring into space like she was the witness to some unspeakable horror, the esper only shrugged her shoulders and sighed.

"I've seen that look before. Taking into account that outfit and dumbfounded reaction mixed with her method of getting here, though... I think I've pieced the issue together. Probably."

Though she was loathe to admit it, the old man that had kidnapped her a while ago was also probably one of the tickets to get her out of this mess. That didn't mean she wasn't going to try and not be sardonic about his actions, of course, but in the end she would... Probably need his cooperation one way or another.

Before she could attempt to move and bring the other girl back down to earth (so to speak), though, an odd noise seemed to pass by Misaki's ears. The street was all but silent, of course—save the faint sound of something. Shutting up for a moment, the young woman stopped in her tracks and tried to listen further; it wasn't rare for signals like this to be the precursor to something worse, of course.

"...elp me..."

"Oh. I don't like the sound of that," Misaki thought to herself, glancing around to try and find the source of the cry. She was no altruist like a certain spiky-haired boy was, of course, but something about this situation just didn't sit right with her.

Hinanawi Tenshi

Having polished off the peach that she was so casually snacking on, Tenshi got up from her seat and decided to dig around a bit more. There was a set of drawers off in another room that had a bunch of basic clothing, but compared to the outfit she was wearing they didn't feel as... Eye-catching, to say the least. Needless to say, she didn't bother changing her outfit out—at least, not yet. Despite the suggestion to go to sleep early, the Celestial wanted to explore the city more. Besides, if she wasn't tired, what point was there in trying to sleep? She'd only be wasting time she could have used otherwise, after all.

Deciding to take a quick shower before anything else, though, the young woman quickly doffed her outfit and washed herself. The warm water felt nice, at the very least, and the shampoo and soap had a pleasing aroma for what it was, but aside from that it wasn't anything to write home about. With that handled, Tenshi grabbed a towel and dried herself off before putting her old set of clothes back on.

Having taken enough of a break from being curious, Tenshi was about to head out the door and bother someone else before the sound of some sort of alarm went off. Freezing in place, the Celestial looked around and found the source to be a smart phone that had been put off to the side.

"O-oh. This. How was it supposed to be...?"

Picking the device up, Tenshi rotated the phone around before slowly sliding the green button off to the side, then putting the object to her ear (as she had remembered a few people doing earlier in the day).

"Hello? Are you there? I'm sorry to bother you all so soon after you settled in, but I need you to check some things out at the moment. Tenshi, Emilio, Vita, and Nanoha: I want you to investigate an incident further to the west. The location's been sent to you on a map; if you don't know the way, follow the latter two. Since you all can fly, we're skipping the escort.
Next: Eva, Mordred, Alberich, and Menomaru: we'll be sending a truck your way momentarily. Your destination's been marked to the southeast; you'll understand when you arrive. I'll be coming with the latter group, of course."

The voice on the other end was unfamiliar to Tenshi, but Nanoha and those with her at the time would likely recognize the voice as that of the female Private who had negotiated with them earlier.

With that, the message ended, and Tenshi cocked her head to the side in confusion as she looked at the device. It definitely seemed like something the kappa would produce, but so much... Simpler. She could probably figure out how to use it in the future, but before she could mess with it any further, the sudden popup of a map caused the Celestial to instinctively poke at it. The screen was now showing a map of the area, of course—far more abstract than she was used to, but a map nonetheless—and a red dot with radiating circles out somewhere off to the side. It didn't take a genius to piece two and to together, and so the young woman walked out of her room and quickly took flight.

"Hm... That lady said four names, didn't she? I recognize Emilio, but the other two... Well, i guess I'll see soon enough," she said, quickly flying around in a few circles and staring at the phone. It seemed to be pointing wherever she was facing, at least, which... made figuring things all the easier.

"...But honestly, I'm going to need someone helping me figure out how to use this thing later," she mumbled as she flew off towards the blinking dot on her screen.

Once she arrived, though, Tenshi was met with the sight of a few odd lumps of... Well, what seemed to be charcoal or something of the sort. Wrinkling her nose at the sight, the Celestial drew her blade and looked around warily. The place was cordoned off by police, but...

"What the heck caused this?"

As soon as Tenshi had left, a truck, as promised, pulled up in front of the building. The one driving, of course, was the Private who had sent the message in the first place, and she waited patiently for everyone she had asked for to get on.

"It'd have been nice if Mordred and Nanoha could come but... Mmm, orders!" she griped internally while waiting for the group to board.

Once they had, though, the truck would take off through the streets at a breakneck pace and, soon enough, reach another area marked off by the police. This one, however, seemed to be slathered in some sort of sludge. Private Minami immediately grabbed a cloth to put around her mouth to breathe in an attempt to filter out the smell.

"So, uh... Here we are. Apparently, some people saw whatever left this here go into... A manhole or something? The trail of sludge cuts off there, but it's too dangerous for us to send in normal personnel. I'll leave this one to you."

Leonardo Watch

With all the chaos of earlier having settled down, Leo finally decided to relax a little. After furtively asking if he could sit on the couch in the living room (the answer was yes), the young man turned on the TV, only to see news of Iron Man flying around the skies. Holding back the urge to let his eyes pop out of his skull, Leo pulled out his smartphone and, this time, asked if he could access the Wi-Fi here (once more, a yes). With no time to waste, Leo quickly began to fish through the news that he had missed in the last hour or so in the midst of that earlier chaos, only to notice that there was something new crowding out the Iron Man news—both on the TV and on his screen.

"Two giant unidentified objects have been spotted flying around the midtown Manhattan skyline. If you are in the area, do NOT approach. We repeat..."

The news showed pictures of two silhouettes that, to Leo, looked oddly like...

"Oi, hold on a second. Hold on."

The pictures that were all over Twitter right now were a pair of large wyvern-like creatures flying around the skyscrapers like they owned the place, occasionally with a shot of them in the middle of firing fireballs at the ground. A lot of messages were screaming about it being a publicity stunt for a new game that was announced, but...

"Um... Miss... Konpaku? I'm hesitant to ask, but... We should do something about this, right?"

The two creatures in question, of course, had just flown right above the heads of the two mages sitting within the Starbucks, one after the other, causing many of the previously-dumbstruck passersby to crowd into the building for safety. They didn't seem to be actively attacking anyone at first, by some miracle or another, but the two beasts quickly turned hostile as military personnel (moved over after the earlier incident near Rikers Island) began to fire their weapons at them. The bullets seemed to bounce off of their shells without much effect, and the two creatures soon took to the ground, both giving off an ear-shattering roar before rampaging through the barricade of cars (and the unlucky officers as well). To say it was utter chaos... Well, that might have been an understatement.

Konpaku Youmu

The time spent in the apartment was... curious, to Youmu, to say the least. Her phantom half had returned soon, and now she had spent much of her time trying to figure out how to use a great deal of the strange items around the house. Certainly, some of these could be used for the duties assigned to her by Yuyuko-sama... and the television, that was quite fascinating as well. It was much like the manga she sometimes purchased for Yuyuko-sama, except it was moving and on a screen... and also wasn't manga but the point was it was images made with a purpose. That being said, it didn't take very long for for something to come up. When Leo spoke, the short white-haired girl swiftly approached him, peering at the plasticky device he was holding.

"... Those are dragons," she said, flatly. Not the sort of dragon she was most used to seeing, but certainly a type of dragon she knew existed. What were dragons doing flying around so freely in the outside world?! She took a deep breath.

"You're right!" declared the girl as she approached the window, "I'm certain that if Yuyuko-sama was here she would say the same thing."

She opened the window, before pausing a moment.

"... Ah..."

Scratching the back of her head, Youmu found herself fretting for a moment. She was certain the boy couldn't fly, so he was limited to moving on the ground, and she wasn't as fast as she was so she would easily lose him in the dust even moving on foot... It didn't take long for the half-phantom to come to a conclusion, even if it was an awkward one she didn't particularly like.

Her phantom half drifted towards him.

"... You can..." she hesitated, "... Ride it. But don't squeeze too hard."

This was already going to be awkward, she didn't need to be bearhugged while trying to fly. But it was the only way she could think of to get Leo there quickly.

Vita

"I want to get back to Hayate as soon as possible, you don't have to ask me twice," was Vita's swift response as she sat back in the bath. She'd guessed Nanoha was already trying to work beforehand, in any case. The other girl was almost always trying to work at getting something done, so it was no surprise. A large scale dimension transfer spell had to be both the explanation and the solution. What else could cause something like this, after all? But what was with this universe? Having all that creepy insight into their lives... if they really were spying on Hayate, Vita would never forgive them for it.

Regardless, the redheaded girl was surprised to see that Nanoha had been given the same room as herself, but it wasn't exactly negative at all. It was better then having no-one she knew around, after all, but at the same time it wasn't like having Hayate around either. After finishing off her bath, Vita exited the bathroom and dried off before getting dressed, taking some time to raid the fridge while she was here.

She might as well, after all. She was a growing girl!

Not that Vita take it kindly if anyone pointed out the fact that she did not, in fact, grow at all.

Some time later a phonecall arrived, alerting them to some sort of incident. It was part of their agreement with this world's Japanese government, after all, and it's likely the TSAB too would have wanted them to respond to any strange activity as well.

So it wasn't much longer before Vita activated her knight's armor and took flight, en route to the location.

What was discovered on arrival was... unusual. It was chunky piles of black dust that smelled like coal. Already present was the blue-haired girl from earlier.

"What is this stuff?" she asked, approaching one of the piles. Was it just big piles of carbon? Why would that be here? It didn't make much sense to the small girl.

The vampire had spent a little time familiarising herself with the apartment--it was functional and relatively nicely appointed, which would have to do. Aside from that, there was the distinct "not lived in" feeling: nothing to indicate who lived here and, more importantly, a complete lack of some basic necessities. If it wasn't for the time of day, she would have attempted to at least partly remedy that with the cash that she had on hand... but it was a bit late to go shopping for appropriate clothes. What she had on would have to do until she could shop for more; an adult's clothes would just look... ridiculous right now.

It was for the better that she hadn't gone out shopping when the call came through almost immediately; she'd have to see about explaining that if this was to be a voluntary relationship then more information would have to be provided than "something over here". Surely there would be situations where she could get away with letting that hotheaded knight go deal with it on her own and focus on more pressing matters. Or at least some that were less boring.

Not that she could really complain right now about the interruption, it was at least more interesting than watching random television, though like anything else... the seats were too big. She had to find a way to store enough magic to hold that illusion; it was a shame she didn't have the magic pills that would do it.

How could this be possible? To go only from sleeping beside Miku to the dorm, Miku, not existing? She'd lost Miku before, but that was only temporary, and it had been perfectly clear how it happened... even if her survival had been a mystery at first. But this... she'd just woken up in a world without Miku and what was the point of that?

It was at this point that common sense finally caught up with Hibiki and she realised that Tokyo couldn't just replace entire buildings overnight. If Tokyo was wrong in too subtle ways, if there was a strange magic-using man who didn't recognise what she meant by alchemy... if this was a world without the warm sunshine by her side, then that didn't mean that world wasn't out there still. Even if it wasn't the sort of problem that could be solved with her fist, she would find a way home to Miku.

Of course, without looking into Hibiki's thoughts, one might get the impression that instead of actually realising anything, her change in resolve was entirely due to the cry for help that had gone out. Though it was a fair assessment of her character nonetheless, with the gear-wielder quickly looking around and then running off in the appropriate direction regardless of the darkness.

Because if she could be here, and someone seemingly nice like Ben...

Klaus had been quite enjoying his sudden trip to New York. Of course, it wasn't where he had expected to be; that city hadn't existed for several years. But when the Libra boss found himself inexplicably standing in a crowded subway car, there was little to debate about it: all signs and all the people around him pointed to this being a human-only New York that had never had to go through the Great Collapse and never had any experience with the Beyondians.

So he just enjoyed the trip. Then a little more. By the second time around, though, even enjoying the impromptu train journey had worn off, and the redheaded man had turned his attention to the task at hand: trying to get back to Hellsalem's Lot. It would be a difficult journey to make with no indications to how he had arrived here but--

Protecting innocent people from some truly inexplicable dragons took priority. Fortunately, having landed made them a much easier target, and with gauntlet on, Klaus went with the time-tested straightforward approach: run at your opponent and hit it as hard as you could--in this case, with an extra jump to make certain that he was hitting their bodies square and not simply the legs.

--the massive cross-shield of blood, though it hit with an impressively solid impact, failed to do much more than make the beast stumble a few steps. It was tougher than expected, maybe too tough for blunt force... stabbing, then?

Tony Stark and Tyr Anasazi

Tony was flipping through the channels as Tyr field striped his rifle on the kitchen counter, making sure every component was in good repair. They were interviewing people in the lobby downstairs, with the police standing guard beside the elevator and stairs, making sure that only people who had a room were allowed by. The manager at the hotel had also stopped renting out rooms in order to prevent fans from simply bypassing the police. The interview stopped as they cut to something even more unusual than a superhero. Apparently a dragon was flying around the skies of Manhattan.

"Tyr." he said, standing up. "I'll understand if you don't want to get involved, but I've got to save the city from a giant flying, breathing lizard."

Tyr stopped what he was doing and sat there for a second, dumbstruck. "A Dragon? Are you serious?" He looked at the TV, which showed a grainy cell phone video of it. "I guess humanoids are the only fictional beings it's bringing through. I don't see how it's our problem, though."

By this time Stark was putting on the helmet of the Iron Man suit. "I mostly help people for the fame, and to know I made a difference. You could help because whne this is over, I'm going to start asking for a reward. You might want some of it."

Tyr chuckled. "They aren't even offering a reward?" He shook his head. "Fine, I'm going with you, but if they don't pay me, you'd better. Besides, if a star ship comes through, you're helping me get passage on it off this world."

Stark held out his hand. "Deal." After they shook Tyr reassembled his rifle and they took the elevator back down to the lobby.

As soon as the doors opened the crowd went wild. "Excuse me." said Stark at the loudest volume the suit could produce from its speakers. "Could you please clear a path for my friend and I? We're off to hunt a dragon." The people started clapping and cheering again, but they made a pathway to the front door.

Stark and Tyr stopped out the front door and Stark lifted Tyr under the arms. "Fine," Tyr said, obviously embarrassed by the fact that he had to be carried, "Just don't drop me." With that, Stark activated the suit's thrusters, minus the hand thrusters, and took off in the general direction of the dragons.

Emilio

Emilio had hardly begun inspecting his room and thus reacted very quickly and picked up the device which relayed the teams and the place to check out. "Oh I see. A new army squad. Best get going then."

He smirked and opened the window to his apartment and took a leap out from it and took flight very quickly towards the west. Upon arriving at the scene he landed on top of a lamppost placing both his feet on top of it, spotting Tenshi and later also Vita.

"Aha? You are here. Hinanawi..." His eyes turned slightly into slits and then he turned to Vita. "Oh and you too. Red." He giggled slightly then surveyed his surroundings from his advantage point, having the lower part of his face down in his collared vest.

"Good grief... it is just dust. Want me to blow it away?" He didn't find the dust to be an overly strange thing. He had seen plenty of such things during the wars of his world. Where cities lay in ruins and people were dead all over the place during the war between his kind and the humans.

"Could it be someone might have gotten killed here?"

Menomaru

Having been introduced to his room in the building. Menomaru was far away from pleased. It was small. It was too humanlike and that drawing on the wall of a dog made him think of that half-demon Inuyasha. He did wonder for a moment how that half-demon would have reacted to this world. Seeing what he had seen. The moment he would have told him that all his friends and everything he knew was made up by some humans.

Menomaru found it odd how much the idea of Inuyasha in despair amused him. The dumb half-demon would had been so easy to deceive in this place. Now when he thought about it, he would had made a perfect pawn against that hotheaded idiot human. Mordred. How he hated her.
Not only her though but the priestess and the cocky little blonde girl too. His thoughs were interupted by a beeping sound. Instinctively his eyes darted to the source.

"Be silent."
He drew his blade and had it cut through the table it was located on. Causing it to glide slightly and the message would play.

They are already seeking to employ his expertise? He felt annoyed being forced to join that thickheaded girl Mordred yet again. But it seemed like Nanoha was not going to join them. Excellent. This was just what he had waited for. Without her pestersome magic. He could have that Mordred girl killed. Even better. He could kill alot of people and then have that dumb girl wave her sword in his direction to kill some extra.

He felt a shiver go up his spine as evil joy filled him. He saw someone dart past in high speed past his window. Who it was? He wasn't able to see, that person moved faster than himself. He however made it out of his room. Not bothering to lock it and made his way down to the truck where he stood awaiting the others.

...and sure enough someone did come.

Alberich

He had gotten out of the shower and gotten dressed in his temporary clothing when a beeping sound alerted him.

It was not a difficulty for Alberich to figure out how to use it. It was not the kind of device one could find in his homeland, but the outside world had these kind of things. Though he had never seen one so advanced and little before. Overhearing all the names he only reacted to one name.

Mordred? He knew that name. He had read about someone named that. Could this be -that- Mordred? He doubted it but wasn't certain.

After all he had met Siegfried, he who killed the dragon and was covered in it's blood. It wasn't impossible. Never in his years did he think he would run into someone like Mordred. Providing this was indeed the same one he knew of. He didn't bother taking on his armor now. He could call it later if he needed it. He wasn't completely helpless without it.

Alberich made his way down to the truck where there was already someone waiting. That person had a look about him that Alberich did not like. That guy carried himself in some self-important manner. Was this... He had to ask in order to know.

"Are you Mordred?" Alberich asked to the man before him with the odd facial markings, antennas, elf-like ears and a long cape?

The question caused the man in question to twitch his eyebrows, gritting his teeth and offer a low "Tcchhh..". Alberich waited for the man to reply but he didn't answer, so he just stood there and stared for what seemed to be an eternity.

He drew more than a few stares as they crossed the city. If only he had access to Mockra he could make use of it to make himself harder to notice without resorting to a full illusion. Instead he walked brazenly behind Hibiki. One thing that he noted was that nobody on the streets was armed. Even in Unta, the capital of the empire it wasn't unusual to see a sword hanging from a belt or a pair of long knives.

"Thank the twins that Kalam isn't here. I'm sure he would have stuck out a lot more."

The assassin was a total contrast to Ben. He would have been heavilly built and armed to the teeth with a variety of knives and daggers.

Quick Ben stopped besinde the girl and looked at the building she had apparently been looking for which appeared to not have been what she was expecting. He could sympathize with her experience. Before he could offer words of advice or encouragement her heard a noise, a voice calling for help.

His hands moved as if manipulating invisible strings while he opened a haldful of warrens in preperation to use their powers. The girl had already run off and he followed, conjuring a spehere of light into the air that hung in the sky like a flare.

— NYC Streets —

THings on the streets went from bad to worse. Where it had seemd that people were panicking over mundane criminals now it appeared that there were dragons attacking people in the streets. Unfortunately, lacking any weapons the only thing for Ennis to do was try to distract one of the beasts.

So she took off her shoe, made a running start and threw it, hitting it in the eye.

Mordred

After that little conversation, Mordred busied herself about checking out the room. There wasn't too much too it, and she hated all the clothing options, but hey, the fridge was stocked! She saw no problem with helping herself to the contents immediately, eventually extracting a popsicle to have a taste of. It was... lemon? It tasted like lemon, that was for sure. Of course, it wasn't much longer after that, that the call for aid came out. Of course, she was a knight, so even without this agreement she would never turn her nose up at kicking something's ass helping those in need! Nodding firmly to herself, she pulled on a pair of boots and headed out to reach the van.

The ride to their destination was, at least in Mordred's opinion, awesome.

"Hell yes! This is what driving is all about!" she declared, cheerfully, careful not to lose her popsicle. It was that girl from before in the driver's seat too, right? The one who'd gotten all excited about her? She was an awesome driver! An exciting ride, this is what Mordred wanted from being in a vehicle. She wasn't sure why no-one else looked happy, this was great. Of course, it was over all too soon(and likely in a fashion that terrorized any bystanders), and still clad in her casual wear Mordred hopped out of the van and approached the... sludge. The first thing the blonde was hit by was the absolutely awful stench, wrinkling her nose and waving her hand.

"Jeez, whatever this thing is it stinks," she complained, stopping at what she felt was a safe distance from the ooze.

Shokuhou Misaki

One the other young woman had dashed off, Misaki quickly moved to follow, sifting around in her bag for the right remote to use. Obviously, there were only so many to use when it came to addressing the need of "helping someone in trouble", but for the most part it wasn't as if she couldn't attempt to control whatever thug it was that was causing the problem.

Unless, of course, they ended up like that old man somehow and obtained immunity to her ability. In that case, well... The others could probably handle it.

The group didn't take long, of course, to trace the source of the noise to a dark alleyway. Misaki herself found such a setup somewhat typical, but at the very least the option of rubbing out the memories of any witnesses was an option.

"...elp... me..."

The same voice seemed to slowly cry out from further within the alleyway, but before Misaki could take another step forward, the ball of light that Ben had created shone a spotlight on the source: an eerie creature, its body hunched over what seemed to be the body of a somewhat-overweight middle-aged man lying near a bunch of empty bottles. The pungent smell of blood soon hit Misaki's nose, and the young woman recoiled in disgust.

"...elp... me..."
The creature, turning towards the group, parroted the same call that they had been hearing over and over before returning its focus to the meal in front of itself. Gritting her teeth, Misaki turned her remote towards the man and, praying that any such recoil wouldn't strain her mind, attempted to take control.

There was a faint response, but as the man seemed to be both heavily inebriated before this incident and was... Well, currently having his insides consumed, it wasn't as if she could do anything in particular... Except maybe dull the pain (assuming he still felt any). It was at this moment that Misaki noticed that there was something... Peculiar about what memories she had seen.

"...More than one? Oh, they're a pack animal?!" she involuntarily cried out, glancing up as a few more of the creatures seemed to circle overhead.

Her abilities were worthless on animals, so this was far more than she had bargained for.

At first, the scene that she was seeing didn't make sense--a... bird thing? Some sort of bird monstrosity was calling for help? But with the light, it was clearer that this creature was eating, its voice just a trap, and what it was eating... "Balwisyall nescell..."

Again, to an uninformed observer, it might have seemed that the completely unarmed girl had taken leave of her senses, continuing to run straight at the avian monstrosity despite being completely unequipped to fight. Throwing out random syllables... well, for a second it might seem like the whole stress of the situation had made her mind snap.

"Gungnir tron!"

A brief light engulfed Hibiki, concealing a far more complicated transformation, and then the alleyway was inexplicably full of the sound of music and singing, the phonic gain powering the Symphogear. Not even two steps passed from the time the transformation completed until Hibiki's fist was drawn back, too far away to reasonably hit anything--

And the armour on her arm reshaped into a rocket, and around the waist, clearing the rest of the alley in a blur as even more reinforcement fell into place over her fist, making the armoured gauntlet more than overkill for punching through a tank. A bird creature, even a monstrous one like this, stood no chance against what may as well have been an onrushing train smashing through its body and pulling the rest of its carcass in Hibiki's wake.

None of which would help its victim--nor, in fact, did Hibiki have much of an idea how to do so, breaking in her singing for a moment--though the music didn't stop--to ask Ben and Misaki to do something before jumping to the rooftops. When the rest of the birds came down, they were in for a bad time.

He glanced upwards as Misaki made her exclamation. With a stony look of concentration on his face her made an almost casual gesture towards the sky. An arc of rippling azure fire streaked skyward and then the wizard appeared to simply stand there, sagging weakly as if that single conjuring took everything her had.

With the illusion set Quick Ben walked towards the wounded man, invisible. His favourite game, appearing inept and telentless. Hardly a threat if such a show of force was an undue effort. It is easy for others, man and beast alike, to think less of those they consider below them.

Under the cover of his illusions he crouched down. Not good, as bad as anything he had seen an the battlefield. With another gesture and a lot more concentration and effort than that small unleashing of Tellas he focused his Denul into the wound, laboriously knitting together torn flesh. The mental pain would remain, the shock and trauma of such an injury.

"Incoming message requesting assistance with an unknown incident, Master."

"Uee? A request this fast?" Nanoha barely had the chance to finish her bath when Raising Heart alerted her about the call asking for their help. Apparently, other out of the ordinary events happened between their arrival at this world and the present. Nanoha, Vita, and two others that she didn't know anything about would be dispatched to a location that required flight for ease of access and the remainder of them, including Eva and Mordred, would go another location.

Nanoha could agree that this was a logical division of their numbers but it had a problem of leaving Menomaru away from her eyes. That's exactly when Nanoha's habits of over-preparation pay off.

"Raising Heart, please send a message back to the same number that called us saying that I have planted tracking spell on Menomaru. If they ever lose sight of him, we can provide his position in real time," Nanoha said shortly before changing clothes, activating her Barrier Jacket, and joining the others on the way to their objective.

Nanoha would group together with Vita during the flight and take it as a chance of checking on her friend's status, whether she had enough Cartridges to fight efficiently, and exchange device data between Graf Eisen and Raising Heart. However, if the others attempted to approach her, Nanoha was open for a talk. She particularly interested in the others' original worlds. After all, this knowledge might be the key to get them back to their rightful places, but wouldn't push it if no one wanted to talk.

The chance for conversations wouldn't last long. Soon enough the four of them arrived at the scene of the incident. The amount of ash spread all over the streets was disturbing. Only a powerful fire-wielding mage, or similar threat, would be able to do such widespread damage. Nanoha's mind immediately drifted to Signum, as a reference, but she decided to not voice her thoughts out of concern for Vita. The white-clad mage knew very well what her friend must be feeling; she didn't want to make it more difficult for Vita by name dropping Hayate or the Wolkenritter.

Once Nanoha had surveyed the nearby terrain visually, she joined Vita on the ground, ready for any incoming threats. "Raising Heart, please, do an Area Search. Try to find anything unusual nearby, be it magical or not," she said before turning around to address Emilio and Tenshi, "do any of you have any search and tracking skills to help speed up the search?" Nanoha asked.
Meteora Österreich

"I'm not the one who brought you here, but I have been in a similar incident before. Since you seem to understand the basics that this is not the world you originally came from, I'll be brief," Meteora replied to the other woman's earnestly before making a small pause to gobble some more of her sixth or so breakfast order, offering it to the other girl as well. After she finished chewing the white-haired sage continued, "I'm Meteora Österreich, the Sage of the End of the World, a fictional character from the RPG AVALKEN of Reminisce — no, that's not right, according to a quick web search I'm even more fictional in this world, but I'll save these details for later. The important message is that we come from worlds that exist as fiction within this one. I'm not sure enough that this incident is like the last one I was involved in, but we are sure to find it out soon, thanks to Mister Star—"

Meteora long, overly-expository dialogue was interrupted by the building commotion outside. She didn't even need to rush to the windows to check what was happening. In fact, the ear-splitting roars told a clear image of what caused it. "We will have to leave this discussion for later. Even if I'd prefer to keep a low profile for as long as possible, I cannot let these people be hurt. Before I step in, I have to ask: How much are you acquainted to combat?" Meteora asked the girl.

Meteora paid for the food, telling the cashier to keep the change as she waited for a reply from the mage girl.

It was a thing that would seem ludicrous if she had been faced with it three years earlier in her life, but right now this situation, as alien and strange as it was, seemed to make enough sense that she latched onto it just to steady herself. They were from other worlds beyond this one, their tales naught but fiction in regards to this one despite the situation. Somehow, perchance, this was the case according to this stranger's words. However, the young Empress could not find deceit or lies flowing from this woman's words, and simply her attempts to keep this situation muted rather than causing a scene....seemed rather tactful, especially if this mage was going through this sort of event for a second time in her life. Though the lack of surety that this situation was similar to a previous one the white-haired individual spoke of being in before was rather troublesome at best, though potentially this also meant and made this person out as someone with insight into what could be the case here. A thing of value indeed.

Yet if this all was true, it also likely meant the two of them were far from alone in being in this world as well...really, who knew what other worlds had individuals bleeding into here, and the potential dangers and chaos that could cause. Though a familiar sound, not one she enjoyed albeit, rang through the air. Wyverns. Though whether they were from her world or not remained to be seen, she did have something of sorts that was useful against the likes of dragon-kind. She had used a similar tome, blessed for one of the other mages in the force that went to take on Ashera, she had used to help fight against the King of Dragons himself at best. However, she didn't have that particular tome on her right now. As beorc from outside on the streets began to move inside rapidly, it seemed the mage calmly payed for the food she had eaten and offered Sanaki herself, before asking the small Empress just how much she was used to combat before they moved out. Sanaki had been about to run out anyways, even if this mage wasn't, though it was good to hear this individual seemed to have a level enough head to handle things like this.

"Well, Miss 'Meteora', you are speaking to someone whom has fought down the king of a nation of dragons, and who assisted in the slaying of a rampant goddess who turned the rest of the world to stone. I believe it sufficient to say, however, that i must wait to give my own name and status upon the slaying of these wyverns that have landed in this world as well. Fortunately, i bear a tome whose magic is most effective against these sorts of things," the young girl said, her tone and edict in speaking mature and distinct, proper yet politely hurried due to the developing situation, standing from her seat with her shoulders back and her regal air saturating the air with sheer presence, "But unless that tome of yours can slay dragons, i might need some 'cover' as it were as i target the enemy. Follow me."

And promptly, Sanaki nodded at this 'Meteora' woman, before shoving her way through the crowd next to the door and forcing her way out onto the streets once more. However, unlike minutes before, they seemed more empty, many of the metal vehicles of sorts in the street abandoned in the process. Amidst the chaos, however, it was easy to look down the way to see the two wyverns sitting there on the ground, rampaging through what looked like shoddily-dressed troops in uniform and...actually a couple of other individuals who seemed to be attacking the things. A small projectile like a shoe seemed to bounce off of one wyvern, whilst another man of large statue seemed to throw a blow at one of them that looked like blood in the shape of a cross. Peculiar as this was, Sanaki noted these two's positions and pulled out her Bolting tome from under her robes and flipped it open. The golden yellow-clad book of magic was comfortable in her hands, and the words on the page began to glow as Sanaki prepared her magic to cast.

"You two by the wyverns! Watch your heads and move back!" the purple haired Empress shouted in a booming, regal manner to at least try to warn the two individual who had tried to do something against these foes, even as the words on the page of her open flared even brighter for a moment as she proceeded to cry the name of the spell aloud to cast it-

"Bolting!"

Blasting down from the sky at immense speed, suddenly from the sky and clouds above without warning, was a great and mighty bolt of lightning, aimed directly at the base of the neck of the wyvern that the shoe had been thrown at. Indeed the spell came crashing down with power that, unbeknownst to Sanaki, was potentially unseen in size and volume in this world as compared to its "natural" lightning. However, the range was fitting for the use of this tome, as if she had been any close she'd have had to likely use "that" spell on the blasted things. And with others close to the scene, "that" spell might be a lot messier to the people rather than the surroundings.

Fighting draconic enemies. Whether it was the mighty dragons of goldoa that towered like unto these things, or the great wyverns ridden upon by Begnion or other troops from Tellius, this was the sort of thing she was used to. Albeit, never facing them alone, but to avoid the deaths of innocents she wasn't going to just ponder on the situation as a whole too much. Besides, if at least that blood-punching-looking fellow could keep attention, it might work in her favor.

However, it was all too clear that it seemed independent parties were getting into this battle. And from the looks of it, at least one of those individuals was probably form another world considering his odd type of attack. The better to try to end it a swiftly as possible, then, and avoid the inevitable conflict a disorganized rabble of fools might cause in all of this...at least if more got involved. But as it was, she had to account for these things as potential variables in the situation.

Sanaki hadn't ruled and empire for nearly a decade and learned nothing from all of that, after all.
