The fight was getting fierce. Isago was holding his own but this Jobba guy...he was not the type, from how he was fighting, to easy be shook off. This was a kill or be killed situation with Jobba and fighting to a stalemate was not what Isago wanted.

On Ratte's end, Flying edge was getting a bit annoyed that this woman wouldn't go down. he comment pissed her off a bit. I'm not some beer whore. Let's see if you're still saying that after I fill you with arrows. Shooting about 3 more shots but realized that Ratte grabbed a plank only for her arrows to pierce that instead. Flying edge was not good with close range fighting but seeing Ratte getting closer, She needed to create distance, as she moved from her spot, running to try and find a better spot to catch Ratte.

On Kai's end, the male and female were wondering if this kid really did have a shot or was he bluffing. When the girl rushed after him, she noticed the door opening and saw the boy rushing out. The guy buckled a bit from the pain he was in while the girl came out with her dagger and noticed the boy was caught in the hands of an...official? The girl couldn't help to be seen while she froze in place. this was not part of the plan. She looked to Jobba while the both Jobba and Isago stopped and noticed the man that grabbed Kai.

Shit.... Jobba said. Isago couldn't have said it any better. He watched for a moment thinking they needed to leave or kill these new arrivals. otherwise Black Demon would be pissed if they were caught. Isago looked on. "Kid!!" He said. He called to the man. "Put the kid down, the one you want is this spearman!!" He said. "And the archer...' trying to get an advantage of having someone go after Jobba and his partner. But was that girl the one attacking Kai?

No!! You're looking at partners of the Black Widow!! We are doing civil service by capturing them for you!

"You son of a-" Isago spoke out. "He's lying!!" Who are they going to believe? Me or some dark skinned foreigner or possible slave?

By the time Kai had recognized who one of the men at the doorway was, it was too late. The Captain had been present at the heist, and would have most certainly been on the lookout for the group of thieves that had pulled it off. The boy struggled against the man's grip, thankful that the other one, whom did not look familiar, did not react to his attempt to escape. He could hear Isago and the person who had attacked him trying to turn the Captain against each other, though, the odds did not look to be in their favor. The Captain had seen their group committing a crime with his own eyes. As for the other one, well, he was not going to wait to find out.

Kai eventually managed to reach for his cutlass after some time, and drove it into the Captain's leg. Once released, he leaped over the counter and dashed past the crowd that had gathered at the tavern, prompting shouts of surprise and dismay from its patrons. He exited through the front, glancing around warily to ensure that he was not a target for the time being. He looked round the corner to see both Isago and Ratte engaged in battle. He would have to get their attentions to let them know he was safe, but that would mean attracting the attentions of the rival group as well. Still, there was a chance they could all escape for the time being and plan their next moves. He prepared himself to run before calling out to Isago and Ratte, should their enemies turn their attacks to him.

"We need to retreat, now!"

The Captain roared as the blade penetrated him and he doubled over, gripping onto his wound. He gritted his teeth and his eyes found Griffin in the basement. He couldn't move for the pain at the moment and would need to tie it up before attempting to chase the boy. He had recognised him not long after grabbing hold of him. He was part of the rebel group that had raided the caravan he had been in charge of all those weeks ago. He had almost lost his position because of these fools. He looked to Griffin, "You there! Capture that little rat, he's a fugitive! He's part of Black Widow's little group, he needs to be stopped!" He ripped off a strip of his undershirt and wound it tightly around his leg. Damn, he wished that he'd had more gin.

Ratte saw the woman retreat and she smirked slightly, she'd got her on the defensive; that was a first. She swung the plank back and flung it at the shooter. It didn't go far, but it made an almighty thunk against the metal that would hopefully put her on edge. She picked up a second plank and stepped closer to the woman when she heard Kai's voice. She looked back to him briefly, then to Isago, then to her assailant. She had no real intention of staying to fight, her expertise was far from it, so she looked to Kai, "We need cover! Smoke, fire, gunpowder, something to hide us for a second!" She yelled.

Griffin was surprised when the teen bolted past him. Well at least the kid had good reflexes. That could keep alive a few more years. He looked at the captain when he demanded that he helped catch the kid. Hos simply raised an eyebrow. "Do I work for you? I don't remember joining the city guard?" He commented. The guards had good intentions but there were too many rules for him.

"Your Black Widow is a minor threat. She won't hurt the people as much as the Black Devil. When you decide to focus on the real threat let me know." Griffin shook his head as he made his way through the tavern. He had no interest in the Black Widow and her group. His investigation told him the Widow had worked alone until the heist. She had inspired this group in a short period of time. He had no idea how but it was something that he wanted the Demon to find out.

After her carnage, Nyla grabbed up her Teddy bear and began seeking sonewhere to hide, she made her way just outside the city and into what looked like suburbs. She looked in in the distance to see a tavern, knowing it would inly be a matter of time before people would find out about her soree at the orphanage, she decided this may be her only chance to hide out for a bit.

She moved in closer to the tavern, at this point she was standing shyly in tavern yard, bare foot, blood stained, and holding her cloth doll close to her chest.
Part of her was frightened to even enter, for she didnt know who would be inside waiting. She then shyly stepoed inti the tavern still holding her doll close like a terrified, lost child, looking amongst the choas and new faces, this was a little much for her but she tries to keep her composure.

Okay, this was getting bad to worse. It was already bad enough that they were wanted but now they were in a surprise battle with members of Black Demon's group and they were very skilled. And to top it off, the Captain that was after them before shows up with someone else. And now...this Jobba guy was making Isago out to be the true badguy when Jobba is working for a group possibly worse than their own.

The young girl that was after Kai waited to see what happened until Jobba spoke to cover themselves so to take the possible heat off of them and on to their enemies. She watched how Kai managed to get loose and shook her head how this kid was so slippery. She attempted to go after the kid again but looked to Jobba. We are just warriors doing our civil duty to help this town. We shall catch them!

Isago looked over. "You bastard!" He said while on Ratte's end, Flying Edge was just needing to get in better position nearly slipping from Ratte's attempts. She prepared to use her bow again before the voice of Kai was heard of needing to escape and well...Kai had an idea here. The captain was here along with their rival group and if they were to join forces now, this would not end well.

"To hell with it!" Isago said as he quickly reached into his sack and slung 3 smoke balls out and upon the explosion, Isago rushed in the direction Kai was going to head and looked over signally Ratte to get going. They were going to have to head to the harbor more than likely since that was not so close to all the craziness in town. As Isago rushed, he noticed a girl...a barefoot girl with blood stains and "Girl...get away from here, it's dangerous." He said beckoning her to leave the area as the smoke started to spread a bit.

Nyla drops her doll and clenches her head, hearing the voices triggered by all the chaos around. " Mnnngh shut up, shut up, shut up." She starting repeating to herself as her eyes widen and a maniac grin settles amongst her face. Almost immediately after she starts laughing and walks over the tavern's bar, grabbing a barrel of alcohol.

She soons finds herself tracing her own path with a stream of fluid from the barrel. Nyla hummaed all the while, finally picking up two metal objects, not really knowing what they were nor did she care. She struck the metal together making sparks of fire, finally catching the alcohol trail. She then looks back over to Isago. " Now its dangerous love, maybe it will all end."

At Ratte's words, Kai began frantically glancing around, hoping to get some idea of how to hide them while they made their escape. That was when, to his astonishment, Isago pulled out some smoke bombs to use as cover. Hopefully he could get the older man to introduce him to his supplier when it was all over. He could make out Isago running in his direction and took it as a cue that it was time to go, besides, that female assassin in the basement was most likely on her way out after him. However, he then heard Isago addressing some 'girl', and he looked back to see a teenage girl who looked not much older than himself. There was something rather menacing and unsettling about her, and what she did next only justified his discomfort.

She did not seem like she was on the side of the group that was attacking them, but he saw the trail of fire, registering that it might blow the entire building up. Panic struck the boy. What were they supposed to do? Was there anything they could do? Every single person in that tavern was most likely going to die if they let that happen, along with their own group if they did not ditch the area at once. Sure, they were thieves who would not hesitate to take out people who were in their way, but were they going to take cover and let this mass murder happen, or attempt to find some way to put the fire out? He looked to Isago and Ratte, wondering how they were going to respond.

Griffin cursed when he saw the flames. Fire and alcohol were the worse mix possible. The tavern was filled with people. He grabbed the captain. "You make sure that everyone gets away from this place. Far away. I would clear at least a block. I'll see if I can get people out of here. Luckily most of those of the main floor had already started for the door. He hoped nobody got hurt in the process. The best he could do was try to make sure anyone not in the main area got out.

Nyla watched as the choas turned into some what of a unison. She smirks before climbing out a window. Next she needed a pump and a pale of some kind to atleast try to put the fire out. In her head she wanted to get them all to work together. Maybe if thry shee shes inside trying to save the tavern the others would join in.

Not only was her intetnions to get everyone to cooperate, she wanted to end it all becore she really flipped out and started killing more. Afterall, she was already on the run and didn't need more attention. Finally she spots a small pale in the distance and the pond nearby. Instantly she shot off, running barfoot towards the pale, grabbing it up before scooping water into it.

Ratte saw the smoke and flames and her eyebrows flew up, “That was... fast.” She commented, before she realised that Kai wasn’t the one behind the distraction. She lost sight of her assailant in the smoke and decided to start running for cover. She backed away from Flying Edge and turned just in time to see a girl running for a nearby pond, barefoot and young. What was she doing in a tavern at this time of night?

An instinct that she thought she had repressed bubbled up inside her stomach and she called out to the girl, “Hey, let the adults handle this! Get out of here!” Speaking it adults and kids, she looked to Kai and shouted to him, “Kai let’s go! I don’t want to be here when any more authorities get here!”

The Captain gritted his teeth, watching the tavern burn, couldn’t he just get a night off? He wasn’t asking for much. He limped into the bar on Griffin’s command and started to order people out of the front. He had seen the people out the back of the tavern and didn’t want any civilians getting harmed out there. He dragged his foot along and choked on the smoke as he herded the last few drunkards from their seats and pushed them towards the door. The flames were getting close to the bottles of liquor around them and he didn’t want anyone there when they started exploding, “I think that’s the last of them!” He shouted to Griffin, heading for the door himself.

Griffin left the captain to handle the people downstairs and in the near by buildings. He raced up stairs. Flames surrounded him. Breathing was hard but he pushed on. He opened every single door and made sure each person found the stairs. The longer he took the hotter it got bug he didn't stop until he had checked every room. Only then did he make his way downstairs.

Once downstairs he checked the few rooms downstairs. Flames were everywhere. He knew the place would blow any second. He could only hope that everyone was clear. He could hardly breath and could barely see. He stumbled towards where he thought the door was. Before he reached it there was a flash of light. He stumbled as there was a whooshing sound. The building exploded sending glass and bits of woods flying everywhere.

Kai heard Ratte's voice telling him that they should leave, and looking around, there were a couple of good reasons for that. The people in the tavern who had noticed the fire, the Captain and his companion included, had already begun to evacuate the place. It seemed like there was no preventing the establishment from getting destroyed. Ratte also had a point about getting out of there before more military personnel arrived at the scene. He dashed off, assuming that both she and Isago were not far behind him.

The the crackling of the fire commotion of the crowd escaping the tavern grew faint as he continued to run further away from the ignited building. It was only a matter of time before it blew up. Never mind the spare gunpowder that he and the rest of the group kept down in the basement, the place was a drinking establishment. Once he was far enough, the boy ran behind a wall, covered his ears, and waited for the explosion. He did not have to wait long, and when it was over, he peered around the corner, hoping to spot his teammates through the smoke.

Nyla stops in her tracks as the building becomes engulfed in flames. She nearly cracks a smile at her own work, but she did not want to seem like the culprit of the whole endeavor. The heat on her already is bad enough, this would be icing on the cake. She now faces two options, run or play innocent. The fire has grown more than she anticipated, she would need the help of everyone there to put out the fire.

Even if everyone did work together, someone was bound to see her. Thinking back to before she ingited the trail of alcohol, she remembers a guy talking to her, coaxing her to get away.@King Tai She hoped he wouldnt rat her out.

Things just keeps getting better and better. After trying to make a getaway, Isago noticed the young girl lighting alcohol up which made his eyes widen "No!!" he said as it went to the tavern. Flying Edge and Jobba watched this while the assassin girl was going to rush to continue chasing Kai but Jobba called the girl. There was a chance they'd get figured out and chased down too and their objective was to only take down Black Window's group.

This was a mess. This was a failure on Black Demon's group part. Flying edge made her way out of the area along with Jobba and The assassin girl leaving. The injured boy that got hurt by Kai attempted to get out but he was trapped in the flames as the assassin girl had to leave him.

Good...while the officials were busy, Isago was not too happy with what just happened and grabbed the girl by the collar area of her outfit and spoke. "What the hell is wrong with you!!! Those are innocent people!!" he said with great anger. "And then you got the damn nerve to try and put that fire out!? I don't know who the hell you are but you are going to answer for this!" He said letting her go. She did still provide a good distraction but he didn't want lives to be at risk in doing so and now..there's a chance the officials will believe this girl is part of their group.

Isago stared the girl down before running off towards the harbor so to regroup there. They needed a new plan now. They needed to figure their next move. security will probably beef up too thanks to this.

Ratte watched Kai run ahead and stopped to check that they weren’t being followed, just in time to see a flash and an explosion engulfing the tavern. She swore and fell to the ground, covering her head as debris flung itself around her. She felt several leave welts in her back and groaned when it stopped raining wood. She pushed herself up and rolled over, watching the smoke rise up before getting to her feet again. She looked back to Kai with a grin expression, “Come on, kiddo.. we should find Isago.. maybe he went towards the harbour..” she sniffed and started to head that way.

The Captain felt the air shift before the building behind him exploded. He fell onto a woman and shielded her from the blast and yelled, feeling the heat and debris storm. He rolled from the woman, who thanked him before running off to find her companion. He hissed in pain as he shifted his foot and looked at the burning shell of a building, “Wonder if that guy got out.. sure hope so...” he muttered, not recalling seeing the man escape.

Kai was relieved to see Ratte getting up from the layer of debris on the ground which the explosion had caused. She seemed to be alright at least. When she suggested that they look for the other member of their group at the harbor, he only nodded at her and went along, recalling that it was the place he had been heading out to before the whole chain of crazy events leading up to the destruction of tavern took place. As they made their way there, he could only hope that Isago was alright as well, and that he was where Ratte guessed he would be.

There was no sign of anyone else besides them at the harbor when they reached the place, as it was expected such an hour. Away from the commotion and chaos of the earlier occurrence, Kai immediately felt better. He found comfort in the salty sea air, the stars in the open night sky, and the sound of the ocean waves, remembering how it was what he used to have almost every night. Making his way out along one of the docks, he then to a seat at the edge of it and shut his eyes for a while, relishing the peace and quiet of his surroundings. He longed to be out at sea again, but for now, the memories of that freedom would have to suffice.

With a long sigh, he stood up and turned to Ratte. "It's been a rough night, I just... needed a moment. We can look for Isago now."

Jack had heard the explosion of the tavern yet paid it no mind as he went with a drunken gait to the harbor expecting it to be empty at this time yet he saw two people one looked as if they should be out at sea the other not so much, he paid them no mind rather favoring sitting down against a wall to finish off the bottle he had in his hand.

The explosion shook the city. Or at least the block around it. Debris went flying everywhere. Some of the pieces were bigger than others. It would take some time to get it all cleaned up. Luckily this late at night there weren't many people out so no one was seriously hurt. But those would be looked for by the city guards. The fire burned brightly casting shadows everywhere. One on the roof tops seemed to move on its own.
