Dead Cruiser Dishonour Before Death / Better You Than Me

@Sep Okay, I can ponder this for a while.

I can figure out a way to phrase it better in the CS eventually but my plan for Thor is to have him butt heads with other Gods (and "Gods" and other divine or transcendent beings) as part of an examination of what it means to be a God in a comic book universe, and how divinity/myth intersects with superheroism.

Admittedly I'm not as familiar with Marvel stuff as I am with DC, so Thor's Golden Age rogue's gallery may be left to molder as time goes on. Maybe he'll kick the Absorbing Man's ass a couple times for fun, we'll see.

Edit: I named Loki in the CS, and have very purposefully steered around the character so far. It would be pretty cool if someone wanted to play him. I also have plans for Hela and Baldur, as Odin's court at this time is much less concerned with appearances than it is with ruling a cosmic empire. Also, while I didn't mention her explicitly, I plan for Gaea to make an appearance later down the road.

Wow, that's a lot of likes for my 2nd post. I'm still trying to finish editing it since it was so late last night when I wrote the post.

I've written Loki in the past. Is there a particular Loki you're going for? Lady Loki? President Loki? Crocodile Loki?

Also, obligatory.

@Sep Metaphor, although it might have been funny just for everyone to see him fall out a plane.

I consider myself to be okay with describing stuff not writing out a fight scene.

@Bounce I haven't seen any of the Loki show; too apathetic about more MCU Disney garbage. I think the ideal Loki for my Thor would be his brother and rival.

I shall ponder this.

Edit: Could one of the GMs clarify the posting requirements for Supporting Characters for me? Obviously, in the midst of a Loki plot, I'd be posting consistently, but when Thor doesn't need Loki around (or the plot doesn't call for Loki or needs to exclude Loki for story reasons), do I need to come up with a plot to drive Loki separately for the sake of getting a post in every 14 days? Or do support characters just pop in when required?

Granted, I could see Loki being Roaming, particularly as I don't ascribe to a strictly antagonistic interpretation of the Trickster God.

I asked something similar before applying for Booster due to similar concerns. The answer I received was:

I'm going to say that the posting requirement is more of a guideline for supporting characters because you do make a good point in that there might not be a plot for them to jump into, however, there's definitely a stipulation if someone comes along and wants to make them a driving character that you need to move or get out of the way. We don't want to encourage people to camp on characters for the sake of claiming them either.

You can also just guest write a character for as long as needed by the driving player. This just requires an agreement between the two players and no sheet. That said, if you're only guest writing and someone comes along with an application for that character, you'd have to either step aside or put up a competing application. But everything in the IC becomes canon they'd have to follow.

Roaming Loki would be cool, like I said I figured someone would want him so as long as he and Thor can have some kind of relationship it should be cool.

That is, assuming my Thor is accepted lol

Yeah, it's the struggle. Basically I get really caught up trying to write in really sophisticated structures to the point where I never actually finish my post. So my new strategy is to achieve about fifty percent of what I want, post and do emergency damage control edits so that my anxiety brain can shut the fuck up and I can actually make progress
