Somewhere in her early twenties

Poppy's most striking feature is her long deep red hair. Her facial features are sharp, coming down in a v shape. The sharp angles are offset by large mellow green eyes and a small pensive mouth. She possesses a petite frame, light and agile with smooth ivory skin.

Her battle attire is made up out of a cotton blouse, a leather corset, arm guards, form fitting pants, heeled boots and finally a hooded shawl. A recurring motif in the outfit is her namesake flower, the red poppy. It is embroidered on her blouse sleeves and the borders of her shawl.

The mask she uses is constructed of a lightweight metal and tempered glass. It's shaped to fit her face and not obstruct her line of sight, easily adjustable with leather straps and buttons. In an attempt to add some beautification to the crude mask, the metalworker shaped the buttons into metal flower buds. She carries a small oxygen bottle crafted from the same materials. It is roughly the size of a thermos.

Outside of the battlefield she can often be seen in a simple off the shoulder blouse in muted tones of green or blue along with patchwork pants and sturdy leather boots. She has a few simple pieces of jewelry, designed to resemble flowering vines.

Serious - Enigmatic - Sympathetic - Faithful - Obsessive

Wings. Poppy has two pairs of lanceolate leaf wings sprouting from her back. They flap incredibly fast and make a soft buzzing sound. It is nearly impossible to spot individual wings while they move. They allow Poppy to hover in place, reach high places with ease and assault enemies from the sky. When in rest they fall flat against her back, folding over each other.

A desolate fairy searching for something important.

Shortly after coming into existence Poppy was captured by a renegade group of the Provisional government. Made up out of both Revenants and humans they kept her locked in a greenhouse, to provide them with medicine and food. The renegades treated her poorly and while she wasn't tortured, captivity dulled her spirit. She lived like this for years until one of the humans managed to break her out. They escaped together but eventually they were recaptured. Poppy was placed into a cryosleep, to serve as a backup for the current Sidhe.

Years later the renegades headquarters was attacked by the Lost. In the ensuing chaos Poppy was freed again. Unable to fight because of her weakened state she saved herself by breathing life to a field of poppy's. Surrounded by sleeping Lost she recovered and fled.

❁ Medicine making. Poppy specializes in creating Laudanum, a reddish-brown and extremely bitter fluid. It's mainly used to relieve pain.
❁ First aid and triage. She knows how to treat wounds on the battlefield and take care of people in shock. She can deal with fever, poisoning and a myriad of other ailments.

❁ Opium bombs. A more potent form of opium crafted into remote controlled exploding spheres. It produces a powerful version of the drug making anyone who inhales it drowsy, disorientated or even fall asleep on the spot.
❁ Repeater crossbow. Strapped to her wrist it can rapidly discharge 7-10 bolts in 15-20 seconds.
❁ Sleeper knife. As a last-ditch effort this knife has a hollow compartment filled with a single dose of opium. It puts her targets to sleep, forever.

🥀 Frail. Her build is fragile, physically she's about as strong as a human. When up against a powerful Lost, speed and evasion are the keys to her survival.
🥀 Ammunition. Everything Poppy uses is limited to how much of it she can carry. Crossbow bolts, bombs and medicine. When she runs out her utility greatly decreases.
🥀 Pollution. Lethal when exposed to it for extended periods of time or in a high dosage. There aren't many places where she can remove her mask safely.

💔 Poppy has a handful of mementos of immense personal value to her. She keeps them in a locked box, hidden somewhere in her room.
🧁 Lemon cakes are her favorite food.

Erik stands at 6ft 1in, weighing approximately 200lbs. His skin holds a dark complexion that paints his athletic-toned physique. Upon his head is a bundle of straight white dyed hair, a look he maintains in a world where people can easily forget who he is. The man’s logic is if he has features that stand out to others, he’ll be easier to remember. Though he’s unsure if this actually works, thinking that it does is enough to keep him faithful to his appearance. The thing people will truly remember is that smile of his. Even in some of the toughest of times, he keeps it almost painted over his face. It can be seen as him being optimistic, but it’s more of his way of saying “everything will be okay.”

When it comes to attire, Erik usually wears black because he believes it makes people look thinner and it matches with all manner of occasions and dress. When traveling through the Lost infested city, Erik simply wears leather that also allows him to move freely. Armor isn’t something he invests in due to his blood type. During leisure, Erik can be spotted dressing in formal attire but made to be comfortable. A few buttons undone, sleeves rolled up past the elbow, or maybe even the wrong type of shoes. It speaks volumes about his personality. Neat, but not standard.

Confident, Kind, Passionate, Stubborn, Unconventional

APOLLO / O - Erik possesses the ability to create barriers due to his blood type but has found an interesting way to utilize this ability. Like others with the O blood type, Erik is capable of creating wall and dome-shaped barriers for protection and to limit the advancement of his foes. The most intricate part of his barrier conjuration is his ability to shape these projections of energy. The smaller the barrier construct, the easier it is to manipulate. So much so, that he can coat his blades with his barriers to increase their durability. Erik can also augment the nature of his strikes in this way, making them sharper or duller, the latter being an easier feat. Erik’s most cherished use of his ability besides protection would have to be his ability to shape his barriers into arrow-shaped constructs to serve as ammunition for his ranged attacks. It’s not out of the ordinary to spot the man playing with a small barrier in his hands to pass time. His barriers manipulation and potency seem to take away from the length of time he can keep them projected. Erik has noted seeing others of his blood type maintaining barriers for much longer durations than himself while he uses his own to make quick constructs for the set moment in time rather than for sustained use. His barriers are gold and appear as if kissed by flames.

☀️ MARKSMAN: Whether bow or rifle, Erik possesses an aptitude for ranged combat. Along with the rest of his repertoire, he finds he's best placed at a middle range.

☀️ SWORDSMAN - Once Erik gained enhanced physical prowess from becoming a revenant, he decided to add swordsmanship to his combat. Though he carries two swords, he only ever uses the one depicting half of a sun on it. He claims the other unused sword brings him luck.

☀️ SCAVENGER - Erik has been around long enough to know where to scavenge. The man has an eye for useful resources, even things that can be repurposed for other uses.

☀️ HANDY-MAN - Erik isn't a professional mechanic, blacksmith, or armorer, but he's decent with his hands and willing to patchwork something back together or make a funky-looking gizmo in place of something that was lost or broken. With the right tools and parts, he can repair most things for at least temporary use.

☀️ NAVIGATOR - Erik doesn't just know the ruined city well, he knows how to move through it. He knows where Lost are likely to gather and has knowledge of temporary safe spots to catch your breath. His navigation skills also include his ability to move through the city fluidly. This is a benefit for quick escapes or swift advances.

LIMITATIONS:
☀️ Erik’s barriers are as spontaneous as he is. They don’t remain up for long which requires him to constantly summon/cast them if he is aiming for long-term usage. It works well with keeping him from getting complacent, but the guy can’t even take a moment to relax under the protection of his own barriers.

☀️ Erik suffers from a sort of restlessness in his desire to try to be the big brother of the group. This can leave him tired despite the bombastic air about him.

WEAKNESSES:
☀️ Erik’s optimism can sometimes be a hindrance in planning and action when it comes to others. Erik’s “glass is half full” mentality can cause him to be complacent in planning and preparation. He sees others as their best selves. Sometimes it works in motivating his allies, but it can also lead to disappointing results.

☀️ Erik is prone to being overworked even if he doesn’t show it. He’s a powerful ally to have fighting alongside you, but he’ll try to pull his weight, your weight, and the other guy’s too.

Erik is often the first to wake for the day and the last to turn in for the night. He’s quite open and nothing is off-limits during a discussion. He thinks the Sidhe are probably the coolest thing he’s come across post the Great Collapse.

Type AB - Deemed one of the more potent AB revenants, Ajax likely has the most well-rounded set of physical enhancements. If anything were to stick out, however, it’d likely be his agility and dexterity. He possesses a surprising amount of muscle memory from his ‘former’ life, which enables him to both understand and control his body better than most of his peers. Compounded with this is his relationship to the parasite, which can send his regenerative abilities and pain tolerance into overdrive under certain circumstances. His color code is scarlet.

$Martial Artistry - His muscle memory determines that he is most naturally suited to martial arts, drastically shortening the journey of ‘relearning’ them during his time under Cerberus. He has exhibited moves relating to Wushu, Muay Thai, and Krav Maga among others in his fighting style. As far as melee weapons are concerned, he has an affinity for swords, whether one or two handed.

$Marksmanship - Although not his specialty, he is no slouch in terms of accuracy with a variety of ranged weapons. He tends to be better with weapons that have slower fire rates, taking more to ‘archaic’ weapon styles.

$Free-Parkourist - His agility in tandem with his body control allows him to traverse different landscapes with speed, fluidity, and efficiency.

$Multilingual - Despite settlements being few and far between, it helps to be able to understand several languages anyway. Most of which he studied through the time he’s been a revenant, but there are a few that he seems to inherently understand possibly by obscured memory.

$Hunting Detective - A combination of senses and experience make it easy to track and find things. Moreover, his experience on the field along with training has enabled him to use logic and evidence to put together situations, scenes, and POIs even when there is only little to work with. He has quickly made these traits become a vital skill, given his goal of trying to find his family.

$Drawing - In a world where memory is short, he’s found a hobby in chronicling things that he’s seen or thought about through pictures.

#Bladema$ter - Among Ajax’ most distinguished of skills is his ability to wield swords. The most unique thing about him in particular though, is the capability of juggling a third blade, essentially tri-wielding one-handed swords. He usually only carries a specialized double-edged jian, but the amount and types of swords equipped can vary with the danger involved in the current mission. He also typically carries two curved knives on his person in different locations for quick access.

#Shurikens - Although seeming a little redundant at first, he has varying types of trick shurikens that he carries with him. Stakes are pipe bombs, Stars are acidic, and the curved knives double as extra sharp boomerangs for reuse.

Miasma Rage - Ajax is particularly vulnerable to the substance as he’s been exposed to a lot of it during the years. There have been many instances where he’s almost been Lost but strangely opposed to what usually happens, Ajax doesn’t succumb to a manic frenzy. Instead, it is channeled into a violent outburst that he is capable of recovering from.

Reports indicate that in the field, he used the Rage to clear a battlefield of Lost without friendly fire before passing out. It is theorized that his aforementioned enigmatic relationship to the BOR in his system is the source, but tests have not confirmed or denied anything. What is known is that Ajax undergoes these bursts when exposed to even small amounts of the chemical, making his mask vital in particular.

Bayonette Range - While capable of using the weapon, his accuracy with it is highly limited on how long he has to aim it when at long range. In the short range, he finds it redundant, and uses the other projectiles that he carries that he is more accurate with, thus he never carries a rifle.

CQC Flaw - Being that he is a close quarters sort of fighter, it leaves him more vulnerable to his mask getting damaged. Although previous situations where he’s gone into his Miasma Rage have proven to have little to no friendly casualties, there’s no telling when the day will come that changes the statistic.

Shurikens - Can feasibly only carry about 20 at a time, majority of which stored on the inside of his coat: 6 acidic stars, 4 bomb stakes, 6 regular shuriken, 4 regular stakes. Critical strikes are crucial with the regular versions, or they would be otherwise impractical for combatting the Lost.

Ajax always carries a small drawing he made of the girl most prominent in his memory on his person at all times.

The most striking feature that Desmond has besides his amber eyes is his missing right eye. Which he lost during a fight with a Lost and wearing a black eyepatch over it. In his downtime, Desmond wears a white t-shirt with a black coat. With black cargo pants and running shoes.

His battle attire consists of a leather jacket and cargo pants. With a metal chest plate and wearing black combat gloves. Along with two armguards and metal shoulder pads.

Vengeful, Adaptable, Protective, Brave, Caring

Desmond the youngest of two was born to a small human settlement. While life was not perfect by a long shoot for Desmond and his family in this landscape but it was their life and they were getting by in their settlement. His parents would teach them how to survive and how to fight. Along with other skills that the other people in the settlement would teach them. He would grow close to his sister and they would often spar with each other to help keep the other strong. For years it would be like this up until a large group of Lost attack. Despite the best efforts of the defenders, the settlement was overrun and in the chaos. Desmond was wounded and lost his right eye and his sister was badly wounded but, the two managed to escape. After finding a place to rest, Desmond tried to save his sister but, there was nothing he could do and she died in his arms. Only him to pass out due to blood loss.

The next thing he knew, Desmond awoke up in an infirmary and it turned out. That a friendly group of Revenants had discovered the two and opted to bring them to safety and his sister was given a BOR parasite to turn her into a Revenant. Started as soon as her body was brought back, and Desmond had mixed feelings about this. While he was glad that his sister would live again, but seeing her turn into a blood-craving being that could turn into a Lost if not given enough blood. He is not quite sure about the whole thing and seeing how he is now in the custody of the Provisional government. With no home to return to and no knowledge of any other human settlement. Desmond elected to stay and wait for his sister to wake up.

Keen scavenger - Years spent surviving within his home settlement and Desomand had picked up a knack for finding valuable salvage that can be used for other uses.

Polearm Fighter - Due to the danger of the Lost and how fragile humans are to a Lost. Desmond had been taught how to use polearms for their reach, mainly his glaive.

Firearms Expert - Along with a knowledge of what firearms his settlement had and since ammo was hard to come by. Desmond is a good shot with them, mainly rifles.

Agile Fighter - Due to how fragile humans are to a Lost, Desmond has trained to be Agile with fighting a Lost. Even though he wears armor to protect himself, that is for the rare cases he takes a hit from a Lost. Otherwise, he fighters while staying on his feet.

Glaive - A steel glaive that Desmond uses as his melee weapon.

Rifle - Desmond's personal firearm and slung on his back, it is a single-shot rifle that holds up to 30 shots before he has to reload.

Knife - A steel knife that Desmond uses as a backup weapon if he loses his glaive and can be used for other purposes.

Armor - Metal chest plate along with two armguards and metal shoulder pads.

Poor depth perception - After losing his right eye, Desmond has had trouble with his depth perception.

Cerise is of fair complexion, possessing short near-white hair with a faint tint of rosy hue that is usually adorned with a simple dark hued headband which contrasted well with her hair. A calm expression with a soft smile most often graced her face, showing an innocence that remained despite the world she now lives in. Standing at 153cm(5 feet) tall, her figure is slender and thin, a result of both being turned into a Revenant in her teenage years and due to a certain other cause back when she were still a human. The most unusual of her facial features are her eyes; a case of heterochromia with her left eye being light green and her right eye light blue.

During downtime she prefers to wear long-sleeved shirts which are topped with a loose-fitting dress and then covered further with a significantly oversized dress coat as her tops, and simple skirts for bottom. These clothing are often old and worn, salvaged ones that are damaged but otherwise still functional. A pair of long below-knees socks and a pair of comfortable shoes completes her ensemble.

In action, a sturdier get-up covers her body. Thick, dark-hued long-sleeved sweater topped with thicker still military style coat protects her from the elements without restricting her freedom of movements. Her mask, an essential part of this set of "mission" outfit, is of simple functional design and is lightweight, colored black with red lines and logo of the same tint as the color of her glowing red eyes when engaging her blood power.

Calm・Docile・Emphatic・Trusting・Warm

A calm girl with a warm demeanor, Cerise is one of those individuals who retained a significant degree of positivity despite the horrible state of the world. She continues to believe that there is hope yet for a peaceful world where people no longer need to live in fear of a constant and ever present threat, and that this can be achieved so long as people cooperated with and trust each other. It is natural then that her disposition is that of care, trust, and warmth toward her fellow survivors whom she sees as dear comrades to support each other with.

On the flip side, this naturally warm disposition came with a kind of docility and almost unbearable innocence. She is unlikely to argue with others, believing that she should not force her opinions and thoughts on others, even when it is actually better to debate and argue for her sake or others or both. At the extreme, some people might see her as someone who cannot stand up to her own principles due to how easily she backs down from arguments. Furthermore, her tendency to trust can backfire badly, as there are of course people that really should not be trusted.

Type B - Arachne
A very significant part of her repertoire of abilities that made up for her rather low raw physical capabilities for a Revenant, Cerise's control over her blood power is on the higher side of the scale; not in anyway perfect and with rooms for growth but also not to be underestimated. The speed upon which she is able to turn into shadowy tendrils to disappear is higher than average, matched by the high accuracy of reappearing exactly where she wanted to. The distance upon which she is able to perform this teleportation, while remaining short, is also higher than average. Furthermore, she is able to use her shadowy tendrils to attach herself to most solid surfaces. This allowed her to reappear in unusual places such as upside down on a ceiling or hanging with her back attached to a wall, greatly complimenting her ability as a scout and sharpshooter.

The signature energy color of her blood power is Cerise, just like her current name.

Little remained of the memories that made up Cerise's past. Even her current name was something that she took on sometime after becoming a Revenant, her birth name unknown to even herself. What she were able to recall of her past came in fleeting fragments, as if pieces of a puzzle that were waiting to be made whole yet remaining impossible due to the numerous missing pieces.

A stern faced man in a white coat. Machinery. Dozens of medicine bottles. Plain white ceiling. The previous smiling figures, now crying. Bloodied bed sheets. A dark hospital room. The white ceiling, ruined. Blinding bright lights | Scents. Faint fragrance of cherry blossoms. Aroma of kitchen spices. Sweet scent of sugar. Sterile odor of a hospital. Artificial smell of medicines. Metallic tang of blood. Stench of the dying | Sounds. The chirping of little birds. Bright laughter of a girl. A train passing through on its rails. Gentle breeze of wind. Mechanical beeping. Drops of rain hitting a window. Sorrowful crying. Mechanical whirring. Horror filled screams. Booming explosion. Liquid dripping on solid surface. Soft mumbled whispers.

Even the memories of her early time as a Revenant were nothing more than blurs for her. She couldn't remember exactly when and where she awakened as one of the living dead. Still, regardless of all her lost memories, Cerise convinced herself that it didn't matter. She resolved that it were the present and the future that needed caring. Despite the dark and bleak world, there remained hope that the world can be fixed. Much of it might be fragmented and blurry, but she can clearly remember that for many years, she had remained on the move. Always in the company of others, supporting and helping each other in the struggle to survive and to rebuild what can be rebuilt. Thus, she believed that she needed to continue doing so. Who she really were in the past doesn't have any effect on the things that she were able to do to survive and build a better future for herself and her comrades.

Yet, was that really the truth? Deep down, under all the optimism and positivity, there were fear and dread. The girl who called herself Cerise was in reality frightened of her own lost memories. One day, if the puzzle ever become complete, would she really remain the same person? If the fragments were gathered and became whole, what will be waiting for her? In the end, were everything that she had done nothing more than distraction? A way for her to run away from the unknown still waiting for her? She cannot help but fear it. Every time she recalled of the images, the scents, and the sounds, nothing ever came out of it.

Nothing, except for the crushing pain grasping at her heart.

SKILLS:
・Scouting: Cerise had developed significant capabilities in scouting and stealth owing to her many years of experience in fleeing from dangers, remaining hidden, scavenging, identifying potential threats or supplies, analyzing terrains and routes, spotting unusual details, and properly keeping information on all of it.
・Sharpshooting & Spotting: Cerise's preferred method of engagement when combat is unavoidable is to provide long ranged support for her allies, making up for her lower physical capabilities for a Revenant and her lack of any significant close combat capabilities. Developed to a rather high level, Cerise is capable of providing support not only by sniping and eliminating crucial targets, but also by spotting incoming threats and accordingly alerting her comrades of their presence.
・Shrink: Due to her empathic and warm personality, Cerise made for a naturally capable psychological shrink despite having no formal training in it. She is always ready to provide a shoulder to lean on and ears to patiently listen to the worries and fears of her friends and allies without judgment.

EQUIPMENT:
・Lariat: Cerise's weapon. A long scoped rifle fitted with a blade under the muzzle, Lariat packs a lot of punch with each shot to compensate for its slow rate of fire. In the hands of a capable sharpshooter like Cerise, it is potentially capable of eliminating targets as far as 900 meters away. As for the blade, it was made not for the purpose of eliminating hostiles, but rather to keep them at bay and to give Cerise a better chance in withdrawing from close ranged engagements.

・Mask: Simple and lightweight, Cerise's mask provides her with the standard functions of a Revenant's purifier mask, mainly to protect her from the harmful effects of the Lost's miasma.

・Low Physical Capabilities: Cerise possessed below average strength and vitality for a Revenant. While she remains somewhat stronger and can endure more damage than a human, she is unlikely to win any contest in those aspects against even just the average Revenant. Furthermore, her stamina and agility are also only average for a Revenant, thus her great reliance on her blood power when driven into a pinch.
・Low Close Combat Capabilities: Low physical capabilities alone can be compensated by possessing superior skills. For example, a slower and weaker swords master is still going to easily outperform and defeat a faster and stronger swords newbie. Alas, Cerise possessed no such skill, making her ineffective in close quarter combat.
・Docile: Her docile nature can be a significant disadvantage in crucial situations. This great aversion towards argument and debate comes with the risk of letting go of her ideas even when she knows that doing so can be detrimental to herself and her comrades.
・Trusting: Her tendency to easily trust others is an easy path for unsavory individuals to exploit and take advantage of her otherwise affable nature.

Lysandra is 32 years old. Her birthday is on October 5

The first (and often only) thing that people remember about Lysandra is her wheelchair. It's a simple, sturdy, lightweight manual chair and, as a paraplegic of four years, she uses it from dawn to dusk in order get around. Otherwise, she's a more or less baseline human: a fairly pretty Asian woman in her early thirties with tanned skin, dark hair and eyes, and a businesslike bearing. She is not and never has been much for dressing up and would rather dress for functionality and comfort. Layering is a rule to live by. It's easier to take something off than to put it on. To that end, her usual attire consists of a light t-shirt over a sports bra, jeans or leggings - the latter sometimes paired with jean shorts - and knee or thigh-high socks. Sometimes, she'll toss on some flats, but shoes are pretty irrelevant. Sturdy gloves - usually fingerless to allow her to work with touch screens - are more important, as they protect her hands from blisters. On colder days, She'll complete the outfit with a jacket. She has two and both have a striped patch in mint, seafoam green, and white sewn onto them: the flag of the settlement that she used to live in and where her brother still resides. Finally, though she rarely actually wears it as intended (because that'd be both inconvenient and goofy), is the supergirl medallion that she received from her mother as a girl. It's usually tucked into her bag or a jacket pocket as a kind of good luck charm. She tells herself that she doesn't believe in 'luck'; everything is probability. Yet, on the day when she broke her back, she didn't have it on her.

As a human, Lysandra doesn't require a mask, and this gives her one less thing to worry about, especially when she goes into the field. Of course, that doesn't happen often anymore. Much to her chagrin, the post-apocalypse isn't very wheelchair accessible. When fieldwork is necessary for research or intel, though, she brings along some sturdy cycling gloves, trades her handbag for a large backpack with seemingly endless pockets, and usually swaps out her indoor wheels for some with thicker, grippier treads, as well as larger front casters. In the past, she'd often wear motorcycle armour, hiking boots, and either athletic leggings or a baggy pocket-filled jumpsuit with elbow and knee pads. It was all about getting as deep into trouble spots as possible and quickness and durability were paramount. Nowadays, Lysandra usually forgoes anything that could hamper her already-limited mobility unless it clearly and directly helps her get more fieldwork done. Her primary goal is maximizing her returns on those brief outdoor sojourns and minimizing the physical liability that she represents. If enemies ever succeed in actually reaching her, she knows that the jig is pretty much up. Still, she's held onto her body armour, just in case. It's sturdy, lightweight, and can go under her jacket. She still has the knee pads too. Maybe she can't actually feel a knock to the knee, but it's also not like they'll hamper her movement. Besides, she kind of slips things in behind them. Why oh why do women not get usable pockets in most of their clothing!?

Daring ~ Unsentimental ~ Hyper-aware ~ Bitter ~ Clever ~ Assertive

At her worst, Lysandra can come across as a 'bossy know-it-all science lady'. She can seem cutting, acerbic, and pushy. A lot of this, however, is just frustration and barely-suppressed insecurity. The significant gulf between what she knows needs to be done and what she can accomplish on her own is an open wound, regularly picked at by circumstance. The other major factor is simply that she is used to being the smartest person in the room and it grates upon her to entertain other people's stupid ideas when they could be making progress towards their (read: her) goals instead.

That said, she's a genuinely decent human being beneath it all. Lysandra is an absolute encyclopedia of both general and esoteric knowledge. She is a human calculator, a problem solver, has an amazing eye for detail, and is a natural-born storyteller. She is genuinely one of the most interesting people who you will ever talk to and, on her better days, her cutting wit, self-deprecating humor, and straight-faced delivery can have you - instead of her - rolling with laughter.

Lysandra's mother was an engineer. Her father was a biologist. Both were born before the Great Collapse and were not young parents (forty one and forty, respectively). Her childhood was full of diligent work and research. It was full of movement and stories while on the move. She learned about the world that was: the great open green fields and forests, the safe, cozy homes, and the shining universities: beacons of learning and opportunity. Most of all, however, she accrued skills: she studied the nature of living and unliving things with her father. She learned the wonders of robotics, sensors, computers, and mechanics from her mother. Instead of playing with Lego, she hand built her first drone when she was seven. The family settled in the mid-sized and fiercely independent outpost of Fresh Haven. Lysandra and her slightly older brother, Daniel, grew up and their parents aged, so they took on increasingly important roles as scouts, field researchers, and even soldiers. In particular, she was quick and stealthy: an excellent scout and climber, with a natural aptitude for surveying and understanding her surroundings, using them to her advantage.

For all of the world's dangers, her father fell prey to a flu in his 61st year. Daniel, who'd become more of a soldier than his sister, was gone for long periods of time and their mother increasingly withdrew into tinkering with her dwindling supplies. Lysandra, telling herself that her mother's work was valuable in more ways than one, began roving ever further afield in search of parts. She conducted her own research while out there. It was frightening, but challenging. In some ways, it was invigorating, and better than just sitting in some hole waiting to die. She begun to feel as if she could get to the bottom of how and why mistle worked, the role of the Sidhe, and how the Earth might be healed. She begun to feel as if she had some agency in her life. Further she went, scouting ahead with her drones, infrared sensors, and binoculars. She saw and found things that most humans couldn't. She knew a little bit of martial arts and learned more. She taught herself how to shoot. There were close calls - hairbreadth escapes from death - and tense moments. She hid out, she climbed, leapt, and scampered from one safe place to another, and then plunged back into the lab after days or weeks out in the world. Her parents' stories of the years before she was born had instilled in her a wariness towards revenants. Their kind had feasted on humans, once. The only thing needed for them to return to it and become Lost was a short period of time without consuming human blood.

Her mother was in ill health when Lysandra went out that day, but she tried to put aside her worries. At a steady jog, she made quick progress through the well-mapped regions near Fresh Haven, fists clenched around the straps of her backpack and breath wispy and white in the cool air. Perhaps she was preoccupied with thoughts of her family. Perhaps she was just careless, but she ran smack into a pack of Lost. She took one out of the fight with a well-aimed shot to the head, but then there was no option but to do what she did best: run, climb, and hide. She dropped her backpack and took off, through the labyrinth of a ruined city. After what seemed like forever, two more fell off the pace. This was a bad situation - worse than the usual 'bad situations' - but she had escaped many times before and would again. Thirst clawed at her parched throat but one final Lost - a monster of a man - stayed doggedly on her tail. Further up a crumbling building she went, leaping nimbly from sagging staircase to rotting floor to support beam, and he started to falter. The jump is still burned into her memory: over a gap in a staircase. It was the type that you dismiss in your head as a 'ninety percent chance I'll land it'. She'd made ones like it plenty of times before and she doubted her pursuer would be able to follow. She'd be safe. The thing is, if you roll the dice enough times, the odds will catch up to you eventually. The floor had looked solid on the other side but it wasn't. It gave way instantly and Lysandra can still recall with absolute clarity those two seconds where her stomach just folded in on itself in terror. Then she hit.

She was told that a handful of revenants who'd been surveying the area had heard her gunshots. As a gesture of goodwill, they'd rescued her and brought her back to Fresh Haven but, in the weeks and months following that fateful fall, as people kept telling her that she was a 'warrior' and would surely walk again, as she had to relearn how to do basically everything, and as her elderly mother cared for her as if she were still a child, Lysandra began to wish that they hadn't. Mother passed away eight months after the accident and, officially, the strain of having to care for her grown daughter hadn't been a contributing cause. Daniel stepped away from his duties temporarily and she moved into his unit with his family, but it wasn't much more accessible than hers. The entire settlement was built in what had once been a vertical farm crisscrossed with staircases, scaffolds, and prefab walls that had formerly comprised her playground but that now meant that she couldn't go much of anywhere without assistance. Wracked with guilt and regret, Lysandra threw herself into her engineering pursuits, sitting in front of a work table for hours each day, hammering away at her mother's machines, digging through the endless piles of scrap that she had accumulated on her sojourns, and constructing drones to map, guard, and scout, water filters to help grow food and provide drink, and devices to supplement her broken body and make her remaining family's lives easier.

Soon, Daniel could not afford any more time away from his duties and so her nephew, niece, and sister-in-law became her protectors. This, Lysandra could not permit any longer. As she had hoped, she'd rediscovered a sense of purpose - an imperfect one, for it still hurt so much to not be whole - but enough to push her forward once more. This place, however, was holding her back. She was holding her family back. The revenants had saved her. She had judged them too harshly, she decided, on the basis of childhood fears and stories from people who were no longer alive. She was, though, and saw little point to living for herself alone. There were vanishingly few people with skillsets like hers and, even if she couldn't conduct much of her own fieldwork anymore, her skills were valuable - key, even. With the sort of bold decisiveness that had defined much of her life and a new unsentimentality that she had developed more recently, she bid farewell to Fresh Haven and joined civilization proper. She has been here for three years since, in an uneasy sort of alliance that allows her to shed some of her grating dependency while saddling her with more of a different nature. This arrangement may yet allow her to reach her goals, however: an end which justifies any means.

💡Bigbrain: Lysandra is just honest-to-goodness smart. She seems to regularly be a couple of (figurative) steps ahead of everybody else in most situations. She has a wealth of scientific and practical knowledge that can benefit her allies.
💡Mechanically Inclined: If there's a macguffin needed and anything that could possibly count as a tool, you can count on Lysandra to provide said macguffin, one way or another. She also creates numerous helpful devices, drones, and non-autonomous robots.
💡Tools of the Trade: The 'bossy know-it-all science lady' caries a backpack of wonders. It contains a first-aid kit, two-way radios, a multipurpose mask, dehydrated food, flashlights, thermal packs, wiring, glue, screwdrivers, pliers, and a dozen other travel-adapted, lightweight, well-machined tools that used to be her mother's. If you need something, chances are that she has it. She can also patch you up pretty well, though she definitely doesn't give much thought to pain management.
💡Crack Shot: Lysandra knows how to shoot - by God does she know how to shoot. She can usually calculate things like bullet drop, wind effects, and ricochet angle too. If forced out into the field, she carries one pistol in her bag (or on her lap if she finds herself in a hot zone), and a spare duct-taped to the underside of her wheelchair close to one of her wheels. She can pull it out or fire it unexpectedly with a quick sleight-of-hand when it looks like she's just reaching down to wheel herself.
💡Fledgling Hawkeye:Lys often carries a composite compound bow, which is quite compact and strapped to the back of her wheelchair. She's been working tirelessly (the only way that she knows) with Erik on archery and has equipped her arrows with all sorts of interesting payloads. In addition to good old-fashioned arrowheads, there are adhesive yields, high explosive, taser, smoke, sonic trap, hollow point, trackers, and barbed expanding heads. She generally carries two of each in her quiver. While Lysandra's nowhere close to Erik's elite level, she's respectable, helped along by her natural situational awareness, sense of aim, and fantastic upper-body strength. She is consistently able to hit a moving target or a small/faraway target, but not always as reliable if the target is both of those things.
💡Human Shopping Cart: It seems like a small thing but, as long as someone's willing to help push her, Lysandra can easily carry a couple hundred pounds worth of equipment, specimens, a bound and gagged prisoner, or even a lazy or injured ally. Revenants don't recover immediately, after all.
💡The Immortals: Four robotic helpers serve as Lysandra's agents both when she stays behind and in the uncommon instances when she goes into the field. They can operate either autonomously with limited AI capabilities (results may... vary when used this way) or be controlled one at a time via joystick and VR headset. She's working on a neural interface, but 'working on' is very much the operative term here. Loosely themed after the Four Immortals from Vietnamese legend, her agents are:

👩‍🦽Headset: When directly piloting one of the Immortals or her other creations beyond her sightline, Lysandra wears a VR headset linked to the drone's on-board camera. This leaves her detached from her immediate surroundings and vulnerable to attack unless she is safely away from a hot zone (where she knows that she should stay) or has an ally to watch her back.
👩‍🦽No Signal: Much of her utility is linked to her Four Immortals or other remote-controlled minions. If they stray out of signal range (about 3 miles or 5 kilometers) or if their signal is jammed somehow and they're forced to operate autonomously, she is much less effective and - if she is brave/foolish enough to be in the thick of things - much more vulnerable.
👩‍🦽Limited Charge: While she carries extra battery packs and a solar panel charger, these can only do so much. Once her Immortals are out of power, they're deadweight until they can get more. The same goes for the offensive ones' ammunition. She has a few refills, but extended missions can be...challenging.
👩‍🦽Limited Ammo: Space in Lys' bags is at a premium, and she doesn't carry many bullets. The same goes for her arrows. They take up quite a bit of space and are valuable with their unique payloads. They are best used only situationally, from long range or at pivotal moments when they can have the largest impact. By no stretch of the imagination is she a front-liner.
👩‍🦽Obstinate: Lysandra is used to knowing better. She will often dig in and insist upon the rightness of her opinions and preferred courses of action. She tends to aggressively prioritize her projects and ideas unless yours align with them.
👩‍🦽Fragile: At the end of the day, for all of the tech that she carries, the 'bossy know-it-all science lady' is human. She is not as physically capable as revenants and sidhe, which is compounded even further by her disability. Lysandra is painfully reminded every time that she watches a revenant recover from either fatal or crippling wounds that she is unable to do so herself. She gets one body to play the game of life with. Whatever happens to it (including death) sticks.
👩‍🦽Paraplegic: As a paraplegic, Lysandra has no feeling or movement below her waistline. This has the following effects:

Eager to fight - Passionate - Bit of a skirt chaser - Stubborn - Impatient - Unwaveringly loyal - Kind (in his own way) to his allies

AB - Vincent's blood type gives him enhanced strength and stamina, even when compared to some other Revenants who share the same blood type. While he enjoys using the biggest weapons he can get his hands on, he's also been known to fight bare-handed, as reckless as it might be. That said, in times when he had lost his weapon, he's been able to match some of the larger Lost in strength. His energy is red with flickers of orange, similar to a flame.

Due to his reckless fighting style, Vincent has dispersed so many times that his memory had been rendered nonexistant, scattered throughout the world as vestiges. This fact never seems to bother him, though a single, stubborn fragment seems intent on never fading away: the name "Erica." Over the decades since the Great Collapse, to the best of his memory, Vincent had been traveling here and there, clearing out Lost for settlements in exchange for blood.

- Due to his penchant for losing weapons, Vincnent makes due with whatever he can get his hands on, usually a large chunk of concrete attached to rebar or an abandoned weapon. This versatility has given him a rather flexible fighting style.

- He also carries a dead smartphone around with him. He isn't sure why, but the one thing he's sure of is that it's the one thing he couldn't bear to lose.

- Even for a Revenant, Vincent is surprisingly durable.

- In the event he loses his weapon, Vincent always wears a pair of studded leather gloves. In most other people's hands, they would be vastly inferior to other weapons, but thanks to Vincent's enhanced strength, they're just as viable an option as a sword or hammer.

- While reckless, Vincent isn't completely stupid. While it may look unassuming, the black coat he wears is incredibly durable, offering above average protection against physical damage.

- His recklessness, as stated before, has caused him to disperse before and may end up doing so again, or worse.

- Vincent has spent so long on his own that the idea of working with other people is foreign to him. That said, if someone were to become close with him, he would give his life to protect them.

- Vincent is almost useless to any problem that requires a lot of thinking.

Sean is of average height, 5'9", with short, perpetually wild dark hair, ardent green eyes, and a lithe, toned build. His most notable feature is his bionic right arm, which hides a multitude of tools and a hidden blade in the forearm. He normally wears jeans, a t-shirt, and boots. In the field, he also wears linothorax, torso armor made of layers of woven cloth glued together.

Tactical - Extroverted - Genius

Sean was born in a shelter that had been reserved for those from the higher rungs of society; doctors, scientists, politicians, and people with so much money that it was disgusting. His parents were physicists, which gave rise to not only his passion for the field, but also an almost ravenous appetite for learning. Physics, medicine, technology; whenever Sean came across a subject that caught his interest, he made it his mission to learn as much about it as he could.

It was this passion that eventually led to his recruitment in the provisional government's R&D division, where he spent most of his time studying revenants, the BOR parasite, and the lost. Over time, however, Sean began to realize he had lost his motivation to continue working for them. While the lab and almost limitless funds were nice, he felt he could only learn so much in a controlled setting and that his place was out in the field. He had tried to get permission through the proper channels numerous times, but was refused each time, since the government didn't want to risk losing him.

A few bribes here, a blackmail or two there, however, and Sean was able to get what he wanted.

- Genius-level intellect: While specialized in physics and chemistry, he also has extensive knowledge in medicine, bionics, and several other fields

- Being artificial, his right arm can be used as a defensive tool, as well as offensive with a blade hidden in the topside of his forearm, a small caliber, single-shot firearm on the underside, and retractable knuckle studs.

- Being human, Sean is squishy, especially in comparison to revenants and Sidhe and it takes longer for him to heal when wounded.

- While Sean has taken steps to protect it from the elements, his arm still requires routine maintenance to remain functional.

- Sean only has limited knowledge of hand-to-hand combat. While he is equipped for it, Sean relies on his mind to outsmart a physically superior opponent. Failing that, the best he can do is hold out until help arrives, if it does.

- Sean is a smoker. While he doesn't smoke enough to hamper his physical abilities too much, at most one cigarette a day, if he goes too long without a smoke, he'll grow irritable, restless, and lose focus more easily.

The more veteran members of the Commune may know him. Throughout his travels, Sean sells his vast array of skills and knowledge in exchange for supplies, so he may have visited the Commune a few times over the years.

He has a tendency to swear in Irish when frustrated.

Tall & Lanky- No, seriously. Indigo stands at 6'5, built like they barely ate in their life, a stark contrast to their physical prowess.

Androgynous- Gender roles don't pertain to Indigo, nor do gender-specific appearances.

The Physical- Their hair is a mop of black with a birthmark on their scalp that turns a chunk of it white-blonde. Their eyes are a storm of greys and blues that tend to give off the appearance that they have the eyes of a corpse, fittingly so, being that they were one for a while. Under stimuli, UV purple energy can be seen flickering in their pale irises. Their skin is pallid and almost sickly-pale. They have long limbs, long fingers, and good posture.

A Punk in their Past Life- Indigo prefers grungy clothing with rips and tears. Their casual outfit consists of these, though it's hard to tell which rips were on purpose and which tears were simply from being a homeless vagrant for a long period of time. Their mission attire consists of a homemade "battle-jacket" that is covered in random patches, tears, chains, spikes, and the like. Black pants are the staple for Indigo most of the time, whether on a mission or just casual. Another constant in their wardrobe is their large, scary-looking combat boots that they woke up with, also black and scuffed from assumedly years of use and abuse.

Ink & Metal- Indigo has tattoos all over their body, except their face. There is still space to be able to see the pale skin that sits below, but they have a significant amount of ink on them. Their piercings consist of; two bars through their tongue, a medusa that sits on their cupid's bow, a ring in the middle of their bottom lip, and a bar through their bridge. Their chest has also been pierced, but those are often not visible thanks to their loose shirts. Their ears are gauged to just over a half-inch, with four more piercings on each ear, some in cartilage, some in the lobe.

Inquisitive - Off-Kilter - A Bit Strange - Charming

Inquisitive- Indigo will be the first one to ask questions, even if it's not a question anyone else might have. Their brain craves information no matter if someone else sees it as useful or not. They are curious to a fault.

Off-Kilter- There's something off about Indigo, perhaps it's the fact that they manage to be socially awkward and charming at the same time., or how quickly they can change from that charming character to a feral beast. People in the world before the Collapse might've chalked it up to mental illness.

A Bit Strange- Can you blame them? Being alone for most of their previous and current life has done a number to the way they interact with the world and those who live in it. They mean no harm to anyone who has the same intentions for them, but might still leave an odd taste in the mouths of those who meet them.

"Something ain't quite right about that kid."

Charming- Indigo naturally is very kind and friendly to people who don't pose a threat to them, and will go out of their way to help with tasks, bond with people, and try their best to make anyone in their presence feel welcome. They know what it's like to be an outcast, and would rather not see someone else go through the same.

AB+ - Indigo is incredibly strong, fast, and agile. They use their abilities to as much of their advantage as possible, even if it means harming themselves in the process.

Their energy colour is a UV purple, like a blacklight.

Indigo cannot remember the troubled life they led before their awakening. Even if they could, they'd most likely prefer not to. They grew up in an absent household of inexperienced first-time parents that were in no way ready for a child. Never really getting enough care or nurturing, Indigo was exposed to the cold of the world before they knew how to process it correctly. They left their space early, a vagabond that traipsed through the abandoned streets carelessly. They hadn't a great sense of self-preservation, leading to their early but inevitable demise. (Hiding the rest for the story)

Empty Handed- Indigo's main weapon is themselves. Due to their ferocity in battle, they prefer to rip apart their opponents with their bare hands. Their punches and kicks are fueled by their supernatural strength.

Throwing- They are also extremely adept at throwing blades. Their strength allows them to fling things, usually knives, through the air at terrifying speeds with incredible accuracy. Just about wherever you could possibly keep one, they have one hidden on their person.

The Zoomies- When they're not leading a frontal assault on an enemy, they're running around at impressive speeds, throwing knives or whatever objects they have, causing annoyances to help distract their targets and get them out of their element.

Movement & Acrobatics- They like the element of surprise it gives in their fights. The way they move about in battle is a bout of graceful chaos, a dance with no rhyme or reason other than a means to an end. They're well-versed in acrobatics, often parkouring to vantage points or simply for leisure and exertion of energy.

Achery- Indigo first learned how to use a bow and arrow, but lacks either of those on their person due to losing the items long ago while fleeing from an unfair fight.

Obliviously Observant- Though Indigo spends most of their time listening and absorbing information, due to their social ineptitude, they tend to completely oversee some more obvious things in conversations with others. When having to do things such as catch double-meanings and read between the lines, often Indigo will come up short and have no idea when something goes right over their head.

Over-exertion- Indigo tends to push themselves too far when it comes to their abilities, often lifting things far to heavy to the point where blood gushes from their nose. Their strength's limit reaches its peak at around the weight of a vehicle. Their stamina peak can fluctuate depending on the situation. If they're zooming for too long without giving themselves a chance to catch a breath, they'll often stop abruptly to throw up and/or collapse. They don't feel satisfied until they're sure they've done everything they can and they're trembling on the ground in a puddle of exhaustion.

Pride & Loyalty- They have a hell of a time backing down from a challenge, a weakness that lead to their downfall in their previous lifetime. They've associated fighting with blood, and so a Pavlovian response will often take over. Indigo is also loyal to a fault, and if they decide to attach themselves to a person or people, they will fight for those individuals until their head rolls.

Feral- Indigo takes all of their frustrations and pent-up emotions out in battle. They perk up at the sound of a fight, and often will be the first one to jump into one. They don't necessarily instigate, but their blood thirst doesn't assist with peaceful solutions. They crave the adrenaline rush that fighting gives them. It's hard to get them to stop once they've started.

Indigo is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns. They do not present as either masculine or feminine dominantly. Dominantly Androgynous.
