Awww, missed the Interest Check for this. So, i know the answer in the last one was No, but i have to try again:

Transformers USED to be part of Marvel Lore, would i be allowed to do a story of a small band of Autobots vs a small band of Decepticons? Not like the Michael Bay films where they annihilate an entire city in every engagement. Gonna play up the "Robots In Disguise" angle, so tends to be smaller engagements away from the towns and cities as both sides realize "We can't take on the entire of Humanity yet, so gotta bide time or we're getting captured and vivisected."

I'm trying to tag Master Bruce, but for some reason, the site refuses to stop crashing when i try too @ anyone in the post.

I'm only a consulting GM, but I don't think Transformers are really in the 'spirit' of the game that Master Bruce is running here.

As i said, it was a no last time, and the worst i can get this time is a "Still no, dickhead" but i can take that. But i think the idea of "Aliens who need to keep their identity a secret, while battling other aliens with secret identities" would fit in well in a Marvel/DC universe. Kinda like what Skybound is doing, except i don't plan to kill a beloved fan-favourite character twice every page and expect people to still be shocked after 10 issues of that shit.

I suspect you're right and he'll agree with you, but ultimately, putting my best foot forward and getting rejected is something i can live with. I'll also get thinking of a secondary idea. Being that we don't seem to have a Spider-Man yet, i might try my hat in that always very popular ring.

Clearly Peter Parker was a normal research assistant for a military project during the Reach War. During a weapons test he saved the life of a kid who wandered onto the range, he was bitten by a spider just as he was infused with a massive dose of radiation turning him into the SPIDER-HULK.



You wouldn't like him when he's feeling responsible...

Marvel printed a comic of Transformers in their own universe with Marvel heroes interacting with them, but they were never part of 616 lore - it was always a situation of the Transformers having to be accomodated with their own reality to weave the heroes in, not the other way around. Moreover, I don't feel that this game really lends itself to Autobots and Decepticons co-existing with a political intrigue story about the government versus metahumans. Transformers tend to shift the focus of any story towards their existence, and I can't see how it wouldn't be really distracting to have them pop up in the midst of any interactions. I'm gonna have to say no this time, aswell.

The Batman I grew up with had devoted soundtracks featuring U2, Seal, the Smashing Pumpkins and R. Kelly.

That last one aged more poorly than the others.
