@Zoey Boey, @Archangel89, @Silverstein great first posts you three. Zoey, I particularly enjoyed the comedic side of M'Ganna, while Silver the action in your first post was a lot of fun to reach through. Archangel, I loved how concise your post was yet still demonstrated a strong grasp on your character's voice.

Looking forward to more from each of you! Could definitely see Katana and Logan having a crossover down the road.

Oh, wow! This has to be the most crowded OOC section I’ve ever come across in RPG lol. Actually like it when peeps start brainstorming and discussing RPs like this.

@Roman, it’s fine. I understand you. At first, I was thinking of maybe applying for Earth-1610 Peter, as that’s the secondary version I often went with when the OG was (and usually) taken, but, oh, well... Guess it’s just not possible here.

@Lord Wraith, I guess you have a point. I do agree it kinda defeats the premise of this RP, being one verse for all of prime Marvel and DC. Now, if I have tbh with you, I’ve also gotten tired of all the multiversal BS Marvel’s been churning out, especially in movies. It starts to feel like I’m watching some kid’s fantasy being translated in forms of comic books and movies with barely any actual storytelling, and I wish I still had the enthusiasm of my teen self to actually sit back and absorb the majority of it, whether good or bad lol.

But anyway, since I can’t claim Peter, what if I make a CS for Doctor Doom, instead? Considering the Future Foundation is here... Doom ain’t taken yet, right?

@Terry Bogard I don't mean to be awkward, but I'd be a bit uncomfortable with someone playing the FF's main villain being that there would be a big amount of overlap and a big part of the FF's arc is their interactions with Doom. I believe in the rules it also says that heroes are anti-heroes are also only able to be played. I'm happy to help/work on any other idea though!

As far as I can recall, the only rule against villains as playable POVs is that people should not play a heroes "nemesis", which would qualify here.

As I say, I’m keen to make anything work. Any other FF villain I’d be totally fine with being reimagined as a hero/anti hero but I think it would be doing any good FF story a disservice without Doom featuring as their main villain.

For further clarification, @Half Pint did reference the rules correctly:

This is an open-ended roleplay. Prospective players can apply at any time. To be considered for the game, you must fill out the character sheet above to completion. Choose either a canon DC or Marvel Comics hero or anti-hero character when you apply, making sure to portray your intention and take on them within the provided parameters. You may only apply one character.


The mention of 'nemesis' or 'archenemy' refers to the use of villains in the IC. Not applying for them as a primary POV as seen below:

In the IC, you're free to utilize any supervillain from Marvel or DC to tell your story in the best way you see fit. But don't use an already taken hero character's archenemy. These characters are needed for a hero character's specific development. If you're unsure of who those characters are, wikipedia.org, comicvine.com, and plain 'ol Google are your friends. You can also simply ask in the OOC if you're unsure.


Sorry @Terry Bogard, I swear we're not trying to be difficult. What characters do you typically enjoy reading or watching?

Yeah, I can only think of niche situations where such a rule would be waived (ie: two people brainstorming beforehand, and them bouncing off one another due to their history of having writing chemistry).
