Our Hero Academia: Rising Age of Heroes






It has been nearly ninety years since the birth of the luminescent baby. The world has been thrown in chaos due to the discovery of Quirks, Quirks are superhuman abilities that 80% of the world's population has. Because of Quirks the world has been thrown in chaos for nearly a century, the only stopping the flood gates of humanity destruction and anarchy are heroes. Pro-heroes to be specific. These brave people risk life and limb to protect those in need.

You are determined to become a Pro-hero.

Whatever your reasons, you have the ability and the Quirk, but lack the experience to do so. This is where U.A. High School comes in. At U.A. you will be taught and trained to fight villains and save civilians. But you are still a student after all at U.A., you will be graded and taught as such. In U.A. Grades and status are the same thing. So not only will you be expected to be heroic and brave, but also intelligent and tactical.

Are you brave enough to endure U.A.'s brutal Hero Grading to become A Pro-Hero?











Here's the CS! I will warn you though the more I feel the character is well developed the better the grades will be all around! I don't mind decently strong characters at the start but know that you must have a good reason why they are as strong as you want them to be. If you want a strong starting character you need to work for it! I recommend at least double the bare requirement if you want a strong character! But remember potential is also important in the RP and I will limit the growth of the truly powerful beginners for awhile as a warning to those who want to make powerful first year Students!

Also I will grade your character with the system I made above! Just know I will grade the system as objectively as I can!



Secrets: If you found this this that means you are either very attentive with the extended post with no text text or you like to highlight everything lol If you found this this will be helpful on your quest in the RP!? IC post will be segmented with players involved and This invisible and sometimes coded text will sometimes hide IC information that can potentially help your character! Sometimes I will even put secrets in OOC Posts~ If this becomes too broken of a system I will get rid of it but I think it will be a fun to add to the rp! and it gets people motivated! But also be sure to make this make sense for your character to learn the information of the secret! Each Secret text will give an explanation of how to learn the secret IC

To avoid stepping on people's toes I thought I'd put my quirk ideas up here. One is the ability to merge with shadows, dive into them and run along wherever they're cast kind of thing. Roll as a stealth hero with a possible focus on rescue ops if they're allowed to bring people in with them.

Or to imbue things with fire, elemental enchantment style. So say character is holding a pipe BOOM now it's a flaming pipe! They'd probably style themselves a mystic swordsman or flaming fist of justice type :p

Those are both pretty awesome quirks~ I particularly like the shadow crawling Quirk~ But the Elemental enchanecment is pretty hot! Or cool! Maybe even both xD I would liek to see either quirk but if you need helping picking one I really like the Shadow crawl Quirk~

Are you having more weaknesses then strengths or more strengths then weaknesses? The former is fine since the characters are improving their flaws so having a few more flaws won't be the end of the characters~

Yeah, I don't want any Shoto type characters without good reason Shoto is as strong as he is because he was bred that way like a shiny pokemon a product of quirk marriage, which is only starting to lose steam around this point in the setting but its entirely possible to have characters be a product of such arrangements

It's just hard to match an exact number of weaknesses to the number of strengths. There's only so many weaknesses you can come up with for "well my quirk is I make string I guess???" before you get into inane stuff like "she has to drink lots of apple juice to do it!!".

I will accpet this character but I will give you a few heads up~

This is a very strong quirk but I'll allow it since you are basically playing two characters so I highly advised when you do post you also write for Haniel as well, make her character and not just a tool for combat~ This is a bit of extra work for you but I hope you are fine with this~

But I believe Samuel can over come his flaws over the next three years. I can already tell studying or Practical exams isn't his biggest hurdle but instead overcoming his personal short comings especially due to the nature of his quirk. We have to improve this big time. But besides these two glaring flaws his quirk is truly remarkable. I totally get you, but honestly inane weaknesses is sort of a super hero staple at this point lmao~ and something as weird as drinking apple juice to use their quirk it can be a hindrance especially if they don't like it xD

I had an idea of having a star/plasma transformation quirk, where my character could transform into a walking being a pure plasma. It would start at the color red then depending on how heated the battle would get she can get progressively more powerful which is indicated by color starting with red, then, yellow, white, and finally blue. Then there is her final form which she calls her “nova” form.

These forms give her an increase in speed and strength at the cost of energy and her own mortality. The hotter she gets the better the increase of stats but the greater the cost and the longer she stays in the form the more likely she is to just collapse from exhaustion or even the possibility of death if she pushes herself to hard.

Since it's what the coolk kids are doing, I guess I'll list some of my ideas...

SteamWorks: The user's body becomes a living boiler room. They can generate and hold vast quantities of superheated steam and vent it through their skin, often with explosive results.

Weaver: The user has the ability to create, alter and control strands of silk secreted through their pores.

Battery: The user becomes a walking battery of sortsps, capable of absorbing and holding electrical energy. They may burn off this electricity to increase their physical might, or expend it directly to shock their opponents.

Poltergeist: The user is a ghost, for all intents and purposes. They are intangible to the world, unable to interact with it outside of possessions. Maybe including some kind of telekinesis.

Gelatin: The user's body is compromised of a semitransparent gel. They are able to manipulate its shape and properties at will.

Weaver sounds cool with some out of the box uses.

Poltergeist might be more trouble if they're incapable of interacting with people beyond possession. Maybe give them their own body but keep the ghostly ability to phase through things?

It's the hardest to balance, but the idea of a girl who just wants to know what cereal tastes like, but can't lift a spoon or chew or digest it amuses me enough to hamfist it into working.
