Edit: To elaborate, I don't just mean because they make bad movies (though yeah, their piddling attempt at scraping up Spider-Man's supporting characters into their own "cinematic universe" sounds about as entertaining as slamming my dick in a screen door). I mean because they're a terrible company whose track record includes capitulating to a communist dictator over a Seth Rogen movie, executives being caught saying they'll never cast a black lead in a tentpole film, threatening journalists, and being complicit in the downward spiral and death of Michael Jackson. And on top of that, yes, they make bad movies.

I think most people who don't keep up with industry news assume it'll be related to Spider-Man and aren't aware of the difference between Sony's cinematic universe and Marvel's. So no matter how it looks, they think "Hey, it's Marvel! There's a good chance it'll be good!"

Which Sony is betting on, given the giant (IN ASSOCIATION WITH) Marvel (Not Studios) banner infront of every bit of footage.

Once the new season begins, I will be applying for Black Cat, Silver Sable, Silk, and Jackpot as this world's Birds of Prey. Their archnemesis will be Venom (Bane + symbiote suit) who has a difficult time pronouncing words properly, and possesses an odd fascination with rising fire and being born in darkness.

That doesn't mean that Sable wasn't done in an interesting fashion. Yes, she wasn't integral to the show, and thus removing her wouldn't affect it overall. You could say the same about Liz Allen and her brother in that show. Doesn't mean that what they did do was worthless.

I didn't find her interesting in Spectacular Spider-Man either, honestly. Probably the best use of her in anything was Bendis in Ultimate Spider-Man...

It's an uninteresting character.

She was still just a mercenary in Ultimate Spider-Man. He didn't innovate her all that much aside from not making her obscurely European and moderately updating her for that era.

But, I understand that you personally find her to be a worthless character, and I'm not even disagreeing in general.
