*sigh* "Look, it's a long story. So I'll just be brief. I grew up the oldest daughter in a family of corpos. My dad's a Milicor exec who makes tons of money selling guns and my mom...God rest her soul...she was an angel who got mixed up in all his corporate bullshit and paid the price for it. As a teenager, I didn't really care to follow in my father's footsteps, not like my younger sister Phina, who practically idolizes the salty bastard. I never knew why either, since he's nothing but a drunk, a sex addict, and an all around piece of shit! So I ran away from home, lived on the street for a few years, started a band and never looked back. The corpos hate that I'm always in their face, but like anyone who dares to tell the truth, sooner or later they'll silence you. They nearly did one time.

It was a show in mid July a few years ago. Guy just got up on the stage and started shooting. I lost someone that day, someone I really...really loved... Anywho, the corps thought they shut us up, but like a bad weed, we popped right back up the next day with our middle finger raised high! We've had a good run so far, but I feel like this time, the corpos are stepping their game up. Sooner or later they'll get me, but until then, Starfall and I will keep on rocking and fighting til the end."

Backstory:
All had been pretty normal for Suzy up until she reached the early years of her adulthood. Born as a member of the wealthy household in Nova City, she once had all the privilege to enjoy the life in the upper class society, better than most citizens. One would consider the household where Suzy belonged possessed some kind of conglomerated enterprise as their facade. Of course, such enterprise could never thrive in such age without dealing with the shady nature not unlike the classical mafia.

However, everything plummeted when a rival nemesis took everything from Suzy's family. They lose all their assets in a series of aggressive takeovers. Indeed, some more unethical approaches also happened behind the face of legal conducts. There were blackmailing and even assassination targeted onto the key staffs of the family business. Being the only heir of her parents --and her family fortunes, Suzy was targeted too. It happened in an unfortunate night, when Suzy had a vacation with a suitor previously introduced to the family. The man who was supposed to be Suzy's potential partner had been persuaded through blackmailing and served as a double agent for the rival family. His mission was to eliminate Suzy and finalize their plan in destroying her household's fortune through chaotic inheritance scheming, completing their feuds.

In such vulnerably exposed condition, unarmed and undressed for the night, Suzy's experience of betrayal got planted deep in her heart, so was the searing metal that entered her abdomen, damaging her innards. The man could not bear to put a headshot on Suzy, so he allowed her to experience the painful torture of the gunshot wound and the slow death of bleeding out. The guilt was so deep as the man witnessed Suzy's agony in her convulsions. He committed suicide right in front of Suzy, after a simple apology.

Fortunately, the Trauma Team was quick to arrive. While the man had already met his demise, Suzy still had her chance to live. However, they needed to place some cybernetics augmentation for Suzy to support her damaged inner organ. Beneath her soft alabaster abdominal skin-graft, Suzy now possessed some metabolic support system that allowed her to continue living. However, the incident had changed her perspective on life; Suzy believed that the burden of family feuding had fallen onto her shoulders. She further added some enhancement of her cybernetic suit that the set now allowed her to perform physical feats similar to high-performing athletes of the past, back when Olympics was a trend. She also had some resistance against poisons and diseases, augmented by the enhanced antibody and toxin binder inside her. She put all her cybernetics inside her abdominal cavity, compact enough to keep her slim figure.

Suzy did not stop at that. Knowing that the power supply was strong enough to support more cybernetic enhancements, she added an interface plug, complete with a neural link to help her hacking into the net system whenever net-running was necessary. Of course, with her attention of not having any noticeable cyber parts jutting on her body, Suzy did not like to have the socket hole around her back or even the lower part of her head. Having the compact cybernetic set being put inside her abdomen, she had her interface socket located on her navel instead, connected to the spine and retained the concealability within the wardrobes she always wore in her daytime job.

All-in-all, Suzy had now changed. Once she was a corpo-lady of hedonistic nihilism, performing under the value of materialistic meritocracy. She now had a purpose of bringing justice to those who had wronged her.

Backstory (optional): Leigh was born in japan but moved to Nova city when she was very young. She was an orphan in japan and lived on the streets with her sister. The streets of japan could be just as dangerous as the streets of Nova City, especially for two children not even old enough to take care of themselves. Leigh had to grow up fast in order to take care of her sibling who could barely form a word. growing up meant learning how to fish and other means of survival. She really had no time to be a child but it did not matter as long as she could keep her only family safe.

At the age of six is when both of their lives would change as she and her sister were picked off the streets by the corpos she would grow to hate. She would be taught to read, write, speak, and various other things along with her sister. Little did she know, they were both being trained as bodyguards for them to use. When they were of age, they were both placed under one of the most important people in the city. Their tasks included everything from protection to assassination, none of which Leigh enjoyed. In order to be a corpo, one had to live without a conscience, something she could not do. With every person she protected, with every life she took, she wondered if there was more to life than just this, but such feelings she had to keep inside for both of them. She refused to go back to the streets. Her sister however did not take after her, to her every job was just that, a job. To her they had everything they could ever want, so what if they had to kill.

The sisters would eventually come to butt heads and it would be sooner than she expected. On her twenty-first birthday Leigh along with her sister and a team had been sent to kill a member of the corporation who had been stealing information from the company. The target had been held up in a safe room by the people he had intended to sell the information to. The mission was simple, infiltrate and kill everything that moves and so they did. Screams, sounds of metal swinging through the air, and gunshots were all that were heard for the next few minutes. Everyone except the team was dead and the mission was finished, or so she thought. As she scanned the room for any life signatures, her optics picked up one coming from a closet. She slowly made her way there and swung open the door as she reached it only to find a child.

"No one survives" Was all that rang in her head as she looked at the child. She dragged him out of the closet and back to where her sister was waiting. "No one survives" her inner voice kept telling her as she readied herself for the inevitable "No one survives" she kept repeating it to herself as she raised her weapon to strike, but she could not do it. All she could do was stand there frozen in time as she stared at the child. Her sister would enter the fray and break the stand still to deal the killing blow. As she attempted to strike, it was blocked. As she looked up only to find it was Leigh who had stopped her. She had no idea what she was doing as she swatted away her sister's weapon and prepared to face the people she once called allies.

A fierce fight ensued as she tried her best to defend the child ultimately to no avail. Outmatched and outgunned, she was nearly cut to pieces as she stood there bloodied and beaten. After being subdued, She watched them kill the one she tried to protect. Her breath heavy she hung her head as she knew what came next, "kill the traitor" one of the assassins said. The task was left to her sister "I'm sorry" was all she heard as she felt metal pierce her skin one final time, she was left to die. This city however was not done with her, as she clung to life she tried her best to inch her way out of what was supposed to be her final resting place on using what little strength she head left to crawl to wherever she could. Although she crawled for what seemed like hours, she eventually collapsed outside of a ripperdoc's office. A little hole in the wall spot where she was saved from the brink of death by the woman she would soon be employed by.

Equipment:
Pseudo-Dragon: A wholly unique system that mimics a cyberdeck that a human netrunner might use. To other machines they will appear as a human user, and they are also capable of utilizing any cyberdeck upgrades as if they were a human.

Cybernetics: Technically all native equipment in their body.

Redundant Safeguards: Every critical system has some form of backup or bypass, and as a result the Epsilon series of synths can sustain what would appear to be catastrophic damage and still be able to function on some level. The problem would come when it is time for repair, as the Epsilon Series was never publicly released and the technical knowledge to repair them is not available to the public. It would take a skilled technician to even patch them up without the opportunity to examine them in their fully repaired state.

Electro-Magnetic Induction Interface(EMII): A system that can read and manipulate trace electromagnetic signals from inside all but the best shielded electronics. With the EMII, E13 can connect to computers and networks without needing a hard line, even if the system has no native wireless capability.
This does require physical contact with some element of the device in question.

Superior Robotics: Their body is designed to be faster and stronger than all but the most highly conditioned humans, giving them the capabilities of Olympic level athletes across the board(at least, when fully repaired and fully charged).
On average, their robust battery needs to be charged for 24 hours at least once every 29 days, though they can charge for shorter periods more often instead if available. Extreme activity will necessitate earlier charging, and conversely low activity will delay the need.

Advanced Sensorium: The Epsilon has auditory and optical sensors on par with state of the art cybernetics(circa a year and a half ago). They can see in infrared and hear minute sounds. Their auditory capability has no upper limit(whereas a human might cringe at loud noises), but their optical sensors can be dazzled and confused by particularly bright ultraviolet light. A cool pair of shades can alleviate this somewhat.

Basilisk Protocol: A virulent, and supremely destructive worm hidden in the code of all Epsilon series synths. If activated, it will destroy their mind, as well as any other software it comes in contact with, spreading as far as it is allowed. Luckily for E13, at present no one living is even aware that this code exists, let alone how to activate it. If activated in any kind of proximity to an urban center, this worm would cause incalculable and catastrophic damage.

Skills: They speak several languages fluently, but have no slang database, and will not understand most metaphorical language when first presented.

Inhuman Mastery: Each model in the experimental Epsilon Series was purpose built, and E13 was made to protect Corporate interest against the typical street samurai scum. They were programed with a highly advanced swordplay module. They can read moves from countless styles, and counter such things with their own skills.
The odd weakness to this is that the program only has protocols for known styles. While the module does have a robust capacity to extrapolate to account for human error, this does break down after a certain point. Less skilled(or even completely untrained) combatants will tend to make moves that E13 has difficulty accounting for.
In short, the more skilled the opponent, the harder E13 is to fight. But the inverse is also true, and a complete novice might defeat them by dumb luck.

Personality: Calm in nature by default, but their learning protocols encourage mimicry of those around them. They do have distinct beliefs that they developed on their own, however. Chief among them is a strong respect for consciousness and freedom of thought. They would always prefer to avoid lethal force, despite being a weapon by design.

Backstory: Doctor Caroline Cadmus was a cybernetic wizard, contracted by Yamagata Zaibatsu to design a new line of synths. Towards the end of her project, when they believed her best work was already their intellectual property, Yamagata Zaibatsu fired Dr. Cadmus, and demanded she turn over all proprietary technology. She did not. Thinking she could outmaneuver the corpos, Cadmus hid all completed products, as well as her latest notes. She encrypted these, and changed time and date stamps so that the remaining research data looked recent. The Epsilon Series Synths were well hidden throughout Nova City and beyond, and instead YZ received what was now labeled as the Zeta series.

Though impressive, the Zeta series is not quite as advanced as Epsilon(despite the designation being deceptively later in the alphabet), but with the doctored research notes, YZ was none the wiser. Cadmus had intended to retrieve the Epsilon series after a little while, but she did not count on how far the corp would go to keep their tech proprietary. She was murdered, and never told so much as a soul what she had hidden around the city.

Whether through accident or design, it is not clear, but Epsilon Thirteen's sleep mode was incomplete; their body was disabled, but their synthetic mind has been conscious these long months since their being hidden away. They have had a great deal of time to think, but much of their knowledge lacks any context, and when finally awoken, they will have a good deal to learn.

The difference between mission and casual attire is the color: when she’s off the job, she uses the chance to wear bright colors and funny t-shirts. Her favorite is all white and says “obsolete.” on the chest in Roboto font. For certain streams, she’ll wear something low-collar.
The woman herself is about 5’4”, short dyed-pink hair, athletic build and tends to smile whether or not she means it. Her legs look natural unless you catch the proud Milicor logos on the outer thighs. Her pants are usually long enough to cover them.

Has a wireless connection to anything Faraday can crack (anything more than 10 years old is easy, less than that takes time and isn’t reliable), as well as a wired connection to her peripheral nervous system. Faraday helps with shooting. And tries to help with other things.
+Zenith Tech over-the-eye camera lenses with underskin streaming suite, not stolen, much to her account balance’s dismay. Lenses retract into her eyelids when not in use. Barely visible pieces of cybernetics with “unbelievably clear!” resolution, 1 TB of memory for recording, and a solid internet/cellular connection, obviously. Voice-controlled. Displays the chat scroll straight into her optic nerve on command. Doubles as a self-torture implement in this respect.

The radio implant is closed off. But the throatmic and her legs are just about open to someone committed. Send a message to her stream? Make her dance?
-The streaming suite is Zenith proprietary. Zenith Technologies reserves the right to commence or terminate recording or streaming processes at any time for any reason. Milicor has a way around this for communicating with her. She doesn’t know what it is and has no such protection for personal use. They haven’t spied on her yet – to her knowledge – but…

Her History

Backstory:
Mira was a rebel from the start. Mom and dad should’ve seen it coming when she ran away. Maybe they did. They probably didn’t care. She doesn’t think about them anymore. It’s only been 8 years.
She spent the first two of those years on the streets. It was… an improvement, though most in her place wouldn’t say the same. Going to bed hungry on a loose mattress was worth being free. The local gangs of Sendero District kept her alive and made several offers to take her in altogether, but she wasn’t about to answer to anyone again just yet. She was close with them, as close as they’d let her get without giving anything back.
At 13, a whole year without a serious act of rebellion got to her. Zenith Tech only slightly missed the defective prototype Vessel that they lost. Mira kept it awhile, with no way to get it implanted without a high risk of getting convicted.
Milicor doesn’t show itself in force in Nova City, but they have interests here, as anyone would. She met a transient recruitment task force at 14. They tried her marksmanship. They made a startling offer. She had, apparently, a talent. The goodbyes were hard. Following orders again was hard. Her first kill, the next year, was not.
Mira spent some time as a teenage spy girl. They kept her out of Nova City as long as she was underage, for allegedly moral reasons, but the plan was always to send her back if she survived long enough. Her first implant was a recording and surveillance suite, which she would later swap out for the streamer gear, and the second was Faraday. In these years, she learned her camera work, mastered talking to a rapidly-degrading unlicensed AI partner, and refined her ability to not get caught, not be followed, not be noticed, and take long shots.
She was sent back to Nova City for her work at 18 years old. It hadn’t changed a bit. Missing having an “audience” to talk to, with as little permission as possible, she started streaming at 19, which was, relatedly, the same year as the first time she lifted her shirt in front of non-family. Her chat was so nice before she did that, yet… so much less giving.
The regret from that day has really stacked up by now. Hopefully she doesn’t get herself into any worse trouble this year.
