I wish there were such a thing as bars that didn't serve alcohol. They do all sorts of cool stuff with drinks but then mess it up by adding the mental functions-impeding ethanol to it.

I was pressured into heavily drinking right after I got to my ship, because you know, sailors and drinking go hand in hand. There is this very specific, very wrong alcohol called Everclear that is only sold on military bases. I ended up finding out I have an insane tolerance for alchohol, and that I really, REALLY hate being drunk. It's like being super tired but also fuzzy.

Yeah, I've heard that and I've heard of Everclear. Knowing how much I hate not being able to function properly when ludicrously tired, I can't imagine taking any form of mental impeder that does something similar.
