It was not. The Ashling was going after Slough in an attempt to kill a huge source of natural life; the White Giant was just an obstacle, and once it couldn't fight anymore it prioritized Slough.

Guys, question. Would you say that the portfolio 'Hunt' is part of the Domain 'Death'? I was thinking of breaking some personal rules and letting Reathos create a certain Apex Predator specie and stuff (Using 3 might for it) and add the actual portfolio in the next turn. If that's okay with everyone of course.

I don't think Hunt is a part of the Domain of Death. If it was, you could argue War is also a part of the Domain of Death, or climbing ladders is a part of the Domain of Death because you can fall and break your neck.

I agree with @Frettzo. When I think 'Apex Predator made by God of Death', I think something that kills efficiently and quickly. Usually quietly. Not something that protects like the White Giants, kills only to assimilate like the living hair, or kills for the sake of killing and their hatred like the Ashlings.

I think something that kills because only the strong survive. Something that weeds out the weak. Survival or struggle seems like it'd fall under death better.
