• Personality: Maria is normally a rather friendly individual, who believes deeply in honor and justice for everyone. She takes pride in her skills with a sword, and in general is quick to agree to honorable and noble duels. She is also proud of her heritage, coming from a family of warriors. She wants nothing more then to display her skills and do good for others, and carry out a successful life as a member of the Anthellon family. The problem arises, however, in the situations she runs into. Maria is prone to acting with exasperation and irritation when someone does something she sees as stupid or silly. She considers herself a sensible individual, and those who do not act sensible get on her nerves rather quickly. Beneath her friendly and honorable attitude, Maria has a rather short temper and really can't stand people behaving stupidly. Her friendliness gives way to palm-to-face irritation and angry insults when she gets truly irritated with all of this. Maria is also very easily embarrassed(especially be comments on her figure). Embarrassment can even immobilize her in a fight, no matter what the circumstances are. Well, almost, at least.
• Abilities: Maria is a skilled wielder of the sword, using a one-handed style with no shield. She can switch to two hands in order to increase the power behind her swings, but most commonly only uses one. She is fast on her feet and rarely stops moving in a fight, and can hold her own against a variety of ridiculous foes like this. Her cooking skills can be described as "explosively terrible", a fact she is embarrassed about. She has a very nice singing voice, a fact she is also embarrassed about.
• Notable Equipment, Traits, etc;: Maria has her family sword, made of silversteel. This means it is very light and durable and possesses a powerful cutting edge. She commonly uses light leather armor to avoid slowing herself down in combat.
• History: Maria was born to the Anthellon family. They are nobility with a reputation for raising honorable warriors, and naturally, Maria was no different. She has even set out to prove herself as a member of the Anthellion family, with an air of honor and justice and annoyance at stupid people.

Buck Abbott

Name: Buchanan "Buck" Abbott

Buck is the one and only, ass-ass-in. Yes, not assassin. Yes, you read that right. May whatever goddess there is rest our souls.

Due to his very strange backstory, Buck absolutely and utterly seems to hate people's... hindquarters. As such, yeah, he's an assassin. But all of his "kills" (which most of them ended up just sending his targets to the hospital) have been from direct stabbings to the butt. Yes, we're serious. An assassin who attacks his victims by trying to kill their behinds.

Yet at the same time, Buck's personality seems to almost revolve around butts too. He will often make quips that sound quite profound but probably are some kind of butt pun. He will often visually inspect and put bounties on future butts. Not that the inspection is leering at all. Buck only likes personality, something that he believes both transcends gender and what he finds as totally profound, which is on the record (also for the record, his own personality, as you can see, is pretty poor so he really can't say much there).

Outside of his focus on the death of the derriere, Buck often runs his mouth without thinking and quite honestly has a pitifully low Luck stat. Like almost death wish level unlucky. Even in circumstances that require complete and utter seriousness, he is still as unlucky, loud-mouthed, ass hating, and ultimately naive as ever. But if you contract him, you've got a loyal party member to the bitter end! ...Somewhat. We recommend wearing frying pants on your ass to bed. Trust us.

Abilities:
-Knife Play: The passive skill to equip, use, and master the use of the knife. Pretty simple.
-Lock-On: A skill that locks on to a target for battle. Usually his opponent's butt.
-A keen sense of smell: Please don't ask how he picked this ability up.
-A New One: His finishing move. For the most part, not much different from him usually stabbing/slashing someone's butt. Just... A finishing attack.

Notable Equipment: Knives, light weight clothes, binoculars.
Traits:

Good traits? Pretty accomplished slayer of the derriere, pretty stable loyalty, his keen sense of smell, somewhat wise. ...Yeah, somewhat good traits.

Bad traits. Pretty accomplished slayer of the derriere, his naivete, existential crises over whether he should slay his own derriere or not, the fact he has little to no common sense, does he ever shut up? Who knows? Probably not

History: For anyone who asks him, the answer's the same. A freak accident (the details changing almost everytime he explains it) supposedly involving butts killed his parents. No one believes him. There's a rumor going around that all of this was a dream he had and he was actually just a simple farm boy in a simple farming village once. No one questions it (except, you know, everybody.)

Elysia Corentine. Two names that mean destruction. That mean fear. That demand respect.

...Well, she tries to get that. Close enough?

Elysia is a demon who has no interest in the demon lord's plans. Instead, she just wants to make some money and get the respect she deserves. And maybe amidst all the madness develop a peership of likeminded individuals who will all bow to her every whim and worship the ground she walks on. Is that asking for too much? Yeah.

Elysia is incredibly egotistical and prideful, believing she's so much better than she actually is (especially when it comes to her ability as a summoner). Cold and vastly competitive, even when she's traveling with others, she believes that what she says is obviously more important and that she is very much a queen. Alas, this is only in her head. She only really comes across as a jerk most of the time because of this.

She is known for addressing people by their full names. Last name and all. If they don't have a last name, then she just gives a description of them after their first name. Hell, she'd probably go that far normally. For example, who says something like, "I, Elysia Corentine, summoner extraordinaire and the owner of the feet you should so lovingly want to kiss, disagrees on this subject."

...Yeah, she does.

There's just a little problem. She's not a summoner extraordinaire because what she summons is never what she wishes to summon. She wants to summon a giant fire breathing dragon? Bam! A pile of geckos. She wants to summon a being of plague upon your houses? Bam! Bees. Which immediately decide to sting her.

...Her luck stat is barely existent, okay, cut her some slack.

Abilities:
-Summoning: She can summon creatures to aid her in battle. It's never the right one for the situation. This might be because of her summoning equipment.
-Unending Pride: A passive ability that both gives her the strength to try, try again, but also makes her absolutely obnoxious to be around.

Equipment:
-Here's the deal. Her summoning equipment is the two magitek type gauntlets near her skirt. She made it herself. That's probably why she can't summon anything right.

Traits:

Good traits? Her pride, her determination, her self-image. ...That's about it.

Bad traits? Her attitude, her pride, her summoning, her pride, #GrowingUpUnlucky, her pride.

History: Elysia Corentine comes from a long line of tinkering and engineering demons. However, despite this, Elysia has a dream. A dream she should probably give up on, but a dream regardless. She wishes to be the best summoner in the world. Maybe she should stick to being a tinkerer. Or not since her self-created summoning apparatus is a dud. Maybe she should set her sights on something like... being a waitress or something, we dunno.

Allisa seems to be the very definition of cheerfulness and friendliness. She is usually seen with a smile on her face, and doesn't hesitate to strike up a friendly conversation with people. She is also a very honest person, sometimes to the point of being brutal about it, and she is not a very good secret keeper either.

Abilities
Allisa is quite a skilled huntress. Having lived in the woods for much of her childhood, she is fully capable of using a bow and arrow to fell targets at long range. Allisa is also skilled with a dagger or two in hand to repel someone at close range.
Allisa is fully capable of stealthily hunting down targets in a forest, whether it be for food like deer and rabbits or for kill quests of dangerous beasts. She also feels most at home in a forest and will usually seek out a tree to sleep in, which certainly helps with money as there's not much need to find an inn.

Notable Equipment, Traits, etc
-Longbow and arrows: pretty standard stuff. The bow is nicely crafted, but made out of wood from the common trees, while the arrows can be bought in plenty of common weapon shops.
-Pair of daggers: Even a long range combatant may find themselves having to face an enemy in close combat, which is why these are here. Nothing really special about them, though.
-Obedient: Allisa will gladly follow any order given to her by someone she trusts, as long as the order is acceptable to her moral standards. Better be specific, though, because she tends to go above and beyond for these orders. Get some food? An entire day spent hunting down rabbits and bringing their skinned carcasses back to the person who issued the order. Make sure someone's not bothered? Drive away all people by threatening them with her bow and arrow should they get too close. The only orders she really refuses are sexual actions and torturing others. That's about it.

History
Allisa was born in a forest village, where she spent her entire life learning how to fend for herself. She learned much about the forest and its bounty of hidden goods, as well as the means of acquiring these goods. The migration patterns of certain animals, the edible fruits and vegetables, how to string a bow and hunt down animals, etc. Allisa was also told that she should have the ability to perform magic. However, she never really understood magic and its ways, so she quickly gave up on that idea.
As Allisa became of age, she decided to leave home. According to her parents, she was to be able to fend for herself now and earn a living for herself. After a day had passed, though, she realized that she felt... lost. She was so used to having people tell her what to do that she didnt really know what to do for herself. So, she wandered. She walked for days, stopping to rest for food and sleep, until she finally made her way to a city.
It was her first time entering a city, so all the sights and sounds were completely new to her. An adventurer found her and helped guide her through the city, making their way to the Adventurer's Guild. From there, she became an adventurer, and did her best to complete the quests she found.

Most quests she does tend to be beginner quests, like find a lost pet or killing 5 or so troublesome creatures.

Personality: She’s a pretty quiet and clumsy person, who talks very little and is totally oblivious sarcasm. She is a very kind natured person at heart and has an older sister type aura. Kain was one of the workers for the guild, originally as a quest board manager and waitress she changed her occupation to an adventurer after breaking to many plates with some encouragement from her friends. This gave her the opportunity to meet some people without being forced to by work and also to help work on her social skills. In battle she is the same as she is with people, quiet and clumsy she has not shown any potential at being an adventurer because while she does carry a sword she is not particularly good with it. The only reason she does get hired by some parties is because she is a good cook and much stronger than she looks, often able to carry most of the loot they collect. Though few have seen her real potential when she throws a punch, claiming to have seen her dent armor when she is not using her sword. But Kain never admits to it and others do not believe the stories told by those who have seen it.
Abilities:
- Warrior: As this class Kain should be able to equip a wide variety of weapons and armor but tends to keep her armor light and only uses a long sword in a fight.
- Uncanny Strength: Despite Kain's meek appearance she is much stronger than she looks, it came as a result of working in her own tavern and also at the guild for so many years, kicking out drunk patrons when they got rowdy and carrying full barrels of alcohol up from the storage cellar.
Notable Equipment, Traits, etc;:
- Guild Uniform: Though it can be confusing to newcomers Kain still wears her guild uniform with some armor over top. She still owned several of the uniforms when she was fired and they are the only cloths she really owns.
- Longsword: Made of hardened steel with gold plated guard and leather bound grip, it is fairly standard for a weapon and there are many like it.
- Clumsy: She can sometimes trip over own feet when carrying things or bump into objects when not paying attention.
History: Not much is known about Kain's past accept that she used to own an tavern in the city of Calpheon to the north. She was forced to close it and moved south to Lerot where she got a job with the Adventurer's Guild. She worked in the guild for a while until she was fired because of her clumsiness. The guild master gave her a second chance though and let her rejoin as an adventurer so she could find work.
Other: Kain is a follower of Ardley, the God of Board and Travel. She represents this by wearing an amulet of Ardley's symbol on her belt, two stalks of barley carved into a gold coin.

Taliir is, for lack of a better word, insane. Though at quick glance he could potentially seem rather normal. Though given his tendency of mood swings that's about fifty-fifty chance to find him acting normal. And normal being used quite loosely. The likelihood of guessing a coin flip is much more likely then figuring out what Taliir will do next in any given situation. People just meeting Taliir would have a hard time figuring out what side he is actually on. The more one gets to know the man it's quite clear he is a good person. Deep down, deep deep down. He just has a twisted way of showing it.

Abilities:

• Searing Wounds ~ Given the large of magical power scorching through his veins they lend a sort of healing factor. Whenever he is cut or wounded the magical properties hidden beneath his ashen skin seem to sear the wound shut. Like a hot iron rod to a wound would sear it closed. This actually causes additional pain to Taliir then just the pain from the injury. With focus Taliir can stop this process from acting instinctively.
• Hell Claws ~ Taliir being a maniac brawler type his magical energy seeps out of his skin as a smoke and solidifies into a cast over his hands and a bit up his forearms. This resembles that of demonic claws, able to fluidly move with his musculature as if they were simply an extension of himself. Which they technically are.
• Guardian Shell ~ Without even a thought Taliir constantly has an invisible barrier an inch off of his skin. The tainted magic coursing through him grants him a slight defense against attacks. Whenever a strike would land against Taliir it would simply stop or be deflected off this barrier that turns blue upon contact. This barrier only becomes solid when Taliir is threatened. Otherwise it is ethereal and goes unnoticed until needed. Though this can be over powered and broken through given the right amount of power or weakening his magic reserves.
• Thrusters ~ They are exactly as named. Taliir is able to use his magical power to release small burst that thrust him how he sees fit. He can use this to rapidly change directions, boost him forward, slow his falling before hitting the ground to dampen the crash, increase the strength of his attacks, etc. Despite its appearance this is quite taxing. Needing to condense magical energy in a small area and shoot it out takes a toll on his magical reserves.
• Hellion Blast ~ This is sort of like Taliir's last resort move. Summoning all of his magical reserves (or whatever is left) he pools the energy into an open space between his hands. The energy pools and condenses into a small sphere that sparks with power, no longer blue but pitch black. Once all or as much Taliir sees fit of his energy has condensed into this sphere he shoots it forward. The blast wave is near eight feet in radius at its base and only grows wider as it travels outwardly. The blast can be strong enough to evaporate any life form in its path.
  Draw Backs: The strain this technique has on Taliir is unimaginable. After using it he becomes completely powerless. The muscles in his forearm and biceps are torn apart under the skin, sometimes actually rupturing the skin. Because it uses all of his magical power his Searing Wounds doesn't work. This leaving Taliir's arms in tatters for several hours until he regains enough magical power to sear the wounds and heal. Taliir only ever used this ability once and it nearly killed him.

Notable Equipment:

A white ribbon spotted in black stains that he wraps around his hand before getting into a fight.

Traits:

The magical energy inside Taliir's body has given him heightened physical abilities; to a minor degree. He is faster and stronger then your average person, by a small degree. A trained soldier could keep up with him though.
The magic that has tainted Taliir has also warped his mind, making his mind constantly and rapidly running. His reflexes are probably his finest asset. In a fight he is able to adapt and change tactics on the drop of a hat. But because his mind is so active he can, sometimes, get distracted and lose focus right in the middle of a fight. So a double edged sword.

History:

Taliir was born as a normal elf, simply in turbulent times in his tribe. They were at war with another clan that was much bigger and with much better resources. But one thing his tribe had that the other didn't was a lack of ethics. In an attempt to get the upper hand on our opponents the elders thought of a plan. To infuse young children into a Well of Power. They knew that adults who entered the Well of Power couldn't with stand the change. See, they were already fully developed. Now children were still growing and changing, physically. So why not try them? So that is what they did.

Now, most of the children they put inside this Well of Power didn't survive. But they did not combust like the adults, and actually lasted much longer. Some even a couple of days. They simply screamed in agony the entire time before the magic overwhelmed them and silenced their cries permanently. But they were desperate, the other tribe was had nearly wiped out Taliir's. So they kept trying. Taliir was the last of the experiments at the age of four. Like the most he came out of the well alive and screaming. Though before they could determine if it was successful, the rest of the tribe was wiped out. Leaving the wailing Taliir alone in his crib. Streaks of blue shining under his skin and eyes. The opposing tribe tried to pierce the child though a barrier inches off his skin protected him from the blade. This peaking the tribe leader they decided to instead take the boy with them.

Now we have the present day. A grown Taliir, alive and well. His skin ashen white with glowing blue eyes. A wanderer. A Mercenary. A collector of tea cups.

@Jinxlynx: While the character's fine conceptually, I'd like to ask if you could edit the personality section to not have so many run-ons. It's hard to make out what's being said at times when a person can't tell when one sentence ends and another begins.

@Vee: Er... I don't think the character quite fits the scene. Insanity isn't exactly... Amusing. I'd go so far as to say it detracts from the amusement on occasion, mainly because everyone now has to be wary of friendly fire at all times.

Okay, maybe "insane" was a bad term to describe him... Think of him more like deadpool, personality wise. Except less of a desire for money and chimichangas. He's just a fast witty person that's easily distracted and does weird things that sometimes don't make sense. And he would never actually attack his own team. He might mess with his team, but never actually put them in any danger.

Edit: Think insane more like deadpool and less American Psycho. lol He's the fun insane.

lol I'm not trying to say the character is going to be a carbon copy of Deadpool. I am just trying to give reference to his kind of "insane". His insane is more directed in the line of Jokester and not the "Put the lotion on its skin" kind lol

I know this isn't helping my "My characters not deadpool" argument but I have written deadpool characters in several other RP's. I enjoy writing the wacky, odd ball characters and plus have gotten quite a bit of experience in it. If given the chance to see if the characters works in IC setting I would truly appreciate it. To just be given the chance. But if we get started and you aren't feeling the character, I can simply have him ride off into the sunset, straddling a big ol' land turtle. No harm, no foul. I would just hate to scrap the character simply because you don't believe I can't portray him well in IC.

P.S. I am gonna be working on my second character now just in case (if you permit it) Taliir doesn't work out in the IC so I have a back up. I am gonna make the support character I mentioned seeing as there are a bunch of fighter types now.
