While DB's question regarding what was the deterrent she was hit with was a bit suspicious to Karina, making her raise an eyebrow before replying, he was still part of her 'team' for now and was indeed helping her.

"They tried everything on me since the last time we met. Ended up figuring out which one worked. The cultists seem to use deterrents quite a lot so I would start being careful about those from now on. Their tactics seem to, most of the times be based in overwhelming their opponents with numbers and using deterrents. The effects should stop after some minutes." Karina said, avoiding saying exactly what was the deterrent it was used.

DB's moments were graceful and precise as he used his magic, running up a wall and using vaulting off it, grabbing Karina as they floated down to the stairs again. Karina did notice that, when they landed, DB seemed to be a bit embarrassed by carrying her in his arms as he caught her. Even though Karina was still a woman, she saw that act just as two soldiers helping each other in a mission so she didn't think too much of it.

"Don't worry too much about it. I am sure that even if it was Týfurkh you would find a way to make it work." she said, nodding towards him as she thanked for his help.

"The sightless by itself is already an incredibly dangerous opponent... The number of cultists only make things worse... We cannot enter in direct combat with them. Not only we are already exhausted and some of us can't use their powers, but there are much more cultists here than we can deal with, the sightless makes things even worse..." Karina said after DB asked what they were supposed to do now.

"We won't be able to do anything by ourselves. We should at least regroup with Chres and Octavio first, then we might try doing something." Karina said, looking both to Ferris and DB.

Ayita couldn't help but to smile as she heard both Cade and Sakura's words. Both of them had pretty extreme views on their own field of expertise regarding combat. Even though magic was something new for her, she did see and feel how it could be just as interesting as running and hunting as she normally did. Unlike both of them though, for Ayita, magic and physical combat were equally interesting and could even be incredibly compatible when used together. One example was when she was running and ended up using wind magic without realizing.

When she had finished talking about her tribe, Sakura linked arms with her with a cheerful expression and tone. Unlike them though, the words she said were rather... ominous... They made Ayita remember exactly what was the situation she found herself in on Avalia.

"Oh... Thank you..." Ayita said, with an awkward smile as she gave a deep breath. Despite the fact that her and every other humans' heads had a price now, looking only to the bad side wouldn't help her to keep going on forward. Besides, she always had a tendency to look always at the bright side of everything.

Thanks to Cade's knowledge of the city, they soon arrived in a weapons shop owned by a demi-fox. Even for someone who didn't know much about weapons, just a single glance was needed to tell that the weapons being sold in that particular shop were indeed of good quality. They didn't have much decorations or engravings and were all honestly, very simple, but their effectiveness was undeniable.

Excited, Ayita walked towards the display, grabbing a tomahawk on her hand, testing it's balance, weight and sharpness. After testing two different tomahawks, she seemed to have found one to her liking. Throwing it into the air in a spinning motion and catching again with a smile, it wasn't hard for Cade or Sakura to figure out what she was thinking. After taking a look at the hunting knives, she choose a long one, similar to a Kukri in it's blade design.

"These are perfect! Both in balance and weight!" she said, looking to Cade with a smile as she showed them to him.

"Again, sorry for making you pay for them." Ayita said in a lower tone to Cade, with an awkward smile.

It was then that a commotion coming from the other side of the market interrupted them. Cade was the first one to notice, but Ayita took a bit more since she was distracted with her new weapons. Despite the initial surprise for being her first time seeing a centaur, she was able to understand what was happening to an extent. The faun had problems with the local authorities and the centaur tried to save him from whatever it was happening.

"How should we approach them though? They seem to have some... problems with the local authority, don't they?" Ayita asked, looking to Cade as he suggested them to befriend the centaur.

It took a moment before Darius finished his bath as Myra waited, still playing with the blankets. When Darius was over though, he seemed to be just as happy as he was when he saw the bathroom. Myra still didn't know why he was so glad to take a bath in warm water, but she thought it was a 'human' thing. Getting out of the bath, he walked towards the wardrobe as he started putting on his second skin, which he called 'clothes'. Even though Myra hated how they felt on her skin, it was still intriguing to see how Darius covered himself on them from head to toes, going as far as to wear some pretty thick and uncomfortable looking clothes, including something that looked almost like an animal's fur that he wore over his chest.

After finishing, he turned to Myra and called her name, making her poke her head out of the blankets to hear him. This time, it was easier to understand him, both by the movements he made to tell her that it was going to be cold and due to how many heavy clothes he was using himself. Even though Myra was pretty resistant regarding cold, it was still annoying when it was really cold. That fact made her think about maybe hearing him, but the second he showed her the thick, heavy thing he wanted her to use, she immediately stuck her tongue out, shaking her head from one side to another before going back inside the blankets. That thing he wanted her to wear was far too heavy for her to move comfortably. Getting out of the blankets again, she watched as Darius put it on and took it off easily, indicating that in case she wanted to take it off, it wouldn't be that hard. After thinking for a bit, she got out of the blankets, standing up and carefully grabbing the coat Darius had shown her. Determined to at least try it on, Myra tried to mimic Darius' movements. It was a bit confusing at first, especially since she put the right sleeve in the left arm, but after some tries, she finally got it right. It was clear to Darius that she was still unsatisfied in having to wear that heavy thing, but since it was easy to take it off, she was willing to try and use it. It was clear to him that it was an exception though. She still clearly hated wearing clothes.

Maeve was already, with some difficulty, escorting Allard towards a safe location when she heard Sev's word as he approached the square. Apparently, even though he did abandon her to deal with the others by herself, he had also fought against some. The staff that he was wielding before was now a spear, revealing his weapon's double nature, which was made even cleared due to it's bloodied tip.

"A bit rude leaving me alone to both protect Allard and deal with the other bandits, don't you think?" Maeve asked, raising an eyebrow to him as he approached them.

"Regarding this Emperor of Greed... Never heard about it. The only thing I can think about is that this is, somehow, connected to the kidnappings and what happened with Madam Valia the other day. It is indeed difficult to think someone would do such thing just to satisfy it's own lust or... greed." Maeve said, purposely using the same word Sev mentioned about the emperor.

It was then that a strange, sly man man appeared gliding over her and Allard. Despite his sudden appearance, his actions and words made it clear he wasn't an enemy as he said to take Allard to the temple so they could heal them.

"Charming words. Thank you, stranger." Maeve said, with a smirk as she chuckled when he made a small joke about the dead bandits at her feet.

"I am not a specialist on healing magic, but since I'm an Isoli, it does come naturally to me. I may be able to help, even if only a small bit." she said as she nodded towards the sly stranger as she started taking Allard to the temple.

"If you discover anything more about what's happening, feel free to tell me too. I'm going to the temple to heal Allard a bit and help the other healer. I'm honestly surprised on how he is even alive at this point. If I don't hurry up though, he might not be anymore in a bit..." Maeve said, emphasizing the urgency of the situation.

Maeve was glad that her words were a bit effective in calming Allard down. Unfortunately, just the second she thought it would be easier and she wouldn't need to forcefully drag that half giant to the temple, they heard an explosion in the background, immediately making Allard say his daughter's name and become agitated once more.

"If you don't calm down, I can and will knock you out cold so I can drag you to the temple and heal you. Sev, please, go towards the explosion and see what's happening. If it's really Allard's daughter, help her." Maeve said, trying to calm down the wounded giant again.

"Trust your daughter, Allard. She's a strong girl, isn't she? Sev is going there too, so just calm down and don't overexert yourself." Maeve said, as she finally began taking Allard to the temple.

Arriving on the temple, Maeve would try to make Allard lay down and start using her healing magic. Even though it might not be as good as someone who specialized in it, it was still more than enough to close wounds and at least make it so Allard's situation wasn't one of life and death.

Myra stood still as Darius scratched the back of her head. Glad that he was also enjoying the place they were going to stay, she simply curled itself even more on the bed as Darius made Kol a few questions. The moment Kol began to answer them though, he nodded towards the hallway, indicating that Myra would have to leave the bed and her cozy spot under the covers for now. Fortunately though, they were going to eat shortly and that was something she was looking forward to.

Even though Myra was trying to pay attention on the conversation Kol and Darius had, having even understood that they were talking about Darius' magic, she started to become a bit distracted by the smell of food when they arrived on the dining area and the second a plate with at least five times more meat than Darius' was put in front of her, she completely stopped paying attention on their conversation. Sticking the tip of her tongue out of her mouth, she quickly examined the meat. It was cooked, just like the one Skar had taught her to do, but other than that, it had a rather particular scent to it that she didn't know very well what it was. Despite that, it was almost making her drool and she couldn't hold herself back anymore. Using her claws to pick an entire piece of meat without getting too dirty, she took the first bite. Myra could feel the similarity to Skar's cooked meat, but the one that Zorrah made had something else on it too. Myra didn't know exactly what she did put on the meat, but it was incredibly tasty. Despite it's size, the mountain of meat in front of Myra was gone in a short time.

After eating and satiating her hunger, Myra and Darius went back to their room. While Myra did notice Darius was distracted and thinking about something, the second she was about to try and cheer him up, he exclaimed about something upon entering a different part of the room they would stay. Even though Myra didn't know exactly what that 'bathroom' was supposed to be, she was happy that Darius seemed to be so glad and excited upon seeing it.

Her confusion about that room was soon gone though as Darius started explaining to her what it was for. Apparently, it was the room that she was supposed to use to clean herself. As Darius showed her a strange hollow chair with a puddle of water inside, she was intrigued by it, but the second he showed her what it was for, she immediately understood as she gave a step forward and pressed the small button that he had just pressed. Almost instantly, the puddle of water inside started to swirl and go away, before being refilled again. The next thing that Darius had to show her was a strange metal pipe just above a half sphere. The moment he turned the small thing on top of that pipe, water was produced, falling on the half sphere before going away through the hole right in the middle. Grabbing a small black stick-like thing with short hairs at it's end, he put it below the water before squeezing a strange gooey thing on it. Putting on his mouth, Darius began to move it back and forth and one side to another over his teeth before spitting it out of his mouth. Confused at first, Myra understood that he was cleaning his teeth after he finished and showed her his teeth, now cleaner than before. Grabbing the red one, Myra carefully imitated Darius' actions, squeezing the gooey thing and putting it on her mouth. The second she did though, she gave a small jump, surprised by the taste it had. Even though it wasn't really a bad taste, it was still strange and not exactly something Myra enjoyed that much. Despite that, Darius emphasized how important it was to do that so she tried to ignore the taste and did it anyways. When she finished, she showed Darius her teeth just like he did to her before in a smile that would be adorable if it wasn't for the incredibly sharp teeth in her mouth.

When Darius started taking off his clothes, Myra knew what he was going to do, remembering the first time she saw him taking off his 'second skin' before entering the river. For some reason too, she knew that Darius didn't really liked when she watched him, so she went to the bed just like Darius suggested as he cleaned himself. Jumping on the bed just like she did the first time, she rolled on the bed a few times, enjoying the softness and the fluffy covers before wrapping herself on the covers, completely hiding herself under it.

Nina was surprised as she watched how easily the woman, who introduced herself as Asagi, was dealing with the robots. She was so accustomed with both the room and her cybernetic implants that she was dealing with them almost effortlessly. The way her movements changed ever so slightly was promptly noticed by Nina as her body and implants began operating on maximum efficiency. Especially how her limbs and movements were tracking the robots, almost like a smart system made Nina particularly curious about it, it seemed like the woman had more implants on her than Nina could see on the surface. Not only Asagi seemed to be incredibly experienced, but she was also seemed to be quite a nice person seeing as how she wasn't mad by both Nina's intrusion on her training session and the distraction she created.

"Whew, I'm glad you're not mad at both my intrusion in your training session and the distraction..." Nina said with a giggle as she continued despite it being her first time in the training room, she was adapting herself remarkably well to it. There were still a few mistakes and missteps here and there which required both a great deal of flexibility and speed for her to get out in one piece, but little by little, those mistakes were getting fewer and fewer.

"It's my first time, in the training room. Never saw one this advanced before!" Nina continued.

"The AI is particularly advanced too, isn't it? Had a few close ones, but I'm getting used on how the room works." Nina said as she jumped over a robot that threw itself in front of her, trying to restrain her movements.

"If you want to continue it's fine by me, I'm the one intruding on your training session after all." Nina said laughing.

"That said, I just wanted to stretch my legs a bit so I will probably head out in a moment. The interrogation was... let's say it was very thorough..." Nina finished. She didn't know if Asagi was aware of her circumstances for joining the NSF, but if she knew, it would be quite obvious why the interrogation took so long.

"Well, that and I'm not really using the appropriate equipment for training. I left most of my equipment, including my crossbow in my room..." Nina explained. Asagi would notice how she seemed to hesitate a bit as she mentioned her crossbow, which indicated that there was definitely something going on. Other than that, Asagi would notice the fact that despite having been in the room for a while and running in the same speed non-stop, Nina didn't give out the faintest signs of being exhausted.

After a brief moment walking, Nina finally arrived on the training room. Passing through an armored hallway that would put the ones in those movies about secret bases to shame, she could have a glimpse of how secure and advanced the NSF headquarters really was. The warnings on the hallway made it clear one shouldn't go in while someone else was in the middle of a training session and the read light above the door clearly stated that was the case. Despite that, Nina's curiosity was too big for her to just wait outside like a good girl.

The moment she opened the heavy doors though, she heard the music blasting at full volume in the dim lit room as a black haired woman fought against training robots in full concentration despite the chaos and loud music. Curious about the woman's fighting style, Nina simply stood by the entrance for a bit, watching how she fought while minding any possible stray bullets going towards her. It didn't take much for her to realize that the woman had all four limbs replaced by cybernetic ones, which it was clear due to how they were sometimes bending to hit enemies. It was clear for Nina even after just a brief moment observing that the woman was already used in training in that room, which was incredibly advanced by the way. Not only the AI seemed to be rather ruthless and cunning in their approach and way of fighting but the room itself was also able to recreate many obstacles and emulate many different situations, which made Nina interested on it.

Even though Nina had entered the room a few seconds, most of the AI robots were simply ignoring her and going for the other woman instead, making her wonder if the room had sensors to know who was currently in the room and training or if it was pre-programmed. While she was thinking about that though, a single robot went towards her, quickly answering her doubt. Surprised by it's agile movements and rather stealthy approach, Nina didn't think twice before kicking it with her bio-cybernetic legs, immediately making the robot, or what remained of it, which was mainly it's chest, fly through the room, going to the direction the other woman was.

"Dammit! I'm sorry! I didn't expect them to be this light!" Nina said as she dashed towards the woman with a frightening speed, getting near her the moment the parts of the destroyed robot was about to hit her before kicking it again, redirecting it and making hit another robot that was approaching the woman straight in the chest, making both of them almost immediately explode.

It all happened in the blink of an eye and the very moment after saying that, Nina had already dashed away, back to her initial position in the corner of the room to analyze the woman's fighting style and how the room worked. Unfortunately for Nina, the robot Ai apparently had already noticed her presence and was starting to send a few robots, albeit in a lower number than the ones surrounding the black haired woman, towards her.

It did take a while for Nina to get used to how the room worked and how the robots operated. The only reason why she wasn't shot or put down due to the small mistakes she made in this period of time where she was still getting accustomed with the training room was thanks to her almost ridiculous speed. It was obvious to her that the current difficulty was pretty unforgiving and any mistakes would result in her being shot down or wounded, as it was clear due to the few times she dodged a bullet or an attack from a robot by mere inches due to a mistake, but thanks to both her speed and due to the fact that she wasn't the only one inside the room, she was still able to adapt to the situation without suffering any damage.

After she finally started to get the hang of it though, Nina was even having fun as she ran around the room, using both her legs and the momentum from her speed to take out robots while stealing some of their guns to shoot as she ran around. Her fighting style was completely different from the black haired woman, as she never stood in the same place for too long, always running around, but it was still effective. Initially, she was hoping to just find a place to stretch her legs and wasn't expecting any combat at all, but now that she was already in the room, she wasn't finding the idea so bad.

Maeve listened with an alarmed expression, no wonder why Allard was in such a rage. Even though Allard was terribly wounded, he was still in panic due to not knowing where his daughter was.

"Calm down, Allard. You're already wounded, don't overexert yourself. Hildebrand knows how to take care of herself, it would be hard for them to capture her, wouldn't it? You taught her yourself, didn't you?" Maeve said as she tried to calm down the large man.

Truth be told, even though Maeve didn't know Allard's daughter, she seemed to be quite capable herself just by the way Maeve saw her moving herself while wearing her armor. Before she could say anything more though, she perceived, albeit a tad bit too late, that a few of the bandits were approaching them, sneakily going for Allard first as they tried to finish the wounded before fighting against Maeve herself. Much to her surprise (and at that point she was already asking herself if Allard was really human...), Allard, despite his wounded and weakened state, had enough strength to grab the head of one of the bandits and smash it full force on the stonework of the square, instantly crushing it's skull and killing him.

"It's impolite to interrupt someone while they are talking, didn't you know...?" Maeve said as she turned to the bandits with a scornful expression.

Calmly walking towards them with her rapier in her hand. After looking to each other, the remaining bandits smirked to themselves. For them, Maeve was just a noble lady that had too much of an attitude, even though she made a few flashy moves before, they would be able to take care of her easier than Allard, after all, the giant still had enough strength to kill one of the other members with his bare hand.

The second one of them approached her though, arcing his sword in an overhead strike, the second he went for the strike, he had just enough time to see his own hand, still grasping the sword, to fall on the ground as he felt the cold sting of Maeve's blade.

"So crude and unrefined... It seems I was expecting a bit too much from you all..." Maeve said, as she gave a step forward. Her rapier cut the air in an horizontal line, her movements were weightless and graceful, almost as she was dancing as she stopped beside the bandit in an elegant, dignified posture with her blade still extended in the position she cut the man. The unfortunate bandit didn't even have time to react as her blade slit his throat, leaving a thin, blade like ice trail behind her rapier. From his slit throat though, no blood came out, instead, his wound was completely frozen as he fell on the ground, gasping for his life, opening his mouth in a mute scream.

"If you don't have the talent to fight, at least have the decency to die." she said, looking to both of the other bandits.

Rushing towards her at the same time, the last bandit wielding a sword was dealt with swiftly, with a single lunge of her blade, piecing through the bandit's heart, striking him before he could even swing his blade. The bandit felt a terrible cold, coming from inside his chest. The beautiful blade wielded by the Isoli girl was much crueler than he could have imagined. There was no bleeding from the small puncturing wound on his chest, just cold. A terrible freezing sensation coming deep within his chest.

"An axe... So you think you can overpower me with raw strength? It will definitely be fun to watch you try... Amuse-me." she said, with a cold tone as she looked to the last bandit's confident expression as he held his axe.

Instead of killing him in one blow though, Maeve was clearly playing with him as she effortlessly dodged every attack the bandit gave, laughing as she replied with a single attack of her own, avoiding both vital spots and making too deep of a cut in order to keep the bandit alive. From each cut, the man would feel his flesh, blood and skin being frozen solid. With every movement, he would feel the pain of thousands of ice needles piercing his flesh and the pain of his frozen wounds cracking and breaking with his sudden movements.

After what seemed to be an eternity for the bandit, he fell on his knees. His body didn't have the strength to continue anymore. A multitude of wounds covered the man's body, ones completely frozen while the others had a terrible blue color from Maeve's cold blade.

"Disappointing." she said, as she slit his throat with a flick of her wrist. The moment his blood began gushing out of his throat though, Maeve gave a small jump away as she snapped her fingers, making it freeze in midair, creating a terrifying, but at the same time, beautiful scene. The bandit's frozen blood, reflecting the light from the burning buildings behind them gave the crimson ice coming out of his throat a particularly beautiful shine.

"My dress!" she exclaimed, looking towards her own dress to confirm it wasn't stained with the bandit's blood.

"Unpleasant, even in death..." Maeve said, turning towards Allard again as she sheathed her rapier.

"Come, let's go to the inn. Let me do something about your wounds. Honestly... I am surprised on how you're still alive..." Maeve said, as she tried to do her best to help Allard to walk, despite his weight exceeding her own a number of times.

The moment Zorrah said what Myra wanted to hear, indicating she did understand her request for meat, Myra gave a small happy jump, with a smile on her face. She was happy that the woman not only understood what she had said but didn't seem to have any problems with her request as well. Her eyes were almost shining as she discreetly licked her lips. She was indeed looking forward to the meat that it would be given to her. Plus, Zorrah's comment of not adding any vegetables made Myra even happier, she did remember the few times Darius tried to make her eat vegetables saying that they were good for her health. Sticking her tongue out with a disgusted expression when Zorrah mentioned the vegetables Myra nodded happily as she said she wouldn't put them on her meat.

Apparently, It wasn't that hard to buy Myra's trust. One just needed food... Well... A good amount of food and to treat her right.

With the matter of food having been dealt with, Kol continued his tour through Edena with both Darius and Myra. This time, they were heading to where both Darius and Myra would stay and sleep. Having never seen a proper 'room' before, Myra didn't know what to think nor she had any specific expectations, instead being simply curious about it. When they arrived there though, Darius' words sounded as surprised as Myra was at that moment...

She wasn't expecting something that big. Honestly, it not only had enough space for her to lay down on the ground with her tail fully extended and sleep however she wanted, but it actually had more space than Myra knew what to do with. Upon giving the first step inside the room, the carpet on the ground immediately drew her attention as she stepped on it. It's texture was strange, but not in a bad way. It was kind of fluffy and it tickled her feet as she walked on it. Raising her feet and then putting them down slowly, Myra examined the carpet, interested on it's strange texture.

The next victim of Myra's curiosity though was the bed. After finally getting over the initial shock that feeling the carpet on her feet gave her, she slowly moved towards the bed. At first, she got close, simply touching it. Upon realizing that it was not only incredibly soft but the fur thing on top of it also had a strange, incredibly comfortable texture she stood up, raising her arms and letting herself fall belly first on the bed, grabbing the fur thing with her hands, bringing it close to her body and covering her entire body with it as she curled herself inside the small 'cocoon' she had just made. Leaving only her face out of it, she looked at Darius, incredibly satisfied with the bed.

In the ruined town of Sharon, Shalador

"I see..." Mikhail replied, nodding as he heard both Xandar and Bellinar's words, considering what they said to him.

Not only their words made a lot of sense, but Mikhail knew very well that both Xandar and the Eyrien brothers knew how to take care of themselves and undoubtedly were able to protect Faeril. In the other hand, Jandar would already have his hands full by acting as a noble, so it would be a good idea to have someone else that could protect them. Knowing Mikhail's skills, there was no one better to keep an eye on them without attracting attention than him since they couldn't just take Xandar or others with them as they would attract a lot of attention.

"I'm counting on you." Mikhail said towards Xandar and the Eyrien brothers with a nod, trusting him with the task of protecting Faeril, before he walked towards Jandar, Fatima and Dareen. When he arrived, their conversation was already finished and Jandar himself was apparently getting back after using a sight shield to take a quick bath and changing his clothes.

The moment he got closer to them though, he saw Fatima going to where Faeril was, before clinging on to Xandar with a rather strange, fearful expression in her face. Despite Fatima's strange reaction, Mikhail continued to where Jandar and Dareen where in order to know their plans.

"It has been decided that I will accompany you to the town. There is no need to be concerned about my presence or even for a possible role for me, as my presence will not be noticed." Mikhail said, approaching Jandar and Dareen.

"I just need to know if the initial plans changed, so I can act accordingly." Mikhail finished, looking to both of them.

Mikhail did hear a bit and knew what they had roughly decided before he went to talk with the Eyrien brothers, but he didn't know if anything had changed from the previous plan where Jandar would act as a wealthy merchant.
Nori Hirai

The second the strange girl mentioned that they couldn't go walking around in their 'transformed' forms, Nori let out a smirk as he looked at his clothes.

"Oh, this? No, this is just my kimono." he said with a chuckle and a smile.

The rest of what the strange girl had said though was indeed a valuable information. The same rules that were applied to the monsters, were applied to them too due to their powers. The part about possible permanent damage to their own reality was definitely something Nori would want to avoid...

"I'm glad that you liked the idea! It's never a bad thing to just stop for a while and relax." Nori said with a kind smile, glad that not only the strange girl, but a few other members also seemed to like the idea.

After arriving on the Heaven's Rest, the group began asking for their orders and sitting down to relax or talk. Nori had heard about the place, but it was the first time he had entered it. It had quite a cozy and comfortable atmosphere giving the sensation almost of an old fashioned home. Overall, the type of place Nori wouldn't mind to spend some time relaxing.

As he gave a few steps towards the counter though, he watched the homeless girl, who was the 'other me' that the detective girl had told them about back when they had finished fighting the monster, looking at the display and the sweets within, nervously glancing around.

Luckily for her, the chains guy stopped in the middle of his order, saying that she could ask him what she wanted from the display.

"Don't worry too much about it. Just feel free to ask what you want. It's our treat." Nori said, approaching both of them and giving a friendly wink towards the girl, encouraging her before nodding towards the guy.

When the strange girl asked for a sweet too, Nori couldn't help but to chuckle at her honesty and straightforwardness. Even though she had asked quite an expensive dessert, it was clear that she was quite mesmerized by it as she looked at the cheese cake with sparkling eyes.

"You do have quite an expensive taste, don't you?" Nori said, teasing the strange girl with a thoughtful expression, while giving a discreet wink to the guy near them. He was already going to buy one for the homeless girl, so Nori could get one to the strange girl. Otherwise his generosity would end up being quite expensive for him.

"But... It is a 'special' occasion, isn't it? As long as you are willing to share it with me, I can buy it for you." Nori said, smiling before he went to the counter and asked the very cake the girl had asked for.

"I'm Nori Hirai by the way. Feel free to call me just Nori." He said, looking to the group as he finished paying for his order.
