Species
Half Celestial - One of many different types of non-human beings who share the godlike/holy characteristics of being more powerful, longer-lived, and, in general, much happier than humans. They tend to live peaceful lives, never staying in one spot long as they love to wander and fight of dark souls that come along their paths to protect others. They grant wishes and miracles to those that are in need though they are rarely seen. Those that have seen Celestials describe them as soft and calming, giving a sense of peace even in the darkest of times to those that are near. Their smell changing to suit each person's senses and always seeming to draw the light to them. They can have up to six wings in total, three pairs each, but each extra set it earned with time and the wings are almost always the palest of colors with accented tips. The most common being white with golden tips.

Description
The sounds of a rippling stream echoed through a silent forest. The night air bringing a slight chill from the gentle summer breeze which carried with it the pleasant smell of pine. The shadows danced in the light of the moon as the trees shifted in the wind, fireflies twinkling their own luminescence to chase away any fear of the darkness along the narrow path. The dried needles on the forest floor crunched under each step forward with no destination in hand but the hope for a clearing to appear along the way. As if your prayers had been heard, the illumination of pure moonlight showed ahead which were the telltale signs of an opening in the vast amount of trees that made up this forest. A rush of excitement flooded your being and your pace quickens from the relaxed one that you had been content with earlier. You need only to rush through the bushes to reach the steam but you are stopped, stunned by the beautiful glittering waters in the moon's glow though it seemed more focused unusually in one spot. Yielding to your curiosity, you followed the natural brush along the river's edge until you spotted a young woman standing in water. A sudden feeling that you should not be here is what crawls into your gut but you can't seem to pull yourself away. It is then that you make your choice, ducking down into the bushes, being sure not to be caught. You hide and watch, as she performs a moonlit ritual under the stars.

Platinum blonde hair, like threads of gold spun from a spinning wheel, dipped into the water and creating strands of swirling gold against the clear crystal water. A splash of color stood out against the pale of her hair in the form of turquoise feathers flaring out on each side of her head just like a stylish head dressing. As she held her crystal to the moonlight you continued your gaze upon the delicate softness to her face which gave a feeling of friendliness and serenity. The porcelain ivory of her skin against the platinum blonde hair made it seem like she had a divine glow about her that was comparable to the moonlight itself. It was only now when her eyes began to flutter open that you had even noticed they had been closed in the first place and your breath caught in your throat at the sight. The eyes were a dazzling sky blue that would remind anyone of the sunniest days and they sparkled with such joy, it was mesmerizing. You find yourself standing, walking past the bushes and toward this young woman. You want to be closer, hear her voice, and let her light heal what ails you. You find yourself nearing the water's edge when you stop, shaking your head and debate moving back to your spot. Was it really right to startle her? You find yourself standing by the shoreline, debating on just leaving now while you still have your dignity but instead you stay where you are just a few moments longer as this petite young woman no taller then 5'7 waded through the water, the flowing black wings tipped with turquoise at her hips gliding over the water.

Suddenly, your eyes meet and shock reflected in her eyes for only a moment before they softened and looked you over for a single moment. You feel frozen and curse yourself for continuing such a shameful act all due to curiosity and that feeling of desperately wishing to meet this person in front of you. Her gaze moved along the shoreline, not even a defensive pose showing in her form but certainly, she must be wondering what you were doing and if you are even alone. Those soft doe eyes moved back to you, locked on your form as she made her way to shore and you think for a split moment that you could run into the darkness of the forest and forget this night. Why did you feel the need to stay? It didn't matter, it was too late as she was stepping out of the water and not even bothering to wring anything out as she stepped in front of you. The smell of lavender and vanilla invading your scenes which caused you to think it was slightly unfitting for her in your opinion. You thought she would have the scent of rain in the air or fresh cut roses but it was not that disappointing to realize it was something else. It was still pleasant after all. It was in that moment that the smell of lavender and vanilla faded, the comforting smell of rain and roses taking its place which calmed the nerves that were on edge about meeting this young woman and the fact that you had even been caught.

"Are you lost?" a soft and warm voice like melting honey spoke. It was so sweet and smooth that you could easily listen for hours if given a choice. Those sky blue eyes looked to you, concern etched on her features as she waited patiently for an answer. Your words would not come and you find yourself shaking your head 'no'. She looked confused now as if asking with no words, 'why are you here'? It was hard to even start to explain but instead, she graced you with a smile and held out her hand. "If you are alone, please join us for the evening. It will be safer than camping here." You want to reach out, take the offer that was being given but there was no way to tell if the others in her group were as agreeable as she was. You give another shake of your head before giving a small bow to show respect for the young woman that would remain unnamed and continued on your way and this time drawing your blade, taking heed of her warning.

Strengths
She is calm in the face of adversity. When presented keeps calm and focuses on the issue. If she feels threatened or upset, she does not let it show even in her body language and tries to get a solution to the problem though she can be stubborn if she thinks her way will be better. Usually, she will hold in her problems or issues to herself and has trouble leaning on others or showing her upset as she does not want them to worry.

Astraea has deep emotions for those close to her and wants to make sure they are cared for. She takes the time to listen and will always help if possible. She cares about those around her even if she doesn’t know them and will give advice or offer assistance if the situations calls for it. She worries and fusses, which can sometimes be seen as negative but it means she cares and loves you.

She is extremely protective. Many see her as quiet and soft but if you ever harm those she is loyal to and care for then you will see a much harder side. She will defend others even at the cost of it meaning pain for her. She has a mothering nature to her which makes her defensive when she feels those she loves are being threatened or in danger.

She is kind to all she meets and is of a positive personality. She is the kind of person that makes you feel welcome and warm in her presence. She is sympathetic with the pain of others and shows the kindness they need in times of hardship. She will not fault those that lash out at her and fights are quickly compromised. She make sure that communication is key. A peacekeeper when times are hard.

She has an abundance of patience and will help guide you to the answers but lets you figure things out in your own time. She can stand many things that might be annoying or unpleasant for far longer than most so if she speaks up, it means many would have given up long before this point and you should listen.

Flaws
Though she is kind and caring, Astraea is actually a very guarded when it comes to herself. She is not open to pasting out information about what she is feeling and hides her pain as to not worry others or inconvenience them. She puts up walls, which makes it hard to be completely close.

She can be far too trusting of others. She believes very much that you are innocent till proven guilty. She is not ignorant of the evils that the world holds but she hopes for the goodness in others. They may seem dark but maybe some good is till in there that can grow if just given the chance. This cannot always be possible and causes trouble.

She is a sensitive soul and does not actually care for much violent. She feels pain when others when they are sad or upset. This makes it sometimes hard to hunt or fight. Sh does not like seeing cruelty.

She can be extremely stubborn and metaphorically dig her heels into the ground when she feels she is doing the right thing. It is hard to convince her of certain things at times which can be frustrating. It isn’t to say she won’t listen to reason, it is just a difficult process.

She is always busy taking care of everyone else that she forgets to take care of herself. She will always end up serving herself last or if there is not enough then she will try to go without. If she is sick, then she will try to pretend she is fine so she doesn’t slow the group down. If she is hurt then she tries to deal with it herself. She would give up her life if it meant saving someone else which could be scary thought for others.

Neutral
Astraea loves walking in the rain. The feel of it in her skin and the way it slicks off her wings. The fresh smell of the earth and the distinct scent that is the rain. The sound of thunder gives her chills as it is unpleasant but it is worth it to see the lightning dance through the sky. She can often be found standing or dancing in the rain with no care of sickness. It is also nice to be in the rain sometimes because no one can see you cry.

She has a love of nature and all the sounds that come with her give her peace. She enjoys sitting around a crackling fire and roughing it. The hike to the perfect spot and setting up camp. The elements against you and surviving through it all. It is as thrilling as it can be peaceful

She loves the day but there is something to be said about the night and watching the sky. The glittering of stars against an inky black night. The way the moon glows and watching the cycle as it fades away only to return again. It reminds her of hope, that light can pierce through the dark.

Astraea has a joy for knowledge and the feeling that books give you. They let you draw away from the world to somewhere totally new. The feelings the story can bring out in you that you weren’t sure you could feel. The ability to enjoy and learn. Words can be a powerful thing.

She loves singing and luckily has the voice for it. She often can be found singing lullabies or humming while she cooks dinner. It makes her happy to have others enjoy her songs.

The feel of rushing water, relaxing and floating in a stream or lake. She jokes many times that maybe she was a mermaid in another life. It is something about water that just makes her feel refreshed and ready to take on the world. She did most of her thinking while swimming.

Her ears are very sensitive to sound and she finds it disorienting when a loud noise suddenly breaks out. It makes her cringe and sometimes just cover her ears altogether. If the noise is continuous, it can even give her headaches.

She doesn’t like bullies and she definitely does not appreciate unnecessary cruelty. You do not have to be hateful. There are better ways of doing things.

She loves tastes that are sweet or spicy but when they are bitter she just wants to make a face. She has tried to get past this and try new things but it just is the worse in her opinion.

Astraea cannot stand when other people only think of themselves. It makes her feel frustrated that the one person's selfish actions affect everyone but they don’t care. It is all about them and she just can’t see why anyone would do this.

She doesn’t like her wings touched unless she trusts someone completely. They are delicate and not everyone understands this. It also would be extremely hard to deal with a broken wing in the position they are at. She does enjoy her hair being brush and played with though and does not mind the feather there being touched.

Skills
She enjoys cooking new recipes and making favorites that others like. It is calming for her and she has a passion for trying new ideas when possible. New combinations make it always a learning experience and new joys to be found.

Sewing made the most sense to learn this skill so that quick fixes on the road could be made and with any luck, sell some outfits for a bit of extra money. You never know when it could come in handy. It could even come into use when deep wounds were to happen

Big game is not always around to hunt so to make up for this, Astraea has learned how to set traps. She is actually quite good at making them and could actually keep the camp safe from bandits with a few of them. The best part is that she will not have to chase after her target and let it come to her.

Her Mama taught her how to fish at a young age so she would always be able to have food to eat even if she did not have a weapon for big game or if she couldn't trap anything. She is very good with actually spearing fish, knowing how to be patient enough to wait still in the water. The best way to get a lot of fish though is always through the fishing pole route which was also taught to her.

Focal Crystal
A pale shimmering blue focal crystal was encased in a silver intricate design with a white gold crescent moon looking up to the sky and resting just about the blue crystal. White moonstone gems and clear sparkling crystals dangled from the bottom of the intricate design though the largest clear crystal in the middle suspended a blue star. The same stones trailing the bottom of the necklace weaved into the chain.

Special Equipment
Bag of Holding - This bag has an interior space considerably larger than its outside dimensions. The bag can hold up to 500 pounds, not exceeding a volume of 64 cubic feet. The bag weighs 15 pounds max, regardless of its contents. When looking into the bag, items appear smaller than they actually are until pulled from the bag to return to normal size. Living items are not to ever go in this bag or they shall die.

Kindred Bracelets - When two people are wearing one of these bracelets, they are always aware of when the other is in life-threatening danger. This bracelet adjusts in size to fit the wearer.

Equipment
As Astraea has a bag that can hold more than most, she has items to hold that are not her own along with her own items. The items that are hers include cooking kit, bowls, plates, utensils, clothes, snare/trap equipment, fishing pole, books for her and some that she knows the little ones enjoy, journal, quill, inkwell, sewing kit, blankets, flint, hairbrush, bandages, breads, dried fruit, nuts, dried meats, dried spices and herbs.

Weapon
Chain Whip

Special Attack
Miracles - It is what the word Miracle encompass. She can turn a single coin in a purse into a full sack of gold, make an empty water sack full again, and help you be guided on the right path. It's a prayer or a wish. It's wish magic in an essence. It only works for those that are in desperate need of her miracles. Everything has its limits and not all prayers can be answered. No matter if she wanted to bless them.

Spellbook
A dark blue book, the spine and edges decorated in complex gold designs looped around pearls. A string of white crystals danced across the front of the book, just under the large round midnight blue gem that made up the main focal point of the cover. When active, the midnight blue gem glows with runic symbols, the white crystals alight and the dark blue of the books cover suddenly glitters with spots of light like stars in the night sky. This is usually stored in her bag.

School of Focus
Light

Lesser Spell
Sanctuary - Bless oneself or another ally for 1 "turn". That person will not take damage next time they are targeted for an attack.

Miracle's Light - Those in the range of this spell feel stronger and get a boon in strength. Undead and Deamon whenever in Miracle's Light strength are cursed and cause a weakening effect. Miracle's Light shines a radius around the user that reaches up to 10ft circumference. Those in the area need to be in the range of Miracle's Light in order to receive its blessing.

Semblance View - This illusionary magic needs a base object roughly the same size as what you are trying to make appear in others eyes. If you wish to have a coin appear, you would need to find something like a rock that is the same size. This effect only lasts only so long and needs magic to be held in place.

Medium Spell
Luminous Smite- This spell does a blast of light that harms those that are undead and deamon by performing a burning effect, but has a "healing" aura to non-undead/deamon. Certain Halflings would be an exception to this rule as it would cancel out both effects.

Misc Battle Info
- When in a fight, Astraea is more of a defensive fighter. She will try to keep everyone else healed and protected, this being her main focus but will put up a pretty skilled fight if she needs too. She is not one to be understimated.

Arrival
She knelt down beside the edge of her bed, tears dripping from sapphire eyes as she hung her head in defeat, the wavy blond hair cascading down like a curtain that blocked her view from the world. Would she forever continue to lose those she loved? Monaxía lightly touched the bracelet at her wrist, her heartbreaking more as she knew its counterpart would be placed back in her hands soon with the news of her beloved's death. The twisted gold band of the Kindred Bracelet sparkled in the moonlight, the gift feeling more like a curse in this moment. She had felt when he was in danger and could do nothing while he was away at war. This time she felt no connect and no hum of magic waiting to warn her which meant the danger had not passed this time. She was alone in this world, with not even a child to remember him by. How many times had she lost them? How many flowers marked their graves? Why was life so unfair to her? First, she lost her parents, then she lost her children and now the love of her life. She had finally found happiness with a man that cared not that she had no dowry to her name, that she was of ill health, that she lived on the outer rim of town, and that she would never be able to bare him a child. He loves her for her. The way she was clumsy, the way she loved laying in the grass, the way she played with her hair when she was nervous and the smile that only he got to see. Monaxía had felt blessed to have him in her life and now she had no idea what she would do. She tilted her head up to the night sky, a shooting star passing by. She closed her eyes and prayed for a miracle. Monaxía didn’t want to be alone in this world and she would accept their gift in whichever form they blessed her with should they see fit to grant it. Not all prayers would be answered but she hoped this time, hers had been heard.

Pain gripped her, clutching the sheet and trying to breathe as she was asked by the midwives. She was afraid that she wouldn’t make it, that the child she had been blessed with would have her fate to be alone. She felt so weak and she just wanted to rest. No, she wouldn’t let that happen! She had to keep going and think positive. She prayed to her beloved, Kleos, for strength through this trail. It had been hours and all she wanted to hear was her baby’s cry now. She pushed when she was told and after many more hours, she finally was able to relax, her child crying. The midwives were chattering, panic in the air and she was scared for a single moment that something was wrong or perhaps the child was stillborn when they quickly placed the child in her arms. Monaxía has never seen a more beautiful child. Sure, her daughter seemed to have a little deformity at her hips but she could care less because she was holding her daughter. This was a moment she had always waited for and though her beloved would not be rushing in to join her in her joy, she still felt happiness. They would live and she would do everything to always be there for her child.

The two sat under the cherry tree, enjoying the bright sunny day after filling the buckets with a good amount of the tasty red treat. Astraea could not wait for her Mama to make her famous cherry pie. Well, it was famous to the little girl at least though she didn’t have others to compare it too. At first people thought she was a freak and laughed, but as her feathers came in they start to treat her bad in other ways so Mama told her they had to keep to their own. Mama told her the story, how the Celestials had blessed her with a child so she could share her life with another and told her of Papa so she knew why he was not here with them. Mama told her it was alright to be different even if everyone else fear what they did not understand. She hoped one day she could show the others she was a good girl and that they would stop hurting Mama’s feelings. Mama always says one day people would understand her but that day seemed so far away.

Monaxía hummed a gentle tone, petting Astraea’s hair and making sure to avoid the feathers that had grown there. She grew more beautiful every day and she was so proud of the sweet girl her daughter was. It had been why she took her away from town, not wanting her to fear the world around her because people were showing how cruel they could be. When Astraea had wandered off at market, she had been more terrified at losing her and cursing herself for not watching more carefully. It was when she found her baby, curled up in a ball while crying and bruises littering her small form that she made sure that Astraea would never be hurt again by these cruel beings. She had hugged her baby, crying for her and anger was bitter towards the town even more now than ever before.

She had started a personal garden that day and started selling her merchandise to the next town over. It would mean more work and trading for awhile but it was worth it in her eyes. The last few months had been so peaceful and things had started to really look up for the two of them. Monaxía sneezed, the motion killing the calm mood she was creating with her humming.

Astraea looked up, a little startled and worry showing clearly on her face. Her Mama just smiled and blamed the spring air but she was worried as it was happening more often lately. She knew how to make a fire and some simple things like tea but she couldn’t feed her Mama if she got sick, at least not the things her Mama made when she needed to feel better. The nice man, already came by a few days ago so he wouldn’t be back till a very long time cause they wouldn’t be able to trade. Her Mama didn’t seem to be pale and wasn’t even coughing though so maybe it was nothing just like Mama said.

She sat on the floor, folding each item of clothing as her Mama lay in bed, weakly telling her how to fold and what should go in the pack. She asked Mama if they were going somewhere but all she would get was a sad smile and a ‘I hope not’. She kept getting sicker and the doctors here would not help her. It was all her fault. If she was a normal girl then Mama would be helped but instead, she had been getting worse since that night when some of the townspeople came.

She had been told to stay inside but Astraea had opened the window to hear what was going on. They demanded she be handed over, taken to the Council Seven for judgment and that her Mama had brought shame to this town and would be tried as well if she did not do as she was told. She knew her Mama was not healthy, that even now, just standing before them that she was putting on a show of strength. She told them to be gone and that if the Council had anything to say that they could say it in person. They threatened her to which she gave them a bow to the face with an arrow to make her point known. Blood would be spilled if they did not leave so they left, saying they would be back.

That was days ago and now, her Mama would not be able to stand up to them again. She couldn’t even get out of bed and Astraea had been following her instructions what to do and how. It was very strange that Mama wanted none of her own things packed yet and was focused on getting everything for her packed first. She didn’t mind packing for her Mama if only she told her what she wanted but maybe there was too much and her things were easier to pack.

Darkness fell on their little home, no moon to shine its light. A heavy feeling hung in the air, like something bad was about to happen. Neither of the house's occupants could sleep as they lay in bed, the little girl not willing to be far from her Mama’s side as she could need something in the night. It was so silent that not even the crickets dare chirp and it made this nagging feeling even worse. It was in this quiet silence that Monaxía spoke up softly, “Are you still awake my shining star?”

“Yes Mama, do you need something?”

“I need you to promise me something.”

“Anything, just name it.”

“If something should happen to me. I want you to take the bag you packed today and leave this place. Do you understand? Can you promise me this?”

“What are you saying? Why do you want me to leave you?!”

Her Mama weakly and painfully rolled to her side, tears streaming down her cheeks as she looked to her.

“I would never want to leave you but it is not safe here and I do not know if I will be strong enough to go with you. I fear that the townspeople will try something horrible and I could not stand it if you were hurt because of me. Promise me, that when I tell you to run, you will take the bag and leave this place.”

“I will, Mama.”

“I need to hear you promise.”

“I promise.”

“That is my good girl.” Her Mama smiled for a moment before pulling the twisted bracelet from her wrist and sliding it onto Astraea’s free wrist, one bracelet on each. “Now Papa and I will always be with you and we will be able to watch over you and anyone you need to protect.”

Astraea hugged her Mama tightly, feeling like this was a goodbye. It was a memory she etched in her mind just in case she had to do as she promised and leave but she wanted to remember everything she could about her in this moment. She felt a dry kiss on her forehead and barely even felt the hug around her for how light it was.

It wasn’t long before this moment was broken, shadows of light dancing through the windows as a crowd of people came, torches being held by the Council Seven and others speckled through the crowd. The two looked in terror as without warning, they tossed the fires to the roof of their home and onto the grass. They did not come to speak or give them a chance. They had made the decision to kill them both, cowardly in the night.

“Run! Go now!”

“But Mama!”

“Promise.”

Astraea froze for but a moment before jumping out of bed, coughing as the smoke began to build and pieces of roof fell. She looked back to her Mama, before having to head towards the back door, her heart breaking and tears never stopping. She couldn’t leave without her knowing. She didn’t think her Mama would make it and she felt worse for feeling like she was abandoning her.

“I love you, Mama.”

“I love you too, Astraea. Run.”

She ran straight for the back door, tears burning her eyes among other things as she grabbed the pack of clothes and food by the door. Astraea knocked the door open, not stopping as she ran as fast as her feet could take her. She only took a brief moment to look back once she was at the edge of the Thorned Forest and watched her home engulfed in flames and heard the cheers of joy from the crowd at the horrible crime they had done. Everything she had ever known and loved, gone. She steeled herself, heading into the dark forest. There were tales of the Thorned Forest, all mana of creatures lurking to kill a man at first sight but that would be her fate either way and at least in the forest, she could hide.

How long had she been here? She did not know. She hid in caves and dens, fighting off creatures and covering her ears to avoid being lured by others. It didn’t matter how long she wandered, she couldn’t get out. Now she knew why the Council banished people here. You thought you might be saved but it was a lie. The choice was death or death if you did not know how to avoid the creatures as most didn’t. The nice man that visited had told her some tales, they had saved her more than once.

The rain fell, panic and cold filling her being as she had not found a place to stay for the night. The full moons glow not even lighting most of the area as the clouds kept passing by. She scrambled, trying to not run into any danger that was sure to be lurking. She could hear the clomping of footfalls and was now wide open in a clearing. Astraea shivered, the rain pouring down harder than before and making it even harder to see but she didn’t stop moving as the noise got closer. She missed her Mama. She missed home. She wanted out of here.

She cried out, tripping over a loose root and landing into the mud. Astraea tried to push herself up, the sticky goo clinging to her and making her slip about while she tried to stand. A hand grabbed her and she screamed, struggling to get away when a familiar voice spoke out, asking why she was here. She looked up, the nice man that Mama always traded with was looking back down at her. Worry etched on his face, his hand firm on her shoulder while the other one held onto the horse. He picked her up, placing her in his covered cart. He wrapped her up in a blanket, letting her get warm and get some rest as he headed forward.

Nicolas had thought the girl was dead when he found the whole place burnt. The locals had said that lightning had struck, killing the family that had lived there. The little girl in his cart made him think different now. It wouldn’t be safe to take her back but he couldn’t care for her either. The only place he knew that would take in an orphan like this girl would be Gertie’s. It would be her best chance. It was then that he changed course to give this girl a new home and a new chance.

Misc
- Astraea’s hometown is named Fort Halloway.
- The Thorned Forest surrounds most of the town and they have build spiked walls to protect themselves though some live outside the walls and hunt nearby.
- Monaxía sold some of the game she hunted, trapped and fished for. She also crafted, sewed and knitted items for sale to make a good living. She taught some of these skills to Astraea though she did not learn them all.

I would love to join! I might need a little help on the system as I have never really done anything like this but I love the story too much to say no! ^-^
@Master Crim

Sadly, the owner of the company and HR is the problem. It is why quitting is the best choice so I can work with my agents and take them out of the mix or work for a new company that will treat me right and take care of me.
Rae might go Rambo on their asses....I feel sorry for any rats left in the hall....she does not like losing patients and vengeance must be had.
@webboysurf

It has been a hard decision and a rough one but I need to take care of me so it is time to have a change. I have one interview done and they want to hire me but I am still doing another interview on Monday so I have options. I am a worrier so I am hanging with family to keep my mind off it and going one step at a time. Writing helps me which is why a post will be up sooner then later.
Hi everyone, I will post when I can. I have decided to quit my job and they aren’t treating me right and that means lots of interview as well as choice to make. I am with family tonight and will probably be able to post later tonight or tomorrow.

A delightful jiggle rang out in the cramped single bedroom, causing the twin bed's current occupant to moan in slight protest at being pulled from slumber. She rolled onto her stomach, ebony hair spilling in all directions while hands blindly reached under the pillow as she felt around to find the offending object. She felt her hand brush against a solid smooth object and grasped it, pulling it out from under the pillow and finally cracking her chestnut eyes open to stare at the phone clutch between her fingers. A notice flashed onto the screen that stated 'prepare for parade day' as the alarm still jiggled at her to start the day. Nilin tapped the clock off, pushing herself up to sit on the edge of the bed before stretching her arms up to the ceiling and feeling her bones snap. She moved over to the dresser carefully, reaching for her wire-framed glasses and thinking about how today would go as she placed them on. It could just be a wonderful time and seem almost like a festival with food and fun but in a crowd of so many people, it worried her. She didn’t want anyone to get hurt because of her. It made her think that maybe the best route would be to link with someone before the parade.

Nilin shook her head lightly, pushing those thoughts away and just focusing on getting ready, all the while praising herself for taking a shower the night before. She moved to her closet, taking out the outfit she had planned for the occasion, hoping to get ready a little sooner or at least be prepared should she need the extra time as she wasn’t sure how the morning would end up. Nilin laid a short bright red dress out on the bed, admiring the simple tooling that made it seem light and flows to her and the way the thin belt that was decorated with a gold plate to make the outfit pop a bit. She had wanted to add a little flair of her own and placed a black leather jacket next to the dress which would save her bare arms from the cold as well. A pair of black tights were tossed on the other side of the dress and a pair of black pumps with a thin ankle strap set on the floor just in front of her outfit.

Everything now in place for the afternoon, she decided to head out in the direction of the kitchen, not caring that she was still in her pajamas
while seeing what kind of breakfast Jensen or Gemina was making because she was a little behind in that category. Heck, she was debating skipping breakfast all together but she felt it would be rude if anyone had taken the time to make her a plate since that was usually what Gemina would do, wanting to make sure everyone was cared for. On her way there, Myles popped out of the bathroom looking a little frazzled but clearly dressed for the event to come. He acknowledged her presences with a lazy wave and a quick "Hey" which she started to say 'morning' in reply but was fallen on deaf ears as he ran off to his bedroom or at least she figured that was the case by the direction he was going. Nilin couldn't help but smile at this because for some reason she found it charming. She was just about to continue on her way when Gemina glided around the corner in the most fabulous dress she had ever seen her wear which meant Viorel had put a lot of love into it for his beautiful wife. A sliver necklace laced with two sapphires placed at her neck pulling the outfit together.

"Gemina, you look completely stunning!" Nilin gasped in complete awe as a large smile plastered onto her face.

Today her soul had been touched, not simply her physical being, but her soul. She overflowed with giddiness and excitement as she twirled in it.

“It is the most wonderful gift to be given” she said and touched the necklace, “This necklace we lost in Germany on the night of our anniversary, what I mean is I got the necklace for our anniversary, it was dear and then it disappeared. I am overjoyed to wear it again.”

Gemina was positively glowing with joy, in a way that even Nilin had never seen before. It made her heart warm to see the other woman this way and wished it was something she could see always. She took the other woman’s hands into her own and smiled brightly. “Viorel really has out done himself this time on your dress but I am so glad the necklace was found after so many years so you could wear it once more instead of just cherishing the memory. That can’t be the only reason you are so tickled pink right now, what else happened?”

Gemina smiles, “smiles” isn’t quite the word though her eyes seemed iridescent and her aura danced.

“He called our outing a date, he’s taking me out on a date, he touched me in places,” she blushed and covers her face, “I dare not say. He made me feel a little reckless. I want more. I want him to be reckless more.” She let’s go of Nilin’s hands to slowly and gracefully spin in the tight room. How she manages without clipping herself on any corners is a mystery. As if dancing had come to her so easily and naturally she understood the portions of her own dimensions even in the smallest room. She was told once by someone who had taught her to do so, to learn movement you pretend to be in a small box, “Will he have flowers? Renew our vows? Oh please Nilin. Make my face beautiful like the young girls of today. Make my hair beautiful. Please I beg of you.” she had stopped spinning at this point and had grab Nilin’s hands again tightly squeezing them and looking desperately at Nilin.

“We will make your hair and makeup so beautiful that he will have no other choice but to remember how lucky he is that you are his and have to give you a passionate kiss.” Nilin stated seriously, now making this her complete mission. She lead Gemina to one of the single bedrooms that had yet to be occupied and nodded. Yes, this would be her studio and Gemina would be her greatest project. “Have a seat on the bed, I am going to go grab my makeup bag and we will get to work on your transformation. I have so many ideas, it is going to be perfect.” She stated in complete confidence before rushing back into her room and yanking open one of the dresser doors to grab a black leather bag full of all her makeup supplies.

She walked back in, setting the bag on the dresser that has already been supplied for the room and started to pull out the items she wanted to work with. A lot of soft silvers and white eyeshadows, some black eye liners and the softest pinks of lipsticks she owned that would be the most subtle. Nilin had the vision and she was going to make it a reality. She nodded to herself, turning to Gemina with a smile and one of the silver eyeshadows in her hand. “Close your eyes and I’ll let you know when to open them.” She said gently.

She could barely sit still at this point, as she felt Nilin’s hands on her face. Her fantasies were taking her places, as she felt Nilin brush past her hair. She simply swung her legs excitedly as she felt Nilin’s brush on her eyes. She’d hand out instructions like, “Head up” and she would follow them the prospect of Nilin making her like a living painting enthralled her.

“Say Nilin, let me pick out your dress as a thank you,” Gemina told her as she looked up to a dazzling light as Nilin worked a pen in her waterline, “I know someone who might also enjoy you dressed up.” The idea of sharing love, felt just as important.

“Seeing the joy on your face and Viorel’s reaction will be thank you enough. Funny you should say that though, I actually decided to dress up today since it isn’t my usual style. I’ll have you take a look and see if I should try something else but I don’t know what you mean about someone enjoying it.” She answered with a light blush, denying that she was thinking of a certain red-haired man.

“Older woman like myself can see love in another’s heart whether or not they deny it to themselves,” Gemina teased with a giggle and a smile, “I would be delighted to see your outfit .”

Nilin sighed, giving in as there was no way to fool Gemina. She wasn’t like a mom to this group without reason. “I never know where I stand with those two. Foster and Harper are very different and yet, they aren’t. Foster just makes me smile and Harper challenges me which makes me feel bold but it is hard to tell where I stand. Foster makes it seem like our friendship could possibly grow into something more but Harper doesn’t seem fond with the idea as he tries to push me away or keep things the way they are. It is confusing…”

Gemina just smiles. Should she give the answer or wait for her to understand the answer herself? Gemina gives a slight giggle, “When it comes to matters of the heart, it’s best not to use one's’ head, but better to use one's’ soul. Viorel and I feel connected. I want these things because our souls feel entwined. Maybe I am selfish because he created me, maybe I am not destined to love him because I don’t entirely have a soul. Not one gifted to me by God, but one given to me by him. But my soul yearns and still feels this excited. To feel loved. It’s not confusing if you listen to yourself in earnest.”

Nilin didn’t answer, letting her words sink in and wonder if she felt that sense of connection that Gemina spoke of. What she felt when she saw them was a fluttering in her stomach, a race of her heart, a want to be close and if she was being truthful to herself, they were the two that had brain waves she couldn’t ignore even after all this time. Everyone else would just see one at a time but Nilin saw them and she wished sometimes she could hear what they thought. Was she over thinking things and just not letting things happen or not trying hard enough? “Thank you, Gemina. I will think on what you said and try to take your words to heart. Can I just say, I think Viorel and you were made for each other and no matter the circumstances. You are still you.”

“I’ll give you a small hint, Harper’s never tried to get close to anyone challenging them or not,” Gemina smiles. She sits up, “I’m excited for today. Because it means SYNBAD is finally more.”

“I am nervous about today. I don’t do so well in crowds but I have to say that I am glad that SYNBAD is being recognized by community. This could be a big step for all of us.” Nilin replied, trying to keep a positive. She did her last minute touches on Gemina’s makeup as she grinned before grabbing her mirror. “I think we are finished! What do you think?”

Quickly getting up like an eager schoolgirl she quickly grabs for the mirror to see Nilin’s masterpiece. Gray eyeshadow balanced well with the dresses tone, it made her feel like a model in those magazines. Her lips a natural rose pink, she touched her lips thinking about the kiss Viorel and her would share. Gemina turns around excitedly.

“I love it, I feel like a princess,” Gemina tells her, “Imagine Viorel coming down the stairs and grabbing my hand.” Gemina began to go into her fantasy land, so much so she grabbed Nilin’s hands and began to sway with her as if she and Viorel were in the same room, Nilin had disappeared for a brief moment in her mind, “Cal mai minunat.” she tells Nilin in Romanian, “Let me see your outfit. I want to repay you.”

She chuckled softly, grinning from ear to ear as Gemina started to sway and she less gracefully moved along with her as Nilin had no clue who to ballroom dance. She loved seeing how passionate Gemina was when it came to her husband. The Romanian statement of ‘most wonderful’ was completely lost on Nilin but she understood the last statement on what the other woman wanted. “If you insist!” She stated, cleaning up her supplies before heading back to her room so she could show Gemina the outfit she had decided to wear after many many attempts to get it right. She wanted today to be perfect or at least as close as it could get to that. “Here it is! Do you think it is good?” Nilin asked nervously, showing her the elements of the outfit all laid out on the bed.

Gemina gives out one of her girlish giggles and decides to probe Nilin with a tease, “It matches.” she mentions. Waiting to see Nilin’s reaction before dropping any more hints as to what she is alluding to.

Nilin raised an eyebrow, looking over her outfit a bit confused if matching was a good or a bad thing. “Well, isn’t it suppose to match?” she asked, now a little nervous on where this was going since she spent hours choosing every piece to make it perfect.

Gemina gives a small hint by grabbing her hair, “All

outfits are suppose to match. Color coordination and balance is what Viorel says. Just something I noticed is all.”

She could have almost sighed in relief at her words but instead just smiled back. “Can I ask you for a favor? I have no idea what I should do with my hair so I was wondering if you could style it for me?”

Gemina brushes Nilin’s hair off her shoulder, “Of course I can. I’d be honored it is the way I can repay for making me feel as if I were royalty.”

“We need to do things like this more often.” Nilin replied gently. “Maybe invite some of the other girl to join in the fun!” She added excitedly. If they weren’t on a time limit, she would probably start planning now and trying to convince the other girls that such a thing was a must. “I guess I should at least change into my outfit first so I don’t mess up all your work later.”

While Nilin began to dress Gemina began to rummage through Nilin’s kit, taking out a red ribbon, a brush, and an curling iron.

“It would be nice, perhaps it would relax Bridget,” Gemina tells her, “Are you ready, please sit down?”

She was just finishing up the last buckle on her shoe when Gemina asked if she was ready which she gave a small nod before sitting down. It had been so long since she could even remember anyone playing or styling her hair.”I wish she would open up but maybe she will warm up to all of us with some fun things like this.” She replied, Nilin’s eyes closing to enjoy the process. She felt her hair being softly brushed before hands would carefully gather her hair, working with skill and ease. She could hear the click of the curling iron as it opened, sections of hair being pushed away, a slight pull as it roll up and just a single moment of pause before the hair was released feeling almost lighter than before.

“One last touch,” Gemina said, grabbing the red ribbon she had found and tying into a fashionably cute bow, “There you go. Tell me what you think. Perhaps I should open up a salon?”

“Absolute perfection! Thank you so much, I love this hairstyle!” Nilin squealed happily, hugging Gemina. “If you open up a salon, you better bet I will be the first in line.”

“I think salons have schedule books,” Gemina told Nilin, “I am glad you liked it.” There a came a soft knock on the door. Though Nilin being the owner of the room Gemina waited for her to invite whom she knew it was in.

Nilin smiled, about to reply when a soft knock, if you could call it a knock announced that someone was at her door. “Please, come in!” She called, making sure not to yell but to be loud enough that the individual could hear her.

Slowly opening the door he was uncertain what he would be met with. Instead he was looking at Nilin in a red dressed with a red ribbon, her hair in a messy, bushy ponytail. Styled to be that way. While Gemina was braiding her hair sitting on the edge of the bed. She looked as iridescent as the day they met, always iridescent. It was hard not to face such beauty at times.

“You both look well coordinated,” Viorel complimented with a slight bow, “Nilin I am stealing Gemina away.” Gemina stands up quickly tying the end of her braid.

“Do you like my makeup this way?” she ask him, “I tried to be more dramatic and bold. Get out there more.” She was using slogans and language she had seen on the glittery pink feminine magazines she used for research purposes.

“I like you anyway, to me you are beautiful because you are. Anything you add is an enhancement to how you naturally glow,” Viorel tells her placing a hand on her cheek, “With that said I would like to show you off to as many people as I can. Forget about breakfast today, and we shall pop into a shop and get a nip to eat, I know a place with a good assortment of teas.”

She practically swooned, he wanted to show her off? Like she were a prized treasure no one could have. She had completely forgotten about breakfast, but this was starting to turn out really like a date.

“What about the children?” Gemina asked.

Viorel didn’t want to answer, but he looked at Nilin, “I get the feeling they are making pancakes. I’d like to tell you something though Nilin. Someone will want coffee with you.”

“Thank you for letting me know. I will be sure to be prepared before someone’s arrival. I will see you both at the parade and I hope you enjoy your time together.” she answered, giving a light bow of her head before watching them go, closing the door to her room when they were no longer in view. She hoped to have a love like that one day. You could tell how much those two adored each other with no words needed. Nilin took a glance at her phone, the screen lighting up to show her that the time had flown by when she was having a good time. It was time to finish up and then she could relax a little bit before the parade started as it was going to be a busy day from that point forward. Carefully, she pulled off her glasses before setting them on the dresser and took out her contact case. Using her hand mirror, Nilin gently popping one in each eye and blinked a few times to make sure they were in correctly. Once that was taken care of, she started work on her makeup by pulling out her bright metallic red eyeshadow and applying it to her lid before using a black eyeshadow to blend in at the edges. The next step was using eyeliner to help make the look a little more dramatic and inked in her waterline as well to really make her eyes stand out. It didn’t seem quite finished, even with the effort put in so she add a touch of eyeliner under her eye before busting out the gold glitter to highlight the corner of her under eye. A simple red lipstick was applied to pull the look together which made her feel pretty proud of herself. She felt powerful and beautiful which was what she needed to boost her confidence around the crowds she would soon face. Gemina had helped distract her from it but now, alone….that worry crawled back in along with new worries that seemed silly in comparison.

Deep breath….shake it off….

A nod to herself, she embraced the feeling of looking amazing and wouldn’t like anyone bring her down. Crowds or no crowds, she would roll with the punches and with that she flew her door open headed for the kitchen to at least say hello to everyone even though she would hold off on breakfast since she would be having a coffee date. Should she be calling it a date? That was a question she would put a pin in and revisit at a later point in time.

Age:
22

Alias:
Copycat

Tier:
Tier 1

Year Spent in SYNBAD:
2 Years

Appearance:

Straight jet black hair fell just below her shoulders, brushing up against the lightly tanned skin of her cheeks. Her delicate face framed by a pair of wire-rimmed glasses sitting at the bridge of her nose, that could not hide her almond-shaped chestnut colored eyes which seemed to give off a doe-like expression. A petite frame of 5’3 and a 120 pounds makes her appear fragile at first glance to most but if one wear to look closer they would see the lean muscle of her arms and toned legs.

She can mostly be found in sweaters or anything that is loose fitting that gives her a comfy feel. She does not mind showing a bit of skin but is usually reserved for tank tops and off the shoulder shirts. Jeans and leggings will always be her first choice but every now and then you could be blessed with seeing her in a dress though for her they are usually saved for special occasions.

Super Appearance:

Personality:
Nilin is the kind of person that always seems to be there when you need someone to lend you an ear or a shoulder to cry on. She is very loyal and protective of her friends and those she views as her makeshift family. She is soft-spoken and caring to those around her which would make most think she is not cut out to be a fighter but that image of her will change rather quickly if you get on her bad side. She is known for having a sharp tongue and will cut you down to size flawlessly if you are deserving of it.

Nilin can seem shy or nervous with crowds sometimes but she has her reasons for this. If you knew her on a personal level then you would find that she is fearless and is willingly spontaneous on the fly. She is happy to give her input freely and always open to change, rolling with the punches of life. She is very aware that she could be hurt and is very weak compared to most but she will not deny what she is and wants to make a difference.

Skills:
- Cooking/Baking - She grew up having to mostly care for herself and sometimes others which means cooking was a necessity to survive but she fell in love with the freedom. The creativity in trying something new even if the outcome came up in failure then maybe she could change something to make it better. It was like a stress relief that she could share with others to make them smile, have hope for a better day, or an easy way to say thank you. It still feels strange to have Gemina cook for the group and sometimes she still sneaks up out of bed early just to cook her own meals, not because she isn't grateful but the feeling of cooking and baking brings her joy. She can often be found in the kitchen while Gemina is cooking whether it is to help or give the woman some company. She wouldn't say she is anywhere close to a five-star chef of some fancy restaurant but she is still a wonderful cook if given the chance to try something she makes. She is not always confident in her skills.

- Painting - Painting is like a happy memory that she wishes to visit often. Each brush stroke reminder her of her mother's teachings and the fun times they shared together. She had shown her the passion for painting and a glimpse of the world through her eyes, that even if someone didn't understand a painting at first glance that the emotions you felt could still be conveyed. You could make the world a possibility for those that had never seen what you have or you could capture a thought of someone else by their face. You can be wild with just color and some random luck with say squirt guns filled with paint or a simple balloon. It is a spontaneous passion or it can let her place her emotions somewhere when she isn't sure where else to put them. It also is a way to keep her own memories alive when she thinks she might forget them.

- Singing - Her voice is mellifluous and smooth, drawing people in to want to hear more. She is not one to do so in front of others and can usually be found singing if she is in the shower or if something is stuck in her head while painting. Both are places she usually would think of as being alone or unheard. Humming is usually a different story as she can be found doing so during cooking or even cleaning which makes most beg to actually hear what her vocals could do.

- Sewing - Nilin has always been able to do small patch ups or hem an outfit in the past but in the last two years, she has dug into this skill to help it flourish as she had a new found inspiration. The first year in the group she worked hard to make her outfit piece by piece, trying to not only to improve her skills but to get it to match her vision. After everything was completed to perfection with her project, she started working on making outfits for Gemina so she could have something new and exciting without having to think about new fashion. She was happy to fix anything that she needed, taking great care with the clothing and even the clothing of the Knights with the permission of Viorel. She enjoys giving them the styles they prefer so they don't have to give up everything with the changing of time.

Hobbies:
- Camping - Nilin has spent many a time in the outdoors and finds it completely peaceful. A lot of people complain about dirt and sleeping on the hard ground but that is all part of the charm for her. She loves sitting around a fire to warm up and chat about anything that comes to mind. To look up at the stars and see all of them glowing like you would never be able to in the city. It brings people closer and makes you have to find more interesting ways to be entertained instead of just looking at a screen from who knows what electronic. It makes you appreciate the beauty around you that you may not be able to find much of anymore.

- Reading - She has always been fond of fantasy, mysteries and romance books. She will always have a few practical books such as cooking, art, and other such items but most of her bookshelves are filled with her favorite genres. It is not often that you don't find her with at least one book in her bag or reading at a table with a nice cup of tea or coffee.

- Gardening - She is not very good at gardening yet and is trying to learn by growing some produce and herbs for the house. She has been reading up on how to take care of each plant and has been pretty successful so far. Her fingers are crossed that she continues to do well and that maybe some of the others might enjoy it as well or wish to help grow more. If they didn't have to go shopping as much and could save a bit then it would be helpful.

- Video Games - She has a passion for many games from old to the new ones of today. She isn't completely picky on what to play but she enjoys a good plot and seems to be particularly good as shooting type games. She also seems to enjoy games that have a puzzle to figure out and that proves a challenge. It is more fun for her to have others to play against or with depending on the game. Heck, she doesn't even mind switch off on one player games after each death so she can have someone else's company.

Weapons:
- Metal Claws - While making her suit, she was semi-inspired by the Knights armor and made a metal shoulder armor to protect that side and use more for blocking if need be. It didn't seem complete with just the shoulder as a defense so she continued down the arm to make some nice moveable metal claws on one hand of her suit. This adds a little kick to her punches or she can use the claws which will give them a good scratch and do worse depending on where she can land a hit.

- Throwing Daggers - She can't do anything crazy like hitting a fly square on but she still has a pretty amazing aim. She could probably chuck a dagger at you and pin you to the wall without actually hitting you. It gets a little harder with a moving target so she is not 100% accurate and can, of course, miss what she is trying to hit. If the person is behind a box then there is nothing a dagger would do but out in the open, maybe she could hit their hand and make them drop a weapon or focus on the pain and attack.

- Nunchucks - In close quarter battles, she can be extremely lethal with this weapon. She knows where to hit that is painful, where to knock you out or worse. If you are not skilled in this weapon, you could easily hurt yourself instead of your opponent but this is not something she is worried about anymore. When training in karate, they were sure to teach you to be effective in this skill. She tucks this weapon in a special loop that is on the back of her belt.

- Fists - She thought she was a normal human most of her younger years which mean this was the style of weapon she was most use too. The daggers are her closest long range weapon and even that isn't too long of a distance. It might surprise most to how much defense and attack she can do with just her hands but sadly, she is more effective with normal humans unless someone is near her to lend some powers her way.

Equipment:
Most equipment belts are the equivalent to a fanny pack and while she doesn’t care too much about image, she has limits. Usually, she uses throwing daggers which are easy to place in her suit in various locations and also her nunchucks are tucked in a single loop in the back of her belt.

Fighting Style:
- Nunchaku - Combines offensive and defensive moves, so both locks and strikes. She usually wields it with one hand, but it can also be paired with other weapons if she chooses. Nilin whirls it around, using its hardened handles for blunt force, as well as wrapping its chain around an attacking weapon to immobilize or disarm an opponent. Nunchaku training has increased her hand speed, improve posture, self-restraint and conditioned her hands.

- Tai Chi Chuan While most think of this for medical benefits such as stress relief and doing something akin to yoga, it is also a slowed down graceful form of actual combat. Speed up the existing motions learned and they have a very real application for each move. Tai Chi Chuan's emphasis on the technique of yielding and attacking at the same time means there should be defensive and offensive intention in each movement so that the counterstrike will be quicker and will seize the opponent's weak area before they can recover. This combination involves every part of the body; thus she trained her whole body to be sensitive, nimble and flexible. This is different from most martial arts styles where offensive and defensive techniques occur separately.

- Gymnastics - Nilin uses this to flip away from enemies and to be able to jump over objects with more ease. It has helped train her upper body to be able to hold her body weight if she would need to be more stealthy. She can't know for sure but in her opinion, she has displayed more physical agility and coordination with the help of gymnastics.

Strength:
She is of average human strength perhaps slightly more but not to a New Breed standard. The only reason she says a bit more is that she has trained her body and kept herself in good shape. She has learned to use other peoples strengths against them in battle because she is still weak.

Endurance:
She is of average human endurance and knows the few tricks like many to keep running longer but eventually, she will tire out just like anyone else. It doesn't make her the best in a chase when she is on her own. It will be a matter of thinking ahead such as shortcuts.

Willpower:
This is probably the only instance where she is far beyond human limits. She will suffer if need be so that she can help someone else. In the face of danger and in tough times, she will still press on and try her best even when the situation is dim and she is close to that of a normal human. She will try to figure out the best solution to make a situation better or find a time to escape if possible.

Speed:
She is of normal speed in compared to humans. She isn't a slow runner by any means but she won't be in the Olympics or anything any time soon.

Reaction Speed:
Due to her training, she has great reaction speed and can often be found easily catching something in mid-air that is falling or blocking a hand that is coming at her. The way her attacks and skills work she has to be quick or it could mean trouble for her.

Name of Ability:
Telepathic Synchronization

Class:
Psychic

Character Theme:
It feels confusing to feel so ordinary when you are alone and then around others so extraordinary to suddenly feel completely different at the moment you are by their side. She could choose to walk away but then she would still know deep down that she was different with every brush of them walking by, feeling it grate against her senses and trying to ignore it or get away from the other person as soon as possible before she linked to them without control. Her brain waves syncing with their so that their powers would also become her own. It is so easy to block out what you are used to. It is like hearing a high pitched noise suddenly, at first, it is disorienting and you just want to cover your ears to make it stop but if you just wait long enough, you can adjust and maybe even tune out the sound completely with enough practice.

Ability Capabilities:
Mimicry, by synchronizing her brain waves with those around her, she can mimic their abilities and her body adjusts to contain them.

Qualities of Ability:
- Brain Wave Signature - Nilin can automatically sense a New Breed as her powers try to synchronize with the individual without her control. It is one of the reasons she does not like crowds and will try to avoid interviews as much as possible because she is not sure what the outcome will be should a New Breed be around. New powers are just that, completely new and uncontrollable to her. If she is around a certain signature long enough, she can learn to ignore the brainwave signatures around her but this takes at least a month or more to do. With focus and training, she will be able to control when she synchronizes or not. It does come in handy to know who is who without looking.

- Telepathic Mimicry - Nilin syncronizes her brain waves with that of another via a telepathic link and once they are connected, she mimics the powers they possess and they become her own. It isn't to say that she can perfectly control this power the first time as it is like having a new power spring up that you don't know the limits too. She could easy wear herself out or overdo it without realizing. If she trains and works at the powers, then she could be more fluent at it eventually.

- Physical Reconstruction - On a physical level, Nilin's body adjusts and changes so she can house the powers she receives. You can't spit acid without your body being ready for such an action after all. This is not really a pleasant experience but one she must endure if she wants to use someone else's powers. It would be like growing suddenly and causes aching if not worse depending on the changes that must be made.

Strengths of Ability:
- Original Strength - When Nilin copies the powers of another, she gains all of the strengths they have when using their powers.

- Tier Boost - Her power level boosts to the same tier as the person she is copying and might be a little than the original if she is still trying to learn the power.

- Sensing - Due to her syncronizing with brain waves, she can sense who is near her if she remembers what the person's brain wave feels like or looks like. It helps her see in a crowd and be able to tell you who is a New Breed.

Weaknesses of Ability:
- Original Weakness - While she gains all the strengths of the power she is using, she also takes all the weaknesses of that power as well. There is no picking or choosing what to copy as it is an all package deal.

- Mental Blocks - Her powers will not work on someone who can shield their minds or block her from their thoughts. If she can't synchronize then she cannot mimic their powers. This makes her weak against people with mental capabilities.

- Reconstruction - Physical Reconstruction can be extremely painful in some cases and she has to work through the pain. It is complete willpower that helps her through this. It helps having the powers linked before going into battle but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. It can make her a little weaker though if the pain is too much and less able to do certain moves.

- Alone - If Nilin does not have another New Breed around her then she is by all definition, completely human. Yes, she is trained but even that will only get her so far. She has to tag team with someone else which means she is very vulnerable without them. If she slips up and gets too far away then this could be a dangerous outcome for her.

Limitations of Ability:
- Range - Nilin has to stay within a certain range of the person she is linked to or she will lose all the powers that she is copying. This range can get a little broader with trying but there will always be a limit she cannot pass.

- Multiple Mimicry - She cannot copy the powers of more than one person at once. If she needed another power, she would have to desynchronize with the person she was linked to so she could synchronize with another. This all takes a good amount of time to do.

- Powered Items - She cannot copy the powers of someone that has gained their powers from an item. If they do not have natural powers or powers that were permanatly granted then she cannot copy them. She needs a mental connection and an item does not make that possible.

- Control - She does not have perfect control of powers gained. She actually has to work hard and train to get better at the powers so that she can understand how they work and what to avoid doing. She actually has to lean on the other person to advise her.

- I love the smell of possiblity in the morning.

- In a world where you can be anything, be kind

Reputation:
She has a very split reaction from the community.

Half think that she is too fragile and sweet to be hanging around such dangerous situations. That with her only copying powers that she is more like a mascot or that they should let other more normal people in the group because why not? Is she mostly human and barely different, right?

While the other half are excited to see someone who has the same powers as the others. It is like taking your favorite New Breed hero or idol and timing them by two. It is interesting to see what someone else would do with the powers of someone else.

Theme Song:

@AngelofOctober

I do so swear to stay loyal to this RP and never leave it. I promise to fight and keep this alive. You have my word that I am completely committed to this RP to the best of my abilities. The only reason I will be away from this RP is when I have no choice but to be away in whatever life situation that may happen. This will never ever happen without communication happening first to let my fellow members and GM know so everyone knows what is going on unless I have been put into a comma or something literally makes it so I can’t type quick words which I hope will never be the case.
