I admit I was slightly hesitant to post here, mainly because I thought this was only for you and your friends. It wasn't until Tsukune told me about you briefly that I took the jump. XD

Located in a small town within the state of Ohio, Olympus Academy purpose is to guide and protect the Demigods - children of the Greek Gods and Goddesses. It does that by teaching and helping these teens and young adults to know their gifts bestowed upon them by their parents as well as teaching them how to use them properly. Not only do the professors train them to increase the potency of their powers, they also bestow knowledge of the martial arts and history on their parnts so that, when they leave, they will be well-rounded warriors. It is so that, when they leave, they will be able to defend themselves from any foe that tries to come after them as well as understand why.
The campus of Olympus Academy is large. It not houses a University-size campus, but it also houses several hundred Demigods with a few apartment buildings, several different gallerias that have shops and stores alike. There are hangouts such as Gyms, Cafes, Restaurants, music stores, book stores - pretty much anything one could think of that a teenager or young adult would want, the academy has it. Even as impressive at it is, that is not the largest thing within Olympus Academy. Surrounding its entirety is a vast forest that houses some of the most dangerous creatures - mythological or otherwise. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the entire campus(forest included) is surrounded by such a powerful barrier that, the only ones with the knowledge to get past it are the staff and a few choice students(more if they are up to no good). Like, there are ways to get past it, but those are against the rules.
As most of the students consist of teenagers (15-19) and young adults(20-24), it should stand to reason that the classes of the class are divided into two parts: Demigod Studies and Normal Studies. Within the Demigod Studies, there are the following classes: Power Usage and Control, Greek Mythology, Battle Strategy, and Physical Training. On the normal side of things, there are a vast variety of subject; here are a few examples: English, Math, Sciences, PE, Electives(Art, Music, ectect), History(American, World, and Economics), PE(and a step up, Weight Training).
Despite it being a school for the Demigods, Olympus Academy has all the drama that is in any other high school. With every single Demigod having one parent who has probably wronged - or been wronged - by more than one god or goddess, there is bound to be a whole bunch of confrontations. With teenagers and young adults being the main source of the attendence, it’s not out of the question to see violence, drugs, and probably the most common thing, alcohol. The staff aren’t prone to the drama either. They are, after all, adults themselves - and all adults need some kind of drama in their life, even if they should set an example for the students.

First off, I would like to thank those of you who have decided to check out the RP. This is not going to be a first-come, first-serve roleplay, so please note that there will no “May I reserve a slot?” This RP is of High Casual standards. As such, I expect at least two paragraphs of non-dialogue. If you feel that you cannot meet these standards, then I am sorry to be the one to tell you then, but this roleplay might not be for you. The roleplay will be character-driven. There is plot, but for the most part, we got a character-driven format.
Despite it’s obvious ties to the Percy Jackson series, this has no ties to its universe or its canon. It is simply a RP about the children of the Greek Gods and Goddesses. You may mention the Half-Blood series in its book form, but aside that, it has no ties to our canon. Speaking of the Greek Gods and Goddesses, only the original ones. So, that means no made-up ones. Sorry.
