Zestasia must have fought off about five birds, all of whom had chipped off some bits of his jacket and the flesh of his forearms and fists. Despite this, however, it had proven to be a successful endeavor. This was because of the pure and simple fact that Pagonia had done exactly what Zes instructed him to do. Once the coast was clear and a satisfying amount of the giant birds had gotten their beaks clocked by the almighty fist of Zestasia, he, like his brother had done before him (and the others before that), made a run for it. 

As the scary blonde lady had flat out ordered them to do, the Calore Brothers worked on getting those who couldn't defend themselves down to teh cabins. One by one, they were escorted to safety. When it was apparent to Zestasia that most, if not all, were down below, as the morally-white man that Anatoli had trained/raised him to be, Zestasia flew back up to the upper decks by slinging onto the ledge. As he knelt on the railing, he saw a bird come his way. He pushed off the rail, raising his entire arm up below the beak of the incoming bird fiend. It connected at such a degree that it caused the bird to spiral into the forest, seemingly crashing into a tree or two.

As Zestasia was out and about, he rejoined the others to hopefully help them in this never-ending onslaught of the Giant Bird Army. It was then, as his body landed nearby he heard a voice from someone who had spoken to him once before. "Hey-hey! you..uh, I don't know your name, but you're that one chick, right?" Zestasia was really bad with names. Honestly, he wasn't sure if she ever gave his name. Regardless, she asked the all-too-important question that must be answered at all costs. "Doing what we can to save the day! As a Calore, I cannot stand idly by while others are in danger of dying. Plus, this is just so fun, isn't it?" Zestasia weirdly has a smile on his face. "Oi! Behind you, Little Red!" Zestasia jumped over her tiny body, making a direct contact with a bird with several fists, thus sending it to its doom into a few others. "You otta be more careful, missy."
