I'm aware that's what you meant. Maybe I could've worded it better (and left out the multiple mentions in post) but what I meant to say, is that there's not that many characters that have this going for them. If like, everyone save for 2 people had split personalities/clones and other shenanigans, then sure, but keeping in mind timeskips and the actual number of characters... seems pointless.

Also, I'm starting to feel like In-Universe we need some sort of diagram or spreadsheet explaining all the different personalities/clones/body swaps/mind controls at work in the group just so nobody gets confused and calls someone the wrong name by accident during lunch. Possibly one drawn up in a collab or something.

Seems like it's needlessly complicating things. Names are frequently written in posts, and currently it only seems like Darkrecon is doing something special with their names.

EDIT: Oh and uh, ditto on the whole 'thing to post about' front. All I could do is have Devors fall back, but I feel it'd be kinda throwaway.

Well... to be blunt with you? I need more of everything. I need a more clear indication of the time, more possible locations, more events to react to, ...

I don't know, it's just that I feel there's very little to do other than just say "Mhm, yes, that happened" in response to Kaiba's announcement. The only other thing to do, created by Pleek, has already been taken and reacting to that would be redundant. A bit more variety to place our characters, I guess.

Lemme call out one member in particular. @Satoshi Kyou.

Now, I'm kinda friends with the guy and I've been friends with 'im for a while now. All stems from when I offered to help him fix up his posts. The dude isn't the greatest writer in the world and he knows it, but damnit he tries. He's constantly engaged in anything he joins and isn't afraid to ask questions even if they seemed dumb in hindsight, is super dedicated to anything he joins and always willing to try out new things. He's not only great to have as a player, but he's genuinely one of the nicest people I know. Dude's got a big, dumb heart and that's a good thing.

In Defense Of The Genre [Part II]

I've been lurking this thread for a while now, and I don't have a whole lot to say that hasn't already been said, but I do have a small bit.

Aside from the "y'all need a chill pill" thoughts I'm having, the one thing I want to say is that, for the most part, I think the mod team has been doing their job fine enough. I'm not here to defend them, but they do seem to be getting absolutely hammered over here. Speaking as a member who doesn't chat and confines himself to mostly my own RPs and the bitchin' thread, all I've seen is them doing their job as they should without any major screwups. Iunno any of the banned individuals personally, but you'd have to fuck up pretty majorly on multiple accounts to get to that state. It's not as if I've seen anyone go mad with power and go on a banning spree of everyone who's face they didn't like.

So far I've seen mods hide posts when asked to, help out when I've asked questions and nuked spambots. Pretty average stuff. The only thing I'd like to really see that was brought up in this thread is more transparency, because that's always a good thing... or the "Freeze account" thing Sherlock mentioned. I think it'd at least calm down the people upset with the direction the site is going in and be a quality of life improvement over all.

...but seriously people, stop jumping down each other's throats and slandering individuals. That ain't good for nobody.
