@Sketcher Normal students, however you'll be able to attend different courses which determine what track you want to be for graduation. Combat, adjustment, or teaching. Adjustment being the most common for students to start in, basically it's more about control and helping student move into the civilian world somewhat. However it's the toughest to graduate as you need to show complete mastery and control over your powers.

@ChickenTeriyaki The world summon's come from don't support human life. Some might have a human like appearance and tendencies but they do not share much of our needs. They actually have to return to their world when tired to gain energy, only Dark class summons can survive on our world due to natural regeneration talents. On average a summon can spend maybe two weeks in our world before it needs to return for a few hours to it's own realm and usually does this while it's summoner is sleeping.

Basically unless she was her own summoner and could move to either dimension or at least a pocket dimension like the stones generate for them.

If I'm being rather obtuse on the subject it's because most of the details about the world are the other side of Rift's is unknown to the general public.

Edward Seraph

Name: Edward 'Edge' Seraph


"You gonna fight me? I'll warn you, I don't pull any punches and I can take quiet a few."
Age: 15

Personality: Captain of the schools discipline squad, Edward is sharp minded and cunning. He plays politics among the upper class man ever though he is youngest member of the school council. Quick witted and sharp tongued, he's not the most friend person but it hides a rather caring and good individual who has simply seen to much violence to survive unchanged. Often tries to hide how he feels behind a stone cold demeanor and distant attitude yet in truth he only wants to keep others safe, even from themselves.

Abilities: A talented fencer, as a child his love of sword play grew from sticks to sabers quickly, after he received his summon he traded it out for a proper sword. Classical trained cellist though he rarely ever lets anyone hear him play finding it embarrassing. His most useful skill cooking, spending years along he often took time to learn to recreate dishes from home now he cooks in styles from all around the world.

Powers:
Void Shield- Light
Angel's Inspiration- A aura of uplifting and soothing energy fills the area. Making it hard for enemies to focus while allies find themselves inspired to fight harder.
Heaven's Mandate- Summoning a beautiful ornate enchanted long sword, Edward can hold his own against summoned opponents.
Dreadnought Armor- A massive shell of gold and silver armor that covered the wearer, with little weight it allows Edward to duel a summon and take hits without the use of his void shield. The armor however can be broken with enough force and takes an hour before it can be called on again. While light and incredibly strong it limits sight as such he depends on Auriel for assistance while wearing it.

History: Edward is was born during the early days of the summoning war, as Rift's opened in South America and even into North America as the years went on his parents began to worry. His mother first chair Cellist in the New York city orchestra and father an NYPD detective decided to move to one of the only places yet to experience heavy Rift activity Australia.

With his mother and father finding work in Sydney years went on and the warn began to be one. People relaxed and life in Sydney even became a kind of normal, with his mother finally attaining her dream she would play the Sydney Opera house the night before her sons birthday. However he had a fencing match that night and couldn't attend the concert that night, it saved his life.

In the middle of Opera house, a rift opened the building exploded as a dragon ripped through it unleashing a storm of fire. With all the chaos and panic the lone boy was forgotten, he rushed towards the Opera house fighting through the streets. Praying for his parents to be alive when he arrived, instead he found only rubble. Not a single piece of the once beautiful building was left standing, charred corpses were all that remained.

Yet in the fire, the pain, and stench of death he heard a comforting whisper. He followed it, thinking it might be his mother stumbling along his legs numb from running he collapsed beside a strange stone. He touched it wiping away the blast marks, he did not notice the stray Hellhound stalking him. He slowly spoke the words, just before he turned as the Hellhound cross the burning ruins to tear out his throat.

Edward swung his hand feebly shutting his eyes, then felt something warm and wet on him. Blood, there standing beside him was an angel in a golden dress, yet she had not killed the hound. It was him, looking at the sword gripped in his hand he turned to the angel who knelt and began to clean the blood from him. She did not speak, yet they both knew in that moment they were friends for life, the gifts of an angel changed him. His held a golden glow, his hair the color of silver.

He was a Summoner and he was never going to lose again.

Auriel

Name: Auriel



Summoning Mantra: "I am wrath. I am steel. I am the mercy of angels."

Abilities: Auriel fights just like Edward, depending on armor and her enchant over spells and tricks. She fights fairly and honorably however she is faster than her summoner and with her wings she may swap to a bow and rain death from above a ground based target.

Element: Light

Element gift: Auriel allows the summoning of a shield for Edge's off hand weapon, stronger than his armor this kite shield needs to face the enemy to turn a blow.

About: Forceful, while she is an angel Auriel is NOT a pacifist or for that matter opposed to violence period. Cheerful and loud, Auriel has never seen our world before and loves everything about it, often forcing Edward in strange situations. Optimistic, Auriel believes in good will and justice, she can't help but see the world as something pure and clean.
