Current It's been three years since we lost Polymorpheus, a dear friend. It's felt like a lot longer, that time. I still think about Poly every so often, and how I miss them so very much. I won't forget them.

Bio

uhhhh, hi there

I am here and I sorta exist so yes this is my ‘bio’ and it will probably be rather brief and suck and be sloppy, just like me.
So, without further ado..

stuff about me

Most people call me Barti or Bart as well as a few other things since it’s just easier or meaner than the actual thing - I invite you to do so as well.

I’m a 23-year-old (bday June 20th!) Texan who enjoys thunderstorms and rain far too much, and likes anime, running, metal music, and copious amounts of DRUGS candy, among many other cool things - like DnD and MTG.

I enjoy group rps as well as 1x1s. For groups I have what I think is a decent array of interests, most of it being profusely weeb-y. I like Fantasystuffs (Modern especially), supernatural themes, pretty much all Japanese stuff - including historically accurate settings - as well as general dark/grim themes, comedic slice of life trash, academy rps, unique plots, etc. etc. As for 1x1s I pretty much do romance, but I can do non-romantic stuff too if you give me something to work with xP
The only genre I find myself not entirely comfortable with is really sci-fi stuff, but, if the plot/idea catches me enough it can hold my interest. Oh, and my writing level is high casual to low advanced.

I’m a sarcastic, snarky, bipolar-depressed, degenerate garbage can, but generally people seem to like me (I don’t know why in the hot hell you would) - but if you would also like to be my friendo lemme know.
I don’t bite.
Usually owo xd rawr

welppp...I guess that’s okay for now
thanks for reading, you potatoes

@Double I just said that cuz he’s a pretty old dude so I’m like “he knows a lot of stuff” lol. But when I think about it, he’d still never have left Earth. So yeah, I’ll probably edit that part out. Thank ^^
@Double How's that? ^^ Feel free to point out any issues.
Saudagrimm - East City

Color = Firebrick

"Master, I sense many power levels. They all seem the same."

"Follow me then, boys." The older man ordered as he flew off towards the city.

The two younger fighters flew after their master, trying to keep up with him as he traveled at a not-so-casual pace.

"Who do you think it is, Saudish?" Raijin inquiried as they flew side-by-side.

"How would I know that, Raijin?" Saud said, before thinking for a moment. "But it does seem peculiar. We've never had multiple individuals of the same power level arrive at the city en masse like this." The curiosity was visible on his face. "Seems to have Sensei worried."

"That is does."

As they drew towards the city, the boys caught up with their master who was now hovering over the streets, above the buildings.

The destruction was clearly visible. Buildings obliterated, flaming cars, explosions.

"No...what...why?!" Raijin asked nobody in particular, shock clearly visible in his voice and on his face.

"Master...what-"

"I don't know."

Raijin raised his head. "The ones who did this are still here. They will pay for destroying it!" he shouted through gritted teeth, before he rocketed towards the power levels that were towards the innards of the city.

"Raijin, stop!" Their master shouted as he flew off after the man, Saudagrimm in tow. "He's going to get himself killed by whoever did this. He knows he doesn't spar well when angry!"

Saud surpassed his master, using his stored energy to increase his speed.

Flying around a skyscraper, he saw his training companion flying straight towards little dots in the distant sky that appeared to be the signals. He began to close the distance between him and his friend. As they drew closer, they saw that the apparent assailants were a group of short, green skinned individuals - who were seemingly chasing after another person, whom was flying away.

Saud could feel Raijin building up energy until he saw a bright blue beam shoot out of his friend's outstretched arm, the attack soaring right towards the back of the group. However, it seemed they sensed it as well - each Saibaman dodging to the side easily, and the beam flying over the head of the one they were chasing. Then one of them split off from the group, flying towards Raijin while baring its teeth. As it began though, it was forced to dodge another array of Ki blasts produced from somewhere down below, before setting its gaze on Raijin again.

The two of them flew straight towards each other, staring at one another with mutual animosity. Raijin drew back his fist into a hate-filled hay-maker - however the opponent was much too quick for it. It easily moved to the side, planted its own fist into his face before slashing across his shoulder with his claws, and finally delivering a kick to his chest. His opponent was sent sprawling through the air.

Much to any bystander's horror, the little green beast's head then began to squelch and split open, releasing a stream of acid to shoot through the air at the human.

However, the acid spray flew through empty space.

A couple yards away Raijin was recovering from the attacks, as well as the aerial tackle Saud had just given him.

"Calm down. You almost got yourself killed." he said, frowning at his roughed-up companion.

"Hff. Hff.." Raijin breathed heavily, both out of physical exertion as well as emotional. "..alright." he responded, seemingly having cooled down at least visibly. "Help me make sure this thing doesn't hurt any more of our neighbors, huh?" The human said through a half-growl. It didn't sound like a question either.

The two fighters assembled themselves and flew to confront the Saibaman frontally, hovering a few yards away from it.

"Be careful." They heard from their master, "This creature is known as a Saibamen. They are willing to kill regardless of their own well-being. You can defeat it together if you exercise caution." And with that, the white-haired man flew downward into the city's chaos - presumably to attempt helping civilians in trouble.

The Human and the Yektishian wasted no time engaging it. Without words they flew at it from opposite angles; left and right. The beast waited until they got close, before rocketing off backwards while spraying a barrage of yellow energy blasts at the duo. Saud had anticipated an attack, as it was quite obvious. He moved quickly enough between the blasts to avoid them. Raijin was struck by two of them out of about eight, but fortunately they were not very strong.

He's out of touch with his training. Saud thought. "Raijin, you need to calm down, or you will get both of us hurt."

Unfortunately their opponent was tired of waiting for their dialogue.

The Saibaman appeared in front of Raijin, striking him in the gut before kicking him in the face, then releasing a blast of Ki into his chest. "Uhmf-" Was the only sound his opponent made as he started to fall downwards from the quick assault.

Saud took this opportunity to strike as the little green devil, touching his forehead before striking out at it. However, it was fast - fast enough to grab the Yektishian's arm while still blasting his ally away. Fortunately, the Saud it grabbed was a copy. It soon felt a small force hit it in the back, before its vision went completely white, and it found itself unable to move. Saudagrimm then struck the creature over its head with a Double Axe Handle, sending it spiraling downwards, into where his human friend was just now recovering from their opponent's blows.

Raijin sent both his joined fists into the Saibaman's stomach in return, before releasing a Ki blast into it, sending it upwards once again - as if the two earth-dwellers were playing tennis with the creature. Raijin fired another blast, but his opponent was quick to recover. The Saibaman deflected the blast with its bare arm, spiking it back into Raijin's face before it fired its own barrage of Ki blasts at the human, sending him plummeting into the concrete far below.

It sprung up into the air suddenly, appearing in front of the quickly approaching Saudagrimm and delivering a charged punch of Ki energy into his gut, before the taller alien leaped back to avoid further attacks.

It's too strong... he thought, as he felt the power level of his friend below draining.

He soon felt a warmth spreading over his back, seemingly seeping into his body. He looked behind him, and Master Tymui was flying some yards away with a civilian under his arm, and nodded at him; a bright, thin beam traveling from his index finger into the back of his disciple. He was feeding the student Ki.

In the few years Saudagrimm had spent on Earth, he'd never seen his sensei truly fight. He didn't know if it was because of his age or because he'd done so enough "in his time" as he said, but he never doubted his master's power. And he was always perplexed when the old man insisted that Saud was almost as powerful as himself, or perhaps even moreso, as the geezer usually repelled his attacks and techniques with relative ease.

So why was he feeding him energy? Saudagrimm didn't always understand the elder's train of thought - but he trusted him more than anyone. And so he would now.

He took his stance across from the little green man, glaring at it intensely. Those nearby would be able to sense his power level slowly rise, substantially even, as he stared down his opponent. "Surrender, or I will kill you."
Saudagrimm - East City

Like many other things Saudagrimm had come to discover since arriving on planet Earth, his opinion on the inhabitants were quite mixed. Especially one little one that regularly got on his nerves. Right at this very moment, even.

"YIP! YIP! YIP!"

The sound of tin tearing preceded the alien's attempt to calm the small, scruffy dog. "Sit still, Toshi." he asserted as he held out his free hand flatly towards the animal, his voice stern as his Sensei had taught him.

Toshi tilted his head, before letting out a series of more barks - earning a sigh from Saud. He emptied the can he held into a bowl, or rather on top of it; the pile of food was towering over the brim of the dish.

He set the bowl down for Toshi to start his meal, before wandering out of the kitchen, in search of his Sensei.

Living room? Nope. Bedroom? Nope.

It wasn't irregular for him to check a few rooms before finally finding his Sensei's location, despite the small footprint of the home - the old man was the best he'd ever met at concealing his Ki.

The only place left was the garden. A moment before his hand reached the handle, the thin door slid open.

"Good morning, Young Dajin." a voice greeted, almost instantly.

Saudagrimm shifted to the side before bowing lightly, "Good morning, Sensei." His brow furrowed at the use of the nickname. He knew the old man was aware of the fact that he didn't like nicknames, but he teased him with it anyway. The alien could've sworn there was a faint grin as he passed by his pupil.

Saud followed him down the hall. "Master Tymui, do you have any plans for training today?"

There was a pause as they entered the kitchen, the older man looking down at Toshi, who was lying belly-up on the floor next to his empty bowl, seeming quite satisfied.

"You over-fed him, again." he said as he approached the cupboard and started rummaging through it.

"O-oh...uh..Sor-" Saud began, before a box of dry noodles pegged him in the back of the head, as he had turned towards the TV in the living room. "-ow..." he stooped to pick them up, tossing them on the counter.

"And, yes. I plan on training with Raijin later." the old master responded. "..Why? You want some more training?" he said, his eyebrow raised as he peeked out from inside the cupboard, his tone clearly amused. "You could barely stand two nights ago."

Saud looked at his Sensei with crossed arms. "I recover fast." he said matter-of-factly, with the faintest hint of a smirk on his lips.

"Oh, I know. Which is why I think it could do you some good to spar with someone more your speed. Hmmm...Raijin, perhaps?" he offered as his liver spotted hands gathered the tools necessary to create his semi-famous Ramen.

"Um, well I uh- I don't think-"

Ding, Dong, Ding.

"Great! It's settled then. You and Raijin will have a great time; I'm sure of it." Tymui said with a devilish grin peaking out of his long, white beard.

Saud groaned as he went to the door and opened it. "Hello-"

"Greetings, Saudish." Came a strong, but sly voice.

"-Raijin..."

Saudagrimm -&- Raijin

"Alright, gentlemen. I want a good, clean fight."

Now they stood in an open field. A large clearing with light grass, surrounded by a thin line of trees. Saudagrimm and Raijin stood opposite one another, about twenty feet apart. Master Tymui sat probably ten yards off to the side, resting comfortably in a lawn chair topped with an umbrella, while chowing down on a bowl of noodles.

Being that they didn't want to damage anything, the three had to walk a ways off from the edge of town, where the master and Saudagrimm resided. Here, they wouldn't have to worry about collateral.

"When I say go, you will go. Got it?"

"Yes Sensei."

"Yes, Master."

"Alright then! 5...4...3.."

Saudagrimm found himself somewhat concerned for the outcome of his fight with Raijin. They'd fought only a couple of times before, but it had never been one-on-one. Only when their Master had held sort of "Training games" with multiple of his pupils had they opposed each other. And when they had, the alien learned the Raijin was fast. Really fast. Despite being slight bulkier than Saud. Normally in those games, Saudagrimm was ahead of almost everyone else who attended - but Raijin was always a whisker-width away.

"GO!"

Neither of them moved.

They stared at each other, watching every muscle for a sign of a twitch.

Saud sensed him move before he saw it. He raised both his arms to each side in order to block what he could, and fortunately caught Raijin's shin on his forearm, preventing a kick aimed at his ribs.

"Impressive, Sau-" the human was swiftly interrupted by Saud's arm turning to grasp his leg and slam his opponent's body into the ground. "-ack!"

Then Raijin was gone. Saud had felt no resistance from his grasp, one moment his opponent was on the ground, the next - vanished. Soon enough though, he felt a limb strike him in the back and send him sprawling forward. He rolled into the dirt and ended in a crouched position, looking up to see Raijin dusting his hands with a smirk.

"You got lucky, but it won't happen again." his muscles tensed as his opponent stood, before he appeared in Saud's face again.

He threw a barrage of punches at Saud's stomach and face regions, trying to throw them in unpredictable patterns, and at great speed.

Saud reacted as fast as he could, trying to block the punches at quickly as his brain allowed - but Raijin was a good deal faster than him, and punches got through every fourth strike or so.

A jab hit him straight to the jaw and he staggered, earning him a forearm to the side of the head. He went stumbling, Raijin closing the short distance again to attack, but one of Saud's arms shot out at his opponent, even outside of his peripheral vision. Two of his fingers jabbed Raijin in the chest and the human stiffened immediately, letting out a yelp.

Saud faced him and attacked his opponent with a combo of three jabs, two to the stomach and one to the face, sending him sprawling into the dirt.

Raijin groaned after a moment, his vision returned. "What some say is true...your punch is that of a dozen.." he breathed as he licked blood off his lip.

What he said wasn't far off. Being that Saudagrimm focused much more on being defensive, performing many quick attacks against his opponent wasn't something he could really fit into his style. So he substituted. Each attack used more Ki than one would think, and hit much harder than a standard practitioner's punch - but he made a lot less of them; so the Ki usage about evened out.

Saud looked at him with the same calculating expression he normally had - regardless of how excited he was on the inside. He was holding well, it seemed.

He remained in place as his opponent regained his stance, Raijin tensing his muscles to charge again.

"Wait."

Saud jumped out of his skin, almost. Master Tymui was standing right next to him.

"Master? What is it? Did I do something-"

"Listen!"

There was a long pause, where both Saudagrimm and Raijin reached out to feel the world around them.

There.

They all turned towards the same direction.

"There's someone coming towards us. Quickly." Their master warned, a furrowed brow showing his curiosity.
