Critical Role? More like Crunchical Hole, haha. But yes, it's pretty uh... well, the Mercer Effect exists for the same reason people think porn is an accurate depiction of sex.

Hello, I am me from the internet. I migrated here from Kongregate's Forum Games Forum, so feel free to look for me there if you wish to follow a career in internet stalking people. (ಠ_ಠ) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Infamous Quotes From People Who Exist

“I really don’t follow how your faith believes its perfectly acceptable to doom 4,000 years plus of sentient beings, on a pre-set path of no escape from sin, just so their descendants can be offered the ‘chance of salvation’ when the god murders its own son.”
~vikaTae

“Don’t be an ass or a pussy, ’lest you get screwed by life. Being a mouth or a hand is somewhat safer, and an eye socket is pretty much sacred in this regard, so always keep a look out.”

Dirk Messir - Top Tier Sad

It hadn't occurred to Dirk at the time that Bonesword had issues with being tossed. Dirk is trying to help, after all. Help is good. But, after they talked to the new fellows who would now follow them, and Krank had a cool appearance and nice personality, he then gets reprimanded later, when they left. He. He doesn't like to be thrown. But. Then. How.

Oh no, looks like you're gonna get your ass kicked. You deserve it, you low-life trash.

Dirk has a mild fit about it, and does the apologisation profusely to Bonesword. He doesn't want to upset a better person. He likes not making his friends sad, and liked not making his superiors angry. He kept continuing to apologise anyway, though, instead of striking about the bush whilst there were strikes happened. Apparently, he would have to sleep in barrels.

They'll be full of spikes Jerk! Or oil that's been set on fire Failure!

He'd slept in less conditions than a barrel. It was fine. But he didn't want to make Boneking sad again, so he prome you, as a lover and a freind, I will looooooove you. In an appropriate way though. Which means not bonethrowing the boneman. He had his own bones to toss.

Anyway, they were going to the location now, and he went there with on the steers the ship, Which he had fine with because it was the time when he got to be talked to himself about being the coolest guy. The Divine Purposes guided his way. And then he went to the right location, and it had cannons. Hell yeah, cannons with arms. HELL YEAH, CANNONS WITH ARMS.

Hell Yeah, Cannons With Arms!

That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen, and you are stupid for liking it.

Yeah but shut up Derek, cannons with arms!

Anyway, they reached an island, and it was an island with cannons with arms, probably, and they'll be on a fortress. So that will be cool. He was also going to offer Boneswig hugs for avoid sad times again later, he hoped. But Captain Cedric needed him to steer right now, and the Divine Purpose agreed, so that was is will that is it, that's the whole scenario, this is the spot. The top spot. He'll go there.
A post is finally made. My apologies for it taking so long; that said, I think we still need @jbeil and @Kratesis to make their posts, so I'll eagerly await their input on the situation.
Admittedly, Alexa was mildly disappointed about the Inquisitor's absence, but she nonetheless remained uplifted by the presence of a Celestian. In Sister Victorine's capable hands, she knew in her heart, they would be just fine.

The next few days were, bluntly speaking, not as eventful as one would imagine. This was a good thing, considering that eventful Warp travel often left people dead, even if they were warriors of the Adepta Sororitas. As before, Alexa spent her time praying, talking to her fellows, and assisting in the medical ward where necessary. As it happened, the alarm was raised at about the time Alexa was reaffirming her faith in the Emperor once again, praying silently at her personal shrine, albeit in her standard robes rather than nudified as some of her Sisters might; quickly reassessing her priorities at Celestian Victorine's bellow, she donned her armour and readied her equipment as rapidly as possible, concluding with the chirurgeon's tool glove on one hand and the armour's helm upon her head, before rushing out to meet with her fellows that they might quell this threat as rapidly as possible.

It didn't take long for the squad to gather and form up at Sister Victorine's order - sans, she couldn't help but notice, the new Crusader of the group. As she recalled, the Crusader had his quarters in the ship located further from those of the Sisters, and right on cue, a radio transmission confirmed that he was in combat with the raiders themselves. Bold of him - and perhaps what would make the difference between success and destruction this day. If he fell, he would fall knowing that his death was not in vain, though Alexa had no intention of letting him perish if he was injured before their arrival at his location, and was in fact unusually eager to start making her move in the right direction. They had an ally to assist, after all.
Dirk Messir - Not Mushroom

'I'll keep to MY own self,' I declare, 'when YOUR self has self indulge selves. And then there'll people get will bitten. I tried to help,' he said slowly. Some people just won't get any smart ideas.

Like you. You lack smart ideas.

That's right Stupid! You're a moron Retard! Nobody likes you Dumbass!

'Hneeeeeeeeeh.' That was partly due to sadness, also but also but partly there was also a powersmell. Like drinking, but less good. Blarg. No, bad alcohol. No, he should. Yes, that's a good idea. Divine Purpose Agrees, so that does that.

'I need the drank,' Dirk muttered, stepping to Drunksword and... wait, no, he wasn't Swordsword, he was some drunk guy with Swordsword's sword. Okay. Anyway he is the source of the powerhol, and that Dirk doesn't want his captain to be too drunk, otherwise how could the drunk sailor be that the man who commands a ship? I can't sail when I'm drunk, and he'll die if he fell off the boat. So basically, he wanted the holohol, and he had to dispose of the. It had to goat. The seas fish can eat it and not die.

Excellent Plan Dirk! This Is Going To Go Wonderfully!
Posted, boys and girls. Yeeeaaa.
Well, it was worth a shot. He raised his hands and stepped away from Aeryn after that to show he meant no harm, since she was obviously uncomfortable with his presence- perhaps he'd been a bit too forward? Much as he hated the thought of leaving the conversation on such an implicitly sour note, he reckoned he'd said enough for now. Best to just remain a priest for the time being, perhaps.

Instead, he mulled over what Argon and Geradin had told him. From the sound of things, Argon hadn't chosen to be a fighter at all, but had instead found himself a slave gladiator for a time, and gone from there after finding his freedom. And as for the dwarf, well, "the most grim god" certainly implied that adherence to Ragnarok's tenets involved a lot of violence. Both good to know, then - the dwarf fought by choice, the lizard because he'd never known differently.

The village they consequently approached was, for want of a better word, quaint. Apparently, its inhabitants were also rather naive, if they imagined the Southlands would be so kind to them without a wall to hide behind. But at least they were armed, with crossbows, which were being pointed at them... oh boy. Sett really wanted to hide away from those, but as the priest of the group, he felt obligated to try and talk to these people. Slowly, he stepped slightly ahead of the group, hands raised again in supplication... that was becoming a theme today, apparently.

'My friends, I greet you most graciously,' he spoke, already slipping into the charismatic and priestly tones he was so used to utilising in his church. 'Be not afraid, for we are but weary and humble travellers through these lands, and all told quite agreeable to those who would be our friends and acquaintances. If it would not trouble you, sirs and ladies, I might ask that you be so kind as to allow us to partake of what your abode has to offer, for we have spent many a night in peril, and seek only shelter and refreshment in a land that is distressingly short of both.' Hopefully, that would tug on some heartstrings. Hopefully, his own would not be damaged in any way during his speech, those crossbows could be viciously destructive.

Alas, no. I've found myself occupied with other games between my previous show of interest and now, though maybe once that calms down I can sort out a sign-up?
I'll certainly keep an eye on this one. Joining may be another matter, but we'll see.
@The Fated Fallen Oh hey, Alice is talking to Argon and Geradin, too. That's neat.
