Current Almost exactly one year since I step away from being here, and a lot can change in that amount of time. Here's hoping I can find a game or two and see how things go from here.

RIP Stan Lee... You will forever be missed. As someone whose grown up reading Marvel comics, you've always have kind of been a part of my life. Thank you for making most of the Marvel heroes we know.

Bio

WIP I'm coming back after forever so clearing all of this seems like a good choice.

Just few basic things.

1. Left for my own sort of health reasons.
2. I ran a game for almost a decade when I stepped away from everything.
3. Currently working on getting an interest check up for the game I am going to hopefully be able to run.

All set, that's all for now.

"Sapphire - you okay?" Veil asked, squinting as she tried to clearly see her friend. The black eyes weren't helping. At least they were being held in a cell together - that much was a positive. Two trays of food had been shoved in under the door a little bit before Sapphire returned, the food largely looking like mush.

"I'm fine... Managed to get my one phone call before being beaten to a pulp, so that was fun..."

"Hey, at least you got a phone call... Come on, there's mush for dinner."

"Yeah, no way in hell I'm eating that crap, it's worse than what we usually have by a lot."

Veil laughed slightly, but it was painful to even chuckle. She started poking around the food on the tray, before she pulled out a tiny piece of glass. "Ground up glass in the food... Nice."

"Like I said, it is hazardous to your health, so no way in hell am I even touching it."

Pushing a bit of her hair out of her eyes, Veil nodded. She stacked the trays and left them by the door so that way the guards could collect them. "What did they ask you about?" she couldn't help but ask. "Or well... I didn't get a lot of questions. Mostly a lot of blows."

"Not much really, aside from basically them knocking me out cold before being dragged and waking up in interrogation... Though I will say this, the woman seemed really interested in learning about you, I didn't say anything of course, bit of annoyance when the woman basically said I was arrested by OMEN because of helping with the Underground, which I did deny and turned things around, pointing out the facts that OMEN basically kidnapped people anyway."

"Fuck O.M.E.N.," Veil mused in agreement. She shifted slightly, before she slowly lied back onto the bed. Everything hurt when she moved and she was really hoping that they'd be let out of there soon. "Is anyone coming to bail us out?"

"Yup, called my buddy Freddie Flynn over at SHIELD, so that'll be fun, he said he'll come to bail us out."

She chuckled slightly, before Veil winced from the pain. "You have it bad for Flynn," she said. It wasn't a question - just a statement of fact. She had never seen Sapphire be as warm with someone as she was with Flynn.

"I do not! He's a friend!" she protested with a bit of an eye roll.

"Oh really? Then why do you call him Freddie?"

"Ever heard of something like a nickname? Honestly, his full name is freaking Frederick, who the hell names their kid that anyway!"

"I think the parents of Flynn," Veil suggested cheekily.

"It is a stupid name, and Fred is just as dumb of a nickname, Freddie just sounds better. Could have called him by his last name, but honestly? It is way too much fun to tease him about his name."

Veil nodded slightly, but she was fairly certain that her friend was in love with this S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. She knew that Flynn had helped to protect Sapphire when she was trapped in an O.M.E.N. facility - even though he had been a part of O.M.E.N. himself at the time. But if he broke her friend's heart or even dared to look at someone else, Veil would kill him. "Alright, just keep on pretending that he doesn't warm your icy heart."

"He is just a friend Veil, nothing more than that," she said, still denying it completely, though it was still somewhat a lie. She did have a thing for Flynn, but she was not going to admit it at all to Veil.

Jack Theriot

Jack was a little surprised by Max's hug, but he didn't really say anything else about it. He just wasn't exactly in the mood for jokes or hugs or anything like that right now. "I'd love to help you both out right now, but I've apparently got more important things to deal with... Namely my older brother the drug addict is apparently getting out of rehab today and needs me to go get him... Hence why I got pissed off and I still wonder how in my family it is the youngest who seems to be the responsible one..." Jack said, shaking his head before he heard his phone ring and pulled it back out of his pocket and answered it. "This is Jack Theriot..." he said, wondering if it was Casper calling again or someone else.

"This is Piotr. I have favor to ask, Stretch."

"Oh hey, sure, shoot, what can I do for you aside from the thing I'm already still working on... How can I help you?"

There was a slight pause at the other end of the line. "Two underground members were taken by police. We need your help."

"Oh, that certainly is a bit of a problem..."

"Valery Simmons - she is called Veil - and Demetria Clarke - she is called Sapphire."

"So, what, you want me to see about getting them out of jail without breaking them out or something since I feel like someone has probably suggested that sort of thing."

"If you could, that would be much appreciated. But we are having trouble finding them - we need your help."

"Alright, so see about finding the prison or whatever where they are held in, and then see about getting them out, sounds like a fun challenge, I'll see what I can do."

"Thank you. We are in your debt." The call then disconnected.

"Well this should be fun..." he said, turning to look at the other two, and noticing the mist around Leighton. "You might want to get back down into the tunnels, that sort of thing isn't exactly seen as the best... I have to go get my brother the idiot and then I have to go stop by my office. Feel free to tag along if you want to, I just need to get going... Hopefully I can also get a hold of Casper," he continued, before he dialed Casper and started walking away.

"Ssshh, tout va bien mon amie. C'est pas grave. C'est juste une petite blessure, n'est-ce pas?" Gambit said to Mary gently, before turning his entire body to face Ayita and Richard. "You are NOT going to rip into her at all. Ever. I'll be damned if ya bully Goldie after all of the shit she's already been through today. If you so much as send an unkind glance in her direction, you'll have a card shoved up your ass so far that when it explodes, you'll think it was Hank freaking Pym up there!" Gambit snapped.

"Calm down Remy..." Mary said softly, looking at him.

"That was a bit harsh don't ya think?" Rogue asked him, rolling her eyes slightly at that.

"....Nope," Gambit shook his head. "He gets it, doesn't he? What a guy'll do for his baby sister." Gambit had always felt that Mary was the little sister he never had. He had more or less adopted her when she first joined the team, since she was the kid of the group.

"Remy, calm down, you're over reacting just a little bit," Rogue said again, Mary had fallen silent, her head was still hurting, but she could have sworn she heard someone talking in her head, but it was strange to her, as the voice sounded a lot like her own, yet slightly different.

"I ain't mon amie!"

"You kind of are..." Mary muttered.

"Ya went through a lot today and ya don't need any crap added onto it."

"A lot of people went through a lot today, and can I just say you yelling is not helping my horrible headache..."

"Ya, they did, and I doubt any of them want some half rate Severus Snape tearing into them after it."

"You are such a geek."

"Ya say that like it's a bad thing, mon amie."

"It isn't a bad thing..." she said with a slight eye roll. The main reason she had said that was so that they could get off the topic of arguing and yelling at people.

"I'm glad ya're okay..." Gambit said, putting a hand on Mary's shoulder

"You worry too much..."

"Nah chère, given all that's gone down - here and with Jakobsen - I think I don't worry enough."

"Jakobsen has changed since then..." she muttered, but she could have sworn that she heard that voice again, it was still strange, no matter what happened. The voice definitely was hers, and she was not liking at all what it was saying or trying to convince her to do.

Jean looked over at Ayita when she had made the comment about needing to be fixed up and let out a slight sigh. She was glad that she was actually a medical doctor and at least as qualified to do this sort of thing as Beast was. "Give me a moment and I'll get to you after I see what we have in terms of hearing aids or something for him," she responded, nodding her head towards Neil before she went to see if they had any sort of hearing aids that might work for him. Jean got lucky and found a pair, and helped put them in and get them secured in Neil's ears. "Can you hear me?" she asked him, and he'd be able to hear her voice perfectly fine.

Lance shot a glare at his father, and despite how ill he was feeling, probably a combination of his head injury and getting a blood transfusion that was really radioactive, he sat up and went to try and get off the bed. Not really wanting to be there at all.

Banner gently forced Lance back into bed. "You aren't stable enough yet, buddy. Moving now is not a great idea."

"Leave me alone!" Lance snapped at him, getting really pissed off now.

"I will once you are fine," Banner murmured, continuing to work on him. "Also, Guinevere, get your boyfriend out of your bed before Tony sees and has a fit."

Lance glared at his father, before he tried to blast him with light. Unfortunately, it didn't work to well and resulted in a kind of weird flash of light that wasn't too bright, though something else was off. The light seemed to have a slight greenish tint to it, but it was gone in an instant.

"Buddy, not in here okay? A lot of people are badly hurt...."

"Just go away!"

"Not until you're better."

"Just go, I'm fine!"

"Medically speaking, you are not," Banner said, continuing to work on his son.

"Yes I am, so stop it and go away!" he said, before trying to get up again.

Banner easily pushed Lance back down into bed. "Stop it or I will restrain you."

"You are freaking out way too much, honestly, it's just a head injury..."

"And extensive blood loss and potential brain damage."

"It isn't that bad!"

"You never went to medical school or got a higher degree, Lance, so forgive me if I am not swayed by your opinion buddy."

"Wow, so nice about the thought that I never did go to college or anything," Lance said with an eye roll.

"You never seemed interested in it. Surprised you didn't go with Guin - you know the statistics on how people tend to meet spouses in college. You had such a big crush on her," Banner smirked a bit.

"Shut up," Lance said, trying once again to get up, and ignoring what Banner had said about not getting up. He was really annoyed with Banner, not too mention he never really thought too much about going to any sort of college or university, and the parent who actually was around was not someone he had ever wanted to talk about that sort of thing with.

Banner gently pushed Lance back down into bed. "You need to rest," he said, before making good on his word, Banner restrained him to the bed.

"No I don't..."

Cyclops had come down stairs as well, following after Allison and the rest of the group. Beast turned to address the newcomers, and hearing Bobbi's words first, he shook his head slightly at her. "Unfortunately, due to your history you are unable to actually act as a blood donor except in emergency's when no other source is available. However Ms. Andrews, you could act as a potential donor for Ms. Reed, so if you would have a seat please," he said, pulling up a chair so that she could sit right next to Carolina.

"This certainly has been an interesting sort of day hasn't it?" Cyclops mused slightly, leaning up against the wall by the door knowing that he'd likely would just get in the way if he went to attempt to help out. He wasn't exactly the best when it came to anything medical.

@FantasyChic@Nallore@Morose@eclecticwitch@ColouredCyan Jean once again gave her niece a smile and patted her gently on the shoulder, before she headed off to medical with Neil in tow. Cyclops walked over to Sara now, "It'll be okay Sara, trust me, sometimes things like that happen... One of the reasons why I try to be careful about whether my visor gets knocked off or something, since I know that my powers can injure everyone around me if I'm not careful... Not to mention all of us have had Mesmero in our minds before, and it is a horrid feeling, I know. But there wasn't much you could do to prevent. Unless you knew that the attack was coming, there wasn't anything that could have been done, no matter what... So don't kick yourself too much over it..."

@LadyRunic "Smart choice Ms. Dyrkin," Danger said simply, following along after her. "As for what I am, I am the artificial intelligence and physical manifestation of the Danger Room."

@LadyRunic@KazAlkemi@Morose@Nallore
Jean entered the operating theater, levitating Neil over to the bed next to Guin and setting him down, and he would start to regain consciousness.

"You people talk too loudly..." Mary muttered as she opened her eyes. Her head was pounding as she sat up slowly, the world spinning somewhat. She glanced over at the others, and they could see something that she couldn't, and that was that her eyes were red. More of where the color of her eyes were typically green, they had changed to a bright red.

"Hey there sunshine, how ya feeling? Γ‡a va?"

"I feel like my head got put through a blender and spat out again..."

"Ya play too much Fruit Blender Ninja or whatever it is....." Gambit said, shaking his head.

"Whatever you say... Ow... My head hurts..." she muttered, closing her eyes again and putting her hands to her head.

Gambit nodded. "Jeanie, any chance ya can get Goldie some morphine?"

"I do not need morphine Remy, that stuff is way to strong of a pain killer for a headache!"

"It ain't just a headache Goldie."

"I'm fine, don't worry about it."

"No, ya ain't fine. Also, you, Snake Man - ya can damn well wait to talk to Goldie about whatever she did." Gambit said, before turning to look at Richard for a moment.

Hearing that reminded Mary of what exactly had just happened and what she had caused. The fact that she might have accidentally killed people or something, and she curled up slightly on the bed, her mind racing through everything. She glanced slightly at the wall, not really wanting to look at anyone else. Though there was something else wrong, she could have sworn she had heard another voice, but no one else seemed to react to it, so she said nothing about it.

"Hey, hey Goldie...." Gambit then wrapped her into a hug.

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to hurt anyone..." she said, softly, though she was crying slightly now, tears coming down her face.

Now, on the other side of the room, by where Guin and Pietro were. Lance started to stir again slightly, before he slowly opened his eyes. He was feeling horrible, a combination from the head injury and the fact that his father's blood was a little radioactive. "Ow..." he muttered.

"Hey, take it easy buddy...." Banner said softly, monitoring Lance's vitals and making adjustments to treatment on the fly.

"...When did you get here?"

"Guin called me."

"Of course she did..."

"It's a good thing she did...."

"I would have been fine anyway."

"No, you wouldn't have been."

"Yes I would have!"

"Hey, relax buddy, take it easy...."

"I'm fine," he grumbled, glaring slightly at Banner, not too thrilled about this entire situation now. He really did not want Banner to be there, not to mention last he checked a blood transfusion from the Hulk was a bad idea.

Beast was still keeping an eye on Carolina and Annie, before looking at the pair, as well as Dean, in order to answer their questions about Carolina's own injuries. "She will be alright, however it would be helpful if there was someone around here who was not injured and who could act as a blood donor. Though I can keep her stable until we can get some blood for her..."

Sapphire

When Sapphire woke up, she found herself in an interrogation room of sorts. "The asshole..." she muttered under her breath, really really pissed off now, her head pounding a lot from the force of the guy stomping on her head. There was a styrofoam cup of water in front of her and the door opened, as a dark skinned woman in a suit entered the room.

"Good morning, I'm Detective Sanchez. I'm here to ask you a few questions."

"Ask away, though not sure I'll help you at all, you can still ask though."

Detective Sanchez nodded, sitting down on the opposite side of the table. She had a Starbucks coffee with her and she set it across the table within reach of Sapphire. "If you cooperate, that's yours," Sanchez said bluntly. She then took out a file and opened it up, showing files of various mutants that the Mutant Underground had helped to escape. "Can you identify these individuals for me?"

"Never seen them," she said with a shrug, after glancing at the pictures for a moment.

Sanchez sighed, moving the Starbucks cup back to her side of the table. "I've read your file, Miss Clarke. You worked for Serval Industries for years in the private sector... for their X-Factor team. Why leave? Why go join the Mutant Underground?"

"I left X-Factor because I was getting bored and honestly working for a corporation just wasn't my thing, and what the hell is the Mutant Underground?" she asked, deciding to try and play dumb about it.

"You were arrested for working with the Mutant Underground by O.M.E.N., Miss Clarke. Playing dumb is not going to lessen your sentence. Terrorizing a neighborhood? Forcing people from their homes? Killing innocent bystanders? You had quite a day yesterday, didn't you?"

"Actually, don't believe everything you hear. The incident with O.M.E.N.? Well, I was the innocent bystander, since the organization basically abducted mutants left and right without any reason, so I'm going to call B.S. on that, and I didn't kill anyone, so not quite sure what sort of point you are trying to make here. I do not work with the Mutant Underground."

The detective then pulled photographs of the Purifiers in the hospital with severe injuries, most of them related to ice. There was also security footage of Sapphire at the apartment complex, using her abilities. "How do you explain this, then?"

"Ever heard of self-defense? I was minding my own business when those assholes shot at me. Doubt you'd believe me anyway, considering the fact that the world is kind of against people with powers. Otherwise you wouldn't feel the need to have the collars if we truly were considered equals."

Sanchez rolled her eyes slightly. She had heard these arguments time and time again. She then pulled out a photograph - it was Veil's mugshot. "Can you tell me who this is?"

"She's a friend of mine, so what? Honestly the treatment towards mutant in this day and age reminds me a lot of the Civil Rights Movement in the US, how long did it take African Americans to gain equal rights? Oh, wait, they actually join in on the treatment of mutants, even though they themselves are still treated lesser. Guess everyone finds someone that they want to feel lesser than themselves to make themselves feel better." she mused slightly.

The detective ignored the monologuing. "Who is your friend?"

"Depends on which friend you are talking about, I've got lots of friends all over the world, you have to be a bit more specific," she said with a smirk.

"The woman in the photograph. Who is she? What does she do?"

"How the hell should I know? And why would I tell you anything even if I knew what she did for a living? Honestly, you people never learn, friendship is stronger than potential death threats."

"You just said she was your friend. I want to help her, Miss Clarke. If you give me the information I need, then I can do that. She's facing a murder charge."

"Who isn't in this day and age? And don't talk that BS about wanting to help. If you wanted to help you'd know that that group who attacked us? That they tend to murder people with powers on a daily basis, similar to the Klu Klux Klan of today, so even in a hospital they probably would all have half a dozen murders a piece, so nope, not telling a damn thing until you all actually truly seem like you give a damn. Besides, as I mentioned before, I have more than a few friends," she said with an eye roll. This woman was really getting annoying in her mind.

Detective Sanchez sighed, making eye contact with Sapphire. Her eyes abruptly changed shape and color, going from a dark brown to almost pure yellow. "Let me ask you again - who is this woman?"

Oh hell, talk about a plot twist of sorts. She had a pretty good guess as to who the woman sitting across from her was, and what the hell was she doing here? "Why are you wanting to know?" she asked, she wasn't even sure she could trust the woman sitting across from her.

Sanchez' eyes returned to normal. "Because I want to help you - both of you, Miss Clarke."

"Look, I'd like to help you, but how do I know I can trust you, and how do I know there aren't people listening in on this conversation right now? I don't know if I can trust you, at all, so sorry if I'm a bit skeptical." she said, having leaned forward and dropped her voice to a whisper.

Detective Sanchez nodded a bit, standing up and pushing the cup of coffee across the table. "Thank you for your cooperation," she said, before she swept out of the room. The files had been left behind as well.

Sapphire looked at the files that she had left, and decided since she was bored, might as well look through them. As she started flipping through things, where she stopped suddenly, seeing a picture of a young girl. Glancing around slightly, she slipped the picture into her pocket, as well as a list of potential Purifier leaders. That was something she hadn't expected, at all. It was the last thing she saw that made her wonder what to do with it. It was an address, with a date and a time on it. She had no idea what it was, or whether she should tell Veil about it, but that didn't matter now as she slipped the information into her pocket as well. Before she picked up the coffee cup, and noticed that there was a shiv in it. She pocketed that as well, trying to figure out what the hell to do with it.

Jack Theriot

Location: The Morlock Tunnels
Skills: N/A

"I'd be more than happy to help you out there," Jack said to Leighton with a bit of a smile, before glancing over at the others again. "Though I do have to make a few phone calls, oh, and uh, Tome, I can see about calling my friend over with the Mutant Underground and see about getting you in with them or something if you want. I have to go stop by my office in a little bit anyway to try and get some of the stuff for him anyway... So I can put him on my call list of people I need to talk with, was planning on talking to him later anyway... Now, if you all will excuse me, I need to get outside where there is better cell service than down here, anyone who feels the need to go outside and such, you can tag along if you want to," Jack said with a slight wave before walking away from the others.

He headed out of the tunnels, since they did not have the best cell signal in them, and he really needed to see about calling his brother, wherever the hell he was. Jack hated that he was considered the sane one in the family, even though more than a few people have called him crazy at times. He just brushed it off, not even mentioning that two of his half-siblings were in a mental hospital and the other one was a drug addict. Once he reached the surface and got outside, finding himself in a tree filled area by the National Zoo, he pulled his phone out of his pocket and saw that he had a voicemail. Putting the phone to his ear, he listened to Casper's voice mail. After it was over, he let out a sigh, getting really really mad now. Of course his brother thought he could just drop everything to go get him, why wouldn't he? Felt like that was kind of what he had been doing for most of his life or something now. He put the phone in his pocket, before he couldn't help it and ended up kicking a nearby trash can. This was going to be a long day, that much was obvious, since no matter what he did, he couldn't really help everyone, despite his best attempts it would seem. He had so much to do, and so little time to actually do it in.

He pulled out his notebook, flipping to the list he had made. He crossed out Call Casper and scribbled in Get Casper from rehab in it's place. Jack knew he'd have to go get his brother eventually, and he partially wanted to put it off for as long as possible.

She glanced over at Rave when the woman spoke about living arrangements, and she couldn't help but be curious as well to what Lord Bardolf's answer would be. Though Penance did not expect it to be too much of a kind one, since as she recalled the man hadn't wanted them in the manor to begin with. So why on earth would he show them much kindness as they were uninvited? No one else was really speaking up, just waiting to hear what the Lord of the Manor's response was.

It was a nicer response than she would have expected given the circumstances of their arrival and their being at the manor at all, so she had to give some credit to the man for that. She had half expected him to say that they all were to crash on the floor of the ballroom since he didn't want them there at all. Servant quarters would be better than having to deal with just being out in the open on the floor, probably without any sort of blankets or such. This sort of thing was getting to be a bit interesting in her mind, but she wasn't too sure what else to do.

The one man clearly was fine with the idea of sleeping in the servant's area, and that could be fine and dandy for him, but she personally would prefer to be somewhere else. One of the guest rooms or something would be preferred, and she hoped to not annoy Lord Bardolf at all, in hopes that perhaps he wouldn't have her go to the servant's area.

Valda, Bruce and Zekarra

Location: Wizard Tower - Great Hall

Valda glanced at her brother, hearing his words about wanting to leave, and she couldn't exactly blame him. Everything that had happened was really strange, not to mention it all happened rather quickly and suddenly. She was starting to want to leave Wizard Tower as well and get back to the palace, along with her brother and sister. The fact that so much as happened in such a short amount of time, that was definitely something, and she wasn't really wanting to stick around much longer if she could avoid it.

"Alright Myrus, we can get out of here," she said, giving him a slight smile before glancing over at her sister. Valda started using her Magyk to see about transporting them back to the palace, and a few moments later, herself, Myrus and Luna were all back there. It was just quicker that way then having to deal with leaving and avoiding any more chaos that could potentially happen. She really wanted to get her siblings out of that situation, so she just went with it.

Even though Bruce recognized Fleur from their last encounter, and the fact that he wasn't too thrilled that she still had a certain object with her, he couldn't help but be grateful as well that Fleur had helped Antonije. He didn't know what he would have done had Tate actually died. That definitely would have caused some major problems, and he would have kicked himself had that happened. Since it would have meant that he had basically failed the kids, no matter how hard he had been trying.

He nodded his head at his grandfather, still holding on to Myth's hand. The nice thing about him being part Asgardian was that if she basically was using all of her strength to try and crush his hand or something, it wouldn't be too bad. This was not what he had expected to happen today at all, and this was definitely a crazy day. There wasn't much else he could do at the moment aside for be there for Myth, and their kid.

Outside, Zekarra looked at Rainbrook, really wanting to calm him down, or try to come up with something she could say to him that could calm him down, but she knew that there was nothing. His mother was gone, so in this form of the timeline he'd never be born, and there wasn't much she could do about it. Maybe they'd get lucky and she actually was still alive out there somewhere, but she didn't know what to do to make him feel better. She had zeroed in on Rainbrook's problems, that she didn't seem to notice Ahote's problems, and she followed after him.

"It'll be okay Rainbrook..." Zekarra said softly to him.

"Cuyler," Klara started to say to him, not too sure how to tell him what had happened, but instead decided against something. She didn't want to tell him what had happened to Arya, and it helped slightly that she had the Goddess of Lies on her side here. Glancing over at Cuyler, she let out a deep breath, she still was not feeling the best, and looked a little pale still, but she wasn't letting that get to her. "I haven't seen her, I don't think she was up here to begin with, don't worry."

Marygold Isley

Location: Dining Pavilion -> Cabin Four

Mary was glad that Leda had decided to tag along, but now was not the time to really be talking about that. Now was the time to get going, and she wanted to hurry along as fast as she could to be able to get going on the quest already. She hurried along to her cabin, grabbing a few things that she likely would need for this quest. Glancing around at her things, she just grabbed her bad, along with the sword that she generally stashed in the cabin, and headed off to meet up with the others.

It wasn't too surprising that she seemed to be the last one to show up, she was a little on the slow side sometimes, but she didn't really care. On her way over she had pulled her red curls back into a ponytail so that they wouldn't get in the way, and she reached where the others were. "Sorry for being a little slow... Let's get going then or what?" she said, smiling slightly at the others who were all there already. Mary glanced over at the chariots, and it made her even more excited to get going on this little adventure.

Theresa Sparks

"You don't seem like you are alright..." Sparky muttered under her breath, looking at the spiders. It was like she was in her worst nightmare right now, and she could not wake up from it. That basically was everything for her that had happened while being stuck there, a living nightmare. Problem was that there wasn't a way out of this nightmare, at least not one that they could see, so they were basically stuck where they were, and having to deal with mobs and mobs of spiders.

She preferred the idea of being able to kill a spider with her foot, but no, that would be way too easy. These things of course had to be bigger than the typical house spider. Why couldn't they be easier to squish or something? This place was weird in her mind, but of course that was to be expected. When Janet had said to leave her behind, she knew that it was a really bad idea, since if they got separated, then they'd never find each other again. "No... We stick together..." she said softly, looking over at the Wasp.

Frederick Flynn

Flynn was a bit annoyed by Tempest's interruption, and honestly was wondering just how much access the woman had to the security systems. He did wonder if it was a good thing for her to be able to look at the security cameras all of the time when she doesn't need to or wasn't asked to. Now he was thinking about going to ask her about that, she really needed to learn about privacy and spying on other people, maybe he'd smack her over the head while he was at it, not like she wouldn't deserve it.

Hearing Bonnie's words though, and that Tempest's words clearly had effected her made him really want to smack Tempest around. She did not need something like that, clearly the woman didn't know a damn thing about people. He'd purposefully been avoiding mentioning her previous marriage, and that was part of the reason why he'd held off asking her out, not sure how she'd react to it. "I know Bonnie... I really do, okay? I understand if you don't want to go out with me because of that, but I'd appreciate it if you reconsidered that... I'll wait if that is what you want, if you don't want to or whatever, it's your choice..." he said softly to her, giving her a smile.

Goose the Cat

These people were way too slow when it came to moving, obviously something was wrong, and they were being slower than snails moving! Hoomans need to learn to move much more quickly! Honestly, what are they doing? Fury would never approve of his agents moving this slow, really! I'll have to tell him about it later, since this is ridiculous. They need to learn to move quicker, otherwise who knows what could happen! Maybe I should claw at their ankles or something to get them to move more quickly... Would probably work out for the best.

They also need to turn off those blasted alarms! Do these hoomans not have any ears or something? Or do they just have really crappy hearing? The alarms are so loud, how could they NOT hear that? "MEOW!!!" I yell at them, trying to tell them to turn off the dumb thing before we all go deaf! Though it seems like the hoomans are already deaf if they can't hear that dumb alarm and haven't turned it off already!

Hikaru and Ryuu

Ryuu was a bit surprised by Jia Li's sudden kiss, it certainly was not what he had expect. However, he just went along with it, figuring that it was better to try and be as convincing of a couple as possible. Though truth be told he found this insanely weird, he had just met this girl not too long ago, and now in order to basically keep up an act of sorts, he was kissing her. This was definitely one of the strangest things that he has ever done in his life, and that was definitely saying something.

Hikaru was a bit grossed out by the random kissing that had started and was going on, and made a bit of a face at Jia Li and Ryuu. Why did people have to do that in public or whatever? Sure, she was fairly certain it was all part of the ruse, but still... It didn't stop it from being weird or any less disgusting. She hoped at least that the guy bought the whole situation or whatever, though she wasn't sure how he'd react to Yumiko.

The guard rolled his eyes slightly at the pair who were currently kissing, not too sure how exactly that sort of thing was necessary at that moment, but he wasn't too disgusted or annoyed by it. However, he looked directly at Yumiko, giving her a bit of a smile, "Well, I just might take you up on that offer, should we ever cross paths again... And don't you worry, we'll find the escaped prisoners. Until next we meet," he said, nodding his head slightly before he left with the rest of the guards leaving the group alone.

"You two can stop kissing now you know... It is a bit gross if you ask me..." Hikaru said with an eye roll, and Ryuu pulled away from Jia Li, making sure to put at least a few steps between them.

"I fully expected us to have to fight our way out of that situation... We lucked out that those guards were a bunch of idiots who had no idea what was going on, not, let's get out of here quickly before they change their mind and potentially come back."

Sapphire

Location: Jail

Instead of leading Sapphire to the interrogation room, they took her down the hallway to where there was a phone. "You get one phone call. Make it quick."

She stared at the phone as she walked over to it, already knowing just whose number she'd be calling, and she was really glad she memorized his number. Dialing the number, as soon as she heard his voice she started talking. "Hey, Freddie? Think you can come bail a friend and me out of jail?"

"Woah, slow down Sapphire, what happened?"

She took a deep breath, "A friend of mine and I were doing a few things, and one thing led to another and we got arrested... Look, can you just come bail us out? Please? Could really use a hand considering I really really really do not like prisons..."

"Alright, it might take me a little while to get there though... But I'll come and see what I can do... See you in a little bit Sapphire... Though later I might want a bit more of an explanation than just that you were doing things that ended up getting you arrested."

"And I'll give you one later, okay? And Freddie? Thanks for helping..."

"No problem... See you in a little while then..."

"Bye..." she said, hanging up the phone before she turned to look at the guards again.

One of the guards looked at her, while the other started to whistle and looked away. The first one then grabbed Sapphire by the hair and then threw her to the ground. "On your feet, mutie!" he spat.

"Asshole..." she muttered as she got to her feet, getting a bit annoyed with the guards, but it was something that she had expected.

"What did she say?"

"I think she called you an asshole," the other guard grunted. "I guess her mutation doesn't give her brains, does it then?"

"Let me check," the first guard then said, slamming Sapphire's head into the wall.

She coughed slightly at that, falling silent now, her head was pounding because of that, and she didn't really know if she could actually talk at the moment after that. The pain was making her panicking even worse, so it caused her to be silent. The guards startled chuckling, as the second one then shoved Sapphire to the ground and started kicking her repeatedly in the rib cage. "How's the kids?" he asked his coworker.

"Oh, they're good, Lacy has her recital today."

"Really? She's growing up so fast!" She couldn't help but find it amusing that they were talking about family life while one of them was beating her up. She felt her ribs crack slightly from the force of his foot, and she kept coughing, not sure what to do in this situation. Eventually, the guards stopped, only for one to then "gently" put his foot on her throat. "So mutie trash - what did you call me again?" he asked, ready to crush Sapphire's throat.

"Shut up..." she muttered, glaring at him, knowing perfectly well that she wasn't in any sort of position to actually say or do anything else.

"That's what I thought," the guard said, before stomping on Sapphire's head and knocking her unconscious.

Jack Theriot

Location: The Morlock Tunnels
Skills: N/A

He didn't sleep too horribly, at least the best that he could, but he had been up for a little while now. Jack was flipping through his notebook, pen in hand as he looked down at the words on the page. It was going to be a long day, that much was for sure, but he didn't care too much, as long as he was doing the best that he could. One of the objects on his list was related to his actual job, and had absolutely nothing to do with the Morlocks. Every other item had either something to do with the Morlocks (or a member of them) and then there was the part about his brother.

The list reads:
Things I need to do or attempt to do at some point today!
  • Make fun of Erg when no one else is around aside from him that his real name is Leo (have to have some respect for the guy, make sure no one else can hear!)
  • Supply Run! (with newbies tagging along it seems)
  • Keep an eye on the kid and Elsa the Ice Queen who froze her tent.
  • Help Elsa over there learn to control her powers (reminder, BE CAREFUL, ice is really bad for people who are effectively like rubber and silly putty)
  • Call Casper to make sure he isn't doing something stupid
  • Try to find some more info on Colossus' missing sister and hopefully find something.
  • Research the newbies and make files for them (keep files hidden away from everyone else, want to make sure that there is no skeletons in the closets for them so that at least someone is aware about that if their are any.)

Walking past a few of the tents, he heard Max's voice coming from Blink's tent. He couldn't help but be at least slightly curious as to what it was that he was talking to Blink about, and so he wandered over to the tent. Hearing Max's question, Jack couldn't help but enter the tent in order to answer Max's question himself, since he was helping a member of a group like what Max was describing. "Sorry, I uh, couldn't help but overhear your question," Jack said as he slipped his notebook and pen into his inner jacket pocket, "The Mutant Underground might be a good fit for you then if you want to do something like that. The group helps to move mutants and protect those being targeted by Purifiers... If you want, I could talk to someone for you, I know one of them, the guy came to me for help looking for his sister by the name of Colossus."
