Yep! Sounds good to me :)
Hmm... I could probably get into this.

I guess the only other position is the best friend. I'm cool with that :)
Torunn noticed her mom approaching her as if she would explode too if she touched her. With a raised eyebrow, she kept her eyes on her mom, even as she explained that the bulbs had blown up due to accumulated moisture? She had never heard of a bulb exploding when someone touched it because of moisture. Then again, maybe it was just that. Something she had never heard of. Why was her mom being so cautious of her then?

"Hey, therea still one bulb in the box." Torunn said as she nodded her head towards said box, her eyes never leaving her mom. "Maybe you'll have better luck changing the bulb." In fact, Torunn was curious as to whether the same thing would happen if her mom touched the bulb, or if it was just her. If it was just her, what was wrong with her? Not even a little bit of static electricity she may have gotten from the couch was enough to do that to a light bulb. Much less 2 of them. Plus the one she had flipped on.

"It's ok?" She asked, a littme delayed. Torunn laughed nervously and held her hand out, palm up, morning to the glass all over the place. "How is this ok? I just blew up 2 light bulbs just by touching them! Plus that one!" She exclaimed as she then pointed above their heads where the first one had been. "How is this ok?" She repeated, a hint of hysteria in her voice.
Nodding to her mom's response, Torunn walked ive to the sink and opened the cabinet doors beneath it. Kneeling down, she spotted the box of bulbs easily and quickly. Her mom kept it so neat and organized under her sink. Her own, was horrible. She would have to move things around sometimes depending on what she was looking for. Torunn grabbed the box of bulbs in one hsnd, and closed the cabinet doors as she rose back to her feet.

She had just started to open the box when a bright light flashed in the window her mom was sitting next to. It had been so bright, and so close, that all she saw when it flashed, was white. The sudden massive rumble of thunder soon followed, shaking the penthouse and causing Torunn to jump in surprise once again. Her wide eyes turned to the window, then back to her mom, just as another flash of light blinded her. "Holy shh... crap." Torunn said as she quickly caught, and corrected herself before she cursed.

Shaking her head, she turned her attention back to the task at hand, and finished opening the box. Reaching in, she grabbed one out by the bulb end, then went to grab the other end with her other hand. As soon as her hand and the threaded end of the bulb connected, that bulb too, exploded. In her hand. Glass shattered and flew several feet before falling and hitting the ground. Luckily, none stuck in her hand or anywhere else. Torunn, stared wide eyed at the now shattered bulb she still held in her hand.

She was speechless for a moment, just... staring at what remained. Torunn swallowed hard and quickly set the remainder of the bulb on the counter. Her eyes then moved to the box that contained 2 other bulbs, and again, she stared. "Mom?" Torunns brow furrowed and she bit her lip. She reached back into the box and pulled out another bulb, by the glass dome again. Flipping it upside down, she placed it on the counter, and stepped back.

Torunn removed her light jacket and moved it in front of her, holding it up to her eyes. She inched her finger towards the threaded end, and again, it exploded as soon as her finger made contact with it. Torunn had lifted the jacket just before she touch it, but could hear the glass explode. What the hell? She slowly lowered the jacket and stared at the remains of the second bulb, in disbelief. There's no way that could happen twice in a row. She was tempted to try for a third time, but didn't. "Uhm, mom? What the he'll just happened?"
Torunn sat upright and looked at her mom when she suddenly reached for the remote, turning the volume up on the television. She again, turned her attention to the news and her brow furrowed. There were two tornadoes in Los Angeles. Two. Hurricanes, yes. But tornadoes? It was definitely odd. Her mom then changed the channel, each one speaking of odd weather behavior in other places of the U.S. "what the hell is going on?" She asked out loud to no one in particular.

She watched on for a moment longer before shaking her head in disbelief, and getting up from the couch. She made her way into the kitchen to get a drink, and flipped on the light switch. As soon as she did, the light flashed bright, then the bulb exploded. The sudden noise startled Torunn, and she stopped in her tracks and looked up at the light. The bulb was covered, so there wasn't shattered glass on the floor. That was a plus. "Hmm..." Torunn looked at her mom and chuckled nervously, pointing to the light. "Sorry mom. Do you have any more bulbs?"
Torunn watched as her mother came around the couch she occupied and sat next to her where she had been rubbing the cushion. A small smile pulled at her lips as her mother's arm snaked around her shoulders. Her smile widened when the woman gently pulled her head down to her chest, allowing Torunn to lay her head there. Torunn's own arms slid around her mother's torso, and she closed her eyes, listening to her smooth, heart beat. It was one of those sounds that she always found comfort in when she was upset.

Torunn stayed laying on her mother's chest for several minutes, soaking it all in. After all, now that she was moved out, it was something she missed. She opened her eyes and slowly pulled herself back up into a sitting position, smiling at her mom. "So," she began as she tucked her hair behind her ear and chuckled. "Been staying busy?" Her eyes glanced towards the muted t.v., then back to her mom. She too had noticed the odd change in the weather. Every now and again, she would watch the news, but didn't think too much about it. It was the weather, and it acted strange sometimes.
