What Could Go Wrong?

When the door was finally open, Delilah dashed through them, pulling Eugene with her. As soon as they were in the cafeteria, she shut the doors and pushed Eugene against them, resting her forehead on his chest. The knife was still in her hand, and as She listened to Ramsy and Lila asking questions, she just held her finger up. Just as she was about to speak, the doors started shaking and there was banging on the other side. Incoherent yelling could be heard, meaning it was the killer. Delilah cried out and flung herself off of Eugene and against the doors, leaning all of her weight against them as if she could keep them shut.

After several moments, it stopped, and Delilah closed her eyes, trying to keep herself from crying. No, she had to be strong. "The killer was in the office. He chased us back here..." And then it hit her again. Her eyes widened. "Aaron is still out there." Her brown eyes scanned over everyone. "We need to go find him."

Meanwhile, outside the doors, the killer waited and listened. From what he could hear, someone had gotten left behind. Of course, he knew that, he had seen him run off. Though, to wait for everyone else, or go find the boy? He tapped the top of his bloody knife against the mouth of his mask in thought. He then turned and walked back down the hall, searching.

Delilah ran after Eugene, catching up to him quick. She ran back in the direction of the cafeteria. Looking back before they got there, she noticed Aaron wasn't with them. "Aaron!?" Her eyes searched frantically for him, but he wasn't there. She was about to run back and try to find him, when the killer popped his head around the corner.

Delilah gasped and stepped backwards. She started banging on the doors, urging the others to let them back in. Then she remembered. Three knocks. She knocked three times. As loud as she could. "Guys, it's us, let us in!" She shouted, her eyes watching as the killer stalked towards them, slow, and with purpose.

As he got closer, Delilah gripped the knife harder, her free hand grabbing a hold of Eugene's unconsciously. She was steeling herself to attack if she needed to. And what about Aaron? Where the hell had he gone to? She had to find him. "Eugene, I need to find Aaron." She whispered to him. What was taking the others so damn long?!

Torunns breathing slowly started to even out as she stared into her mom's eyes. The womans presence was calming all in its own. She took one last deep breath and closed her eyes, standing up straight. Her grip on her mother's arms loosened and she let her head lightly hit the wall she was leaned against. Torunn nodded and opened her eyes again, looking at her mom. "Yeah, just a bad bulb." She repeated as she released her mom's arms.

Again, she nodded her head and started walking to her mom's room. She wasn't sure why such a thing had scared her so bad. Torunn put her hand on her forehead, slowly raking her fingers through her hair, pushing it back. Entering her mom's room, she wasted no time and went to her bed. Torunn climbed up onto it and under the covers. Snuggling down, Torunn closed her eyes and let sleep take her in a matter of moments.
