I think to sell someone on an interest check, it's really important to seem enthusiastic about your own idea. That means writing more than a single sentence to attract potential players.

Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.

I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.
Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.
RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.
As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.
RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.
And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.
Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.
Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...
Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.
Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.
I guess I'll get a post up for the bates tomorrow. Well, what's left of them anyway, haha.
@DarkwolfX37 They are indeed the same face claim, though the artists are different, and took slightly different approaches to the outfits. Interesting, I hadn't noticed.
I'm tempted to start holding off on pings. it feels like I'm pretty much hitting the entire RP when I post.

Missed this when I responded this morning.
Yea, I'm actually planning on making a campaign for my tabletop buddies with that. Though it seems like a lot of stuff is still missing. I don't see higher level skills or even a spell workshop to make new spells with. Obvious problems with using this in an RP setting is that it's a bit too limiting. I wouldn't mind running some casual fights with it just for kicks. Though I think making a balanced team would be hard. Twin soul magical girls are weaker than normal magical girls, but would it really be fair to pit them against a lone magical girl?
Sue didn't catch much of what Violet was saying, but she was sure the Djinn was just trying to be polite. No one would have to be bothered on Sue's behalf though. She knew Alexander was over reacting, but after disgracing herself so much, the familiar welcomed the magical boy's choice to take Lily and her away from it all. Well, Deni was a lot nicer than Sue expected at least. She'd have to eat those onion rings and tater tots for the both of them now. Once they were outside, she flew off of Alexander's shoulder and dove into her handbag. Once there, Sue pushed around her clothes until she found her phone. It was still on.
“Amber.” Sue was whispering. She was quite confident no one could hear her with all the focus being on the talking magical girls. “We're done.”
“Did Mariette show?”
“Of a fashion. She's pretty creative with those portals.” Sue sighed. “It went down pretty much like you said it would. Lily looks upset, so don't rub it in too much.”
“I would not rub something like that in!”
“You would if it was me.”
“True, but we're long standing friends.” Amber cleared her throat. “Were there any other developments?”
“Yea.” Sue looked out the top of the bag before turning back to the phone. “The magical girls who granted my wish are here.” Silence. Sue thought the line had gone silent. “Hello?”
“Just thinking to myself. Rest up Sue. Have Lily call me if she needs anything. See you soon.”
“Buh-bye!” Sue pecked the call button on her phone. Though she couldn't help but think that Shining Scale was up to something.
What was Elroy doing? The tar roof of the building wasn't exactly comfortable for Regina lay on. The plan was for Elroy to get as close as possible, then attack the bow-wielding woman when she was vulnerable. He wasn't gaining anything by drawing this out. Time was of the essence. Why was he waiting? Regina could only think of one thing: That he knew it would be a mistake to carry out her plan. Regina had stated previously that she had no interest in becoming a target of beacon, so why was she attacking them now? This anger she felt, was it more her mental mutation talking than herself? She didn't know anymore. The succubus placed a hand on the side of her head and closed her eyes. Maybe Elroy was dragging this out because he knew this. Yes, Elroy was always eager for a fight. The only time he hesitated was when he knew it would be a bad idea to do so. The only time he ever went against her wishes was when it was for her benefit, like during that fight with Caroline. Elroy had only just recently entered Regina's life, and she occasionally forgot how protective he was of her. Elroy was looking after her, and he knew this was a mistake. That had to be it.
But what was this? Penny's thought patterns were changing. She was moving towards Elroy's position. Did she think Regina was a fool? Beacon was nothing but a bunch of scheming opportunists! Regina waved her gun in the air and five black mortars appeared around her, concealed behind her veil of invisibility. Sound was unfortunately beyond the scope of her magic. Everyone was going to hear her first attack. She pulled back the bolt on her sniper staff and waited.
“Look.” Elroy turned to face Alicia. “I actually just came here to enjoy a meal with my friend. So Socks, we have people to impress, so maybe we can compromise.” He gestured towards the building with his hands, still making eye contact with Alicia. “Maybe we answer some questions, you bugger off, Regina and I eat, then we'll leave and never-”
...That was about when Elroy's ten seconds were up.
@PlatinumSkink@Ariamis In the event that Lily doesn't resist, Sue is DEFINITELY going to scream and holler that they should at least go back and grab her stuff. I also imagine it would be pretty bad if Amber heard Deni rustling around in the pocket book. I wonder if she'd notice Sue's cell phone was on?
Hospital F2 map is done. Depending on how things go during the night of carnage, you might get to make use of all the cool stuff. I decided to use a more streamlined style this time. nothing too different.
Well, That wasn't very cool. It seemed like her attempt to cover up her panic reaction wasn't fooling anyone, least of all Deni. As Sue had suspected, the Djinn sisters weren't in a mood to be granting wishes. This was made evident by how quickly Violet snapped at Lily. Now Lily was losing her edge. What was going on? This was suppose to be a nice get together.
“O-okay violet, I understand. I don't want to bother anyone.” The familiar turned her head. “Lily?” Sue placed a hand on the magical girl's shoulder. “Please use my credit card to pay for dinner. You can order yourself something nice if you want to. And please... Please pick up my dress and stuff it in my handbag, okay? It was kind of over budget.” And then Sue disappeared in a puff of white smoke, with her clothes and pocket book falling to the floor. The diving petrel flew outside and landed on Alexander's shoulder. “So um.” She started to clean under her wing. “If she doesn't use my credit card to buy desert, I think you're going to have to buy her ice cream after this.”
Regina walked towards the edge of the roof and laid down on her stomach. She pointed her rifle out at Alicia, but just watched things through her scope. Strange, she was sure the beacon girl would have attacked as soon as she saw how defiant Elroy was. Maybe the succubus had misjudged this one? No, that girl was clearly drunken with power. Regina might have to be a little gentler with her than she originally intended, but the beacon girl was going to suffer the consequences for her actions. It was just a matter of time before Elroy attacked. Right?
Elroy responded to having a weapon pointed at him by transforming. But he did so slowly as to not provoke the beacon girl into shooting him. A halo of black dust lowered over him and revealed Elroy's true form. The magical energies blew his tie around a bit before it came to rest on his shirt. He took his tower shield off of his back and held it at his side, not really attempting to defend himself. “I saw your stockings, if that counts. I'm very much into Zettai Ryouiki, and you're a straight A.” He lifted up one of his feet. “Socks aren't for me though. Back in the day, samurai looked really cool when they wore socks with their sandals. But now you just look like your uncle or something.” Elroy continued to walk, but it was around Alicia, not towards her. “I guess I also saw your monster friend, your battle with my buddies snake boy and Asian lady. There were also some genie twins and ghost twins. And I got attacked by a vampire girl.” The incubus had circled around to the left-most window. He was several feet away from it, but he tried to peek in and see if he could spot anyone. After his brief inspection, Elroy turned to look back at Alicia. “Why do you ask sock girl? Aren't you trying to chase me away?”
