I think to sell someone on an interest check, it's really important to seem enthusiastic about your own idea. That means writing more than a single sentence to attract potential players.

Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.
Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss
Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)
Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.
Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.
RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.
As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.
RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.
And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.
Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.
Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...
Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.
Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.
@Flamelord That probably won't be necessary. The hospital scene was a fight that lasted about 20 days, just in this RP alone. We're about two weeks into fighting and people are showing actual wounds.
I have a bigger post for Amber coming, but I decided to just post the first part so that the pit stop scene could move forward. It will likely go up with my next garage scene post. Is it even a garage scene post anymore? There's no garage anymore : C
Amber chuckled nervously, Helga's soul stone still in her outstretched hand, “Eh, did you have a relationship like this with your last lady?” The pirate girl continued to grin through her own embarrassment. “A-anyway, good to hear we can rebuild her! And I think the remains of her body are on the roof of Penrose hospital, so we can go there. But no rush, I need to pay my tab from last time.” Amber looped Helga around her neck and walked away from the table. The way the Djinn sisters were talking, it was almost like they were friends with Mariette. Surely they wouldn't choose to befriend such a dangerous magical girl though, right?
Regina had only just stepped out of a shadow in one of the first story bedrooms. Despite her sudden appearance, a root somehow anticipated where she was. It tore through the floorboards and subsequently through the shaded wall she had stepped out of. Had it not been for the root's extremely loud, obstacle-filled path towards Regina, it might have snagged her. But Regina was able to turn around in time to deal with the root. But for all Regina's power, she was still a novice monster girl. Having something like that try to enter your personal space was bound to make almost anyone a little nervous. The succubus shrieked and fired a round directly into the “tentacle.” The bullet may have been small, but it operated on the same principles as Amber's cannon balls. The tiny bullet carried enough energy to turn the root into a mess of splinters. But the real root of Regina's problems came in the form of twelve light arrows aimed at every window on the face of the building. Regina knew she couldn't out run an arrow, so she ducked into a corner and waited for the inevitable. She held her hands over her head as the arrow salvo rocked the building. The monster girl managed to avoid the direct explosion, but the shock wave and debris were enough to throw her forcibly into the wall. This wasn't an attack she was going to just shrug off. Nothing had been broken, but the bruises along the side of her body wouldn't stop hurting during the fight. Before the second barrage hit, Regina quickly sprinted to her feet and dove into the wall. This time she came back out on the top floor on the opposite side of the building. She could feel the second barrage through the vibrating floor. This excessive use of brutality. Anything that caused her to hide in a corner like that was...
Disgusting
Regina was getting aggravated. There were too many people now, and she was starting to lose control of the situation. And that was one thing that Regina wasn't going to stand for. But Regina knew she had lost her advantage. More beacon girls would arrive soon, and Alicia would soon pinpoint her exact location. If Regina wanted vengeance, she would need to do it with her next attack. But who really deserved to fall victim to Regina's judgment? The magical girl who rudely sent her away, or the monster girl that fired a Vulcan blast at her, unprovoked? Suddenly what Regina had to do became so much simpler.
Regina opened one of the hallway doors and aimed out the windo, stabilizing her weapon against the door frame. The pain from the bruises on her right side hampered her a bit, but she was still able to focus through the pain. Her dark mortars were still hovering in place over the hole in the roof. So she sent them off, homing in towards Elroy. Regina's ability to see minds made it possible to spot Penny, Scout, Thalia, and Suwako. They were in relatively close proximity to Elroy, and she would be able to easily blanket the area in darkness with her homing mortars. Of course Suwako would get a very special dark mortar all to herself. She was a bit further away from Elroy, and he wouldn't get hit by the curse. If Suwako found herself caught in the blast, she would be treated to something more sinister than just darkness. There was a mana devouring curse in the mortar aimed at her, and Suwako would feel her mana being ripped directly out of her body, weakening her spells.
But even with all the darkness surrounding Elroy, none of that had any effect on Regina's ability to hit a target. She took aim at Penny and fired. It was a magic bullet with a frailty curse, designed to weaken the body and make it more susceptible to harm.
A rolling metal bolder, a descending monster girl, and an array of tentacles and bullets, all aimed at Elroy's monstrous shape. An impressive pincer attack, especially considering the three magical girls had limited time working together. Most monsters in Elroy's position couldn't hope to get out of such a mess, least of all without taking substantial damage.
But Elroy was angry, not stupid.
The monster boy was not merely charging through scrap steal for the fun of it, he was collecting it and swinging it around himself. Much like electrons swarming around the body of an atom. Scout's roots were instantly sheered in half by a sheet of steel, and what few bullets struck Elroy's chains simply bounced off. Elroy's chains were made out of aegis, and few attacks could break them so easily. Thaila likely had time to protect herself from the scrap hurricane that enveloped Elroy, but the explosion she caused when she struck the barrier wasn't close enough to do any lasting damage. Though both Scout and Thalia's attacks did manage to slow Elroy down a bit. The massive boulder rolled through the wall of flying scrap like it wasn't even there. Elroy was able to block it with his hands, but he was still pushed backwards by the boulder when it hit him. The concrete gave out under his feet as he struggled to stay upright. Though with his mastery over metal, it was only a matter of time before it was dissolved into his spinning steel barrier.
That was when all the random dark zones around the area expired, and new ones started to show up. Three detonated over the garage area, swallowing Elroy and his attackers in darkness.
Elroy now had all of the scrap that made up the garage at his disposal, and he quickly put the finishing touches on his creation. The spinning maelstrom of steel slowed down as the pieces bent around each other. In no time at all, he was encased in a hollow “ball” of metal. Elroy even had enough scrap left over to make himself some makeshift spear, which he floated over his shoulders. Technically he couldn't see his opponents, but his mastery over metal let him sense the only target he cared about. Elroy charged towards Penny, causing the sphere he was in to roll forwards. In the event that anything was able to break through his steel barrier, he would have a spear or four ready for them, depending on the severity of the break.
As Penny and Elroy charged towards each other, Regina's bullet ripped through the air like a bolt from the heavens.
Much like with the hospital roof, a little zero gravity float was enough to prevent Elroy's slam from harming her. Technically, she could just put an image of Regina surviving in his brain to make this fight end sooner, but letting things drag out on Beacon's turf was sure to destroy the shop, weaken the surrounding structures, and put a dent in Beacon's wallet. Anything that tipped things a bit more in favor of the little guys was good in Tonya's book.
Now there was actually no way Suwako could know Regina's position, nor could Regina's attack drain that much mana. But with Tonya in attendance, they would at least think they could. Regina's bullets ripped through an illusion, and soon afterwards, Suwako would fall to a punishing curse that no magical girl could reasonably cast. She had also managed to angle Alicia's arrow far enough away from Regina that it wouldn't do too much damage, compared to what it would have done.
Penny wasn't in a good spot, so Tonya didn't worry too much about her.
Isaiah had more or less stopped appearing at the morning meetings. Ice was not the social sort, especially since a death had happened. He wasn't really surprised who it happened to, and honestly, he always suspected Davis had a screw or two loose. But he sympathized with the younger infinites. He would have felt awful if something happened to Caora or Shaun. Part of him was still broken up over Kara leaving. Would they ever see her again?
Ice was able to hear Cyrus's order. He rolled his eyes. The traitor was working with the mastermind. It made far more sense that any equipment they had would be stored in some safe place. Quite frankly, Ice wouldn't have been surprised if Calvin was the traitor all along. But maybe it was good fortune he was able to hear the request. Everyone would have suspected Aleecia and him if no one checked their rooms. “Alright, I'll check Aleecia's room. She trusts me.” After getting her a sandwich, he left for her room. He hadn't seen her since last night.
Ice knocked on her door, and was a little surprised when Nariko answered instead of Aleecia. She was dressed like an actual nurse, white attire head to toe.
“What happened?” Isaiah's voice cracked.
The robot whimpered. “A-after the roller coaster ride yesterday, Aleecia's um, w-well. She had me watch over her all night a-and her headaches are getting worse.” She lowered her head in shame. “Her brain aneurysm may have been weakened further. She was in so much pain she couldn't talk.”
Ice pushed his way past the robot. He was a man of few words, but he had spent more time with Aleecia out of anyone. Once he pushed past Nariko, his eyes fell on Aleecia. She was laying on her bed with a damp washcloth on her head.
“Is she on anything?”
Nariko shivered. “There's nothing I can do. Morphine and other powerful pain killers thin your blood, which is dangerous with her condition. If her brain has started bleeding, she could bleed out and die.” Nariko's eyes shut with a click. “I-I'm so sorry.”
“Hey!” He grabbed the robot by the shoulders and shook her. “This is your fault! If it wasn't for that stupid rollercoaster-”
But Nariko only made sniffling sounds in response. Some mock tear ducts opened around her eyelids and started to trickle out water. It didn't look like real tears. There was a bit too much water, and it ran off her face too quickly. “I'm sorry!” She whined over and over again.
Monokuma popped out of the floor with a giggle. “You really shouldn't be so hard on Nariko-”
“Why are you pieces of shit in here anyway!? According to the rules-”
“WE ARE ONLY ALLOWED ENTRY IF WE ARE INVITED, WHICH WE WERE!” The bear shouted back. “See? I can cut you off mid sentence too. Now as I was saying...” Monokuma folded his arms. “This is all your people's fault. If there wasn't a trial, there wouldn't have been a need to ride into the court of carnage. So this is on you guys for not being able to love and tolerate each other. In this paradise no less. Seriously! We take care of your every need, and you're killing each other to escape.”
Ice growled. “You know damn well you instigated that last murderer!”
“I was getting bored though! I could bear-ly contain myself!” Monokuma looked between the blood donor and the dice master. “But Aleecia's suffering, I wonder if it will be a motive for murderer, or an incentive for conquest.”
“What are you implying?”
The bear tipped its head. “Oh, well.” He looked to Aleecia. “There are two ways you can end her suffering. One is through killing her. Out of the question for you, I know. Or! You could defeat Alexandria's Carnage Chassis and unlock the facilities on the second floor. There's some stuff in there that can be used to stabilize her.”
“Are you serious?”
“Does a chicken have lips?” Killgood turned his back on the blood donor. “Of course you need to remember my daughter killed Shona single handed. You will definitely be putting your life at risk, as well as anyone who helps you.” Monokuma looked over his shoulder with a chuckle. “If you knew how many people she's killed, you probably wouldn't even attempt it.” Ice only groaned in response. “Anyway, kill each other, or get killed by my daughters. Doesn't matter to me. So long as I cure you of your hope, I'm doing my job!” With a cute giggle, the bear disappeared into the floor again. It was up to Ice to tell everyone what was going on.
“...So if we want to save Aleecia, we need to do that!”
Isaiah had just gotten done explaining the situation to anyone who was willing to listen. Most of the infinites had gathered outside her room to hear Isaia's proposal.
“Um.” Bliss looked away from Isaiah. “I'm all for helping, but the carnage sisters seem dangerous. One of then has chain guns for arms, and another has a cannon. What do we have to fight back with?”
“Like.” Jezebel folded her arms. “This kinda smells like a trap. I'm all for helping a girl out but trying to kill one of those things without a weapon? So uncool!”
Not much time had passed before Calvin made an appearance. “Sounds like you're thinking about taking on Alexandria.” Calvin was holding a bow in one of his hands. “It's been a while since I made a bow, but this one is pretty decent. Not my best craftsmanship, but it won't fail it's wielder.”
Ice looked at the bow. “You made that?”
“And many more weapons.” Calvin spun the bow in his hand. “I'm not sure why, but Alexandria trusts me. During the night of carnage, she entered the crematorium with her carnage class chassis. I thought she was going to kill me, but she discussed her interest in having me make her some horse shoes.” He looked at the rest of the infinites. His eyes were bloodshot, a byproduct of working through the night without rest. “What I propose is that we ambush her when she comes to me tonight. We could split up into two teams. One team could help me slay her, and the other could locate the phone for Krista's phone call. With us fighting Alexandria, that's one less very dangerous carnage sister for the rest of you to deal with. It's a win/win.”
Bliss groaned. “Won't you guys be in a bad spot if the other carnage sisters show up at the crematorium?”
“Not at all.” Calvin swung his head over to Bliss. “Monokuma couldn't enter her room. As long as we stay in Alexandria's room, she's the only one who can harm us.”
“And what about the traitor?”
Calvin sighed. “That's why I was hoping Zachary could come with me. I'm not expecting the arrows to kill the traitor, but if they do show...” He looked at everyone else. “Well, it will certainly narrow down who they were. That fucker would be wise to sit this one out, if they won't help us.”
Ice placed a hand on his chest. “If you could make me a short chain, or find me a cable, I would definitely help slay Alexandria.”
Calvin smirked. “So it seems like we're going to have to put our differences aside for a while huh?” Ice didn't respond. “Look.” Calvin looked back at the group again. “You don't have to help fight. But you can help those that are.”
