Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.

Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss

Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)

Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.

Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.

RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...

Last RP I finished was Symphony of Espers which turned out pretty good.

RP's in progress:
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.

As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.

RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.

And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Other interests:
Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.

Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.

Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...

Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.

Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.

People to Insult:
Dalton is a Dingus.

If Elroy noticed the stranger, he wasn't showing any signs of it.

“Make friends huh?” Elroy dropped his smile and remained silent for a few seconds. “Hmmm...” He set the candy back on the rock and used his free hand to scratch his chin. “Never met someone who just wanted to be friends. There's always some agenda involved.” The smile started to return to his face. “And what's this nonsense about 'dragging the conversation around' eh? That sounds like something a shy boy says to his date on prom night.” the boy laughed at his own joke. “But if you insist on letting me choose the topic to discuss, then how about employment?” he adjusted his glasses. “My sister and I are sort of on the run. We were watching the hospital brawl that you were talking about and we got attacked by a vampire girl and a maid. So we're interested in working for someone who can offer us some protection.” Elroy tossed the apple up and down without looking at it. “You'd like my sister. She likes you feeble types. And I'm sure with the two of us on your side you would have LOTS of friends! Seriously, Regina can be pretty convincing. I can say you won't have any enemies.” Elroy bit into his apple while he waited for a response.
[@t2wave]

"You can call me Elroy, scarf girl." Elroy picked up an apple in one hand and some candy in the other. He made no attempt to shake her hand and promptly started eating. "A shame about your money situation though." He sat down. "People are either providing materials or services. The two are attracted to each other you see. That's why maids are so rampant in rich people's home's in all those manga. They're providing a service for materials. And the young kid who inherited his father's mansion gets to hang around all those maids because even though he's a talentless emo wuss, he has the materials to sate them. The material here is money." He took a bite out of a Snickers in his other hand. "I guess what I'm saying is, I don't really understand what you want. You're not just out here to feed people, are you?"

The train station was in pretty sorry shape. Being told that there were flayed unicorns running rampant was one thing, but actually seeing herds of these creatures running about. They weren't small either. Each one was larger than a draft horse. As if to demonstrate their might, three of them pushed a train car off the tracks. It had been a while since Amber had encountered such strong monsters, and she was glad she was flying overhead. Anyone without wings was hopefully approaching from the rooftops. Amber doubted there were many magical girls who could survive being in the thick of so many beasts.

But Amber wasn't here to sight see, she had monsters to clean up. The pirate fired her cannon at one of the creatures. The cannon ball soundlessly whizzed through the air before burying itself half way inside a unicorn's back, causing it to stumble. It wasn't often Amber could hit a creature directly and not take it out. However, the unicorn was visibly hurt by the attack. Amber took aim again, this time leading her shot so that she could hit one of the demonic horses in a vital area. Her second shot bounced off the flayed unicorn's head. But not before caving in it's skull first. The horse promptly fell on it's side, where it disappeared under the rest of its herd. One down... under a hundred to go.

Amber was able to maintain altitude by careful use of her water magic. After a few shots, she would fire her cannon at the ground to produce some lift. The sheer force it left her cannon was enough to make her soar upwards. Her ability to maneuver with the wings alone was somewhat sloppy. They were sails grafted onto her costume, not true wings. Otherwise, this seemed like a relatively safe way to attack. The unicorns didn't seem to have any way to attack at range, so Amber was safe in the sky.

The pirate was getting a little close to the ground, and was ready to lift herself back up to a higher altitude. However, some of the flayed unicorns had taken an interest in Amber. With a mighty jump, one dove off the ground and threatened to pierce Amber's chest with its single horn. The pirate swerved to evade, but the massive body of the monster hit Amber's wing, causing her to spiral out of controll.

“May day! May day!” Amber shrieked, nearly losing her familiar on her way down. Her landing was less than graceful, skidding across a pair of steel rails. She was able to swiftly recover however, using her momentum to tumble to her feet. Every once in a while it was nice to be small. But now she was on the ground, and one of her wings were damaged. Just a short pirate surrounded by big, intimidating unicorns.

“Any ideas Amber?”

“Well...” Some of the unicorns slowed to a stop, cautiously inspecting the grounded pirate who had been firing on them. “Just one.”

“Really?”

“Yup.” She turned her back to the unicorns. “We run like we're being called for dinner!”

Helga whistled a happy tune; she was sweeping with a broom to clean up the deck of the airship. Since she couldn't be down there with Amber to assist her in fighting, she decided she would do her best at the home front; cleaning, cooking laundry, she would make sure Amber would return from her arduous work happy. "And then she will thank me for being so hardworking, give that cute smile of hers...maybe even give me a little kiss...Aaahhh~" She spoke to herself, not expecting anyone to hear high up above the city. "Wait, does that make me a, housewife? Well, I would need to be married first..."

”Well met, former scare. Thou art friend of Sea Scare, are thee not?” Helga could hear a voice. Where it was coming from was unclear, but she knew she was the one being spoken to. ”I am Boteg. Sea scare hath talk of me before. Methinks Sea Scare is in trouble, and mayhaps thou can help her?”

Helga's teeth chattered when she heard Boteg's intimidating voice, and clutched her broom.
"What? Amber's in danger?" She looked down to the city, and bit her lip. "But how can I help her? I can't transform anymore...I'm no longer a mag-uhhh, a 'scare'."

The dragon chuckled. ”Thou art only need a pact, aye? If thou art willing to serve me, thy power could be restored, and thou mayest become a scare again.” Even though Boteg wasn't in the room with her, Helga could feel the dragon's magic in the room with her. It was as if Boteg was already anticipating her answer. “What say thee, former scare?”

Helga pondered the Patron's words with puffy cheeks. Would she want to risk her life again? Is she ready to possibly face Justine, whom she betrayed. There was only one answer.
"Ok...what do I have to do?" Helga asked. "If it's for Amber, I'm willing to fight again!"

”If thou are willing to serve thy lady, thy consent is all me needs.”

As swift as the pirate was, her enemies were numerous. After a considerable about of running, she found herself cornered against a brick wall. Her broken sails wouldn't permit reliable flight, and her cannon could only ensure a kill on one of the flayed unicorns at a time. Her opponents were cautious, wary of her power but also understood she was cornered. They took slow steps towards her, ready to dive in when they were in range.

“This doesn't look good Amber.” Sue was looking around nervously.

“Well...” The pirate swung her cannon around. “If you get out of this mess, tell 'em Shining Scale went down with love on her face and a smile in her heart.”

“Isn't it-”

“Don't pester me!”

Amber's shout startled the unicorns into initiating an attack, on all three sides, they lowered their heads and attempted to skewer the pirate. It was a troublesome scene to be sure. A wall of horses and horns closing in on all sides.

Just when all seemed hopeless for the pirate girl, the evil equines brayed in pain. They fell to their sides, hit with a powerful blow. When the dust settled, Amber saw a familiar-looking girl; she couldn't mistake her big, silly grin. "Get your hooves off my Lady! Only I can penet-I mean, justice has been served, hee hee!"

“Heh heh!” Amber didn't know why she was laughing along, but it did help her regain her composure. “Boteg, you've got some explaining to do.” she said with a smile.

”In time, Sea scare.”

There was definitely more important things to worry about at the moment. There were still quite a few of those creatures running around. “Alright Helga, let's try to get to higher ground.” Amber and her companion circled around the train station to find a way up the building. The unicorns had proven that they could be quite athletic, but it was their large numbers that made them difficult to deal with.

Way to come on strong, Helga.

Welp, this was the the moment when Tonya was going to have to shift gears a little bit. While harassing Beacon was good and all, the bigger threat to fate was the completion of Justine's plan. The bloodicorns were clearly agents of father, and minnie would be showing up any second. It bothered Tonya a bit that she was going to have to help Beacon crush one of their adversaries, but even Tonya wasn't so dead against Beacon that she'd let Justine remove all love from the world... however that was suppose to work.

And because Tonya was in a particularly good mood, she'd help Amber avoid avoid getting pwned too bad, at least for now. While she was close to the end of her thread, there was still much she had to accomplish before kicking the bucket.

Well, how can we tempt fate today?
The bates stepped out onto the street in their human guises.

“So what are we going to do on this fine morning?”

Regina lifted a hand to her chin. “We're without work again.”

Elroy raised an eyebrow. “Daytime isn't exactly the most active time for magical girls, is it?”

“Perhaps not.” Regina folded her hands together. “But everyone in beacon has fake parents that expect good grades. Most of them will be attending or getting ready for school unless there's a crisis. I can only assume our vampire friend is nocturnal as well.”

“Heh!” Elroy chuckled “So we're intentionally keeping a lower profile now?”

Regina lowered her head. “Sounds like we're giving up doesn't it?” She looked up at Elroy. “Once we find someone who can mentor us about the magical world, someone who won't also try to control us. That's when our luck will turn around.” She turned to look around herself. There were still a lot of people going to work. The roads would start to clear up in a few hours “We could split up with a much lower risk of running into something we can't handle.”

“Split up huh?” Elroy kept on smiling. “We can try that. I don't want to be on the other side of the city though if something happens.”

“Don't worry, I've already taken the liability of sketching up patrol routes for us.” She handed Elroy the drawing pad she had been scribbling on earlier.

Elroy flipped through the notepad. “Seems like you also sketched up everyone we encountered yesterday.”

“I thought it could be useful given your... unique way of profiling people. A picture is worth a thousand words. I on the other hand should be able to pry whatever I need out of their minds.” Regina turned around to leave. “Let's meet back here in an hour. If you need to get a hold of me sooner, you can always follow my route in reverse.”

“Sure thing, boss.”

And with that, the two split up.

Seems they weren't quite ready to take Veronica's deal yet. Well, they made the metal Penny requested, and she got paid, so that was all she really cared about. Just because she wasn't on good terms with Beacon didn't mean she was going to get turned into a mint dog all of a sudden. She barked for fate and no one else.

Shannon would soon see and hear a familiar aura. It was one of the auras she felt on the day of the hospital attack. It was difficult to say where the entity creating this aura was coming from, but they were getting closer. One advantage to the open field Shannon sat in was that whatever it was, she would most certainly see it coming. Provided she didn't feel it moving across the earth.

A short time later, a handsome boy in casual cloths entered the empty field. Such a broad. The wind blew through the empty plain, tussling his hair about as the boy drew closer. His hands never came out of his pockets. One of the first things to come into focus was his smile, which bordered between sincere and sarcastic.

“Whoa!” Elroy stopped about ten feet away from Shannon. “I heard something about a buffet, I was not expecting haggard cosplay to come along with it.” While this individual seemed rude and a tad menacing, Shannon's instincts told her that he wasn't here to fight.
Well we can't ALL fight the unicorns, can we? There's a beacon waifu that needs finding and all sorts of other things amiss.

Speaking of things amiss, I should have a Bates post up soon. Might come along with Amber's depending on how things go.
Maybe not Elroy and his flirtatious ways, but fair point

He does it to troll mostly, but yea, it's backfired a few times.

Or has it?

There we go, a Shannon post. Anyone feel free to meet her as she put out a message through her Puchuu that she'd like to talk.

Anyone?

C :

In order for anyone to go yandere, Penny or Thalia would have to actually give attention to other magical girls. Of all the reading I've done, they've only had eyes for each other. Except for that one part in the last RP where Penny makes a mental note that Alicia looks cute. Elroy has made more advances on Alicia than Penny has, so I think everyone is safe.
@Aewin

We like the new kid.
