Central District - Sharehouse

"That'd be lovely" Aya replied to Atsushi. Despite his appearance, he was always a shockingly nice man. She entered the car. As capable as she was on her own two feet, the danger of the night still made her feel a touch unsafe. Plus, she was easily carrying a ju man worth of camera equipment. Probably even more thanks to her DSLR. The film camera was practically worthless in this day and age. "It looks weird when an ojisan picks up a girl at night."

Before he could quip back or rebuke her, Aya was already in the car and putting on the seat belt.

"Weird day today." She made an effort of small talk. "Chased a girl with auburn hair across the western district. She didn't even have shoes on. Got her restin' in a cafe after she collapsed. A bald ojisan picked her up after a while."

She'd get a taxi home, that was for sure. She didn't feel like walking back, especially even later in the night.

For a mere moment, they were caught off guard. Locke wasn't suicidal enough to try anything with arrows trained on him, though the thought of using his bindings to shift the aim of the archers towards the back of their heads was something not off the table. Fortunately, such an effort didn't need to be made. One of the savages, the lizard, barreled through who knew where and slammed right into the commander that pitifully slapped the womanly, human-looking lizard. Then, a blinding flash of light. Even though Locke stared directly at it, he wasn't blinded. No, it wasn't like the flash that heralded the girl. It was much weaker than that.

The two lizards formed a great meat wall between spears and himself. That would be appreciated, if not for the fact that acting as a shield was the bare minimum they could do. With Serafaye oh so bravely walking into spears, her part as a meat shield became apparent. The snapping shafts made it apparent that she was different to the others. Most people would be impaled, or at the very least, deflect the point. With a wacky looking punch, she sent one flying. She wasn't an invalid at all. No, she was more than that. She was a brute who could charge through an army by windmilling her arms. Probably. Locke was willing to test that theory. Serafaye herself, maybe not.

Well, it was his time to do something. By that something, he commanded the fairy of air to do something cruel. With a quick wave of his finger, the fairy went to work and compressed the air around the remaining soldier's heads. It was barely noticable, nor did it cause any harm. Instead, it silenced their voices from distant. No longer would they call for help.

Well, that was the theory, anyways. Locke never actually had a chance to try it before, so he didn't really know if it would work or not. Better to experiment with a massive meat wall in front of you than with an angry barbarian charging you down.
There is a normal human population in Other-Tokyo so organized crime is a possibility. Or they operate in the real Tokyo?

The idea of cross-dimensional Yakuza is hilarious to me.

What I sorta had going on in my head is that the Saejima family is pretty much one big family, but the two sides don't really know of each other (since the majority are just mooks). Only the really high up people with the witch blood actually know that the two sides exist.

In the real world, they'd do standard criminal shit and are more or less just organized crime. In the other world, they're more tolerated by Black Babel and the general government apparatus because they do work against other crime syndicates that try to cause actual harm to society. IE, they might extort businesses and do unsavoury things, but they also work to assist Black Babel and push out the gangs that are greedy and hinder the anti-vampire stuff. Also the idea of having an underground organization work with the government was always neat to me.

Well, that was something. Her roommate instantly dumped a pile of trash onto her bed. Did... Did she sleep like that? On a pile of foul smelling fasteners? Even if they were related to a quirk in some way, that didn't mean she should just make a mess. It wasn't like she was going to use it any time soon. She was making a mess for no reason, wasn't she? It took a bit out of her, but Yoru didn't snap. Rather, she covered her mouth with a hand, closed her eyes, and took a deep breath. It wasn't worth it was her mantra. She chanted it in her mind, trying her best not to cuss out Haruhi. It took even more willpower to not pop off when she made a mess of the floor.

"Eh!? Of course I've had sleepovers!" Yoru instantly replied when asked. Her sweet tone was still there, sounding more like she was making a joke rather than actually getting offended. She was only getting defensive because it was such a dumb question! Yea, that was it. There was no other reason why she'd respond so quickly. Rather promptly, Yoru had a hand pointed towards her. It wasn't good. Really, it was as if someone directly insulted her. The complete lack of effort on part of Yano made her sick. But she had a reputation to gain. By god, she'd work her magic. Well, she'd actually need to perform a miracle.

"S-sure." Her sweet tone came, albeit with some shock in the inflection. She grabbed a nail file, cuticle pusher, and pick. She'd need to boil them later, but her own nails were good enough for a few days. It was time to get to work, and get to work she did. Fixing those cuticles, evening those horribly cut short nails, and getting as much gunk out as she could. Maybe she'd need to boil her hands after this. Maybe. It was like trying to fix a gorilla. Actually, a gorilla would probably be easier than that.

"Effortlessly," came the instant reply from Lilliane. "Anything that's not alive or a single part, I can dismantle. If you want me to collapse a building... It can be arranged."

Really, what she wanted to do was steal the closest vehicle and get the hell out. That was almost always the best coarse of action. Minimized loss, took the least amount of time. Nobody could outrun four tires. Though, these were stand users they were talking about. The possibility of a chase was always possible. If they had a tracker with them or a an ability to outrun a car, that could prove to be an issue. Well, if Taras had an idea of a plan, she'd at least hear him out. She'd prefer a plan that didn't put herself in harms way, but the current circumstances demanded a less cautious approach.
