Well, the decimation of the soldiers was fortunate. They posed no real threat, especially with so many bags of meat running them down. Seeing as the others already told the easygoing sow to stop asking questions and hurry up (albeit more politely), Locke saw there to be no point to tell her to hurry up again. It was time to head east. His fairy had decided to come back down and tell Locke that the eastern gate was mostly clear. Though, the accuracy of such words were questionable. Fairies were often massive pains in his ass, mostly on purpose.

The lizardman thrusting the blade deeper into his gut was just fucking stupid. In what world would someone just take a blade lodged in them and shove it in further? They could heal him, and it would be fairly effortless to do. Instead, he just had to press it in further. It'd be even harder to remove the blade and heal him now. If it had pierced his stomach, they'd have to deal with the acid trying to eat through the rest of his organs. Though, he wouldn't really expect a savage to have read a single book on anatomy. In any case, Locke took the first few steps and lead the group by a couple of meters east. If danger appeared, he could always just run back behind the brutes that could take arrows for him. Again.

He just stood there, menacingly.

After all, he really just wanted to leave the ruins. Get into the safety of the wilds once more, rather than stay inside such a dangerous place. He didn't feel like being summarily executed by a savage nation's military.

Well, she survived the selection. Unfortunate that so many others didn't, but her sympathies would have been nothing more than a nuisance to those who failed. If she apologized or reassured them, that'd seem rather patronizing, wouldn't it? Probably. Being told that everything would work out and it would all be okay would help from someone in the same position, but from someone who was selected? Rather rude.

Well, she wasn't exactly one for wasting water on a bath. It wasn't like that fight worked her into a sweat, anyways. She was just a little dusty. Dust was fine. It wasn't like a little dust killed anyone. Actually, weren't dust storms a thing? Those might have caused some issues. Well, not like it was important. She'd skip out on bath, not wishing to waste the time or resources on a simple bath. It wasn't like she smelled foul or anything.

She entered the room, assaulted by the general mess of having so many things in it. It didn't really feel like home. Too many things. It reminded her more of her extended family, with their rooms filled with luxurious crafts that flaunted their wealth. There was really no point in having any of it... It wasn't like you could eat mirrors and gold...

Despite being uncomfortable in the room, she went to her small bunk. On it was what little she brought: a pile of blankets. They were all well worn. Their craftsmanship had been great, with intricate weaves and designs foreign to even the most worldly collector, but they had since been thread worn until frayed. Not even bothering to lie down, Sanhan covered herself in those blankets and took a seat on her bed, her eyes closing and herself dozing off.

Oh, how she wished for a goat or sheep or rest beside.
not having this dorm sheep actually hurts

no more animals munching on sekhander's possessions

After a quick detailing of his plan to get Chloe out, Lilliane couldn't help but take issue with it. Based entirely on the fact that Chloe seemed to unwilling to leave the civilians, making a hole for her to escape would most likely be ignored until the civilians were safe. That meant, for better or worse, she was staying and fighting that thing. At the very least, she'd give her some assistance. Buy some more time. She took one last glance at the inside of the cafe, committing it to memory. This was what she had to work with.

"Tell her to her back against the wall when she looks ready to leave," she told Kiara and Taras. She wasn't exactly in the business of shouting out her plans to her enemies, after all. Information was power.

With a quick dash to the building's behind, her mind began to calculate that snapshot. At the angle where she was at, her distance to the left and right... Adjusting for the thickness of the walls and height of the stage... It should have been there. With a fierce punch from her stand, its fist met brick as the two stopped in a brief deadlock. Still, the stand pushed on, more and more force building from within the single brick.

Then it fired at the back of dancer's head.

Probably.

Really, Lilliane had no real way of seeing through walls. It was a highly educated guess based on an eidetic memory. However, the dancer could have moved or swayed her head in the mean time. It might have completely missed. It also wasn't like she could look through the new hole she made, either. Not unless she had a stool, or something.
the chad thing to do in this situation is to swing around a cannon to just blast everything in a city block
No live animals.

If it's of reasonable size and nothing of questionable legality, yes.
