Bio

Back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth, I got started with writing online on the Spore forums. Man, those were the days. We're talking like 12 years ago 2010-ish!

I've been here on and off for almost as long, and have GM'd a bunch of different things to varying success.

Mine won't...

*hisses menacingly*

@Voltus_Ventus

If you want to just want for Hael I'm okay with that. I have other RPs to distract me in the meantime.

Otherwise I'm open to us doing something before the proper meeting, like having the Tsarina encounter Babur in prayer somewhere in a secluded spot of the palace. News that Babur just killed almost his entire family hasn't gotten around to anybody yet, so if the Ventians were to somehow discover or realize that the other royal people were all mysteriously dead, I imagine that'd put an interesting undertone on the meeting.

With the circumstances of the deaths so suspicious, I'd imagine that either they'd be nervous about crazy how crazy Babur and the Tinites are. Or at least they'd take him far more seriously. I imagine that this would alienate and create a wedge between the two factions, though there is the possibility of them approving of his purging of the decadent family members and removal of traitors. When the other Tinite nobles and such find out about this, some will be horrified but others will approve.

Of course, that's all just an idea. We don't have to go down that subplot or interact at all until Hael posts, unless you want to.

It's in Septimus Heap, ya, but it's also occasionally found in several real legends.

I think it may be common in Celtic myth, but don't take my word for t.

Celtic myths and rituals are strange on so many levels. Like how bestiality was a rite done to worship Epona...
In the time that this was on hiatus I went and got into a lot more RPs. I'd still be interested in continuing this if others are, but I wouldn't be able to post with as much frequency as before.

I'm down for a ghost town idea since Aurelius is a seventh son of a seventh son and in legends 7x7s usually are more susceptible to the supernatural.

Is that actually a common thing in legends? I thought it was specifically a reference to the Septimus Heap series of books.
@Cyclone @IrishAngelQueen Just a quick note that your demigods are currently rather low level, so their appearance being more human is ok (though I would have preferred they look more like something demonic) as their level rises it is necessary that their forms begin to increase in size and change into something very not human.

I will PM you about it
@Cyclone Orabil was destroyed and repaired with 12 Might

My bad
@Cyclone Yeah, but worshippers are something you'll be hard-pressed to keep ICly, Vestec is on your case, and all the other gods ;P

An nop, demigods don't get free points

I see now in the turn post. Also, accounting error: the CS for Orabil says that it was made with 6 Might, yet this turn it gave you back 6 instead of 3?
Well, you rolled 2. So I rolled again and it rolled 3. Think it would be unfair to roll another

Fair enough. I presume that I can increase this number IC for next time rather than just leave it to chance again?

And that brings me to another question: does Ialu get freepoints like the gods?

I'm skeptical that not one of them would by impressed by the invincible man that killed Viscardi and was thought dead, then returned from the grave and started killing things. Plus dared to challenge Ferghus to his face.

It's like I keep saying, the actual gods don't ever show up in person and talk to most of the humans. That leaves a power vacuum. Ialu is always right there and he's clearly godlike, so I doubt that it would be particularly hard for him to gain worshipers one way or another.
@Cyclone How many worshippers does Ialu have?

6,000 are under his rule and he's had that year-long timeskip to enforce their worship of him.
