Bio

Hi.

I'm an Interdiscplinary BA, searching for a job in the current market, and this site has been my introduction to role-play. I prefer medieval and/or sci-fi roleplays and am a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, RWBY, Fire Emblem Awakening, Superheroes, and Fairy Tail.

Apologies for not posting today. Been having a very hard time. Don't wanna go into the details but, I shall work on a post when I'm off work tonight and present something tomorrow. Once again, my apologies.

We understand. Take the time you need.

I don't think there's a "right" or "wrong" answer here. We have people posting at different rates.

In terms of what people can expect from me, I plan to keep at my weekly interval. I think, particularly for GM posts during an event, having consistency allows for people to plan around. If you know the GM is going to post on Monday, then if you want to get a post in the current round you know what to expect in terms of when the GM is going to advance things.

Thanks.

I just think it feels a bit choppy roleplaying wise to wait too long when someone's talking directly to your character and you're both waiting for the next major event in the sequence. But it's like post too quickly and no one else feels like they're getting a turn, post too slowly and you're suddenly having to account for every interaction your character should have reacted to at once and it paradoxically slows time down to a crawl.

No no. Wraith apps characters so he can world build then he gets so bogged down in that he loses interest for the character.

And his worldbuilding is amazing. I suppose we'll just trust that Clark is having a great time in Warworld until he comes plunging down to Earth at the right moment.

“When I am your Mayor, I will be working closely with Commissioner Henderson and we will be drafting a Vigilante Registration Act. If these people want to uphold the law, they will do so while wearing a badge and under the scrutiny of the people. Not by hiding in the shadows or through exposés. Who elected Thor?” Lionel yelled, met with a chorus of agreement as the crowd began to engage with the mayoral candidate.

“Crime has in fact risen in Metropolis since the appearance of a red-hooded hero. Instead of helping our fair city, he’s proven to be a lightning rod for trouble. As of this moment, I am calling for the immediate arrest of Thor and am putting out a reward. A thousand dollars to anyone who provides a tip that proves useful regarding his identity, a million to anyone who can bring him in.”

Well that escalated quickly. Gee Thor, you miss one lousy boat job and now we're all suffering for it.

Can I presume this is happening at the same time as the Fire Troll attack?

And once you're done with preparing the hot dog you put it in the bin.

Seems we have a true barbarian in our midst

Oh, I've never tried those. Only the green/herbal ones.

It's definitely worth a try.

Just don't do Lipton, that's not even real tea.

Tetley or Yorkshire is the way to go.

Black Tea + Ginger + Lemon + Honey is the perfect elixer for me when I'm il

Black Tea + Cream + Sugar = Perfect Cup of Tea

Hot Water + Lemon Juice + Sugar = Perfect Elixir when Sick

Lol I've managed to drink some forms of tea when my immune system demanded it, but it was certainly a battle.

I do mostly mean black/English Breakfast tea over green/most herbal teas.

It's those country folk. I'm from the South and I've never understood white gravy biscuits or sweet tea(really any kind of tea).

Hey, hot tea can be great!

My parents somehow are a fan of biscuits and gravy and I really don't get it.

You smell... British.

Thank you, but I am actually American.

Southerners are weird. I do not condone their kind. They make sugar water and call it tea.

It's more the fact that they regularly drink sugared iced tea that's the problem. Sugar and cream in regular hot tea is the best.
