By which i mean, i'm just making food, then i'll port over a bunch of my Green Lantern story to allow for a good jumping off point. I'm gonna aim for 1 post per week, 1 week Shazam, 1 week Lanterns. I think that's a decent and sustainable posting schedule.
We could certainly talk about one of the Martians getting a ring sometime. Whether one of the established ones (Le'i would be a good candidate for rage while Ash'r I would have put as a good Green Lantern candidate if Guy Gardner wasn't already taking that role) or we create a new one for your storyline.
I do have all these Martians set up. I want to have some payoff with them.

Tamaranean physiology converts solar radiation into energy into superhuman strength, speed, durability, endurance, agility, stamina, flight, temperature/radiation immunity. Members of the royal family are notably stronger than the average Tamaranean, and have the unique skill of language assimilation through limited touch telepathy most often initiated by lip-to-lip oral contact, but can be initiated through any skin-to-skin contact. ◼ Experimental Genetic Enhancements After years of work, the High Evolutionary's genetic experimentation yielded a host of desirable enhancements to Kori's natural Tamaranean abilities including nigh-invulnerability, the ability to release stored energy in the form of "starbolts", and enhanced metabolic healing which greatly enhanced her longevity to that of the prehistoric Tamaraneans. -

If she sets her mind to something, unless you come to her with facts and logic that make sense, you're unlikely to change her mind. ◼ Caring Nature Kori is deeply empathetic and has a naturally caring nature toward most beings, both sentient and animal. She finds it easy to bond with even the most prickly and difficult animals, and most people find it hard to truly dislike her sunny disposition even if she can be too blunt at times. -

Tamaran was a peaceful planet, a tropical oasis of plenty where no one wanted for anything. Koriand'r lived a happy life as a middle child with two close siblings until the Gordanian invasion laid waste to her home planet. The war left the planet barren, and the Tamaraneans struggled to hold their ground. When it became clear that defeat was on the horizon, the king and queen were offered an opportunity they couldn't ignore. The High Evolutionary - a man with whom they were wholly unfamiliar - promised to take their two daughters in order to save the royal bloodline. It was their best hope, and so they bundled up the girls and sent them away with the hope that their survival might one day bring about a new Tamaran on another world.
However, preservation was not of interest to the High Evolutionary. What he was interested in was their innate abilities stemming from radiation absorption. For years, he pulled them apart and put them back together, mutating and editing genes until he got the results he desired. His ideal for perfection was so close he could taste it. A perfect race born from the Tamaranean royal bloodline seemed achievable.
There were others with their own desires who sought out the High Evolutionary. When the citadel ship, Wundagore, encountered the War World, he made a deal that preserved his freedom, but cost him dearly. He agreed to give one of the sisters as tribute. Chaos ensued as they tried to separate Koriand'r from her elder sister, Komand'r. Koriand'r was ultimately able to escape in a tiny pod that was so small it couldn't be tracked. However, she lost her sister, who she presumed was killed during their struggle for freedom.
Her story truly begins when her escape pod lands on Earth near Metropolis as she grapples with grief and newfound freedom on a totally foreign planet.

I've said it once, I'll say it a million times: DC has done my girl Kori dirty more times than they've done her right. There's so much good backstory to work with, and she often gets turned into a flat, airheaded sex object. Where's the exploration of her trauma? Where's the depth of emotions? When I decided to throw my hat in the ring and see if I can't do better, all I could think of was that Thanos meme: "Fine. I'll do it myself." I have several somewhat interwoven plots I'd like to explore, but I'm also an incredibly collaborative person, so I'm very open to joint plots with other characters in other cities/areas/planets/etc. Below are my preliminary notes of the plots (in no particular order) where her past comes back to haunt her:
◼ Tamaranean Liberation Kori is drawn back to Tamaran to facilitate the liberation of her planet and return her people to their rightful home. The question that remains: will she stay and rule, or will the royal bloodline's control over the planet end with her? ◼ Sister Dearest What happens when a sister born to be queen is turned into shattered version of herself and dropped into the gladiatorial arena of the War World? She prevails, of course, but love has soured leaving a mind warped by violence and resentment that believes only in winning, in superiority, in revenge for her sister's betrayal and abandonment. Blood will be spilled, and a winner will prevail. ◼ I Never Stopped Looking For You What became of Kori's little brother after the High Evolutionary took her from Tamaran is a mystery. She'll never know peace until she finds out, but it's a big universe, and the few Tamaraneans that escape annihilation are scattered amongst the stars trying to survive prejudice and poor conditions.
Looks good to me. We'll be waiting for @Half Pint's review and the 48 hours to see if you're uncontested for Starfire or not. But otherwise, welcome to the RP!

There is always time to shore up things and make sure the foundation for these in-universe lore is maintained and I think @Half Pint should consider a section of the OOC devoted to events that unfolded to the RP that are canonized (as well as characters). I did this with my attempts at shared comic games almost a decade ago and it was one of the good things about those games I hosted.
That does seem like a good thing to consider, especially with the characters that have left that actually left effects on the rest of the story.
I've taken some time at work today to think this over and I think it's in my best interest to also withdraw from the roleplay. Godspeed you crazy bastards.
Considering your last Gotham Academy post was over three weeks again this feels less like a solution and more like just replacing the person not posting as Batman with a different person also not posting as Batman.
Also I'm a no for a game discord, I can't farm laugh reacts in chat.
In general though I don't have a horse in any race, really. I've been completely non-interactive the whole game, and I have one more post to finish until Absolute Hellblazer is complete and I'm left trying to figure out what I want to do, if I want to do anything anyway.
To be fair with King Kindred, the reason he's stalled with posting Robin is because he's collabing with our Batman player on the Robinson Park post. And there's only so much he can do with Gotham Academy Detective Club members while Robin's not around.

@Half Pint I will be withdrawing from the game. As I did not interact with anyone, I will edit all my posts to redacted status.
While I have enjoyed writing my characters and fleshing out the world, I likewise can't abide such a hands off approach to GMing or the inconsistency in enforcing rules stated in the OOC. Likewise the 'ardent compatibility issues of personality' have led to far less enthusiasm to continue pushing forward with the game.
Please consider both Superman and Iron Man to be available for new applicants.

We have enjoyed your storylines, but if you feel that you're not compatible with the game, then I can't persuade you otherwise.
@Cyrania I'd have rather we had hashed out the potential Gala date before you posted IC content, I know we had briefly touched on it but it hadn't went anywhere.
Also Harry isn't young and prone to puppy love he's in his 30s, same as Peter

Honestly, I did make the post so that the stuff that could happen before the Gala date was towards the top and the stuff that's definitely the Gala date was only Benjamin and Manhunter's sections. So Cay'an's section certainly doesn't need to happen the day of the Gala. But I could adjust things to make that more clear if wanted. Or just take out her section entirely and then we just have Norman and Cay'an enter the gala together.
Also to her, Harry in his 30s is still potentially the 'puppy love' stage as she's vaguely aware that Earth years are half Mars years and she's also including any sort of actually wholesome, devout love between two people as puppy love and figures that Harry is more likely prone to that than Norman. Again, I could also just delete her section though if it's causing too many issues. Or go back to edit and remind myself to not write future posts between 10 pm-midnight.
