Laharl's fists cracked as he clenched his fists so hard they went white 'NPC...' gritting his teeth he started to growl a bit, furrowing his brow and glaring hot daggers at the audacity of Mao's insult 'Official Overlord business...' the boy felt like his blood was boiling, Laharl visibly red-faced with a palpable fury growing.

He took a step towards the other Overlord and poked him in the chest "Listen up you foureyed nobody, call me an 'NPC' again and I'll kill you." even if he was a small fry his eyes spelled bloody murder, yet something seemed to be holding him back.

"If it weren't for these idiots, I'd have killed you by now." he barely looked at the rest of Team Yellow as he sneered at Mao "Believe me I hate working with these rejects as much as you," his tone became less harsh, looking at the other Overlord with an imperceptible nod "Unfortunately it looks like we're going to have to work together." now it was his turn to get the last laugh, to lay his final blow on the bespectacled demon before him and that he would as he added "As equals." the blue haired demon also offered his famous evil Muhahahaha! adding salt to the wound left by his last two words, Laharl crossing his arms had a vile grin on his face while he let the words sink in.

@Potemking Oh this is going to be a fun time, I hope our goal align in the future. Although this may just give Laharl another reason to let his pride get in the way and leave the team itself, he doesn't have as great an understanding of teamwork as Mao and it's starting to grate on him that nobody except animals are the only things that don't diminish his over confident facade.
