THE DUNGEON MONSTER RP

Deep in the caves of the old dungeon known only as Everdark, it's denizens thrived oddly in relative peace that is until some pesky intruders killed a good number of the population in it's dimly lit halls. Now there are but few left in the wake of the massacre, most others fled but a few stayed behind unwilling or simply unable to leave their home behind.

Now it's up to you, whoever or whatever you may be to pick up the pieces and either rebuild Everdark or die trying but hopefully somewhere along the way those pesky adventurers will get their comeuppance at your hands or anothers.

So will you, the last of the surviving denizens of your once peaceful home work together, and unite as a team to rebuild what is left of the dungeon? Or will your hunger for power lead you against your fellow denizens?

Everdark was home to all sorts of monsters, from big to small as it's halls stretched long into that of the Depths; the realm of the dark elves, whom long traded with the leader of the dungeon, however during the chaos of your homes ruination many of the dungeons strongest denizens perished leaving very few powerful magic-users and even fewer great warriors among the survivors.

Name: You know, it's that thing people call you.
Alias/Nicknames: It's the thing people call you behind your back, right?
Race: Anything within reason, this is a fantasy RP not a sci-fi RP. Please not a few of the races traits, such as a tough hide or even the ability to see in the darkness.
Gender: ♂ or ♀
Background: A little bit of information on your characters life here in Everdark or wherever else they came from, it needn't be long just a paragraph or two.
Personality: Describe your characters various likes and dislikes, any fears or flaws they may have as well as any other characteristics you can think of to pretty much explain the eccentricities of your little monster brains.
Appearance: A picture of your character or a written description of what your character looks like, whichever suits you best.

Skills: Start with one combat skill and one non-combat skill.

• Combat Skill: It can be mundane or magical, within reason of course.
• Non-Combat Skill: It could range from herbalism to alchemy, or any crafting skill and it could also be a learntto skill like taming wild animals.

Possessions: Any items, clothing and equipment you carry on your person.

• Be Respectful: Please don't start shit here or bring your out-of-character conflicts into the game, I won't tolerate it. Just try to be civil and cool to each other even if you find someone disagreeable or an opinion expressed disagreeable.
• Remember I'm GM: It is within my authority to make the final judgement of what is or isn't allowed, as well to eject people who don't follow the rules and cause problems for the roleplay.
• Writing Requirements: At least a few paragraphs, minimum of two because one-liners are not acceptable in the context of this roleplay. I'm pretty understanding of if your character doesn't speak very good, just make sure specifically your grammar is more understandable than an ogre's grasp of human speak.
• Posting Requirements: I don't expect you to be online every waking moment of the day. If your not going to be able to post for an extended period let me know.
• PvP/PvE & Death: Firstly in regards to player versus player, do not control someone elses character or deus ex machina the results of combat, both players need to come to a consensus on the end results fairly. In regards to fighting non-player characters just be smart it is unlikely you can slay a horde of undead by yourself but if your clever you just might. Lastly and most importantly you can and will die if your not smart enough to make it in Everdark, so keep your wits about you because enemies hide where you least expect and getting lost in the ever winding halls might just mean being lost forever...

Also once we've established who or what everyone is, you should ask yourself where in Everdark do you live? Feel free to do a bit of mini world building with the location as the dungeon is quite literally without end as it leads to the Depths (an uncreative name substitute for Underdark).

You don't own a swath of the dungeon of course, if you wanted to you could try but nothing will be easy for small-fry like you monsters.
