Unsurprisingly my mother is against genetic engineering. She can't even give me a proper Biblical reference why God might be against it.

Plus on the human side, "humans are in god's image, if we alter humans then ..."

Eehhhh... There's a lot more to it than that, but that's good enough. Best part of the story is when Set tears his body apart, and he gets every piece back and is brought back to life, but he didn't get his penis back and his wife gets pissed at him.

What are you guys' thoughts on genetic engineering? I personally am a proponent of it, depending on how it is done--for example, for several years now we have had goats that produce spider silk in their milk, which makes it much easier and cheaper to produce strong stitches.

I'm for it pretty much no matter what, as long as the changes are positive and not purposefully negative.

I don't know all that are. All I know for sure are that Yander and Mikial need to be replaced, and I'm going to take Osiris. A page or two back, Sven and David said which ones theirs are, but I still need to know who they replace numbers-wise, then I'll have a reference sheet which I can give here for everyone to use as they decide on theirs.
