I don't believe I'll ever die, but I hate time being wasted. The present exists to establish the future, not to celebrate the past. That's a waste of my life.
Season is determined by trauma and I've had much more than my years betray. I'm allowed to pine for lost youth.
The present is the only thing that exists. It's not for the sake of the future, that thinking will lead to nothingness, because the future never comes. You will never be in the future, you will always solely be in the present.
I believe that the general point of a graduation is to celebrate the accomplishments you've made, not the past, per say. Is it not?
If the human is powerful enough, he might even end up enslaving the demon. Or they could end up as legit partners. Lots of directions you could go with this.
@DarkwolfX37@Sawdust@Bloodtypesuper: You guys are the ones who already have accepted characters, so you should start thinking of posting something; some of you already have planned plot hooks with me. If you aren't sure what to post, we could toss some ideas around in the OOC thread.
See here's my problem and the reason I haven't made an IC post yet. Sorry in advance for venting my frustration at myself, since this is basically a rant at my own ineptitude. I can't possibly follow up after the amazing quality of the posts so far. Especially lately, where I can't seem to write as well as I used to be able to. I feel bad even considering following huge, flowing posts that are really, really good with a short and concise "this is what happens" that doesn't even reach half the length of it's predecessors or a third of the quality. 10 paragraphs where 6 of them don't even reach three lines worth of text isn't an acceptable contribution, and I can't seem to improve it enough to get it where I'm comfortable posting it. I'm in the middle of trying to create a post from scratch again, so hopefully I'll get something acceptable soon.
A lot of little things add up. The superficiality of these ceremonies really bothers me; I'm wasting my time in meaningless "celebrations" when I could be doing something productive with the time that brings me closer to death.
Sorry to any of you who are graduating and really love this. By I don't.
