Hey, you know what's annoying? Being self-centered. Getting mad at people for doing something instead of something else when they're just having fun sucks. Gotta love self-loathing, too.

Alright, well, also, consider the following:

Hekrom uses telekinesis, which halts no direction, no real conceivable magnitude, considering the hasn't been a study to prove there is, and that the literal definition of vector is:
a quantity having direction as well as magnitude, especially as determining the position of one point in space relative to another.

Uhm... You... you do know that telekinesis is a force, and force is a vector, right?
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

Hekrom could beat her, possibly even easily, if done right.

IN exquisite detail.

Ma'at's power is total control of all vectors that are within her five human senses all things being equal. THIS MEANS BASICALLY ANYTHING.

Let's examine what "all things being equal" means. This means that, if there is a situation where vector X could be within her senses given her current status, yet it isn't, she can still control it. For example: Let's say that she wants to change the locational vectors of a star. She's looking at the sky in the daytime and cannot see the star. Because, if she were in the same state she is currently in, yet an outside, changing factor is in the way, she can still control those vectors as if it were night and she could sense them with her sight. Because if all things were equal, day and night are irrelevant, making this factor null in reference to her power.
Let's look at all five senses, shall we?
Sight: Already covered. If her sight is unobstructed, she can control it. My favorite example of this is: If she looked at the sky, and there was a black hole within the area that she can see, even though there is no physical way to actually sense it with her sight, because it would be within her sight if all things were equal, ie there was enough light to see the lack of light from the black hole, she could control it. So at noon on any given planet, she could literally drop a black hole on you.
Hearing: This is fun to think about. Let's say that there's a machine that is vibrating, yet managed to make no sound. Since, if all things being equal, this machine would be making noise because of its vibrations, if that sound that would otherwise be there would be within her range of hearing, she could control the vectors of that machine.
Taste: Not really needing to go into detail since if she can taste it, she can sense it with her other senses too.
Touch: Same as taste.
Smell: If there's something that she cannot smell because it doesn't react with her physical sensors in her nose that allow for smell, but she would be able to smell it if she had the proper sensors, then she can control its vectors.

She could literally go up to Prism at the strongest he'll ever be, control the vectors of his power and energy so that its entirety is focused in one spot, and kill him with it.

She could literally beat ANYTHING if she wanted to, other than Osiris, who can only win because he was literally designed to be able to take away Ma'at's powers.

We've had the conversation before. Some of it is situational and depends on the execution of the ability. Others aren't, such as enthalpy and energy concentration, which, consequently, can form matter.

A canonical explanation for events that don't fit the style versus a dice and board game system with no explanation.

Literally all of these things can be countered because they have vectors. Location is a vector.

It's not a dice and board. It's just that between each universe dice are needed to determine certain things for that new universe. It'll be easy to fit in.

On the other hand, I know they're not actually the end-all be-all. On paper, they look nigh unbeatable, but in practice, they have weaknesses.

This defeats it even more.

Name two other than scalars.

It really doesn't.
@DarkwolfX37
Oh hey! Glad that this managed to grab your attention. We're definitely still accepting, so feel free to write up a sheet and send it our way. If you find yourself struggling, we don't mind lending a helping hand. The more the merrier, yeah?

@SheriffLlama
What a noble gesture. The rest of you could learn a thing or two about manners from this peep! <here's lookin' at choo, Allen>

They gave me AIDS and I loved it.
No, but seriously, mainly just waiting on Zoldie's opinion of them for now. Mouse is bae, tho.

@XxFellsingxX
Nah, doc! The fishpeeps sent a letter ahead explaining the whole deal. I couldn't read it, because it was written in fishpeople language, but it's the thought that counts! Feel free to take yer time, dude~ Life first.

It really depends. The main ones that get a character sent to a nice farm somewhere upstate are the ones on the banned list. Plasma isn't on there, but it's close. We'd really just have to see your idea fleshed out a bit, first. If you'd like, shoot the trio a pm with a description of how you'd like to implement it and what the charrie would be capable of, and we should be able to issue a decision before you spend your time on an actual sheet.

Just a quick question:
Would a toned-down, realistic version of Accelerator's power be okay? Assuming you don't know who that is, that means vector manipulation. I'm having a lot of fun coming up with all the problems that come with vectors being ignored. My favorites so far are that he has to move at shifting speeds to counteract a state of zero velocity and the fact that he'd be pretty much entirely weightless.

I'd like to know if it's worth fleshing out the ability before I attach a character to it, and I want to know if it's worth sending pms with the specs before I fully flesh it out.

Edit:
I'm at seven major disadvantages with even more minor ones and I'm not even to a third vector type. This is fun.

Edit Edit:
I HAD TO MAKE IT 33% MORE POWERFUL OTHERWISE THEY WOULDN'T EVEN BE ABLE TO MOVE AHAHAHAHAHA

Edit Edit Edit:
Oh my gods this poor person. Realism is evil.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

I feel like it's the opposite, personally.

<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

These kinds of things are really well suited for What-If Rifts.

Then you don't really follow how everything becomes a vector when actualized.

Ew. I want to avoid those as much as possible. They defeat the purpose of MR.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

This would be canon?

Yes.
You know I can never really appreciate Ma'at's powers enough. Sure if you look at it on paper, she's pretty limited, but then when you actualize things she becomes nigh-omnipotent and I love it.
If you're still accepting, I'd be very interested in trying to join, though my cs(s) will probably be much shorter than they should. I'm terrible at writing them. :/

This basically seems like a mix between the Heroes Rise choose your own adventure series, Raildex, and Deadman Wonderland, which sounds amazing.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

This sounds really hard to implement.

It really won't be if things go the way I'm planning. It'll be training because of Unity for the chars who enter.
