Hey, you know what's annoying? Being self-centered. Getting mad at people for doing something instead of something else when they're just having fun sucks. Gotta love self-loathing, too.

The IC is more important.

A) Nothing fucking happens in the IC.

collection of us 8-odd friends speaking with each other. If friends stop talking to friends, the friendship weakens. That can only be corrected by communication, not by continuing to weaken the friendship.

@Solaris So uh, the whole healing from stealing life force thing I get it. But it doesn't seem too practical. I mean would you just absorb people by touching them in the arm, would you actually have to kill them first?

The reason I'm asking is... say you got shot in the face. The healing is spontaneous yes, but there would be no way to pay the cost in time unless you had something to kill literally as your head is being blown off. It's not like your body will let you live and wait a few minutes until you kill something.

The only way I could see the power actually working is if you suffered a non-fatal injury, or you could use it premeditatively, other than that it would be useless against any killing blow.

I also am confused on how the immortality part will work

You see what I'm getting at? Besides, I don't think anybody would want to be in a five foot radius of you in the group if you ever get injured. Just saying.

Exactly. Thank you for that, I didn't think of the details earlier, so thanks for bringing them up.

@Solaris

That's why I suggested the extended mortality thing. As it is, I assume he can kill beforehand, but then does it stack? Is it two murders to survive two attacks, or is it a murder to survive for a certain period of time, or to survive fatal wounds in succession in a certain period of time, or...? And if it can stack, how high can it go? Can he just slaughter a city and survive a nuke? How much of a kill does healing a non-fatal wound cost? So on and so forth. Can we get a point system or something? Heh.
I feel like the karma-esque system would make sense, a one to one conversion or something.

If people posted, they would eventually get into the mood. It's a self-perpetuating cycle either way. MR is not an entity in and of itself, but rather the collection of us 8-odd friends speaking with each other. If friends stop talking to friends, the friendship weakens. That can only be corrected by communication, not by continuing to weaken the friendship.

Thank you.

<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

Thats stupid. I have work and home responsibilities. And irl friends.

Excuses.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

If MR moved only when people were in the mood, it would have never gotten off the ground in the first place.

If MR were the way it was in the first place, everyone would always be in the mood.

I'm not pissed because you went to bed, I'm just pissed that every single time I want to do something IC with you, you either ignore me, or you just don't respond.. at all. for months.

Every time I'm in the mindset to, you're not around, or you take 30 minutes to respond. I can't keep a character going that long, it has to be like a whole scene in 15 minutes or it doesn't work right.
@DarkwolfX37 It isn't legitimate immortality though, if I were to compare him to anyone, it would be the Wolverine without his claws and metal skeleton. Also, like everybody else, he can't use his powers if he doesn't do his sacrifice.

Hmm... Well, at the very least, if everyone else is okay with it like AcerRo said, I think he should still lose memories from head injuries that would cause memory loss in another person. Unless the healing is done like Orihime's or by rewinding time, the neuronetworks wouldn't heal into the exact way they were. Source.
@DarkwolfX37 Its too early to say that because I'm considering changing it back, The reason why I didn't necessarily like it was because in combat, anything physical wouldn't effect him because it would crumble on impact and even if it was going fast, most of the energy would be absorbed when the object was destroyed so it wouldn't really have an effect on him, and offensively, pretty much any strike from him would be fatal, that's what I didn't like about it, what I did like about it is the fact that since when used against people, this power would be pretty gruesome, so Lazarus would gain an extremely bad rep among the regular humans who lack powers

You just need a weaker version of entropy. Don't go insane like that, just lower the power output, especially to start out.

Serious immortality is way unfair though. Extended mortality maybe? Like fatal wounds have a grace period before they start to kick in or something. Harm takes longer before it actually affects him, giving time to heal somehow? A karma-esque system where the more harm he inflicts the longer he can go before harm to him takes affect, scaled by organism harmed and severity of damage done to him and by him?

Literally just switch out every instance of "show" with "story." The stupid pedantic scrutiny doesn't change the argument.

It absolutely does. There are plenty of manga I'd suggest that I wouldn't suggest the anime of, and vice versa.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

I did get to the basement. The plot twist was interesting, but not good enough for me to care about watching the whole thing. Furthermore, if it's that hard/long to get into, it's not a good show.

The show. Is not. What I'm. Talking about. Why is this so difficult? And it's not that you'll suddenly get into it at the basement, but by then.

Dark, I'm going to stab you in the chest with an ice pick if you dont answer me. This is getting beyond fucking rediculous.

Dude I went to bed.
