<Snipped quote by Double>

You could just have him speak normal.

I've already established him using Buu speak. It would be weird to suddenly change that for no reason.

@Double have Momo absorb an English professor and gain the ability of good grammar.

Momo doesn't know about the absorption ability. At the time I figured it would keep him from just absorbing all our enemies away and becoming stupidly OP in the process.

@Double Have him run off with Wain after the Raditz arc, and they can both come back as villains.

If Wain presents a good reason for him to do so... that might actually be tempting. I take it you're not planning to use Wain for much longer either?
I realize I need to post, but... ugh writing Momo's dialogue gives me migraines.
Yup, fight is a clusterfuck alright, and the fact that everything at the dojo isn't even happening at the same time anymore is only making things worse. Where's the cohesion, here? Instead we may as well have all the matches going on in their own self-contained universes! What if Momo got knocked to the ground, putting him right outside the Dojo? All the "DBZ time" crap would just go completely FUBAR, wouldn't it? This is what happens when you don't make sure everything that happens is happening during the same period of time. Your continuity becomes a house of cards just waiting to topple.

*sigh*

I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Feel like crap today and that's souring my mood. Also kinda lamenting my character choices quite a bit. I thought Momo would be fun to write, with the childish Buu personality and the cartoonish fighting physics. Turns out it's actually the exact opposite. You know how hard it is to write dialogue using the Buu Speech? Or how surprisingly hard it is to think of and describe the physics of a Majin's body? None of this is helped by the fact that Momo's main character arc can't actually go anywhere until Buu eventually decides to show up way down the line. Until then he's stuck in character development limbo where he won't have any real relevance until long after we all stop caring about it.
@King Cosmos This was one of the reasons why I suggested bringing in Saibamen.
@Rune_Alchemist Oh Rolfe's going to absolutely love this one. Might want to expect a heaping helping of humble pie at some point. Accepted.
@OGSG So... is Deathryuger (or at least the suit) available? Because that was my absolute favorite suit from the Sentai and I'm still bitter that Dino Charge just completely ignored it.
Sentient animals are a staple part of Faery Tales, and you’ve mentioned the big bad wolf multiple times. Would a talking, thinking animal be common in this world, or are the animal characters to be replaced by human personas?

There's no one answer for that question. It all depends on how the Fable in question is interpreted. But even if the latter option is used, such as the case is for Basil and Ratigan, the animal part of the character isn't or shouldn't be completely ignored either. It's not immediately apparent, but the mouse thing will still play into how the story of Basil and Ratigan play out.
@Weird Tales Assuming he can predict the attack. Momo's fighting style is cartoonishly weird and that tends to lend itself extremely well to being very hard to read and predict.
@Weird Tales@Renny

"What Momo ever do to monkey person?" the pink-skinned Majin demanded in a monstrous voice. He put his arms up, confident he could take whatever the tailed human threw at him. He'd lost entire limbs and chunks of his body before only for them simply grow back. So whatever harm this enemy could do to him was sure to end with similar results. It never actually got that fair, though. A different tailed human flew in faster than either of them had been moving and directly addressed the other. They knew each other! So they were plotting against Momo! At least... that was the conclusion the Majin himself came to, incorrect as it may have been.

"Monkey man can't beat Momo alone so brought friend to make fight unfair?" he didn't exactly wait for a response, instead the pink-bodied creature launched backwards, almost as if in retreat. But after a short distance his body suddenly contorted into a ball shape, after which he seemed to almost bounce off of some invisible wall in midair. The now-balled-up form of Momo flew headlong at the armor-clad opponent with the long hair. Whether the hit landed or not was irrelevant, if it did hit then Momo's form would immediately rebound over to strike at the other tailed human, effectively pinballing between them while still in ball form and picking up speed with each bounce.
Mostly the latter. Otherwise they would be considered a Fable. Mundane means being an ordinary human with no notable connections to start with.
