@Whoami seeing as @Out of Touch hasn't been on in 12 days should we just move on without them?
Naija

level: 4
day/time: day 2 - Afternoon
Location: Mama’s kitchen -> War Room
Interacting with: @Guardian Angel Haruki Frisk Dreemurr, @ZarkunAlice Harnick, @Holy SoldierCloud, @Etherean FireBanjo Kazooie, @WingsOfBronzeBartz

”We lost him? Darn it! Where the heck did he go?”

After bidding farewell to ms Mama she returned to the castle with the others, rather upset about this until she found out about the fact that Guil had apparently located the stolen items. Unfortunately the veterans were not being sent to get them, instead that was the job of a whole host of new heros, some of whom she had seen at mama’s (like the helpful lift giving cloud) and others she was unfamiliar with.

Naija approached the child who had for some reason been put in charge of the mission. In her experience a child in positions of power was a recipe for disaster, but she did only have a sample size of one. As a result she was a little concerned with the choice but assumed the council had used a fair and logical method of deciding who was in charge. The same one that had ended up with her in charge of a squad. ok, slightly less confident in their decision making skills now.

”Tiny human child. I have one vital piece of advice for you: never split the squad. You have to all stick together like glue in order to remains safe. At the very least be in pairs like Slayer suggested. Also try to stick to a plan once you’ve made it.”

Naija’s eyes were locked with Frisks, her tone deadly serious. Some of her maternal instincts had kicked into gear regardless of the child's hero status and she wanted to make sure they made it through this ok even if she couldn’t be there herself.

”Second of all, I want you to have this. It’s a healing fruit we got on our mission. Hopefully you won’t need it but take it just in case.”

Her advice delivered she reached into her inventory and retrieved the napple, handing it over to them.

”Finally, if i could ask a favor. If you happen across a belt and matching set off boots both featuring feathered wings, would you mind acquiring them for me? The thief somehow stole them off of me while I was chasing him and I would very much appreciate you retriving them.”

She asked this last part, a little sheepishly, of the whole squad. She really enjoyed being able to fly and so was hoping that the wings would be with the thief still, or had ended up wherever the soul had gone.

Taric

level: 1
day/time: day 2 - Afternoon
Location: Platform City -> War Room
Interacting with: na
Cooldowns
Bastion: 2/2. linked ally: none

Taric made his way to the War room with the others, taking his time while walking through the castle to admire its architecture.

When it came to the mission briefing room taric hoped his intrusion would not be distracting, he would talk with the organisers of these missions once they were less occupied with sending out a team and get himself involved. He intended to stick with Shantea, Steve and Jack and as none of them seemed to be on this mission at the moment he could bide his time in regards to getting out there.

As for the team itself, Taric was perhaps one of those less bemused by the child on the mission. After all Annie, one of the champions in the league of legends, was but a child herself, yet you would not want to be caught underestimating her pyromancy and giant flaming bear.

so hopefully this is still alive because I made a char. still a wip, I need to expand the personality section a bit more and obviosly there is the prior run in bit.

”Hmmmm"

Choices choices so many choices. She presumed knife ears probably wanted to go to the library. Lyminia might still want to check out the marketplace? She had no idea what the bloody goblin wanted, which wasn’t much of a change of pace. As for her:

”I could go for lunch right about now"

Hopefully the 3 areas were close together, she would rather not hang around in a library full of books she couldn’t read.

She vaguely listened in on the answers to Lyminia’s questions, noting the disinterest of the gods in people like them. A shame, but not unexpected. Then again there was the chiefs suspicion that one of the gods had something to do with their gifts, so perhaps they were watching, even if they weren't going to respond to questioning. Not that that gave much comfort, the gods watching her while she crashed and burned wasn’t going to get her out of any dangerous situations.

She was pulled from once again wondering which god might be responsible by the appearance of a new goblin who looked to be the same age as them. Pretty short too. She wondered how she got here.

”Hi there" she greeted them ”did ya wake up after us?"
Sister Sophia

Location: the Park - Quenched Forest Cinders
Talking with: Jin Sunrise @floodtalon

She hadn’t actually thought about the alias situation while she had been here. Far more pressing issues at hand she supposed. Considering they had given her the name of her rank/occupation sunspot was an odd alias in comparison. She wondered if it meant something somewhere.

”Sophia or Seraphim. Up to you”

She continued her steady trudging through the woods towards her destination as she listened to Jin

"Well I kill people for money. And fun. I think whatever religion exists I'm going to hell. So unless your religion is cool with pointless murder than no."

Ah, so he was an assassin, or perhaps a mercenary. His phrasing suggested the former. Useful information if this did come to blows. However she thought that maybe it might not, seeing as her religion wasn’t one of those soft ones that preached mercy and compassion. The Ecclesiarchy was very fond of fire and brimstone approach, she imagined Jin might fit in more than he expected.

”with pointless murder? No. But murder with a purpose? The destruction of the enemies of mankind, the purging of the corrupt and the inhuman from this world? From all worlds! ”

The woman's voice rose with a fiery passion through her speech

"Jin, there is no greater service to the Emperor than to destroy his enemies. From the battlefield to their most private sanctums: no-mater where they die every dead foe is one step closer to glory! Join me, turn your skills to a holy purpose and you shall be rewarded. In this life you shall reap the gains of humanity and when you die in his service you shall ascend to the Emperor's table to live eternal."

In the background Geromory become increasingly disgusted with Sophia's preaching.

”Join us Jin and save your mortal soul from damnation! Join me and we can end this charade of a tournament together. With out forces combined we can destroy the xenos filth and heretical technology that infests these ruins. Think to yourself, is what you desire truly worth trusting a machine that devours souls? How could such a device possibly not be evil? It will inevitably betray you and do something awful instead! After all, this used to be a thriving city, the most advanced in the world. Yet you must have seen it, seen the empty streets, the ruins. What if that device is responsible? What might it do if fed again? Tell me your desire Jin, tell me what you crave so greatly that it is worth this risk?”

She finished, panting slightly. By the time she had finished her raving she was almost halfway to the supply cache.
how big is the colony anyway. Is it basically a town near a colony ship landing sight, a bunch of small towns a la the old west or something else. I was thinking of maybe either making a character that is the colony's (meager) automated defense system or perhaps an alien trader that got trapped there. Knowing the scale of the colony would be useful in both those circumstances.

She paused in eating for a moment when asked about the Doctor

“She’s my aunt I think. Or maybe cousin. Our family tree is pretty confusing as a result of all the adoptions”

Realising this probably made no sense to them without more information she added.

“My grandmother Ambrosia Clemmons was a noble who started adopting children who lost their parents to disease and then encouraging them to become doctors when they grow up.”

Encouraged was perhaps a little bit of an understatement, it was highly unusual to find a Clemmons who was not involved in the medical arts in some way.

“She turned her manor near ze capital into a combination hospital, medical school and orphanage called the Ambrosia Medical Institute. She’s been doing this for years now, so you’ll find Clemmons all over ze country. Some of them have even started settling down and having children. So she is either someone who was adopted and thus my aunt, or ze daughter of someone who was and thus my cousin”

She finished explaining and resumed her eating, listening to what the others might respond until the commotion outside began.

“What is going out there?”

She wondered aloud, putting down her porridge and taking a step out of their little lodgings to investigate. There seemed to be some kind of confrontation going on between a rather well dressed woman (Althea was not much of a military expert and so was unable to identify the uniform even if she had seen it before)and a rather gruff man who might have been a Sargent. Or an Officer. Someone of rank anyway. Althea more or less ignored them both once she caught sight of the wounded and rushed back into the common room, retrieved her bag. It seemed that they were once again going to be interrupted during their meal by the appearance of injured men.

“There's some kind of confrontation and an injured patrol out there. Might have been wolfs like the ones that attacked us.”

She informed anyone who hadn’t gone to investigate themselves before hurrying back out and up to the circle of onlooking troops.

“Could one of you stop gawking and go tell Dr Clemons about ze wounded? I am sure your comrades would appreciate it if they got help as soon as possible”

She asked the soldiers in a polite tone as she stepped past them and very carefully skirted around the confrontation, which Finis had joined since she last looked, and went to help the wounded.

“I have medical training, who need help the most?”
