Current I'm tempted to say "I've lost better friends than you" to a lote of people lately. I'm not sure what I ever want to say to the better friends that I've lost, though.

Bio

Twelve years ago, I said something on this website that continues to embarrassing me to this day. I was a stupid kid, like most, but I've never quite gotten the taste out of my mouth. Anyone who knew me at the time can tell you about it.

I love this website. I'm pretty sure my phylactery is stored wherever the webserver is and a significant chunk of me will just disappear when it ceases operation. Until then, it comforts me. I should go to the hardware store and paint my bedroom walls with the same soft, brownish grey that the background color has been for the last twelve years. Some of my friends can't wait for the site to go offline but I don't know of any other places that offer the same sense of community.

I'm an omni-gamer. I like board games, tabletop roleplaying games, admire tabletop war games, suck at riddles, and have an absurd library of video games. Survival horror is basically my favorite genre. Otherwise I'm a fan of esoteric, occult bullshit and punk rock. But disco's cool. Disco is what humanity sounds like when it chooses to be happy. Between you and I, I'd like to hope that the days of my life can sparkle like a disco ball, accreting like sparks from a grinder held up against the unwavering dark of deaths own shadow. Burn baby burn.

You and I, we're gonna die. We should be friends first, though. Write some checks we can't cash and make eachother smile. Make believe for a while.

Just curious, could I have gotten away with Byrd's CS method?
Name: Miguel O'Hara
Superhero identity: Spider-Man (2099)
Age: 27

Appearance: Miguel wears a skintight blue outfit with red accents, including a ghoulish design splashed across the costume. Also, a spider-web pattern cape rests on his back. Unlike the original Spider-Man, there is no direct shape of a spider.

Brief History: Miguel O'Hara had been a genetic engineer working at Alchemex, a company intending to create animal/human hybrid soldiers for a profit. Entrapped by one of his employers, he was fused with a spider, gaining powers similar to Spider-Man before fighting back against the megacorporation. After a time he took the name of Spider-Man before being opposed by the Public Eye, a handful of heirs to the names of the original Spider-Man's enemies, and 'future' criminals. After a while he even developed his own Rogues gallery and engaged in several interdimensional adventures.
@Hillan, I'd say you too, but I thought you wouldn't count given how much we've been through together (same goes for Wraith I guess, and Gowi (who I'm in talks with now)).

@Blacksam3091 As well, even though I've only recently rubbed elbows in TT: DwF.

I guess @Stein should be here given I've seen a lot of her/his work but have never really talked to him/her. I've hoped she/he'd drop in or something sometime.

@Kirra, I think you're a kick-ass writer and organizer. I really admire your contributions to RPGN and love your aesthetics. I'd like to work with you sometime, but have never been sure what to do. That said, you're definitely out there enough to get my attention.

Also, I admire @Brovo's fine work in the Deconstruction series and Renalta, but am simply nowhere near his level.

@Ruby Did you misinterpret his curses as legitimate? He used to be a big-time whip cracker in a joking way.
How'd you meet?
More likely you'll see Spidey 2099 from me though.
Hello friends of mine. After scrolling down I want to play Waid's DD.
Megaman Why Roll? But yeah, if you're game I'm good to go.

Mario Yeah, scrounge up what you can and we can build a world.

Naruto See above. I'll have to look that New Generations thing up.

Also, I've never launched a 1x1 before. I find beginning them a bit awkward when compared to the usual sandbox style. Any tips?
For Megaman, I was thinking of having it be something along the lines of Mega Man 11. Following the outbreak of roboenza, the robot virus that sparked yet another robot rebellion, Dr Light began work on a superior version of Rock, one less susceptible to such viruses, and began work as a secret project labeled X for the possibilities. After ten previous fully fledged rebellions and attacks orchestrated by Dr Wily, the average person was more interested in fighting robots. The company Scilabs had begun development on an AI that would grant a robot free will. Using pirated versions of the AI project, the robot fighters began an underground fighting ring, decisively creating several champions. The Bot Battlers then decided to declare open season on the city's savior, Megaman, intent on gaining bragging rights.

I recommend checking out a chapter or so of Erico's fanfic Whispers in Time. Basically it lines Rock up with Asimov inspired robotics. Its neat. I could totally lead on this one if you'd want to play Rock or a few others. I could be a bit lenient on canon where you don't know. I only read the first four volumes of Archie, so we could work everything after that out if you'd like. This concept is inspired a bit by Battle Network, and I'd imagine some Pokemon style training for the opponents. Just wanted a slight change to the formula. Whattaya think?

As for Mario, you could take the helm. But would you mind allowing me to head a few plot threads when opportune. I don't really know how to just sit backseat, but I'm interested in what you've got to put forth. This seems fairly opportune for us two. Also, is 'Into the Pipes' on Fanfiction.net?

With Naruto I'd like to see what you've got. I'm at least inquisitive on what you guys have developed.
@Architect
@DeathstrokeSW
@Ruby, if I could ever get her to stick around
@Altered Tundra
@Lillian Thorne - A pipe dream
@DJAtomika
@Mr Allen J - My fault I missed the last opportunity
