So what I'm getting is, and I'm still reading all the material, is that everything is factory~esque and the overseers are like bosses? Something I also noticed is that there's no service type people, your butlers and such so what if there qasa facility that brain washed people by implanting slimes in them and made them loyal servants/ soldier
Lucius pretty much spelled it out. But, yes, Infactorium is a factory complex that is designed to house sixty individual factories (on paper) and each Factory is a self-contained Dominion of its creator, such as Faetalis's Factory is a storefront of a haberdashery that opens up to a warehouse of skinsuit trophies that are other player who bet their character build, and she won in GvGs, allowing her to craft their Avatars and Gear for her own uses with her Overseer.
Most Factories operate much the same, and don't generate much in the way of waste, and what little waste they do generate is recycled into their Factories, like Tungsten and Cormac can recycle scrap metal for slag, Mae and Gamma can recycle scrap food into leftover, or they go to Levia and into her Slime Hatcheries.
At it's prime, this was pretty much how it went. Cyberskeletons carrying unusable waste to Levia, and Factories working in their "boxes".
That isn't to say, you couldn't go with your ideas, but the slime infection idea does tread on Gamma's whole premise, and devalue it a bit, since she puts herself as mortal risk to do what your slimes would do for free.
Plus, it does go against Faetalis's Code of Conduit, which is to avoid inciting PvP against the Guild without the express consent of the Raid Council, to just go around mind-ganking people, as an Overseer in her Guild.
Penni Statton was born, 1933, in a traveling circus; the cordial affair of a gypsy woman and a tightrope walker. Born to the circus, equally as she was born of the circus, performance was in her blood and soul. By the time she could walk, she was learning to tumble and leap. By the time she could speak, she was learning to charm and misdirect. A troublemaker, through and through, Penni would don the mantle of the clown, and charm and amuse the audiences across Eastern and Central Europe for coin and adoration.
However, by her twenty-second year, Penni had developed a youthful wanderlust to learn more about the world outside of her circus, beyond the veil of the big top tent and the borders of the traveling caravan. So, within the borders of a big city, she could besiege a library of no small merit, and plunder its shelves for hours without end...
...until she came upon it. A book, sequestered in hole, no bigger nor smaller than it, in width and height, and naught but an inch short in length, so that it stuck out from the wall - as if, it were the almost hidden switch to a secret room.
And, in a way, it was.
Unbidden, the book entitled, to none but her, ‘Wyse’ opened Penni to the world she lusted to wander - a world of adventure and magic, illusions and bravery, and it taught her these things in return for her dutiful study.
Sinking her deep and deep into its pages.
In 1961, after six years of study, Penni Statton would go missing into the night, leaving behind the darkness and the spilled blood of the circus she’d been born into, raised by, and lived for.
Sacrifices for a, then believed, nobler cause.
In 2013, fifty-two years later, Penni Statton would appear in the middle of a family dinner in a small home in London, shy of her thirties, and pulled into the custody of the Clock Tower. Two years later, she would be turned over to Project: CHALDEAS at the request of Direction Fujimaru Ritsuka to serve in the Rayshift Project.

Magic Circuits Quality: [Rank B] Magic Circuits Quantity: [Rank C+] (Increases in the light) Magical Affinity: Light Magic Attribute: Illusion and Enchantment.
Minor Magecraft
Prestidigitation
At-will, Penni can create spontaneous, minor tricks of magic - sometimes a feather duster to clean or dirty, sometimes a bouncy ball to play with or distraction. However, these tricks are insignificant in this world, and disappear after a time.
“Chapter 1: Tips And Tricks To Wizardry 101...
Oh, come on, now. What performer worth her salt doesn't know her basic Prestidigitation? To splash a little dust here? To spritz a little sparkle there?”
~ At-will
Silent Image
Penni can create illusions of almost static images of anything her imagination can cook up, but it’s little more than a magical tapestry with looping motion. Easily as seen as it is seen through, but shockingly effective when you need to hide quickly.
“Chapter 2: Intro To Making A Silent Movie...
Let’s read... the simple power to create an illusion; though, one devoid of sound and sense, save for sight, for it needs only to be seen...”
~ 9/Singularity
Minor Image
Penni can create illusions that build off her learnings in Chapter 1, and can generate sounds to aid in her trickery, but she cannot create clear speech.
“Chapter 3: Much To Do About Soundscapes...
Oh, hey, now, we're getting closer to the good stuff. These illusions aren't perfect, but they come with a bit of sound to help carry the charade.”
~ 8/Singularity
Major Magecraft
Major Image
Practice makes perfect, and now Penni can create illusions that come with sight, sound, and can feel hot or cold.
“Chapter 4: Actualization and Temperature Control...
Oh, baby! It's time for some real magic! All five senses - well, only three. You can't touch or taste anything, but we got sight, sound, and temperature!”
~ 7/Singularity
Persistent Illusion
Building off her knowledge, Penni can make her Major Images run on a mental script when she isn’t around.
“Chapter 5: Script Writing 101
Now, this is what I'm talking about! Sight! Sound! Taste! Temperature! Smell! And, I don’t have to focus on it! Yeah, baby! Let's go!”“”
~ 6/Singularity
Permanent Image
The culmination of everything Penni’s learn in one spell, complete with all five senses at play...
It's eerily real.
“Chapter 6: Making It Once and Making It Stick...
It's a Major Illusion, but injected with a big dose of Elmer's Glue! It's not that easy to tear down, now!”
~ 5/Singularity
Wyse’s Grim Magecraft
Phantasmal Killer
Breached by Wyse’s Magecraft, Penni has learned to turn her friendly illusions into threats from her imagination. After all, the mind is the most dangerous weapon of all.
“Chapter 7: Fantasies of Premeditated Murder...
This can’t be right. Magic is supposed to be fun. I don’t understand. Illusions are fun. I didn’t mean to kill them...”
~ 4/Singularity
Weird
Dug in deeper, Penni can turn her illusions further out and strike at multiple people at once, and where crowds once stood, only bodies lie dead.
“Chapter 8: Imagine A Funny Scene and Knock ‘Em All Dead...
This isn't funny! Funny is happiness! I'm not happy! They aren't happy! They're all dead!”
~ 3/Singularity
Shadow Terrain
Losing herself, Penni imagines a safe place and from her mind springs a circus of shades and shadows - semi-solid attractions housing all her fears and nightmares - and in the middle of it all: a swirling pit of magic, where the big top should be, rooting it all together...
“Chapter 9: Starting From Square One...
Hello? Where am I? Wyse? Where did you go? I can't see you. It's so dark and lifeless...”
~ 2/Singularity
True Magecraft
Alter Reality
From the darkness, a glimmer of hope, an illusion like no other, expressed by one’s lost soul, desperate to be found and returned to the light. And, within this light, Penni can alter the reality of her Shadow Terrain to replicate the Noble Phantasm of a nearby Servant.
“Chapter 0: Carry Out a Noble and Imaginary Service...
I saw it, Wyse. The Root. I saw it like you promised. Oh, Lord save me, I saw it. Humans should never see it. I hate you, Wyse. I hate you. Where are you? Please, save me. Please...”
~ 1/Singularity
Primary Mystic Code
Wyse
Wyse Grim... such is the name of the man that penned the grimoire on the illusion of the False Goddess, Sivanah, and the lessons that she imparted upon her most disloyal of followers. For the most part, Wyse takes the form of an unusual grimoire - a thick, nondescript book with no title, no cover art, and no writing on its countless pages. However, Penni sees beyond the illusion, and can read what’s printed on its innumerable pages.
...and see his true form within.
Penni is rarely seen without Wyse, conversing with the book, as though it is real, and given its nature... perhaps that is not so unlikely, if one looks close enough.
Non-Magecraft Abilities/Items
Circus Training - Prior to discovering, or, perhaps, being discovered by, Wyse, Penni was just a humble, acrobatic clown girl with the usual dream to make them all die laughing.
Oh, the fun we had back then...
Clown Attire and Makeup - Once, a proud uniform of a spirited young girl... now, the disguise of a broken old woman... Beneath the make-up and fabric are scars of a once brilliant torch hacked away by the darkness until it was naught but a match...
Well I've been perusing the tab and I'm still getting a feel, but the slime race was my main thing I wanted
Slime race is perfectly acceptable. Faetalis's Overseer is a Nanite Slime, after all. She just doesn't have a CS, so you don't actually know her build.
So is there a current roster for positions within the factory? I kinda had a slime character similar to the cockroach dude in the anime, maybe a summoner or auch
In the current state of Infactorium, it's been completely scraped for raw materials and reconstructed into a specialized Dungeon for the current cast. As such, there is no open space in the Main Factory, because they isn't one, so you would be one of the Satellite Factories that broke off and scattered around when the Guild Hall was transferred from YGGDRASIL into the New World.
As far as character is concerned, what your race, build, and overall purpose of your Factory can overlap with another Overseers. In-narrative, Infactorium was tight knit and prone to constant collaboration, so there was tons of overlap.
If you really want to avoid overlap, you'll be better served by hitting up the CHAR tab, and diving into the cast to find yourself a niche.
I know that the game says its full but would there be an opportunity to submit an application for a future opening?
Depending on what kind of character you would like to play as, yes, room may open up in the future. It's still in the development stage, but there is a system in place to accept newcomers to the Factory. After all, Factory must expand, Factory must grow.
Eyyyy, it's up! The cycle starts anew. Faetalis can be difficult as hell to write at times. She's supposed to be one part conceited, two parts charming, and one part in the moment, which is not always conducive to an argument. But, the long and short of it is, Faetalis showing off the Realty-bending Power of her Crafting, as she crafted, literally, her IRL self as a onesie to wear in order to demonstrate her point of becoming Human, while staying a Monster in her new world order.
Because, Man is the real Monster.
Now, whether that point got across is subjective to the reader, and the character, but hey, I think I did okay, lol *toots own horn*
Y'all's turn, and I'm so glad to be able to say that again.
A silence would pass, as Faetalis left everyone to speak their peace, and voice their concerns of her plan. In truth, she was testing them - she had to. If she didn’t, they wouldn’t fare well in their new roles as “those that make decisions” and “those that execute decisions” at the same time. Fortunately, they were coming along at a stellar pace; even though a little hit and miss, they were well in line with her projections. They would make fine successors to her friends...
...replacements.
Sooner or later, she would have to face that fact. They weren’t coming back.
Wherever she was, they couldn’t follow.
“So many places to start, and so much to address. I suppose, I will start with the most practical of fears, and descend from there...” Faetalis says, clapping her hands together, “But, first, I want to say, I’m proud of each of you and your progress. This is what I hoped to see, when I named you my new Raid Council. The confidence to speak to me and against me in the same breath.” Faetalis beamed, her shark-like teeth clearly edged - one of her few android features, before she crossed her arms. “Now, then, to address the concerns of mutilation. Smother them, wholly and completely. I needn’t mutilate you to fit you in my Doll Skins. They are tailored to fit you, seamless, perfectly - such is my talent.”
“I would nary see one scale of your arms, Levia, chipped nor one scale of your wings, Gamma, clipped,” Faetalis says. “The skin you choose will fit you like a glove upon the hands of royalty. I assure you. And, it is that fit that I must urge you to take one, Cormac, Madame Mae. It is not to sully your form nor spit upon your Supreme Being’s gifts, but to elevate your own potential going beyond these walls and into the world of Humans.” Faetalis cast her arms to the sides, motioning to the racks of the warehouse, “These skins are those of the Supreme Beings that yours defeated. In combat. In duels. In sieges. But, these are there victories, and not yours. It is time they are retired, and the new season wear is made.”
Faetlis looked to Gamma, then Tungsten, before she continued, “And, it is for that reason, I would deny you all these skins as choices. I wish you not to forget the deeds of those that created you, but to honour their deeds by replacing these with new ones, earned by your victories.”
“So, look not to these skins for inspiration. Look inside you. See the form of the Human inside of you...” Faetalis says, standing over the crafting table, as she grew four more arms; taking thread and needle, file and scissor, and a stack of thin, skin-coloured sheets. “Inside each Monster, a Human lies - the core of their being; the darkness and guile that allows them to blend in and commit atrocities,” she says, sewing and cutting, hemming and trimming, “It sounds insane, but I urge you to look deep, and show me your innermost soul...”
“And, I will create the YOU that the world will see and come to love or fear. Monsters, as Humans, living among them, for weal and for woe.”
Faetalis would hold up the finished product, and it would swish like a paper-thin jacket, as she threw it out behind her, and put it on like one. It would suddenly envelope her, and the nude skin would grow out hair, nails, fingers, toes, tone, and define features, until a nude woman stood before them.
To the uninitiated, this young woman looked like she belonged in a tower - desperately awaiting rescue - and appeared fragile and afraid. To the unassuming, she was the goal of a long quest...
...not its final boss.
At least, until she bodily shivered, and sneezed, “Cold...”
As they "landed" from the teleport, Alice would stumble forward; her mushroom brain telling her that teleportation was forward motion, and the movement needed to be honoured. It didn't - but, how was she to know? Normalcy worked so much differently than Wonderland, and she was, until recently deposed by fire, the Queen of Diamonds. As she stumbled forward, however, she would nearly crash into a woman with hair that was mightily long and gorgeously purple, and noticed her concerned expression.
Alice didn't even notice the returning teleport of her allies, nor their wounds and burns, or even that they exist. How could she focus on them, when this angel made flesh was standing before her with her face scrunched up in such beautiful concern? Her eyes narrowed in worried focus. Her lips pursed in an anxious pout. Her nose --
"FOCUS!!!"
"YEEP!!!"
Alice nearly leapt from her skin, as Carroll barked at her. She was driving at the speed of Horny on Main Street, and missing every exit onto Responsibility Avenue. Shaking her head, she looked at the woman...
She bore the look of someone with something to say (not particularly to Alice, at this juncture, but still); a request to fulfill or a message to deliver, Alice knew not what her vocal intentions were - just that she had them. Steeling herself, Alice cleared her throat, and asked, "A-A-Are y-you o-okay?"
"Smooth, Alice..."
Alice meeped, hefting her Cursed Sword, and looking hella sus, as she whispered, "She's so pretty, Carroll..." Her Heavenly soft voice was a clear contrast to the Hellishly coarse voice of her parasitic companion, as he shot back, "Stay on task!" Alice failed her arms, before managing a stable salute, "Wah-Wah-Wah-What can I do for you, ma'am!? The Taskforce is at your service!"
She wasn't even official yet... but she did have a pretty official looking salute.
That would probably convince her.
Hopefully...
Despite being awkward as sin, Alice seemed to find her mark, as the woman did need assistance from the Taskforce about a Heavenly Strike... or, did she actually just wanna pass that message on to them? Alice really couldn't pick between the two, but she knew that this was something that caught Carroll's attention, at least.
And, what had his attention, duly had hers - that's just how parasitic symbiosis worked.
"Thank you, mila -- miss!" Alice says, in mid-fedora tip with her mad hat, before she stopped herself from committing a war crime this early in her new campaign, and booked it to hunt down the musician telling the tale of technique turned myth.
"The first stop in rebuilding Wonderland of Diamonds is acquiring that technique or the Demon Energy that its user generates when using it..."
"Mhm! Let's do our best! I just hope there aren't a lot of people..."
