"Brown, master of espionage."

Brenda said with a roll of her eyes. She slapped a hand on her hips, as she stared at Brown. Her opinion of the girl was... shaky. She didn't feel comfortable carting around a child... then she looked over to Otsana. Who definitely looked like the type that caused trouble. She wondered if it was worth it pairing up with the doctor... but, for now, she had to look at the bigger picture here. Those goonish Massacre Soldiers are going to raise a fuss, and Brenda hoped that the Doctor's gimmicks would be useful in the tournament. Long as she had a chance to see that prize money, she didn't care what it took.

Well, let's see, Brown yanked a goon with her ki-powered yoyo, and nearly strangled him to death. Perfect. Brenda had high hopes for this endeavor. Part of her just wanted to charge in with a burning right, and start tearing people up - but, she was worried that she would run into a Nomad-tier martial artist. Not that she was afraid, the last thing she wanted to do was get mobbed. While the people here showed promise... one thing Brenda knew in life was that she had to rely on her good old fists.

Not other people.

Brenda stepped up, and pushed Brown away. "Let me handle this." She pinned the man against the wall with both arms coated in thick stone. The stone pounded into the wall to attach Brenda and the goon to it. She stared him in the eyes as he regained his composure. Though, he was probably terrified right now. He should be. A woman that was taller than him had him pinned to the wall with stone.

"Ssssssssh, honey," Brenda said with a thick accent. "Don't scream, this will get a lot rougher than it should be." She tightened her grasp, causing cracks in the wall.

"We know your little plan, so don't bother playing stupid," Brenda told him, as the stone around her arms started heating up. Almost like lava. It was a threatening display as she leaned in. "So, tell us who has the detonators?"

"Hey, lady, I don't know nothin'!" He tried to plead.

"Well, then... I'll have to get my friend here to negotiate with you," Brenda nodded her head at Otsana, as cue for her to jump in.

Why does every single fucking person have a fireball?

Like Jesus Christ; does anyone fight fist to fist these days? Noooo, everyone had to shoot lasers, or attack by slapping their titties together so hard it creates a shockwave. In this case, she stomped the ground to create a fissure of stone heading right towards her. Brooke missed the good old days, when fighters didn't have access to all this bullshit. Well, she wasn't around for the good old days, but she was going to make the best of it!

That earth was coming pretty quickly... so Brooke had to act. Vanburen Karate (and by that extent, Brooke) weren't built for things like dodging. They were built for getting hit with the most dangerous of all blows, and coming out unscatched! Save for the scratches and other booboos. Brooke would take booboos over broken bones any day!

"Triceratops!" Brooke shouted as she put her hand on the ground, fingers first. A glowing green, tribal painting-like, projection of a Triceratop' head appeared over top of her as her skin glowed with a faint green ki. When the wave of stone hit her, it shattered against her shielded body. Then it faded... with little to no damage done to Brooke. Well, at least she knows that her gimmick is Earth (and vague Nazi imagery)!

She stood up triumphantly, and grinned.

"Take that weak shit out of here!" She shouted, before she slapped a hand against her chest. "If you want to break me, you're gonna have it to do it with your own two hands!"

She got into stance, standing sideways with two hands raised like claws. She stared down her opponent as she slowly approached. She could take some more of those... but there was a limit. She had to get close at some point, and start doing damage at some point.

It was a rather brief and uneventful ride. The most that happened was that Johnny was trying to put new clothes on in a crowded hummer. At least Jaska knew what Johnny would wear! He got him jeans, a sky-blue button-up, with a black leather jacket over top of it. With no hat. Johnny rolled his eyes. Wish he got a shower before he came here, but the place is probably going to smell of cigarettes, and sex. It's going to drown out his ass stank.

They arrived at the club, the Golden Throne... it even had that annoying spider symbol that broadcasted that they had prostitutes here, right underneath the sign. Either that meant the White Spider Society had no shame, or the police around here had their heads up their ass. Not Johnny's problems, because you never touch a society's hooker until you want to catch a super venereal disease.

The hummer parked in the lot in the side, and Johnny figured that it was gameplan time! Going into a club like theirs with no fucking plan would be smart as driving this hummer through the front doors... Hehe... just like he pulled in Philly! But, he leaned forward, and folded his hands.

"Well, boys, and girls, and boys... you guys probably had lots of time to make up a plan!" Johnny said, with a cocky grin that showed his gold tooth. "So, I'm ready for some James Bond level spy shit!"

"Yuuuuuup, we do," Jake said, as he took the keys out the ignition. "Lin is going to find Linda, and we're going to have a talk with her..."

"I'm going to bring up the Founding Family, and see what she thinks," Lin nodded her head. "Nobody knows about my telepathy except for the group of us, so she shouldn't even be on guard."

"Then if ya'll got this shit locked down, then am I even here?" Johnny raised an eyebrow.

"We're going to have the exits locked down in case shit turns sour," Gabriela noted, "You just need to stay close to them. Mika's already in the club."

"Are we really going to rely on fatass?" Johnny asked, and earned groans from his family. "What? I'm afraid she must eat all the food!"

"Just focus on staying incognito, Johnny," Jake said as he stepped out the vehicle, then walked around to Lin's side and opened the door for her. The rest of the Valos got out the vehicle, and Johnny looked at Jaska.

He pointed a thumb at his younger brother, "... And what's he gonna do?"

"I'm keeping watch," Jaska said, as he did some stretches, before he dropped to all fours. "Don't worry about me." He shot off to the rooftops of the opposite buildings, and Johnny shrugged. They probably would be all over him, since the Society had a hard on for animal-type Metas. But, Johnny liked Jaska without every STD in the book.

He reached to the top of his head, as if he was grabbing his hat... only to realize it wasn't even there. He shed a tear as he moved forward. It was all Johnny could do.

"Alright, Valos..." Johnny grabbed his cane, doing a flip with it. "... It'sssssss showtime!"

After getting past the bouncers in masks, Johnny was introduced to the familiar dancefloor. Techno music! Flashing lights! Dancing babes! That he hadn't touched this place in years. Not since what happened in Black Fall... he wished he could enjoy it, but he was here on business. Once business got sorted out, then it was time for pleasure, baby! He just needed to find that bitch Linda, and then let Lin-

We'll stay in touch. Johnny heard the mental voice of Lin, as Jakey carted her off arm in arm! While he had to question some of the choices Jake made in life, he had to say that Jake bagged a good one! Oh wait... she was probably reading those thoughts.

Um.

Moving on.

Gabriela was close to Johnny, but the eldest Valos had some questions. Questions that Gabe should be able to answer. Well, he used should loosely since you can't hear shit in these clubs (It was still poppin' though).

"Wait, why is Lin talking to this broad?"

"Remember Johnny... her dad's the top Savior," Gabriela answered. "She apparently met Linda in one of those Savior parties."

"Ahhhh, now I get-" Johnny was cut off when he felt a terrifying presence as he walked through the club. So much happiness coming from someone very close to him. He turned his head, and saw someone with an intense green aura. Meaning happiness. But, shit ain't right. It was too green.

He must be trippin' on that new drug.

Johnny made sure to give that bastard a wide girth. Because happiness and actual positivity saps away his power. It was retarded enough that a drug just makes someone the happiest motherfucker on the planet with one pill, but now he was in a club full of people tripping off it.

"Know what, Gabe?" Johnny asked his sister, "Let's get some food, I think that prison slop poisoned me."

"Fine by me."

The two siblings grabbed a seat.

The quirk pool isn't bad like some of the others are saying, but it could definitely use some more work. I do like the idea of quirks like Evo-Clones, but the others are a bit weak in comparison.
