It was a option and it didn't have to be during the current scene, but after it. After Josie finishes her mission, she could help guard and add a little muscle to help Odette keep Rach within Cowl's possession. This way there's some interaction before the final duke out between Gene Co, Odette, and the Heroes as I believe Lekh is leaving after this scene. Just a thought and understandable if you still want to continue through your current mission then wait for S2.
@NeutralNexus When you're packed, moved, and settled... Tricks has a request! She wants to see Cowl fight, oddly. Me, personally, I want to see at least a brief cameo at the Iron Works and chance to interact with someone, even if it's not Rach. :P
Okay, I got caught up with the story. I'll start on a Red Reaper post soon.
NN put Red Reaper on another side mission so that you could end it quickly and likely easily be brought into the arc when/if you have time. Namely as you were part of it before you went MIA. However, that choice is up to you if you want to baby sit. :P
