Bio

You showed up.

One way or another, you've arrived at my profile. You've taken a wrong turn in an alleyway because you didn't pay enough attention to your map. You've heard of something cool and new and thought maybe you'd see what all the fuss is about? Or maybe it is that you noticed like me updating my status or were lurking through an RP or something I am in and just kinda clicked my profile, that happens too. Regardless, you'll come to learn that your actions have consequences. Not this one since you can always just, like, leave.

I have a few names and I don't mind being called whatever you fancy at that given time. KingofTheSpectrum, FamishedPants, ChadChadlainn. Any derivative of these is fine as well. Most tend to use Pants, however. I'm nearing my thirties and enjoy games, anime, V-tubers, and visual novels. You can find my still-obsolete list here as it contains everything important on it.

As for games particularly, I am a huge fan of Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, Nier and its sequel, FFXIV, and recently, Project Wingman.I tend to lean towards shooters and action games, but I have also wasted 8+ years on League of Legends. I think the only games I tend to avoid are card games and sports games, but there can always be exceptions.

For anime, I tend to watch whatever looks entertaining. It doesn't have to be good. I've seen a lot of the generic, poor-quality isekai harems that are out there. It's difficult to remember what I actually genuinely like, but Chaika the Coffin Princess comes to mind, as well as FMA: Brotherhood. I'm currently enjoying Tokyo Revengers.

I've read my fair share of visual novels, as my list would tell you. I can't recommend going through Muv Luv Extra/Unlimited, then playing Alternative enough! Big fan of Rance, Grisaia no Kajitsu, and Demonbane as well. I could probably go on and on about them, but I'll stop here.

Also, fuck you, Broken.

@6slyboy6

Not gonna lie, the moment I saw his appearance I thought of Coldsteel the Hedgehog. Ayy.
@Zelosse

The most logical thing of course, which is to divide the sword into separate shards and plant them into different characters, slowly allowing the corruption of the blade to make them find and kill other players to recollect the shards into one blade.

At least that's how I intend to "destroy" the sword, cuz y naught.

Reminds me of this one anime that had a lot of good OPs/EDs.
My fellow RPers, Behold! I have made...a Post! *cue dun dun dun*

I feel as though you are hopping in at the weirdest time. It's a clown fiesta right now. I wish you luck.

@Lunarlors34

I see. (I don't really see).

Aleph Banton

"The sky seems busy today."

Was it not the case that Aleph had engaged in a fight prior in the day, he might have put a little bit more "oomph" into the concussive blasts he had fired towards his foes. Perhaps then they would have at least caused the grip on The Slanderer to loosen enough so he would be dropped. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and despite his luck guiding the blasts where they needed to be, they were deflected and only caused minor injuries.

"I... cannot let someone like that roam free." he explained to his companion as he took off. It mattered not to the man that the guy stay behind or if he followed. Aleph's mood soured enough to where he had forgotten he was hungry, so he took off in a sprint towards the direction they had fled to. Even if they gained a lot of ground between him, Aleph knew they were following that woman, and that woman was obviously headed towards the smoke off in the distance. Eventually, they would meet again, all he had to do was run!

But that was in an ideal situation.

Somehow, Aleph got the feeling that it wouldn't be as simple as reaching them, challenging that villain to a fight, and winning. No, there was definitely a reason for all that smoke, and likely he would be required to assist some civilians or best some demons or the sort. Really, who knew? But if it were demons, he would have to prioritize them instead of making sure that man never slandered his name again. But at the very least, defeating demons would make him feel a bit better, since he knew he was doing something for the good of the people.

I'll ensure as many demons are destroyed as I can!

But as he was sprinting towards the smoke, he noticed something a bit odd. Namely, he just barely noticed some people on the roofs of a nearby building. Actually, they seemed to be knights of some sort. What were they doing? Before he could even gather what they were trying to accomplish, he saw one such person yell something to their fellow knights, before leaping right off the building!

What the hell is wrong with this person!?

Aleph started towards this when all of the sudden, some punk-ass, big-ass, fire-ass, exploding-ass explosion exploded on the roof right next to the knights! Thankfully, all but one? had managed to leap off the building. While jumping off a building typically was not the brightest idea, Aleph could gather it was a better alternative to being roasted, quite literally. When Aleph himself was done flinching from the sudden fright, he immediately changed his focus from the chase he was on to the knights who had hastily departed from the rooftops, particularly the one who landed in a conveniently-placed bundle of hay as he rushed over.

As he was a Hero, not some simple civilian, he paid no mind to the warning by the other knight, unlike most who had. Instead, he kneeled down next to the hay-knight, and offered his arm for her to get up, as her allies seemed busy with other business. He was no expert in healing magics, but smaller damage was not beyond Aleph's basic healing magic. At the very least, he could hopefully numb any pain or rid her of small cuts and the sort if she has sustained anything like that from the fall. She didn't have any visible wounds that looked serious, at the very least.

"Are you unharmed, knight? I can't mend any broken bones, but I can numb the pain." he explained what he could do for her.
@liferusher
Vesta literally 'teleported' cause she died XD
Also she didn't 'see' she 'felt'. A hint as to one of her vast earth magic abilities are. Though I did speed it up a tad by saying a few streets XD
Famished hit the nail on the head earlier whether he realised it or not
Also like half the people have been running or using yang magic XD Carman didn't do either

Err, I'm lost. Are you referring to how I said she teleported into existence in front of him?
@6slyboy6 Senyuu OVA :D watch the whole show, it's the funniest thing I've ever seen XD

Also sorry for taking so long on my end - a bit of dilemmas but I'll be able to finish my post this afternoon ^-^

Well then, you must not have seen too many things!

...I've never seen the show, just saying :^)
@lunarlors34

So yeah I didn't post because I forgot you already did. ayy
Heinrich Ford

"Keep a calm mind"

"I see no need to explain myself, a Celestia, to someone beneath my rank, especially one as perverted as yourself. How poor must you be to not be able to afford clothing? Or do you simply get off by doing it? Either way it's your problem my dear sir and I suppose I shouldn't judge." the woman replied.

Heinrich was familiar with the name Celestia. Celestia was the name of an online user whom had an unhealthy infatuation with a kid's show about magical horses, and was known to go around and post things relating to said show on websites where it should have been irrelevant. There were even a few times when Heinrich's keyboard clashed with Celestia's, though a decisive victory was never earned by either of them. Thankfully, Heinrich had been blessed by enough common sense to know that this woman was very unlikely to be said Celestia, and that she was instead of noble descent of some sort, judging by the way she arrogantly held herself.

He wanted to inform the woman that he did not dress this way because he was a pervert or anything, but decided against doing so as she clearly had little interest in him or his situation.

Wait.

What?

She wasn't interested in him? Was this the real life? Or was it just fantasy? This would mark the first time somebody he had met hadn't suddenly fallen head over heels for him, and he was so thankful for it! She may not have known it or even cared about it, but Vesta was already Heinrich's favorite person in this world merely because she wasn't enthralled by his normally-overwhelming beauty.

That being said, he still really couldn't fathom how she got in front of him. It wasn't any kind of magic he had heard of, and while he wasn't a particular expert... merely appearing before him with no special effects, no evidence of used magics? It seemed off, even for a world like this. On top of that, the people around where she had spawned seemed completely unaffected by her appearance, as if it was the most natural thing in the world.... which didn't seem natural at all!

Before Heinrich could ask her about it again, with feeling, she had started up once again, this time about getting somewhere. "However you have approached me at an opportune time for myself. You see I must get to an inn by the name of Crescent Moon. As I seem to be feeling a tad unwell and not familiar enough with the capital to know my way from here, I need someone to guide me. I'll offer proper compensation of course once I meet up with my attendant. So if you wouldn't mind Mr Perverted-No-Shirt?"

"I cannot claim that the name you've given me is particularly enjoyable. If possible, I would prefer you refer to me by Heinrich, or Ford if that is too much of a hassle." Ford's voice betrayed not a hint of irritation nor a dash of fear. It was merely a strong voice with the tone that almost sounded like he was discussing something mundane like the weather or breakfast. Despite Vesta being rather tall for a woman, her figure was far from intimidating and even were that not the case, Heinrich's tone could never leak something as ugly as fear through it. But it wasn't like she needed to intimidate him to get his cooperation in the first place. Vesta, ironically, was already Heinrich's favorite person from this world so far simply because she wasn't mindlessly devoted to him for no reason, like everybody else he had currently met.

He no longer envied the life of a harem protagonist, not after this experience.

"I can lead you to the Crescent Moon." he informed her, turning around. Unfortunately for Heinrich himself, it was in the direction he just came from, and that risked running into a few undesirable people, but such was life. He could distract them with a mindless task, if need be. "I would like to hear more about how you came to appear in the middle of the street, though. As far as I am aware, no such magic exists that is capable of that, so it intrigues me." expecting the Celestia to follow, he took off in a fabulous walk. "If it is that important to keep a secret, then I won't pry further."

Perhaps this new life was some form of virtual reality that was created in order to get Heinrich to be more sociable? Because if it was the old Heinrich, he wouldn't have even bothered to talk to this woman, even though she was mysteriously "spawning" into the street. But now there was an alternative that actually made him want to go out and speak to people. In the back of his mind, he held onto the smallest belief that yes, he was in some sort of therapy he hadn't consented for.

If only.

@FamishedPants Wait they explode? Wat, wat, wat?!

They don't explode with fire or shrapnel or anything like that (unless there happened to be shrapnel caught in its blast), but they do explode, yes. Wouldn't be lethal unless it struck you right in the neck or a SHITLOAD of power was put into it, but it's definitely an explosion of sorts.

How did you think they kicked up enough dust to limit visibility in the Vesta/Aleph fight? XD
*eats potato chip*
Now I'm curious how Coreen could get such precise information like weight, gravity, force, in the middle of a smokescreen. And not only know that Grian will jump, and know the exact direction & speed of that particular jump. Even if you use the curls of the smoke as a hint, I don't think the calculated hypothesis would be that accurate. Just saying, I'm neutral in this case o3o ~~

Either ways, I had just speedposted out of frustration after seeing how a fun, friendly IC fight would seep all the way through OOC. Now to think about it, Sorry about that, I can delete that post if you want to, wasn't in a very good mood this morning >_< ...

I don't think the blast would graze, considering they explode. I'm busy atm so I'll get back to you when I can.
